of vidhura inner mind of
dhrutharastra became purified.later told”vidura,tell original seed
manthrakshara (mula beeja manthrakshara) of” athma vidya”.then vidura joined hands and told.
2)”I am of other caste.it is wrong to tell
parathathva(supreme principle,high philospphy).only by high muni(saint)
brahmathathva can be known.it can’t come
from others face.who knows vastness of
brahmathathva.” Vidura told.

“only Sanathsujatha knows brahmavidya. No others surely..he is totally
good charectered.if you remember him all your desires will be met.”
Dhrutharastra going near him in mind only was in requesting
feel,sanathsujaatha,high Brahmin came there.
4)as dhrutharastra
remembered sanathsujatha came there.dhrutharastra doing namaskarams “hey,
munivarya(high among munies) ,give brahmopadesha by grace”he requested.then sanathsujatha told
about brahmavidya..
5)dhrutharastra ,I will tell you parathahva vidya.all moving and non moving
of the world without
differentiating as high and low,seing by uniqueness(ekathva, oneness),without
undergoing joy and sorrow should be with
‘samarasa’ feelings.
6) listen king,by athma
sky was bornfrom shy air,from air
fire,from firewater,from
water earth ,in that medicine(oushadhi),,from that rice,,by that
purusha excetra were born
7)created by one formula
(suthra) eye,nose,hand,leg,ear,as all these are with equal feel(intellect) in body,a person with universal friendship without difference of fit and unfit ,to mix
and live is high character.(feature of brahmajnani)
8in creation, in
movements(and non moovments,ill moovments) of panchabhuthas(five elements) ,in
vidya and avidya, loss and profits
without getting mind disturbed ,
without considering (counting) time and karmas,if you exist you unly are god.
9)anima,laghima,garima,mahima,praapthi,praakaamya,eshathwa,vashithva
To get these
astasiddhies( eight siddhies) know the
method of praanaayaama which
includes kumbhaka,puraka,rechakas.these
are features of yogasiddhi.
(note:puraka ,rechaka,
kumbhaka are parts of praanaayaama.rising kundalini at the time of chasing?(bhedane ) astasiddhies are
attained.anima-to become small,laghima-to become light,garima-to become heavy,praarthi-to
get what is desired, praakaamya-to make to get others what they
want,eshithva-lordship,vashithva- to control)
10)body is not permanebt,wealth is maya form death
godess.she will be opening mouth andwating for
when his time ends. Knowing how to get beyond this whirl(vyuha) mahathmas(great souls) ,forming life with jelp
of dharma(duty,religion) should
mercilessly(without hesitation) get
hand control over liberation state(mukthi raajya)
11)leave dussanga(company
of bad people).do sathsanga only.without spending day and night in busy of business,be engaged
I dharma. Worship nithyaananda(eternal bliss)
material.will succeed in both iha(this world) and other world.(para).this
is real form of thathva.
12)being spoiled by low
plays of senses(indriyas),holding bad path,getting mad of temporary family joy,,being caught in problem of birth
and death,,eating pain in many wombs(vaginas,yoni) to get tired is it proper.
13) many coloured cows
give amrutha like milk which has white colour only.in same
way mis directed moving and nonmoving
creatures to wander and hide is only one
sadvasthu(brahma).not two.
14)doing
excess(much) good deeds(punya works)
after enjoying high enjoyments(bhogas) ,on completion of punya again falling to earth can’t be missed.therefore finding out(knowing) which is not taking birth again great mystics(maha anubhaava) guru shown path only one should walk.
15)summary of whole
dharma is this.know this intentionally(intellectually).one which is painful to
you, you won’t do this to others.if you
follow this , you will be relieved from family(cycle of births and deaths.,this
only is means of liberation. All wii agree this.
16)only one non second
(advitheeya) brahma making it two(by imaginating
multiplicity,manyness)) by illusion of intellect without seing proper base of rise of knowledge,without knowing front and
back of principles(thathvas) ,greatselves(mahathmas,athma jnanies)path without
going in their path world is getting spoiled.
17)pranava(omkaara) is
only one.there are three letters in that.in them attributed(guna sahitha) many uncountable moving and nonmoving are there.but
in that pranava form brahma is
non attached(nirlepa)..though all matters get
destroyed shining brahma will be there.(remaining)
18)when sun sets
in weatern sea ,many kinds (groups)of birds making noise
joining one tree spend night.next
day will moov to different directions. Like that after completion of enjoyment
of earth men go to different worlds.
19) sins taking place in
state sorrounds kings. It belongs to raja(king’s) purohith.sin of foolish
student’s (disciple) defect belongs to
guru.sin of wife belongs to husband.without knowing this system,world is getting spoiled.
20)world is afraid of bad
people.,will not count good
peoples(sajjanas).worship snake in
step(hejje) of eagle(garuda) with
patience and devotion.this is
outline which fools (mads) have given to world.
21)one’s mass of
longevity on earth is measuring vessel
is sun.knowing this considering(counting) each
days and nights should walk in
good path.one should celebrate one’s own dharma.don’t be upset by undergoing
arishadvargas(six enemies).
22)in family(samsaara, )
this is loss making,,this is high,this is bevavior coming since beginning.by this this world’s and other
world’s joys and sorrows are produced(heaven –hell).this is fruit of
karma done n pastwhich is cause of this birth ,thinking like this for one who
knows this one and behaves cautiously is it possible to have opposition.
23)dullards stone
statue,Brahmins fire(agni) yogies in
heart lotus worship god in many ways.
24) knowledgebles and
dullards can be made to agree by telling
something. What to tell to less knowing
bad scholars ?when it is not possible by Vishnu what is fate (condition) of humans?
25)donation,protection,
among these two by donation
happiness and wealth of this and other world(iha and para)
happens.by donation family gets
progress.by protection of dharma
liberation is attained.
26)i am king,lord(owner),
army chief(senaadhipathi),gurus and elders,,better one, god’s devotee,literary
man,member,sat purusha(good person ),telling like this in many ways wander with ego(aham).if jiva goes from body they are all called dead body by onlt
one word.
27) any excessive punya(good deed) or sin done in this world , for three years,three
months,three fortnights , within three days ,giving it’s fruit goes towards other world.(paraloka).
-28)from one earth
various animals took birth.from one thejas many lights take birth.from
one paravasthu( parabrahma) crores of brahmandas have come.they are not different.all are
vishnumaya.
29(in life myself,other,enemy, friend,viveka( discrimination
of good and bad),knowledge,ignorance, loss (harm) and development of this and other world,in these with one
mind donation,dharma,,help to others,good work(satkarma),deeksha(oath),sincerity
,there are fit for respect .
30)harsha(joy),vishaada(condolence) ,nirveda
(vyraagya,disinterest,kheda,pain),are three charecters of mind,morning
,afternoon,,evening are three
sandhyas(joints,joining times),god,this world(marthya,deathful),paathaala(dep
depth) are three
worlds,adhathmika(related to athma),adhidaivika (related to god)adhibhouthika
(physical) ,are three difficulties,,brahma,Vishnu ,maheshwara are three statues
of sadvasthu(parabrahma),charecters of these ,one knows what to do and follows them nothing is impossible.
31) rug,yaju,saama,atharvana are four Vedas,brahmacharya
(celibacy) ,vanaprastha ,sanyaasa are
four
asramas,bfrhfm,Vishnu,maheshwara
and devi(godess) are four
statues,brahmana,kshathriya vyshya,shudra are four varnas,
saama,daana,bheda,danda are four
plans,,dharma,artha,kaama, moksha(liberation)
are four purusharthas.,one who knows all these saalokya,saameepya,saayujya,are four kinds of liberations will get one of four liberations.
32)five great elements(panchamahabhuthas) earth ,
water,thejas, air,sky,pranaapaana vyaana udaana samaana five pranas,man(human)
yajna(sacrifice) ,brahma yajna,pithru yajna,god’s yajna(deva
yajna),elements yajna(bhutha yajna) are
five yajnas(adhvaras)(adhvara=yajna).five kruthyas( pancha kruthyas are creation, maintainance,
destruction,nigraha( concealment),
Anugraha(blessings) .shabda(sound),touch(sparsha)
,form(rupa),rasa,gandha(smell) are five attributes(gunas).knowing these
following ethics it is better to live.
33)sandhi,vigraha,yaana, aasana,dvaidha,aashraya(these are
charecters a king should have),vasantha(spring),greeshma,varsha(
rainy),sharath,hemantha, shishira(winter) are six seasons(ruthus)..six
vedangas(parts of Vedas):shiksha,vyakarana, chandassu,niruktha,jyothisha, and
kalpa .knowing their speciality ,behaving in good path ,going beyond maya
world,,to attain jeevanmukthi is very high
manthra.(thought).
34) salt,sugar cane juice(ikshu)
,sura,sarpi,dadhi(curd),milk, and water havimg
are seven seas.braahmi,maaheshwari
, vaaraahi,,vyshnavi,indraani,koumaari,chamunda, are seven maathrukas(
mothers),are seven
days.mahendra,Malaya,sahya,shukthimath,ruksha,vindhya, paariyaathre called
seven hills(kulagiris)seven vibhakthies, jambu,plaksha, shaalmali, kusha,krouncha,shaaka
pushkara, are seven islands(dveepas).vyvasvatha
manmanthara’s)
athri,vasista,kaashyapa,gouthama,bhaaradvaaja,vishvaamithra, jamadagni are
seven rushies.rasa,blood,muscle, maedassu(fat), majje(bone marrow),
bone(asthi),shukra are seven dhaathus in
,knowing all these and ways and behavior of
time those who live they reach path of liberation.
35)saastanga(eight parts)
namaskarams(head,chest,drusti(vision) mind,legs,hands,knees,speech, namaskara
done by these parts)rice,water,thambula,flower sandal (chamdana) cloth,bed,decoration these astabhoga giving
worship(archane),astasiddhies,knowing these,deciding future loss to walk(behave) is high principle.(before going
from this world ,doing god’s
worship,namaskaras, should be done and should have blessed life)
36)in brahma’s creations,new new developing
arrangements,their
excretions,shringara(decoration,make
up),veera(bold,valiant),karuna(kindness ,compassion),wonder(ascharya)
,haasya(fun), bhayaanaka(fearful),bhibhathsa peace are nine
rasas.navagrahas(sun,soma(moon),mangala,budha,guru (Jupiter),shukra(venus) Saturn,raahu, kethu ).by knowing world drama produced by these planets (considering these as useless)to walk in nine kind(nava
vidha) devotion path is high path.(shravana(listening),keerthana(singing),smarana(remembering),paadasevana(feetservice),archana(worship)vandana(thanking,namana),serventship(daasya),friendship(sakhya),athma
nivedana are nine kind devotions.).
37) infinet creatures moving non moving which are created in brahma cteation,without considering this is
high,this is low hari is present in
all.behaves in many ways .his behavior is very peculiar.knowing that he is
kapata naataka suthradhara(stunt drama thread holder,directer) you be happy.
39)then dhrutharastra”it
is good that you have adviced” boredom of my mind went off.i became blessed by
your teachings.i won both iha and para(this and other world).love (raga)
vanished,overlust became nil,became
blessed by your grace,please hear one request” he told)
40) to one person”he is
easy,literature knower,engaged in mangala kaarya(welfare works),,is thilaka to
family,no comparison to his behavior,,god sincere,,treasure of punya (good
deeds),born in good family,,educated,ocean of kindness,wonderful yukthi(logic,tharka)
knower,if people are praising like this that itself is heaven.(tharka should
be justiceful)
41)he is sinner,,has
fallen down from karmas,,ingratitude(ingrateful,kruthaghna) 9one who forgets
help done to him) ,killer of others,wicked mind,badself(filled with bad
thoughts),sows fear,,blamer, wicked,useless,ehicsless,traiter of caste,dharma,
and god,if people blame like this
it is hell on earth only.
42)dharma which is dependent on human body can’t be got
after fall of body.human body itself is means of attaining purusharthas.by body only moovment(fate) of
this amd other world is possible.no doubt in this.
43)without siddhi of
garuda panchaakshari manthra can fear of poison(snake’s) hide? Great sins will
they be destroyed without chanting of Vishnu nama(name) rememberance? To get
beyond family sea is there anything
higher than guru ‘s grace?
44)though head of family
is fool(dullard),in house he is respectable,king is head in his own country,in
village rich person is worshipable,,but scholars are respected every where.
45) out of hundred there
will be one valiant.among one thousand there will be one scholar.but in world
no donater ia seen.each person will have
only one charecter.but all charectered
treasure is scholar.
46)for wjfe husband is
fate(gathi,last resort).for Brahmins fire(agni,holy fire),for remaining three
varnas Brahmin,on eart this only is
ethics.if you want to get happiness in this
and other world(iha and para), worship Brahmins.
47)
debatured(jaara,slpped),enemy(wicked) ,false allegater(chaadikora),,woo wishes
bad when time comes,,thief,shanda(sterile) these six people should kept away. Should be prohibited is openion of
good peoples.
48)maahishaka,vrushali,
interest business ,if you find these people
luck of those will be disturbed and destroyed.this is decision of
scriptures. To know this and behave is ethics.
49)one who lives by
unethical earning of wife is maahishaka,bad lucked.one who moves with him to drown n heal sea is only fate.no good
fate(sadgathi)
50)knowing that all
moving and non moving creatures are myself,when he always sees there is nothing
other than him, he himself is good man(sathpurusha).those who want good
(better0 in this and other world (iha and para) should worship him.
51)world is under control
of god.that god is under control of
manthra.that manthra(holy syllables)
is under control of Brahmins.therefore here brahmana himself is god.
Which is god higher than him?
52)stone breaker cuts
(carves)the stones.by many methods one who cnverts it into god among gods and demons are
only better Brahmins and not
others.tell which is god in this world?
53)particles of sand on earth,rain
drops falling from sky in case can be counted.but if one good brahmin is protected among Brahmins coming fruits can’t be counted even by gods.
54)following ones caste
and dharma,engaged ib service of father and mother,leaving praise and blame of
other’s charecters.to have devotion in
shiva,guruand godsis itself will bring
veru much punya told sanathsujaatha.
55)what is achieved by
money? Which is meaningless?which is
one’s selfishness? Which is other’s money?which is theertha (holy) in path of
dharma?who are efficient among
Brahmins?who is waste life in function(assemble,gathering) asked dhrutharastra.
56)if a rich man wants
anything it is got.desire of poor will
become open(will not be fulfilled).desire of rich man is achieved.joy is got.in
world money is only means of all not
other.
57)communication with
those who are living as waste,friendship
of those who are not able to look after themselves,life of one who lives by
others money,,over wastw(spending) without money,life who has no people to come and beg,allthese
produce heritage of meaningless .
58)dharma should be
practiced,,friendship of good people should be done,by talk ,mind,and body
prohibited business should not be done.
Should not have
communication with dasyu(enemy,thief ,uncivilized).it is waste to walk in this
path.
59)elephant,horse,treasure excetra will be in palace
only.childern,friends,wives,brothers,relatives(gothrajas) keep body in forest and return.the
punyas(good works) done will come behind back. What remains?who knows secret of
dharma(duty,religion)?
60)world is standing on
the basis (support) of dharma. Whole
world follows follows dharmista(one who is sincere to dharma).dharma only
destrpys sins of many births.dharma has settled everywhere.that itself is supreme
post(paramaoada)(liberation)if dharma is left it is not life.
61)by many yajnas if
indra is satisfied , he completely pours good rain.indra is supporter of development
of plants in both worlds.
62)if you want to know
where is better theertha ,where is sathva(power) of all theerthas listen—washing feet of Brahmins ,one who
sprinkles to head I will have all the desires fulfilled.
63)in milk sea when
Vishnu was in yoga sleep bhrugu maharshi hit
his chest with left leg.vishnu
took feet of bhrughu and kept them on his chest thinking is there ant pain to leg and shined their greatness(mahime).no higher
theertha than feet water of better Brahmin.
64)that Brahmin who does
yajnas,,,making veda studies protects
good desciples(students) ,engaged in donation,who can accept donation given by
others,,he is fit(efficient) among Brahmins.
65)in body of veda adhyayana persons,brahma excetra all
gods residing making house ,will be
protecting him.therefore to see better Brahmins and to namaskarams is
better.arguments should not be done in these matters.
66)youths,singers,gamblers-these
three whom they appreciate they are not
suitable to belong to group of desciples
in this and other world.these three whom they blame they are sarvajnas.this is
secret of dharma.
67)what is known,what is
unknown?what is ethics?what is non ethical?which is dvaitha? which is advaitha?which
arefame,ill fame, fear, fearless?please let me know asked dhrutharastra.
68)doing service of
Brahmins ,to one(such great soul) who
gives them higher prizes(gifts),he will not miss treasure of heaven and liberation.to one knowing these
and behaving what is impossible?
69)taking birth in eighty
four lakh yonies( wombs,vaginas) taking birth in eightyfour viyonies(yoniless)
,at end coming as humans,to die as
ajnani(ignorant) it is their
fruit(result) of karma.
70)one who drinks as
pig,one who disrespects Brahmins
(insults) as kshaya patient(tuberculosis),,if makes loss to guru people
as leprosy patient,as hen by pride,as snake by low behavior,-like this
moving and nonmoovings
according to karmas take birth in
many yonies(wombs,vaginas).
71)one who keeps quiet
listening severe (intensive) argument of others,one who does not listen to
others talks like a deaf ,one who doesnot see any defects and charecters like a born blind, is direct parameshwara
himself.
72)agnihothra,food
donation,to satisfy worshipables,,in good religious paths to protect state,,relatives,dependents,brothers,children
are to
be protected. These are
suitable( free) duties of a king .
73)without missing given
words,keeping up time,sending of
goers,respecting those who are with us
long back,without leaving hands of servents,according to their capacity to give
post is king’s ethics..
74)going against people,
,sqeezing peoples ,leaving donations and
dharmas,,without seing Brahmins and gods
taking tax again and again, to come down to low level is it ethics?you
only tell.
75)apart from
yoni(vagina,womb) in other place
,leaving human yoni ,who enjoy(do intercourse) with animal yonies ,being in
many hells, later they will be born as dogs.
76)without accepting
jivathma himself is paramaathma,,without knowing face of vrdantha
scripture,telling ‘daasoham’,leaving company of jnanies ,without knowing
vilaasa(play) of maya,dvaith (multiplicity,dualism.differentiation ) is dieing.
77) withot going to
bad matters,being in company of better
peoples,thinking that all joys and sorrows of all moving and nonmoving
creatures are mine only(,knowing that all joys and sorrows are
imaginatory,,showing them right path),to know I have no punya and sin ,to know
this is extraordinary siddhi.(by knowing that athma has no sin and punya ,then
sin and punya won’t attach.
78)though dharma kaaryas
(religeous works) are done,if beyond purohiths,when we go to heaven there gods
will hit and send him back to earth.they
pull out valience,spoiling country ,will piece(powder)
chathuranga(four parts) army.
79)state of
bali,treasure*wealth) of vibhishana,seriousness of sea,strength of baana,arm
strength of hanumantha,challenge of hanumantha,,donation of dadheechi, arjuna’s
friendship(srikrishna),patience of yudhistara,if these are adoped ,then it is
better famous life.
80)servinf husband day and night,without remembering other’s purushas,getting many
progeny(children),daily remembering god Brahmins, ,one who is in anthahpura is called grihasthe.(housewife).
81)leaving house and
household works,talking in other’s house
in excess,that she has husbandeven if seen,bold woman though have got
ten children,it is better ifhigh person leaves her.
82)slanting head hairs again and again ,correcting saree
border again again,,downing face with
silence,seing people on that and this side with smile,to sliping jaarae’s(indecent
behavior) influence who does not undergo ,are better persons.
83)guru,father,mother,elders,god,collection
out of sin, cow,theertha,,protecting owner,god’s service done by
manthras,Brahmins,regarding all these people
one should fear and behave.
84) bad minister not knowing king’s ethics(political
ethics?),nonpolite purohith,why are these?by them which purushaarthas are
achieved?by king who is afraid of wars country’s all
treasures will be destroyed?
85)in world which is
dharma which is adharma? What is secret of political ethics?which is path?which
is bad path(pathless)?which is bad work
out of law(order)? Tell about these asked dhrutharastra.
86)dharma done along with
wife is veda told karma,gives result to
husband.karma done alone will no give result progress.fate of iha and para(this
and other world) results from wife
only.wthout her will not give
result(fruit)
87)dharma of dead while living(jeevanmrutha) who does not do guest worship, his dharma
will be captured (taken away)by yama,after his death destroying moovment of other world(paraloka)
in great hells,along with his family members
will put to jail.
88)to one’s work to be
achieved,,pride(ego,aham) should be left.by pride work will be held up(becomes
tough).wheather human or animals
nonmoovings ,going near them ,by their help having got supreme joy,to
earn their cooperation(co ordination) is
secret of work success.
89)giving money what is
to be given,,service of guru,by that earning of vidya(education) ,these are
three ways of earning education.apart from these there is no fourth path.king’s
should get education by these three ways
only.
90)bath of boiled
water,practice of manthra without
vaidikas,donation given those who have not done vedic studies,,in shraaddha not
giving dakshine(money,fees,remuniration),these are like doing sacrifice(homa)
in ashes..no fruit will be got.
91)to great person in good family liberation of iha
and para world
,increase in donation and
religion,,ibfluence of penance,,free rise in punya,joys other worlds will be
got.therefore development of progeny(children) should be there.
92)if thief is called
thief,if sinful is called thief it will
give equal defect. Witout examining true ang false if we talk hell is not
avoided.
93)to take back what is
given,to obstruct in giving donation to others,,people like puppies
doing such work will be creatures
for sixty thousand years in
viste(…………………..?)..knowing this don’t take back what is given.
94)if a thrikarana
ful(body ,mind,speech) donated thing is
kept it will increase with time gradually.to one who doesnot give even after
giving ,sin happens.for heaven and hell donation only is cause.
95)his earth is formed by
fat(medassu) of madhu and kaitabha.when you are living here doing punya karmas
(good deeds) ,it’s fragrance should be experienced.otherwise sin of eating
human mutton (muscle) eating happens.
96)gambling,drinks(Madhya,liquors),itching,fight,dispute,sex,food,cheating
profession, bad ethics,,other’s wives ,if used bad worries(sorrows) increase.
97)those who do bad work,
when sorrow comes do worry(pity).but
they will never think of it as good work.but
result of good deed ,joy is needed.withou sowing good deed (sukrutha) ,putting
water, without growing how is possible to get
heavenly enjoyment.
98)listen
dhrutharastra,all people in the world will have eyes.but for Brahmin only
shruthi and smruthi are only
eyes.otherwise he is not seing is the meaning.if both are not there he is born
blind.
99)not doing veda
studies, without performing ordered(right) karmas out of laziness,leaving them
freely,,growing body well fron other’s food,that low brahmin’s guts(intestines) ,godess of death will snatch.he is not Brahmin.he is
demon.
100)talks of summary of
vedantha, remembrance of god’s
names,words wishing good to all animals,-apart from these no other talk should
be spoken.this is openion of all good people.
101)to deny what is
traditionally(heritage,custom,)
accepted are they great valients
in world?first of all do they know their
behavior?those who are without viveka(desrimination of good and bad) ,insincere
should not talk such talks.
102)blaming better
ones,perfoming uncountable adharmas as their
daily duty, without differentiating dharma(of good and bad),who are
jadaathmas(dullards) will not godess of
death break and hit ,those who are away from Vedas.
103)details of puna and
sin of this world (people) yama
tells to aakevaala(chithraguptha,veera) from fourteen sides.(though there are only ten
directions).they press and bring punyas
and sins from four sides.don’t get spoiled by pride of what is by whom.(yaaraddenu)
104)sin of ten butcher’s
sin to a false allegater*chaadikora).
Sin of ten false allegaters to to one who prepares liquors(drinks) and
sells.sin of ten bar vendors to
prostitute.to king ten times that of prostitute sin happens.king’s post is not
ordinary.
105)one who aquires one
inch land by force ,one who captures(snatches,kidnaps) one cow in herd,failing
to one female(lass) who enjoys(to
have sexual intercourse)-these
people apart from getting down into
hell no other fate(gathi)
106)one who does not
