1)INTRODUCTION:

 I pray Sri Virupaksha swamy to fulfil all our desires.  That swamy(lord) to Lakshmi’s husband  Vishnugood luck,to thara pathi moon smoothness(softness),,to vani’s husband  brahma blessed intellect power. Valience to sun,,enjoyments to Indra,  To manmatha beauty which crosses three worlds,to sea king  seriousness graced.  He is the one who gave thejas(brightness) to fire(Agni).  That pampapathi who is gurumurthy , getting satisfied let fulfil our desires.

 

At the time  of sea churning  due rised up kalakuta poison,totrembling  child moon  rised sea bed.s At that time to protect gods and demons army , Shiva came.  While moon’s body was shaking , to protect himself  he shiva’s dense jade’s  place,kept  feet  and hided. Kalakuta making sound ghuda ghuda  was hitting and making to fall gods and demons army.s the,spreading now and then, spreading spark,  mrida(shiva) with middle eye(third forehead eye), rushing near sea,,catching twisting that poison, ,at his neck  kept(thodedukondubittanu)! Such greatly great shiva   protect us without leaving.

Hey,along with uma,decorated by soma, king of gods king,  Bhima of enemies,  fearful vast armed, regulater of Yama,winner of kama,  desireless,  charecterrful, decorated by red jade,  wearer of poison in neck,  world protecter, residence of punya, treasure of brightness, strong, having coordination of all vedas,praised by sama veda, lord of pampa, virupaksha  show kindness in us.

 

Chilld moon,-jasmine garland,red jade-knot(thurubu),burning eye-kasthuri thilaka,pingala eyed-lotus eyed,kundela shaped serpent,-goldn ear ornament(ole),poison black,rathna’s thali(mangalasuthra),beautifuk alum(sphatica’s) garland-beautiful breast,tiger’s skin-dukula,Thrishula-leele lotus,  decorated by these,,wearing leg chain in one foot,half narishwara Mahadeva  protect us.

 

Pampambika umadevi,  becoming sampritha grace pleasantness to my intellect.  She is light form to  saraswathi’s knowledge,Manikya present in knot(head,mudi) of liberation lass,  source(beginning) of all manthras, prana of panchakshari mathra, house of mangala(good),birth land of devaloka(divine world),Vishnu’s  queen  Lakshmi   luck of wearing ole(ear ornament), place of all siddhies(accomplishments), place of high treasure of Virupaksha.

 

Umanatha Sri  pampa virupaksha  bless us with  treasure of devotion and knowledge. He is moon wearer,Abhaya(fearlessness) doer, ugramaya, destroyer of family(bhava) of devotees, Ganga wearer,serpent decorated, divine form,Sun to dark of Sin,defectless- lord of vast universe, punya giver, lord of Hari, Brahma excetra gods.

 

   Hampe’s Shankara lord   bless pleasantness to my intellect.  He it eternal(Nithya) like  virupaksha,  gets called abhinava(new) Mahadeva, ,sense winner(jithendriya),desireless,  He is clean(Nirmala),nirlepa(unattached), mundane(loukika) love and hatreds  not attaching  extraordinary man(purusha),thanked by world, eternally satisfied, has kindness in all jivies(lives), famous as punyathma.

 

Pampe’s madiraja’s  knowledge lamp  enlighten in my heart. Covering Msaye named deep dark  vanish.Madiraka is Acharya of all Agamas.jealousless,defectless,high  uncomparable purusha, Summary knower of all vedas.  He has crossed avidya(ignorance).joyful,authority of curse and blessings. Fameful, secret linga lover,apart from that better poet.

 

 Let  Gururaja named Hampe  Mahadeva protect us.he is great person(great mystic)  who followd these rules. 1) not to join hands to those who are not devotees. 2) except his wife not to keep mind in other  woman(lasses) .3)sNot to keep affection(mamathe)  about body.4) Not to blame others.5) not to think of other gods .6)Not to miss Shiva linga  worship continuously.7) Not to undergo kama excetra six enemies(Arishadvargas).

 

  Let Hampe harishwara’s statue ,who is born in stomach of Mahadeva ,reside always in mind. Harshwara was having   gurudevotion in his father Mahadeva,

Disinterest(nishkamathe,desirelessness),knowledge(jnana),behavior(conduct), ethichs,kindness,jangama love,Shame(mind control),dame(body control),peace,danthi, skill(chathurya), ytruth,courtesy(oudarya),single sincerity,ability, mastery of all arts, excetra good charecters group ,joining together, as though statue has become.He is like this.

 

Four vedas,sourteen scriptures, eighteen epics,listening  searching, knowing balancing I am telling. Because feet of Srivirupaksha  iyself is divine. In these words there are no defects. In the same way if compared and seen, there is no work which nis equal to my work(krithi). Hamper Mahadeva’s son (athmaja), Raghavanka’s this poetry  is riddle  put forth as a challenge to dry logic(shushka tharka).

 

 By mang speech body  even once,child eyed  except shiva  I will not praise anybody.I have started to compose  this mahakavya(great poetry,great poem).

 Shiva devotees Mayura, kaalidasa,Halayudha,keshiraja,maluhana,bana, Bhoja,Bhallata,s Bharavi rxcetras  remembering feet, thanking(doing namaskarams), have started this krithi(work). All of them by giving me help  make this work to be completed. Let them make  this tasteful(rasa)  and correct.

 

Sname of this poetry(poem) is HARISHCHANDRA CHARITHE. It’s lord is clean(pure)  Pampa virupaksha.It’s maintainers are world’s devotees. This poetry is written by  shilledpoet king(kavi raja), high son of Harishwara , double poetlotus sun  Raghavanka panditha(scholar)! When it is so  who will not praise  mood(lahari) of story rasa in this world?

 

S extrardinaryness of language of Raghavanka is , his language  which is not composed(written) by accepting other’s money, language which does not steal  others poetry meanings, language which does not praise other god, Language which does not bring  mind sorrow to others, Language which does not blame others and self appreciate myself, Language, whose mind is not attracted  by other’s brides(women), All these charecters belong to Raghavanka.

 

Vasista told to Indra that Harishchandra is  is very truthful(truth sincere). Then vishwamithra took an oath that  he will make those words false.she came to earth and started to trouble  Harishchandra. Though  his wife and children  came to dieing  condition  Harishchandra did not speak false.then  SriVishwanatha who is Chandrashekhara  showing kindness on king,,blessing all empire, shined his fame. This is punya kavya describing this.

 

This much is brief story seed. Sowing this seed I will make to grow kavya tree(poetry tree). Worshippers  of shiva feet ,Abhimanies(fans),rasikas(eleganmts),honourables,poretry art experts(scholars), yourself  putting your manure  caaled romance(Romanchana)  to this tree,pouring  water called joy tears(anandabashpa), protect. Standing in  vastlyspread  branches called meanings  shadow,from first to last   loaded new fruits juice

 

This story pof Harishchandra king , making to grow creeper of devotion,  is a new kind of seed. This in mind of sajjanas(good people), making to appear rasa feelingful  meaning treasure, carrying buds of their excitememts , protected by water of joy tears, ss grow vastly.  Making not to  get interest in another thing,  attracts all people towards it. This poetry’s rasa,meaning,feel(bhaava), Alankara (figures of speech),rithi(way),bandha(mertes), feature,word usage -if there are any mistakes in matter of these,  shiva devotees should correct. Should be corrected so that others should not put hand.Appeciating this work, should be listened. If you correct there will be no deficiency(defect) of anykind to me.  I am your kid. Therefore burden of protecting me  belongs to you.

 

Words composition, ,poetry feature, meaning, rasa,when there is poetry of feel scholars ,this inert intellect,to describe   greatness of Eshwara,  why did he go!-like this seing me should not laugh.  Because if lamp is there in poor’s house will it get put off?  Will milk given by local(nada,desi)  Cow   will it be bitter?Hey,don’t doubt,  believe!  I will promise (give hand) and tell.This work will  become famous in earth and shines.

 

One who walks will miss step. One who  has no  strength  to stand will he miss step? Like that poet may commit mistake   while composing (writing) poetry  due to  rasa excitement(rasavesha),by forgetfulness,by laziness .  If there   are mistakes in one or two places  that only should be held. Liking charecter which comes up to end  should like and nod head.s By nodding head will it break?  Why brahma created rasaless(nirasa,useless) people who are not able to understand poet’s difficulties.

 

 Grammer scholar,,alankara(figures od speech) scholar, rasa expert,

who is specialist in speech design(vacho vinyasa),art skilled,such person  gets called as mahakavi(great poet). In front of him, who knows nothing  if twists a poem  and gets called poet,what is defect in great poet(mahakavi). Water sleeper Vishnu has become fanous as  Vishnu,hari. Frog in water also gets called as Hari! Has Vishnu come and killed frog  with anger  holding wheel!

What nif Mahakavi is there if there are no listeners?What if musician  is there, when there no listeners and enjoyers?what is by whoich garland  when there are no wearers.  What is by  artists group  when there  are no high people knowing beauty of art?  One who  is self scholar  having never before(Apurva,rare) art recognition(abhijnathe). 

 

Some how by punya  in some town  I   make to like one or two people only-is so how will it be! Though after knowing that there is  this kavya(poetry) in world  about  those who does not listen,  I can’t tell anything. When this poetry of given ear and heard ,whether they are poets or gamakies(singers),,arguers,speakers, I will make all to nod head with rasa excitement(avesha)!’there  may be  bad people also who like  don’t your poetry (poem)!” if you question like this, I will tell answer to it.listen.

 

If patient blames will milk became sour?  If owl  complains  without able to see  in day is it defective to sun?If a blind can’t see his face,  is it  right to say mirror is bad?  If bad people does not like,  to describe greatness  of Shiva who is serpent decorated, will this poetry  gets spoiled?Che!Marule(mad)! Let go, wht this talk of giving  reanswer to answer? Writers listen to my oaths!

 

In this work(krithi) is  resemblance to  description of others,if found,accidentally,  that I don’t know! Thinking mind joining together,  it might have  happened  like  that.  To steal matter told by others is lownwss(adhamathana,inferiorness).though it is known that other poets have described like  this,  desiring for that if I include in my poetry ,to ewater bathed  by them,to flower garlands  removed after wearing, - to  spit thanbula(pan)-to worn remaining cloth -to eaten and thrown(spilled) salivated(enjalu)food, same as myself stretching hand1  no doubt in this. this oath  belongs to  Hampe’s Raghavanka only.

 In front those who praise as ‘no equal to your poem’ on backside blame’what poetry is this’.sitting in their house secretly s ,in front of town people  twisted by them useless poem s, ,reading freely, ,blaning others, shout with bad tone! This raghavanka is  pain(shula) of such bad poets. nose sword! Prideful kindness’s choudantha!” Raghavanka scholar is  both poet, sharabha  bherunda!

 

,with feeling of relative, by freeness of friendship, if anybody praises me as poet or poet king  T will tolerate. Apart from that  standing with me for competition , I tell that he himself is poet,he himself is vayyakarana(Grammerian) with uddhatathana (pride,stubbornness), that nose of bad poet  in middle of   durbar(sabha,assembly,meet,function) ,raghvanka of hame will not leave  without getting him down! Who is Raghava?Souble sharabha bherunda(ubhatakavi sharabha bherunda).

 

My tongue is one which praises  pampapathi virupaksha only. How ever much wealth may come-what is present let it go, whether I am Amara(deathless) -or die tday only,in any situation,except shiva  if I praise  god and Nasthika(atheist), I am not devotee only.Ubhayakavi sharabha bherunda named this poet is vRaghavanka! When this is poetry composed by him, ,which sajjanas (good people) will not like it? Now let us start this mahakavya(great poetry).

2)BEGINNING OF STORY:

As all know  great ocean  with upset (kolahala)tone sounding,shining. By various kinds of waves, ,by deep  whirls,  by flying water drops,without gap,  by moving   water bubbles is shining.  By Shaivala,vidruma  rathnas, full. In them jarataka matas s patina called  many teehed fishes,  water eleohant,  makara(…….?),nakra(crocodile),  Shishumara,  thimi,thimingala (whale), mjigale,snake -excetra water moovers are also residing.s By movement of water moving an dimals, ,by high waves, ,by shakings (oscillations) sea is always sounding. In middle of land  sorrounded   by sea,in south direction of meru mountain, a state called lala country is present.s This is moving area of Madana(kama,manmatha). Birth place of all treasures.  Residence place of Sharade.  house heritage of  kalyana,capital of Lakshmidevi,  Mother house of vedas.  In that lala country uncomparable valient ,   to Sun family kings  by family heritage , Ayodhya named city  capital was there. Valience Lakshmi(viralakshmi)  enjoying coming ,   had dedicated beautiful rathna throne   to those kings.

 

Ayodhya had fame there city equal to Ayodhya.to that city there was very fearful fort.  It was as though warfield of fight of Kalabhairava,slice of thunderbolt of pralaya time(total destruction time),  box of filling rahu   who  swallows  moon  of fame of ravi kula(sun families) enemies,  or as though  whirl of Ayodhya lord harshchandra’s  strong valience ocean,was shining. That high fort  prakara(area,enclosure,avarana)  as though attic(attain) built for attacking   divine city(suranagara), Gods walking in sky,  when got tired , upstairs  constructed for rest as though ,  was recreating.Beauty of amaravathi, richness of Alakapuri,  mangala(good) of madhurapuri,  pride of shonithapura,  fame of alakapura,  roudrathva(cruelty of yamapura,  bhogavathi which is place of   uragendra(lord of snakes), construction skill, ,strength of Indraprastha ,  by piercing bringing  as though brahma has cobstructed,like this Ayodhyapura was shining.

 

;ord of that vity was Harishchandra king.enjoyment of Devendra,thejas(brightness) fire(agni),yama’s pride,nairuthi’s valience, seriousness of sea king varuna,strength of vayu(air),wealth of kubera, cruelty(severity) of rudra,Brightness of sun,psatience of earth, peace of moon-all joining together , might have  worn on form,-like this  Harishchandra was shining. He to  enemy called sea seafire(badabagni),to enemy caaled elephant kantirava.In front of brightness of body of Harishchandra,sun’s brightness black black, In front of his anger  gadabagni(sea fire)  cool cool,In front of giving hand kalpatharu is slow slow, In front of  beautiful body Manmatha’s beauty  bland bland,  In front of his seriousness sea is thin thin,In front of his peace  moon is  warm warm! Those who have come near him,begged him,desired him,touched him, Harishchandra   like him only  making them rich  courteseous nature.onseing his character, sandal shying,became tree!Kalpavriksha died(went to heaven)! Kamadhenu became dumb!parushamani(touch stone  by touching of which metals become gold) became stone! Siddharasa melted! Harishchandra if he makes mind, winning  indra excetra  dikpalakas (direction Maintainers), their weapons and vehicles  snatching coming  ability valience was there.

 

Queen of Harishchandra   queen chandramathi. She in beauty to rathi,in good luck to Lakshmi,in cleverness to Saraswathi equal.  In punyacharithas(in gpod conduct,punya historied), equal to gsanga. In husband devotion equal to arundhathi.In fame to Rohini, in thankfulness (in getting namaskarams done)  equal  to Gayathri. To  that couples  son named lohithashva was born. That child’I will wipe out those kings who obstruct me!’while talking like this only, learnt speech! From ranadulantha  bringing by robbing(suure……?),holoding allWhich was brought like that,standing  learnt to stand.Walked of bythales(midline of head) of enemies.learnt to walk. By bringing bringing their kappa (tax) without leaving,learnt to eat by hand! Bywandering with fame  learnt to walk!

 To Harishchandra king  there was intelligent minister called sathkirthi (good fame).he was having devotion towards lord,lovable to citizens,, who can think about  development of people,  controller of wickeds and protecter of sajjanas(good people) he was. Sathya kirthi  was expert in sixty four  arts (educations(vidyas) skilled in sama excetra four plans, expert in manthra  thinking. Esha devotee,valient, donater  he was.  All better political ethics  joining together  as though have become statue, he was intellect.s Near Harishchandra  having male valients  big  army was there.Soldiers diging earth, Spiting Vasuki,can bring. By bringing mountain can chase back of sun. making death gulp(thtutthu?) can eat and attack dikpalas.sthose valients powdered thunderbolt. may break ivory teeth of elephants, By tearing stars  may make to fall down.  Such army chiefs number  only was innumerable.  When like this, who will count soldiers?

What to describe  Harishchandra king’s  extrardinaryness? To his renunciation  scholars will  get satisfied only is period(Avadhi,limit). To state seven oceans are avadhi(period,limit). To devotion Eshwara nodding head is avadhi(period) for movement of fame s three worlds only are avadhi(period). For much enjoyment  all joys only are avadhi(limit,period,term).for valience destruction of enemies itself is avadhi! In this way  Harishchandra was ruling state. Non fadinf brightness(thejas),nonreducing fame, defectless fame,  non drying up ojas, non worrying pride,  Mind which does not shine with ego(ahamkara), falseless speech,non forgetting  consciousness(Arivu), lazylessness supre devotion,  wealth without greed,  fear not mixed valience,  development Without opposite -these were natural in him. In this way Harishchandra shining was happy In Indra’s Amaravathi one incidence took place.

3) VIVADA (………?)BETWEEN VASISTA AND VISHWAMITHRA:

Indra’s grandeur is uncomparable(Anupama). Stone spread in his yard is parushamani(touch bead). Milk yieLding cow is Kamadhenu. Garden is  nivaha of divine trees like  kalpavriksha excetra. Capitol is Amaravathi.  Play mountain  golden Meru mountain.  In house daily food is Amritha(elixir).  Prostitute is uncomparable beauty  Rambhe.  Throne(pattada) queen is Shachidevi.Rising vehicle is garuda(eagle).  Holding weapon is vajra.  Treasury is residence  nine nidhies( ninetreasures). Maintaining responsible  god is  parashiva! Such granderful Devendra  at one night gave divine meet in durbar.In that neet,Sura09god),siddha,kinnara,Kimpurusha, guhyaka, Gandharva, Vidyadhara,  great serpent(mahoraga) excetra  leaders  were sitting in their seats in lines and lines  according to their eligibility(suitability). In middle  devootthama (better god)  Indra was sitting in  Rathna fixed  throne. Aound him soldiers were  standing  holding various kinds of  weapons.  Everywhere lamps were enlighting.s golen dress of apsaras(divine damsels) ,smile,by clean ryrs light  those lamps were appearing as though dulled! In that durbar,sanaka,nandana, Narada,Manu, Marichi, jahnu,Jamadagni,Garga,gouthama ,kashyapa,Bharadhwaja, -excetra  chief munies had gathered.  In middle of that munies group,vasista and vishwamithra were sitting.  Greatly bright(thejaswi)  both of them, thoigh theu were two eyes in parts and subparts of body ,in middle of nine planets as Sun and moon,in midst of various rivers   Like Ganga and Thungabhadres were  Shining.

At that time Indra regarding vasista muni”vasista,On earth   ikshvaku family  of ravikula(sun race)  kinmgs are ruling whole earth(earth system)  since long time. Among vthen not speaking false  even once by mind speech body,who is truthful king?  You are rajaguru  to heritage of all  those kings.There is no king whom you does not know If there is such truthful king  inform me his name”asked like this. To that Vasista’indra  till this I know fourteen  king in Ikshvaku family. Among them I have not found king who is sincere to truth only. But  as though to remove defect of previous kings Now Harishchandra maharaja(king,emperor),is ruling state with  truth. It is not possible for me to describe  sincerity to truth only(sathyaikanista)  of Harshchandra.  Not possible even to Adishesha also.  Shiva promise  Harishchandra  is truth parayana(………?)”told.

 

 On vhearing words of vasista vishwamithra became angry.  Vishwamithra was angry before only as vasista did not honour and speak to him  in gathere durbar(oddolaga). What ever vasista tells it is not  right.This argument challenge was there in  vishwamithra. Whom ever he sees  in world  feel of grasping defect only  was rooted in him.  Like this  for  three causes  

 Anger of vishwamitha  muppurigondu(…….?)  getting old,on buding out  and covering, he stood”vasista, stop,don’t talk! As Devendra listens what ever is told,without boredom,will you chat as you like?Abba1” told like this. To both of then arguments and antiarguments (vada vibvadas) grew. 

Vasista: vishwhamithra  am I chanting?  Is Harishchandra not a great(big) man?you only tell.

Vishwamithra;yes yes, big man only,in him there mass mass of money is there!

 Vasista;why talk of money  in this meet9fundtion,durbar,gathering)? Is he not truth sincere?

Vishwamithra: not even a little  sandal of truth  has not entered his country only!

Vasista:parameshwara knows  Harishchandra is truthful. In state which he rules false,untruth, bad ethics, bad company(bad friendship), bad behaviors  have not entered

Vishwamithra: to one who knows the root  has leaf to be shown? Vasista  In your kings land9state)  I have moved very muchI know all! I will tell  it’s theme(svarasya). Listen, in that state  there is highness  only in forest.s  Pashupathi devotion  in Gokula,s  self tune(svaraga) in dog’s group(archestra), dvijopachara (treatment brahmins) in teeth brushing, religious listening in end time,  ashritha parva grandeur  in bamboos,svasthe(peace of mind,heaven) in those who are liberateds, highness excetra   charecters   are  not seen anywhere!

 

Onbhearing arguments of both Indra got worried. :’hey1’if two konas(he bufellos) fight death to plant!’it became like this proverb. ,due to fight of these munies, sanchakara(……..?) has come to prana of Harishchandra,it seems!” with this doubt he getting dissatisfied (unconsoled)’munies, If I tell something you started something!’In kings are there anybody who is truthful(truth sincere) ?’

 

Like this to simple question  is this the answer?  Can you talk light words like this?”like this asked.  Then vasista “what ever may happen ,Harishchandra is truthful .this is my stand(openion)” told.Immedeately Vishwamithra “he is not truthful,this is my openion?”like this told in opposite.

Vasista:Even if earth gets down to earth,moon becomes hot,though Meru mountain moves,  If sun  gets  dried up,if sea dries up,,even if fore becomes cool, In words of Harishchandra  false  will not enter.To know his greatness of truth   three eyed  Bhalalochana should come!

 

Vishwamithra:till such condition comes   my decision will not  shake! What happens by mere truth?  For truth achievement(practice,sadhana), if he has left many bad charecters ,then there is value to truth.

Vasista:what are bad charecters to be left?

Vishwamithra:greed(lobha),humbleness)(dainya),kindlessness,foolishness,,inertness(jadathva)!

Vasista:Hey muni vishwamithra ,fragrance in gold,rasa in  manikya,softness in pearl,,in heat of light  cool,hotness in sandal ,songs in flowers  can one search?Is it feature of  good hearted?  If I admire Harishchandra as  truthful ‘in him are there no these defects? Are these charecters present?”like this be asked?

Vishwamithra: vasista ,greed(lobha) excetra bad charecters, ,if these are present in him, What kind of trurth it is?

Vasista;good,listen,  to enemies with anger  back should not be shown,in this ethics Harishchandra is very greedy. In decision that  words of bad people should not be heard,  he is very foolish! In matter of seing women feared while beging devotion in god very humble(poor) , While killing difficulties of   scholars  kindless!  To keep leg in non religious path , he gets inertness(jadathva)! Vishwamithra , in vthese there is greed to Harishchandra   enjoyments excetra are there.,nowhere else!

Vishwamithra:Aha! Story of Harishchandra  has come in vedas only. As he has no child,  he may get hell, thinking like this, worshiped Varuna.  Varuna pleases with him’Harishchandra  I will bless son to you. But vhe should be dedicated as Bali(sacrifice,offer).’like this put rule. Harishchandra ehough if he gets progeny(santhathi), accepted to that rule.s as per that when child was born, ,due to fear of varuna sending him to forest, hided.

 Though he was knowing he is a lier who does not keep up given(promised) words,to praise Harishchandra as  truthful (truth sincere)  ,is possible to your intellrct only.svaruna getting angry  when made him to suffer from jalodara (ascitis, a disease in which water is cololected in stomach), Harishchandra getting upset, behaved as inert(jada).Do you don’t know this?   One who had so much of fascination on his son,  for completion of yaga(sacrifice),  to kill (give sacrifice)  Shunahshepha who is son of Ajigartha   intended sinner,is it not?  Why do you praise without hesitation?

Vasista: Whsat is use by talking more? In harshchandra king  those who can show untruth  directly in this world  were not born previously, Will not be born in future. This much I can tell firmly.

 

Vihwamithra:  One should not talk freely as there is mouth.  He is lord to earth upto sea.  He is your disciple.   He will give as much money as you want! You are in his  dependence (residence). When like this  how ever much you rise up and praise  who  will accept!

Vasista:what did you say?Am I living in king’s dependence(residence)? Vishwamithra:  Vasista don’t be angry!  If he tells lie what should we do to you?

Vasista:listen! Maintaining family behaviors (kulacharas) as told in shruthi,,in dharma path,performing great vows, following order of guru,,doing linga worship,performing high penance,  by vaidika  anustana earned collected punya (fruit of good deed)  in me.  In case if Harishchandra tells  false  ,leaving that punya collection ,leaving my wife,opening spreading this shikha(juttu), drinking taddy(alcoholic drinks),will go towards south direction.!this is my oath!

 

In Indra’s durbar all wondered. In between earth and sky  did severe war start? Are  vishwamithra and vasista munies ordinary? If they become angry  burning whole world into ashes,  again can create. Such greatlt great. When peace got disturbed   and stood facing war, ,gathered  meet members ‘whether we have to sit here?or rise? Can we talk in middleor not to talk? Shall we say yes?shall we say no?’ without knowing these, became direction illused ,grasped by worries. Devendra’s face dried up. He became worry anxiousness. “now if I hold anybody’s party  I will become  partial(partiality). If kept quiet negligence to Indra’they will think like this.If both are blamed ,’aa! Is he higher than me?’ like this they will know.If both are praised ,’your formality words are enough!’like this they may tell. Thinking that this fight is not needed and if tried to stop’wicked who brought and kept  competition!’ like this they may blame. Though  what ever  is done, these munies will not leave without cursing!” like this  thinking  indra became  not knowing what to do. Then Narada suddenly  rising  coming, “vishwamithra,in front of vasista what is your oath tell!”like this shouted.

 

Vishwamithra:listen!In earth  if thpousand yugas pass(roll) thoiusand times, return one day to brahma.  If those thirty daya pass , one month. If such twelve  months are  spent by brahma measure one year.  Brahma’s hundred years are  devendra’s  high longevity.  If It is confirmed that Harishchandra is truthful (truth arguer), such fourteen people devendras ,till they rule devaloka(divine world) I will not dstep binto devaloka(divine world).

 

Narada:well!beautiful osath! If told stomach pain,as though cutting juttu! If cow touches calf  like hitting bull(ghuli)! If prostitute complained means   like breaking door! What a fun,Vishwamithra  ‘if it confirmed that  Harishchandra is truthful, ,till fourteen indras are  spent will not step into devaloka(divine world).’ This is which oath?which is related to which?this is not right.

Vishwamithra:then listen! Devotion,shama,dama,yoga,yaga, vaidika karma,sincerity,dispassion(bvirakthi), severe vow,penance,japa(chanting), shaivagama Lingarchane,-excetra rules there is punya mass which I have collected. If it is confirmed that Harishchandra will not speak false, In this punya mass  half  I will give to  Harishchandra! To this gods only are witness.

Vasista:If so,when is examination of Harishchandra?

Vishwamithra: when it comes to my will!

vasista:examination (testing) till how many days?

Vishwamithra;till he lives on earth!

Vasista:in which way?

Vishwamithra: in thousand ways!

Vasista: Then you can go for examibation.

Vidshwamithra:you go and tell hsarishchandra!’vishwamithra is going to trouble in many many ways.be cautious’like this!

Vasista:if he tells lie(false) your muniship will go off!

Vasista: vishwamithra ,what are you telling? Don’t tell false harshchandra  like this should I warn him?’Sun, Don’t lose thejas(brightness)!Fire you don’t become cool! Moon,don’t lose smoothness! Hey,mandara mountain, don’t shake!like this should I tell? To tell chaadi(……..?) is it our greatness?

 

Vishwamithra:vasista, when thunderbolt hits, will held umbrella protect?  When eart quake happens and  earth only  swallows to save house?When great oceans boil and make world to drown, will bamboo meles(forests?) protect?  When I am angry  your poor teachings and advices,  will not save him. First go and give caution to him!

 

Vasistatongue told family(kula)-there is proverb.s heart of brahmarshi will be will be clean(pure).You are rajarshi. Is it possible to remain for you without anger, shouting, not to talk bad words is it possible for you!

Vishwamithra:you are talking fearlessly!

Vasista: your character makes tpo talk like this.

On hearing words of vasista   Vishwamithra  burnt up  with angerWhich poet will describe this? His eyes spread sparks. Face became red, forehead sweated,  hand shook,eyebrow moved, lip shook, held brahmadanda  produced smoke. Legs vibrated, Vibhuthi applied to body   became blurr, hairs erected,Water in kamandala boiled! Rudra’s kalagni onmly wore munies form  as though , vishwamithra appeared. He excited by anger,  as though emitting  fire told to vasista like this.”What did you call ma rajarshi?be seing, for your this mistake  troubling Harshchandra  I will show him as lier(false teller)! To you who have taken oath,  vow(vratha) corruptive (vratha bhrasta) I will blame blame trouble!” Shouting like this, angry vishwamithra muni,  roaring like thunderbolt, as it comes out from cloud, left Indra meet(durbar).           

 

 He went to his ahrama directly, biting teeth,  to break sathyavratha(truth vow)  started to think of plan. On that side who is like direct  paramashwera murty, ,vasista maharshi, without informing anything to Harshchandra,reaching his penance garden was  peaceful minded. Harishchandra  kingwho was  not knowing  this fact,  ruling state himself by himself.

‘if two he bufellos(konas) fight death to plant’  so as to realise this proverb,  Vishwamithra muni started to  think how to trouble Harishchandra . To win oath given to vasista ,,there was no way  other than to reduce  him down there was no path.  Vishwamithra was expert in   samabheda excetra plans. He sitting in  thinking alone  had indulged in bhranthiyoga(illusion yoga)! Howbever  by doing something  to bring out false from mouth  of Harischandra-this was topic of his meditation! Now one plan flashed.  Bloating with joy , ith joy   patted his shoulder. Calling few munies who were not knowing his mind, “you going to Harshchandra king   induct him to undertake  Bahusuvarna yaga(multi gold sacrifice)” told like this and sent.

 

 They were not knowing this wicked plan of Vishwamithra. They went to Ayodhya and found Harishchandra and blessed.sKing asking about their safety, on enquiring what is the cause of coming”kind\g  on searching and seing all vedas and epics  vtry punyaful  onre religious karma(work) is there we came to know.we came to inform it. If you decide to do this work we will tell” like this  munies told.  To that Harishchandra –“maharshies, I will do work heartfully. Promise of lotus feet of  guru vasista muni! Tell without hesitation”told. The rushies”king  that Bahusuvarna named yaga(sacrificre).  High among all yagas. It is possible by you only and not by others.’like this informed. “in that which is the main rule to be followd?”like king on enquiring “in that yaga time if anybody comes and asks anything  donation should be given. Should not hesitate even a little.If hesitated there will be many defects are produced.’told.

 

 In the same way Harishchandra  deciding to do  bahusuvarna yaga , making all munies to come, with veda told path  performed yaga work. At that time if any rushi asks anything he used to donate and treat all. Waiting for that situation only   cheating plan expert(kapatopaya patu), Koshika muni  surrounded by desciples group , came to place where Harishchandra was there. Vasista was not in yaa mantap. King welcoming vishwamithra with celebration,  washing feet,”maharshi ewhat is your desire?’asked like this. Then vishwamithra “king,Standing on elephant , if a kavade(….?) is thrown  above  how much distance it goes,  that heightful gold mass  you should give”like this told. Harshchandra ‘Thathasthu’(let it happen so),gave! Now only you can takeaway and go’like this requested.vishwamithra “not now when I want I will take it”answering like this, ,keeping that much of golden mass in  royal treasury only,  went to his Ashrama.

 

 The fame that Harishchandra is truthful(truth sincere), spread everywhere. In all places where sun rays go  hi fame words only. Vishwamithra”some how in this king one false is fund out enough.  In front of Devendra  vasistas thejovadhe(killing of brightness)  can be done!”only this worry. If people praise  Harishchandra in one or two villages  or in one city ,that is different talk.  On eart upto sea , all are prasimg and singing him! In any place of country  trouble,poverty,no shadow of deficiencies, , no shadow of ill fame.The award that king is  dharmathma(religious self), is carved in golden letters. ! like this tumulted.  To that koushika muni who is sarvaguna sampanna( all charecters treasure) another bad logic(yukthi,trick)  flashed.  To heat body  to put paccha karpura(campher)  mass,to tie mani Darpana(bead mirror)  to do wood(halage), like a man selling his mother for one thotth(dasi…….?),,for sake of one key like making temple fall,  for achievement of  one’s fruit, to bring defect to name of Harishchandra   he intended:”’by my penance strength creating  wild animals , crops of state I will destroy. Without tolerating  animals troubles  citizens(people) will go  king and make  strike.s Harishchandra not able to listen to  their trouble  will come to forest for hunting. Making him mad   attracting and bringing to my ashrama  then I will examine  kind of his truth!” thought like this. ‘bhala! Proper plan flashed  !” like this vishwamithra   liking his intellect by himself ,,closing eyes,  by uthpatthi mantha(production manthra)   doing water Abhimanthra   silled to dirctions.  Suddenly many kinds of   animals and birds took birth. Koushika muni, showing figure,,nodding head, ,fanning hands, to trouble people in various kinds ,  odered them. ‘harishchandra is false arguer(false teller), vasista is vow  corrupter(vow breaker),-like this  I will prove. Strength came to my decision.  Path got formed.  Plan buded”  like this enjoying,bloating,  like this vishwamithra was in penance garden(thapovana). By that time   winter(magi) completed.vasantha(spring) season came.

 

 Gradually pride of  winter reduced. Mangonshowd bud.Asuge  carried(burdened buds,  creeper emitted  buds(moggu),  flower passed(threw) paraga (pollen,pollen grain),bees flied around,  cool air emitted coolness. To moon charm rised.  Song of cuckoo  crossed beyond,  kama fixed hi arrows in young people(youths),  seperateds(virahies) opened mouth.  Vasantha(spring) season came.  Harishchandra gardener maintainer(gardener),  seing arrival of vasantha ,  with joy went to palace of  king.  Waiting for time,  visiting Harishchandra  ,shining Ashoka tree  bud bunch , ,garland of new flowers dedicating to king, thanking (by doing namaskarams)  told like this.

 

Great lord, Spring season came!  Giving beauty to tender creepers, ,increasing mangala  form of  mango plants,  filling beauty in  neck of cuckoos,  pouring joy to nose of bees, making peacocks to dance,  spring9bvasantha) has come. As harvest of joy to people,  parrots groups  sweet( tasty) empire,  as support to moon’s light, as valience rich of   armstrength of manmatha(rathipathi), spring season (vasantha season) came.  As lotus garden desires  arrival of vasantha,  garden is  observing(prathikshe) your arrival.King,.please come to divine garden(nandanavana) .stay there for one month with joy.

 

Harishchandra honouring    request of gardener ,informing to throne queen   Chandramathi,  carrying her and son Lohithashwa, along with ministers and family relatives,  with grandeur(vaibhava)  journeying to divine garden,  soldiers walked on both sides  as bodyguards. Elephants,horses,chariots moved.  Chanframathi sitting in dandige(moving cradle,pallakki), along with many beautiful sakhies and  maid servents(dasies), went. While chandramathi entering garden , observing beautiful parts of   family lasses, people’s eyes got torn. Smelling fragrance of  scents which they had applied,  desire of noses got fulfilled.  Those who talked with  lasses  their toingue became joyful!  Hearing sweet tone of singing  ears enjoyed.  Garden was like palace of Manmatha.  Residence of Spring(vasantha).  Nest of tender creepers.  Source of trees.  Place nof buds, residence of flowers,  house of fruits,  chavadi (village office)of cuckoos, bees playing land, reading school of parrots, ,birth place of Malaya marutha.  Temple of pulinas(…….?),house of ponds,  divine garden of peacocks, .In that divine garden  king Harshchandra , along with wife,children and family relatives(Parivara), entered.

 Kedages had grown around garden like fragrance emitting fence.those kedages  cutting mind pf seperateds(virahies)Manmatha’s hand saws as though, touching to hard mind of muni  broken manmatha’s arrows as though were shining. In coconut trees coconuts were in masses masses.To repay got help, earth goddess  giving to clouds by lifting  hand  amritha kalashas, For moving vidyadharas in sky yard   vasantha arranged aravattiges(water storages), things  born in churning of milk ocean  while gods carrying  earth mother  who had kept for her rasarathnas as though, those coconuts were shining. “they tell manmatha is strong. After all  how much  is his strength?-

Like this rushies winning their senses,  have made kama away.  Caught in hit of  flower arrowd(kusum bana)  we  will make him to wander!”like this  forest(garden) gods getting angry,holding rudrakshas  called water vessels, screaming of wheels  called madana manthra , is he chanting as though, water lifting wheels(rates)  shined.  By maintainance of  five sense organs of people  grown mango,lasses reared and grown up garden creeper, Manmatha speeches made to flow  like pearls sese(manthrakshathe) bud jasmine, lovers protected pomegranate, earth named lass protected champaka(sampige)- these in that garden were accepted  by various kinds.grown banana trees

“hey munies, see us.In our heart there is no defect of hardness. Wearing silk cloth,drinking mere water, without hesitating to  rain wind sunlight, though standing  to us no kombase(desire of collecting money, branches desire)! Standing at one place without becoming burden to earth,by living growing rasaful(tasty) fruits  we are giving to people”like this  as though to inform were appearing. Marugas had buded out suragi jajies buds had blossomed  spreading  fragrance. Madivala  blossomed  stood with beauty. Jasmine was spilling flowers.in few places creepers had grown  and spread densely. Around dense branches  high trees had spread.honge trees were oscillating (swinging)under leaf houses.In coconut trees and areca plants, various kinds of crop bunches(thenes), white soges were bending swinging. In middle of those creeper trees added dark had not seen light even in dream!ankura,,konaru,kendaliru(red leaves),bud,green leaf,bud(moggu)nanemoggu,flower,midigayi(small nut), matured nut9ripened nut), accepted by dora(half,semi0 fruits  mango,jambu,kadali(banana), herale,by norange trees, goranti,Dasavala(hybiscus), bannali, geru flowers garden was beautiful.

N that flower garden  Sun rays ans moon rays  without going inside  plants and trees had grown densely.  Young lasses wandering there  worn golden ornaments  ,byb golden sun light only  lotuses were blosspming! Their smiles moon light only  kumudas were  blossoming! Wha Sun can’t see poet will see.thjese words are not false.  To Hampe Raghavanka poet   flower garden’s

 Inner presence appeared! In garden dance of peacocks was running. Chilipili of parrots  itself is announcement of  dance celebration. Panchama tone of cuckoo’s  i6self is horn. Matured(ripened) jack  is drum(Maddale).Humming bees  are admiring vandiws(vandi magadhas). Ashoka tree leaf javanike….?)  . Flower creepers are  audiens lasses. Murmur  sound of leaves is music.  Swinging kanchuvala trees   nodding head of like.  Firmness of old leaves itself is   indulgence in dance! All paarots were aragilies (king parrots) only.  All peacocks were  beautifully feather spread  peacocks only. Bees are kid bees only. Mango is sweet mango.   Pulina is cold. Coconut beautiful coconut.kedage,golden kedage,whirl wind,south wind  all cuckoos  became intoxicated.  Uthpalas means blue uthpalas only. Hamsa means  king swans only.

 

 Harishchandra who was like Manmatha   forest goddesses  honoured and welcomed. Flower wearing creepers only are  welcoming lasses.  Eyes only are kalashas(holy vessels), Tender buds mirror,  noise of aragilies (king parrots)  drum sound. Bud nene bird, sound of cuckoo’s horn. Humming of bees is  wecome song. With this kind of royal honours  king entered.seing beauty of forest came near one pond. On seing folded naidiles(water lilies) as though lotuses are laughing , lotuses were blossoming.  At the same time few female bees,in midst(crevices) of  new lotus petals  rushing passesd through  pollen grains. By melting nector  mud formed getting down in pollen grains absorbibg nector   gave   as gutuku(gulp?) gutuku.  In that pond though there was poison there was no poison! Though new lotuses are there  no lotuses! Though lotus is present no lotus(kumuda). Though helpless(anti help)  is there no  antihelp(helpless). Though there were vijathis there were no vijathies! Seing peculiarity of this pond  harshchandra with wonder, stayed for some time there. Like this that garden’s seing varuous kinds of beauties, king going forward built in midst of flower garden  in divine mansion  stayed.

 

Laterperforming daily rituals (nithyakarmas) shiva worship which he used to do daily,in remaining time was  moving in garden. Harishchandra  along with ranivasa(anthahpura,harem)  one seing tender creepers, once moving in krida shaila(play hill),once  moving in pulina  plsce,once plucking flowers,once playing  water games, sometimes eating matured fruits, sometimes making to gather scholars group, was enjoying  spring joy.

 

  Seed of  cheating(kapata) tmanthra  vishwamithra muni’s  buded out. Seeds grown in lands  creatures and insects ate. Deers grazed plants, crop bunches(thene)  parrots peacocks,konche excetra  birds swallpowd.  Remaing crops rats ans rodents swallowd, guarding people snakes,bited. Roots and tubers of garden  pigs destroyed.  Fruits and nuts sugar canes  became part of sqirals. In water fear of crocodiles increased. Wolves  grabed tender calves.

 Tigers ate cows. People moving on road bears and wild he bufellos(konas) killed. like this in forest there was hahakara(upset). People were not knowing path of solution(solving). To inform their troubles  citizens(people) came to Ayodhya,  garden where Harishchandra was staying. They visited king,thanking by giving suitable gifts,”great lord, In your state when we are happy,,not found till now, great fear has come.  It may look wonderful. Wild animals birds  have born and grown are troubling us very much. In country no crops.no sowing, no water,.we have no safety at all. You should solve this trouble” ;like this requested. Harishchandra consoling them,giving money and grains,”citizens,don’t fear,tomorrow only I will come and hit birds and animals by hunting’telling like this sent  them off

 

Evening came. Sun moved9sliped) towards  western sea. Red enlighting  solar system. To  wash sin of killing serpent group, thunderbolt getting down into sea,,to his enemy mynaka  as he gace residence , with this anger  indra hit vajrayudha  on sea, whilds were drinking  water  caught in their mouth,  rising above and again getting down into sea,s coming sea fire9badabagni0-, To make nivali to evening lass(sandhyangane)  sea king lifted arathi, chudamani rathna  worn in front head of  dishangane(direction lass)  as though ,shined.

 Now  in east direction red coloured  moon rays,as reflection of  image of Sun appearing in  east sea. Like this recreating  sun moon systems  in opposite, as though shields held by  indra and varuna to fight shined. Later shining stars appeared.  These as though seeds growing moon light,as though moon given gutukus(……..?) sky lasses ruchiramuktha(…?) stars, foams spit by  sun’s horses,  grown in devaganga  white naidiles(water lilies)  buds, night lass  worshiped viushnupada(feet of Vishnu,sky) thora jasmine  flowers, recreated.  Thinking “my son will be born  keeping leg with grandeur  rajangana(royal yard) is there” like this  milk sea   laughing  with joy, getting swollen,,washing with waves,  as has spread jasmine flowers, sky yard shining,  moon rised up spilling  moon light each direction. Manmatha sharpening  his flower arrow(kusumashara), rubbing sphatica(alum)  saane( stone on which  sandal or anything is rubbed),as though mirror of Rathi,as though manmatha’s new chakrayudha(wheel weapon), vessel in which gods  spill moon light as though moon  object(bimba) , appeared beautifully.

 

 At that tiume chief  minister Sathkirthi , coming near Harishchandra ,’great lord,  oming for  movement in garden one month passed. Tomorrow you are going for hunting to  forest.  It is not possible to solve difficulties of citizens(people). Therefore this night undertaking city rounds(movements)  Seing funs here you should enjoy. “ like this requested.  To solve animals troubles I should go  tomorrow only.  Let garden movement  finish today only. This night I will undertake movements(rounds).’ Inform like this. Honouring garden maintainers   with prizes  requested all family relatives to  go tocity.

On both sides of street  very beautiful  vast mansions were there. In those houses decorated by  various kinds of rathnas,with grandeur beautiful prostitutes  moving  Harishchandra saw. Those youths appeared as though  welcoming king with grandeur.How it means is, Swinging  due to kuligali (winter wind) their saree border itself is flag,Moving curley hairs festoon(thorana),breasts themselves are kalasha(holy vessel), face itself is mirror,karathala (palms) themselves are leaf,,nails are flowers, pearl of ornament is naneyakki, eyebrows the,mselves are  sugar cane,bees covering  to worn flowers are peacock feather, sound of bangles  Mangala instruments! At that time lime painted white coloured  on upstairs s white coloured  young lass was  standing. She wearing white cloth,  to shouw clean teeth line, was emitting  white smile. Applying sanda to body, had worn jasmine garland on head.  Worn pearl ornaments  light like moon light, had spread up to street.

 

 That beauty standing on white upstairs , that beauty shining moon mark(chandra kale) as though  appeared! In upstairs of that prostitutes street  few were playing pagade and chess. Few were playing veena few were learning music and dance  instruments. At one  place parrots  were taught to speak,,on another side,  kamashasthra lessons were taught!In one place  they were telling stories of prostitutes fun.On another side prostitutes getting decorated  had mixed with beloveds. Harishchandra who was observing all these moved. At one place  lasses were playing game   named  chittumuri .

While playing  one facing another ,and coming forward  the opposite person was receding back. At time bee chasing bee, their alakas(…….?) sas flower arrow pushinh flower arrow back side, eyes,moon system, as though touching another moon system(lunar system),faces, one tender creeper   touching bud of another tender creeper, arms,chakravakas as though chasing chakravakas,  breasts, swans following fans  feet recreated.At one pmace beauties turning  various kinds of arms, while plsaying stick game(kolata),,with fragrance  of knot,  kid bees were flying. Along with their walk9gait), swans were keeping steps.  With beautiful words parrots were speaking.near breasts kokas were  dancing. Along with beautiful bodies of those lasses, vision  of viewers  were dancing!few lasses were playing ball. One lass  while playing swing(uyyale)  kicked(hit) moon object(bimba)  like  leg bench(kalmane). She’hey, moon, as known to world you are defective(kalanki). Charmless!snake has swallowd and spit you!defective,non firm, white bodied,. Such ugly you  came in front of my face.is it not?”like this with anger  appeared as though hitting.

 

In this way  moving with various kinds of  games, enjoying with beloveds, seing beauties , harshchandra king  getting mind fun, reached hs palace. Later completing bath,finishing meals, went to bed room and slept.  On this side beauty of moon becamed reduced. Youth of night  bride  became old. By gaplessly troubling  bees kairavas kandidavu(……..?).   Chakories which  were hungry during day  drank and drank moon light  and finished! As though all charm has been observed  sqeezed  on seing bad condition of moon   stars  dried up with sorrow! On seing degeneration son,seaking became poor! While  great night itself is vanishing   who will not  vanish?

In east there was sunrise.  Cool air blowd. Five great unstruments sounded,in temples  cones(shankhas)  announced greatness of shiva. In palace singers sang.  Vandimagadhas afmired king.  In peak of udayagiri mountain,  sun along with kirana thathi, shiningly appeared.  In east direction golden light   started to spread. Rising of ocean started to get down. Naidilke(water lilly)  started to dry up. Cool air started  to emit  fragrance.lotus started to blossom,s as though knowledge light of jivies,  sun ray appeared.  When red shining solar system was seen, what is this  chasing back of moon, exploded from sea fire(badabagni),red spark,or thunderbolt attacking  on  middle head , or angry kalabhairava  to construct sword,forehead eye of rudra   heating, base stone(adigallu)    called Udayagiri  ,on that for hitting  kept iron battu, as though recreated!

 

 Then Harishchandra king doing namasmarana  (name chanting), rised up from bed.  First seing that ghee in bead mirror  observing his face image ,getting blessings of scholars,  touching cow,praise by vandimagadhas and and mangala instruments, listening, went to bath room. Regularly doing face washing  and bath excetras ,performing sandhyavandana   with joy performed worship. Later doing donations  enemy king  intoxicated elephant  vidalanodagra  lion  Harishchandra coming to sabha mantap   sat in high  throne.

5) MRIGAYA PRASANGA:Harishchandra king  sitting on throne  giving durbar  regarding officers(authorities)s’ now we  have to go to forest  for hunting. Call our  hunting army(shabara sene),immdeately. Suddenly on informing  hunters army chief(commander in chief) king’s oreder,they got prepared fot hunting . hunters leader’s(hero’s) body colour is black,erected hairs, red eye red mustache,,spread hairs(head), arms which are like black serpent.  By hiting bow thread   upper arm  with ulcer, big stomach,small waist, fattened shoulder,held kurambu, long bow.when that hunter came to durbar with his group, it was as though smoke has covered! They to king kid deer,elephant’s Ivory, honey thatti(…?),peacock feather, tigers’s skin, punugina cat- excetras giving gift did namaskarams.

 

While fighting with wild anumals  happened hunter’s signs  had appeared in body of hunter’s leader.Rised by intoxicated elephants, diged by pigs, digged by tigers, bitten by bears, scratched by tigers, hit by konas(he bufellos), attacked by bherundas, wound formed by treading of kadaves(……?) were seen. Hunters had brought hunting dogs. Are those dogs ordinary?To theirAdventures  hunters had given awards(birudu). Haridallane,Hulibaka, dsukara mruthyu, sarangi mardana, maremari, kadkona kantaka, bhallukamalla, karisimha, Simhaprakara sharabha,sharabha bherunda- excetra various kinds of  awrds those dogs had earned. To catch animals and birds  by spreading net hunters thadikevale, thattevale, hasuvale, beesuvale, kudathivale,thallivale, thodakuvale, thoruvale, thottivale,gutavale, kannuvale,kaluvale,sididavale, haruvale, jaruvale, badigevale, bachuvale, gadhavale,gudhavale, madikevale-excetra  had brought various kinds of  nets. Apart from that, thadike,gala,gana,bana,kodave,sword, silukugattige, bisudonne,kolu,kalli-excetra instruments also they had brought.

 

Later Harishchandra in state  thinking for long time, hunting is to be carried out,along with few ministers and wives and  sons carrying rised beadful chariot. Vandimagadhas shouted awards. Horns sounded. Cones(shankhas) sounded.  Drums were plated. What will happen next like this dikpalakas(direction maintainers)  got upset.  Horses carrying ravuthas Horseriders and caretakers) “we will cross mind speed, will put behind waves of seven seas” as though have decided, touching dancing,in arrangement

(disciple) moved. Very big hunter’s army with ghuda ghuda sound,when started from city, earth shook,,directions  sighed(breathed with difficulty), Hood of Vasuki  shrunked at neck,turtle’s(kurma’s)  back lowered. Harishchandra along with army sitting in chariot, attacked on heradavi(forest).

 

In that gondaranya(forest)  jaala,banyan,amla,red nelli,hale,ankole,dinda,thandarasa,arali,bela,jack,lava,nandi, sandal(chandana),kakke,bikke, banni,hone, orange,hebbale, jadumbara,thumbura,coconut,areca(koungu), kedage,kasali,panasu,thaari, dates(kharjura), mango,neem- excetra trees, had grown densely. In forest where dark had filled like night,at few places while forest fire was burning,,what is this,is it  dark covered  black serpents(kalsasarpa) house, spark spit by  irritation of badabagni(sea fire),  Hara’s arrow burning  thripura,or fire fallen kajal’s(kadige) hill, as though it was appearing.  That forest where seen shivaful,shivamaya, shivaful,shikhimaya,shikhimaya, shikhimaya(dshikhiful)!shuksmaya,shukamaya, shukamaya,! Flow from mountain(girisanu), flowing waer harimaya,harimaya, harimaya(hariful)! All madhumaya.madhumaya,madhumaya,! Hunter’s banamaya,banamaya,banamaya(arrowfdul)! Apart from this forest(severe forest) like gods sabha(meet,function),like munisabha,like snake player, was with koushika. Like pandava bhavana(mansion), like eye, like  moon light, like show off arjuna, gods meet(surasabhe),like intoxicated elephant,,like cloud vroindarakonnathi!

Eberywhere fearful nooise rised.  Walking sound,calling sound,bow sound, hit sound,scolding tone, shouting sound, pierced sound, breaking sound, cutting(thariva) sound, responding tone, thitthiri’s sound, drum sound,  animals roaring sound, screaming og birds-by these  forest was soundful.

“catch,peacock,,pierce tiger, chase deer  group, allow dog on pig,hit wolf, make elephant to fall(fell elephant), beat he bufello(kona),make lion to recede back, throw net, “ like this by hunters  shout forest  ghilittithu(trumpeted).

 Hunterd by their  weapons,by nets, by fdogs, killed animals and birds  I n innumerable numbers.harshchandra  by his arm strength  lion excetra cruel animals,animals which give troubles to crops killed..seing skill of hunters how they hunt, Gouthamaranya, krouncharanya, cave forests  excetra ,entering these, hunting, came near kishkinde. There looking big shaped monkies ,taking rest,,within a short time hunters came and joinmed. They seing king”jiya, In this region we found one wonder. For sake of hunting which we have tamed  oxes ,tigers,lions, hesitated without hunting. Tiger which ewas capable of  breaking  tiger fearing to deer, was keeping quiet. Lion which can kill salaga(male elephant), seing one ordinary elephant  hesitated.  To cut strong  lion  capable ox(sharabha) observing lion  feared! What shall we say about this wonder/. As though fire becoming cool,poison becoming Amritha,as though Sun has become cool  it became! Csauuse should be verified.”like this requested.

 

“This is peculiar only!”telling like this  Harishchanfra on contineuing journey,,  having Bhasma applied parts ,jata wearer,one munishwara  appeared.Wearing tiger’s  skin cloth,,shining like sun,, that muni, sitting in middle of  rushies family, was thinking about yajna. Around  grown tender mango,in middle one  jasmine mantap.While thin air was coming  In holy pulina place spread Ashoka Tree’s leaves gadduge(stage),on  sitting  muninatha  was shining like direct parameshwara. as though politeness has  human form,,as though peace has worn  form, as though Sadguna vow  weared muni dress, as liberation carrying jsatadhara9shiva), punya applying Bhasma(sacred ash)  has appeared,,as though veda has learnt to talk, appearing seing that muni, Harishchandra became joyful. He with joy came forward ,doing namaskarams”maharshi, I came for hunting. Our animas without killing  even single animal , are hesitating. What is the cause of this?’told. then munishwara answered like this.”king, do you know which is this place?  Having presence of Worldguru(jagadguru) virupakshaswamy, pampakshethra! All veda upanishths are residing here  by praising virupaksha. This is source of anima excetra astasiddhies(eight accomplishments). Dharma purusha is residing hre. This is place of jnanaprabha(knowledge brightness)lamps. Vishnu brahma excetra gods are guarding(protecting)  this piligrimage(kshethra). This is residence of chathurvidha (four kinds of) purusharthas. This place punya group. Residence place of  Lakshmi Saraswathi. See that side. This is Hemakuta. What is seen there is mathanga mountain.  In this direction is Malyavantha. In east direction kinnaresha,s in south Bukkeshwara,,in west somanatha,in north vanibhadra,-these four are  four doors of pampa piligrimage,  In this piligrimage no chance for anger of yamadhuthas(yama messengers)! This is order of virupaksha swamy,Harishchandra..See this Thungabhadra river.  By this river’s darshan(vision) only , family seed gets destroyed.  This is power cutting sins. Scissor to neck of bad karmas. This is edge cutting all diseases. To middle head of ignorance saw,diging pregnancy of maya  shula9sharp weapon). Spark burning  sins.”told like this.

 

 Then Harishchandra “mahathma(great soul), You solved my doubt. What is the name pf punyathma  who got you?” like this asked. That munishwara ‘king, to vasista maharshi who is shining  like second parameshwara,I am grand son. My name is parashara! Told like this. Harishchandra  with joy covered with devotion”Aha! I came to lotus feet of my guru only!Suranaroraga  namitha charana  jaya jaya, dayabharana jaya jaya, kripavarana jaya jaya, Shanthi kirana jaya jaya  vigatha marana jaya jaya,  durithaharana jaya jaya,  guru kula guru  paraguruve, gahanagurive, madguruve, Sadguruve, ,Sharanagu sharanagu!”telling like this , at the feet of Parashara muni,  charana sarasijadedeyalli,  spreading body, did sastanga pranama. Tears of joy spilled  out from  from joy tears of Harshchandra  body got excited.  Hand shook. Slight laugh flashed, parashara muni  lifting up king making to sit,stroking body,  with love”cgild,  Harishchandra  where you are?where this forest?  For what cause you came here?” like thi asked.to that Harishchandra  in state trouble og birds and animals became more Citizens came and cried. Therefore I came for hunting”told. Thrikalajna that rushi,  knowing wicked plan of vishwamithra  by  knowledge vision came to know.  In mind’what is suitable to do  now? Cruel   natured vishwamithra , to trouble Harishchandra  has become stubborn.

After knowing this matter  how not to inform to king? If informed it will be chaadi(slander).It is not wrong  to teach favour to disciple. Without informing bad intention of  Vishwamithra directly,,the disaster which comes to him  is to be told in another wayslander)  if not informed  wicked which is going to come  is like granting.A situation of  ikkattu( dilemma) is obtained!what shall I do like this became worried. Later regarding Harishchandra “appa,Harishchandra  I want to tell  a word to you. Next there is vishwamithra muni’s Ashrama is there.  In any situation don’t go there. If you  have devotion in me,,if you decided not to leave kulachara(family bahavior),,if there is firmness that  bad fame should come to earned good fame, If there is boldness that   break  should not happen to  your truth sincerity(truthfulness),-should not go there. Vishwamitha will trouble in many ways.   Let this fact be known)” telling like this, carried king for darshan of Virupaksha.

 

 Harishchandra went behind parashara muni.  Showing bhaskara thirtha of Yhungabhadra,  It is equal manikarnika of  kashi ,in rudrapada presence   to dedicate pinda  gves more fruits .Like this muni told. He took bath there  and did pithru shradLater parashara  carrying hariahchandra forward s showing different plces “Harishchandra  inthis mountain brahma,Vishnu,Indra -excetras have performed penance. There are lingas and lakes established brahma excetras. To that place to Ganga flows and comes   to that place name pathala ganga is given. See there. That nis place where  hara burnrt  manmatha into ashes “telling like this, reached pampambika temple. All did namaskarams to  goddess(devi).”Harishchandra  statue which killed mahishasura”. In markandeya purana(epic)  this is head of rudra power it is praised. Parvathi in this place by name pamoambike, in kashi as Vishalakshi,in Kanchi as  Kamakshi  has got name and resided.telling like this,  brought  to presence of Virupaksha. Harishcandra  standing bending hread with devotion  in front of virupaksha”cause of creation,maintainance,destruction  of world, thrahi mam(protect me) destroyer of  sins of devotees, thrahi mam,dharma(religion) form ox riser, thrahi mam, getting namaskarams done by  Indra fire excetra  thrahi mam, kalpavriksha   of devotees desires, thrahi mam,Sri guru virupaksha  thrahi mam”telling like this, sid sastanga namaskarams. Later to worship  pampambike and virupaksha, determing lik this made to bring worship materials.s with maharudrabhisheka  worshiping god, along with all instrument players, lifting  dhuparathi,  offering naivedya, giving campher thambula , did rathna arathi. Later Harishchandra  for love of pravathi huband ,calling brahmins, gave donation  freely.

 

Again talking about him,”hey dvijothamas ,among anga,vanga,kalinga countries  I will dedicate any country  to you. You can reside there.’told. then brahmins””king, leaving thungabhadra bank we will not come anywhere.’told like this. Later Harishchandra  one village of that region(province)  for service of virupaksha swamy  giving datthi, making to write shasana(legislature) like that,”viprotthamas, you bless me in presence  of virupaksha.  Worshiping   shiva worship  daily  make my sin to move away”like this requested. Afterwards did namaskarams to  virupaksha linga again again.Those vipras(brahmins)  blessing king gave manthrakshathe.harshchandra silled with joy “today I became blessed. My birth is blessed. The hunting which I have  undertaken,  making to cross ocean of family , brought near guru’s feet. Made to see virupaksha swamy. “joining to frre work  found capital.’this proverb became  true” telling like this all of them thanked.

Harshchandra doing namaskarams to  parashara muni,,doing namaskarams to virupaksha, getting send off from all, rising chariot   went for  further hunting. His family relatives(parivara)  following king, went trough forest. On this side koushika muni creating one  msaya pig  sent to place where king was hunting. When hunter army was rushing forward and fighting  in forest ,  they saw severes (big) shaped pig. Like thunderbolt spark it’s  eye was throwing. As though joining two  pieces of Brahmsthra , dade teeth(kore hallu,canine teeth). Diamond shell like ear. Sundi(…..: like plough of Balarama. Hairs  like arrows in the hands of death. Yama’s kona(he bufelo) wearing  face of pig,  as though has come,  there fearful sukara(pig), hunters found.  Suddenly”hit hit,cut cut    pierce pierce,!”  like this  sounding ghadi ghadi  when hunters army covering, without considering them,  that pig saw with angle of eye(end eye).

 Listening noise of hunters, spreading leaves, present those demons   pig suddenly  getting swollen, bouncing jumping  ,roaring, rising up, attacked them(okkalikku). Making forest to shake ghuda ghuda  by it’s canine(kore) teeth  making hunters to fall,,killing.cutting,rushed forward with force. Hunters without knowing what to do(digbhrame) , dispersed and ran away.  Again all of them joining together s ,allowing dogs to chase, from all four directios covered(attacked) one pig. That pin went insde bamboo mele and hided. All around dogs attacked.  Hided pig coming out within some time  like thunderbolt,  attacked hunters army. Dogs chased on both sides. Hunters poured rods  on pig without gap. but what?  Maya pig sent by vishwamithra did not  consider  anything.  Like an irritated lion killing elephant   like garuda(eagle) killing serpents,s that pig killing killing kirathas  threw. Cut dogs and threw. Pig which got tired by fight  sighing(breathlessly), spitting foam in mouths, ,resting for some time, again attacked on army.  Diging womb(uterus,) of soldiers ,  drinking hot blood,  biting back bone,  sqeezing guts(intestitines), avadi(……?) river(stream), getting tired, spreading nostrils,  breathing,swinging, in one bush hided. In that bush a hunter was hiding!

That demonish pig  when it was running towards bush was seen, what to describe about bad condition of  hunter!  By pierce of thorn laming steps, broken knee, cught by plsnt  detached  fallen dress, sighing(breathless)  chest sides(pakkes),-without counting these I spooiled!”shouting like this  he ran away! While running on the path a man  asked’why are you running? Did tiger chase you?’ on asking like this Hu Hu Hu not tiger pig!)told. He on asking’where it is show’’you only se!’ telling like this, that hunter ran away  without stoping.

Shaking hands and legs,crying(hicuping) chest, dried mouth, blossomed nose(spreaMahishasura,,like this doubt is coming!” told like this.oned nose) , feared face, spread head,non running knee  due to fall,- in this condition, with explosion running coming hunter Harishchandra saw. Obstructing him on enquiring why is he running, that hunter’king, I found a fearful pig. Adivaraha(source pig) which killed  Hiranyaksha,purahara broken trunk(sondilu)  gajasura, due to hit of durgi  lost  horn of  mahishasura,like this I am doubting!” like this told.  king”what ayya,will  not there be  one fattened grown pig in this forest?fearing for that you are running?by it what is the loss happened to shabara(hunter)?” asked like this. Then shabara(hunter)”lord,it is not ordinary pig. It killed our army. Cut dogs and threw. I can’t describe it’s kind”like this lamented.

 

 At that time other shabaras also came there. On telling trouble given by pig, Harishchandra with anger,climbing chariot,’show that pig’ asking like this walked. Shabaras followd him and showd  bush in which pig was hidden. Allowing hunting dogs v,making to rush, surrounding pig  shouted. Within a moment  from bush thunderbolt sounded. Severe(fearful) pig  came with noise ghuda ghuda ,exploding, coming opposing shabara group,  cut and threw. Cart filled with sharp weapons  like running forcefully in banana garden  it was! Death form pig  bu bud of rubbing(sharpening) canine teeth(kore hall)  spitting spark,,emiting smoke from nose, from red eye  emiting flame, erecting romavali,,twisting tail, emiting rudra anger, rotating, flowing,getting irritated,  Cut shabara army.,broke,teared,drilled, ate! As dark sees sun, saw Harishchandra with little eye! Seing the kind of killing of shabara  angry Harishchandra ,lifting up bow,responding hede(bow thread), adopted a strong rod(arrow). As though is sacrificing to death god,goaling pig(targeting pig)

 That  kurgane(….?)  ecchanu(….?). As hara became angry with smara(kama) ,as sun is irritated by night,  on pig angry Harishchandra  left(shooted) rod,entering  rolling  whirl of gut(intestine), tharala  minded  pig  suffereing again reached forest. Feared pig spreading  land  breaking trees coming opposite, cutting bamboo meles , pit,,hill-gahats, sadu-daru, ponds,,nooks and corners   rushed and ran. Harishchandra chased it.  That pig without caught  ,showing now and the, as though caught by hit of sword,,acting,getting tired, ,getting tired, without firm intellect ,appearing as though standing, ran forward ran forward.

 

 Harishchandra without considering  (counting)tiredness , from behing making chariot to run,  went. In speed deer is higher than all other animals. Than deer,than vayu  srrow, ,than arrow  vision(dristi) ,than vision  mind is  high in speed.

Chariots ans horses cdossing mind speed  were running. But they could not catch pig.  After going for long distance  pig dis appeared in forest.  Harushchandra got bored(tired) by searching it.  Getting tired from thirst and hunger  while going forward , one penance garden appeared.

 

 Rushies  sitting in padmasana(lotus position)  were indulged in  severe penance.  On body of few huttha(snake house) had grown.   Snakes and rats were moving on body.  Their weight had  got down into esarth. Dried up bodied those munies   had indulge in penance since    long time. Few muni kumaras (boys) eating  roots and tubers(gedde genasu),,plucking flowers, correcting krishnajina, ,threading rudrakshi, washing silk clothes, twisting mounji(janivara,holy thread),,forming yajnopavitha , preparing Bhasma(sacred ash),,bringing samitthus, were there. On seing them Harishchandra  joined hands with politeness. In that penance garden  Harishchandra few  wonders. With lions elephants had slept(laid down). Deers were probing tigers with their hhorns.,serpents keeping head on mumgooses(mungusi) were playing with peacock. Kid  der  was plaing with  dogs.rats were chsing wild cats! On seing these with wonder  Harishchandra walked forward.On one side veda recital(veda ghosha), enquiry of upanishaths meaning, ,epics lectures, ,on another side logic(tharka) excetra scriptures verification .At another place sthothra teaching, sgiva worship,  Bsll sound.In oyner place   continuously running   Homa excetra  kriyas(works)  svahasvadhakara. Where ever seen bent trees due to  burden of fruits , shining tender creepers  leaves,.In clear pond grown  lotus kairava  fragrance.coolness of cool air.

Looking that thapovana(penance garden)  minister Sathyakirthi ,requested Harishchandra like this .This is better place  to take rest”. Then Harishchandra got down from chariot  with his wife and son. Making tired horses to drink water, making body to wash, put cut tender grass in front. At that time  making to  gt down at distance, soldiers who followed him, Harishchandra with minister  getting down  in clean water pond ,drinking water ,on bank spreading tender budded leaves,  and took rest. Tasting Thambula(paan) ,parrot flying around, cuckoo, pigeon, swan, peacock  saw and enjoyed. Talking with minister “This punyaful thapovana  belongs to which maharshi, Mahadeva only knows! Due to peaceful character of that mahathma, moon may take birth1 By charithra  ganga, bu brightness of penance sun, by whirling cool air, by melody of  words amritha, by courtesy kalpavriksha,-will not remain without taking birth.!”told. like this when  were resting with joy, a muni came there.s Seing him” whose ashrama?” on asking like this, that muni “This is vishwamithra muni’s ashrama “like this told. Harishchandra  fearing as though treading snake,”Ayyo! I crossed guru’s order, what is condition!” like this became worried.”worshiping shiva,,conducting yagas(sacrifices) ,speaking truth, giving donations, maintain country,behaving accrding to kulachara(family tradition),worshiping munijanas,listening various epics stories, earnes punya mass  due to crossing order of guru  vanished. In became sinner.guru sadashiva,guru wife is Parvathi, guru son’s are Ganapathi shanmukhas, guru’s friends are pramatha ganas(groups), Guru’s house is shiva temple, Guru’s words are panchakshari manthra,.guru smarane itself is shiva smarane(remembrance),guru’s satisfaction  is shiva’s satisfaction.-like this believed punyathma, how much blessed he is!to me who crossed guru’s words  there may not be without loss’like this Harishchandra s got upset. Then minister “king,if guru’s words are vcrossed intentionally then there will be defect.but work done due  to ignorance  is not sin bringing”told.

To that haeishchandra “if tread with ignorance will not thorn prick?”sasked like this.Minister’greatlord(mahaprabhu), we have not visited vishwamithra muni. We shall leave  penance gadern now only and go”told. Harisgchandra “minister, what you are telling is right. Though I have come to thapovana  I have gone without seing him.for this he may get angry”on telling like this,”mahaswamy ,what is to be done by cursing? Then crossing grur’s order  to go like this only  is better’like this, sathyakirthi answered. Harishchandra though in midst of lasses, it is not extraordinary   to not to undergo  kama vikara(kama change). Though in heaven world, to live as jithendriya is not great.To speak is hard(severe) vow(vratha). By grace of guru enough if this one  remains firm. I won’t count any other thing.minister if I remain here or go bad is not avoided”telling like this, covered by sorrows  wife chandramathi ‘s thigh keeping head  slept.

 To sorrowful Harshchanfra  nothing was needed. Worry that he has crossed guru’s order  only was troubling.while sleeping like that ,as slight sleep came he found a dream.He suddenly got up and saw around. His face dried up. Mouth has dried up.  Vision had feared.Bofy was shaking. Chest was vibrating.  Chandramathi  without knowing what to do ,removing dristi(vision) from her hand bangle,stroking body consoling,  regarding  husband “Sarya son,In dhura(……..?) making to fear enemy kings,making to shake,valient  you are.Why are you shaking now?”like this spoke softly. Harishchandra  “I was sitting in durbar hall on throne in middle.  A muni came with anger excitement , making to fall durbar hall pillars,throwing away golden kalashas(holy vessels),

,in gathered meet  pulled and  made  me fall from throne.s later he pulled and carried away throne.  Then one crow sitting on my chest  was shouting kar. Later I entered  a rathna fixed palace  which was shining on peak of mountain.  Chandramathi ,What might be it’s meaning?”told.chandramathi,”beloved, for that this much sorrow?  Found in dream muni means Vishwamithra! Later found  troubles   due to his stubbornness, short time trouble which may happen to you.

If not afraid of that what happens it indicates high post(padavi) you getting entry of palace on the peal of mountain. This is true. I will tell you another  word. Avadharisu(…….?). When enquired  I feel like this. As you hace crossed guru’s order  this wicked happens. King,don’t be angry.I join hand and request. What ever may come, let  your truth vow(Sathya vratha) be firm. To me,to my son,to minister,to state, to four part army(chathuranga sene), to all treasury,to city,to all family relatives ,-any disaster may come, Don’t leave truth. On seing pig,vishwamithr’s anger  Enflamed bhugil. Chanting slipped.penance reduced. Intellect gone.Kindness crossed. Ethics feared. Remembering all what happened previously, burning up,’ caught that king.I will no leave without making him to cry(trouble).’like this shouted. By his humkara two  young lasses  took birth(appeared)..Much anger,stong (bound)venemity, causeless enemity-these are dirt to muni. By these three nimitthi (causes) only those lasses(mothers) took birth out of these nimitthies only,they became  dirty lasses.These standing at distance”Muni,which is order to us?”like this asked. vishwamithra told””to this penance garden Harishchandra has come.using your intellect skill  make hi mad!” ordered like this.

 

In curley hairs of those females wickedness,fickleness in eyes,in breasrs hardness, in waist thinness(shithilathe), secrecy in acting, laghava(shaking) in breath,in nithamba(hip) fatness pride, disease (jadya) in walk(gait), madness in laugh, curvedness in words-were present. As these bad charecters were there they became calledholathies! Bad charecters will  not spoil whose family!Shyamala(black or dark blue) coloured  two lasses ,Yamini who came to see  daughters, When gods and demons churned sea, born from poisonous smoke, blackened water gods, Brahma constructed with neelamani(blue bead) statues  as though have worn life charm(jivakale) and come, shining  came near Harishchandra. Those maya lasses seing Harishchandra,”Raya jaga jatti majha bapu! Raya bhuja bala bhima, Raya mardana raya,! Jiya sthiranjiva!”praising like this, started to sing with melodious voice. Ther mind was very manojna (heart touching,mind blowing).  Beats rhythm bound, on sining in hifh and low  tones to Harishchandra happiness appeared. Tiredness of chasing pig, upset for having come to ashrama of Vishwamithra,  worry of having crossed order of parashara muni,  fear of bad dream, -all these receded backward. He with pleasant mind,  to those youths who are singing queens, gave his ornaments as prize. Heroines without getting satisfied  told like this.

Singers:king,what is use  at the time of poverty  I elephant is got?Niradasirda( at the time of thirst…….?) what is use if state is got?While suffering from disease if Rambhe is got what is the use? At the time of death what is earth’s lordship is got?to one who has fallen in sea boat(theppa),gold to severe poor ,to patient if amritha is given ,with how much joy they will accept it .Remember this. Due to this burning burning sun light  heat(sweat) who are desirous of  you,give your kiss  with respect sand protect!

 

Harishchandra: On the day of throne ceremony of  Ravikula generation,if satthige(respect,devotion) is not there,there is no kingship. Enemies who have found this run away in war field. Near king who is in it’s base, troubles,poverty,ill fame, defeats,will not come near. Knowing this is it possible to give  white umbrella(shvethacchathra)?

Heroines: What can be given  anybody will giveWhat is more in that?To give what is needed is king’s  greatness.

Harishchandra: What to beg?Will beggers mouth tear? Who is lord who gives all requesta(requirements)?

Heroines:emperor, will not shibi and dadhichi  give all what was begged?

Harishchandra: Giving with joy ,renunciation(thyaga) intellect is different. Donations given by knowing suitability  is different. Bali excetras gave with donation mind.

Heroines:king give your donation with satthige(respect,devotion) only with donation intellect only!

Harishchandra :Not so, You have praised me by singing and made me to like. As prize I have given.This is renunciation. Intentionally  to know eligibility of  requesters  is donation. There is difference between renunciation and  donation there is difference. If given to people like you  it will be helpful. If given to great soul like vishwamithra it becomes  Aradhane(worship).

Singers: We are gadikathies(……..?)!king, without doubt if you give satthige(respect,devotion)  is given  you will get fame!

Haishchandra: With renunciation intellect all can be given.,may be left. But fathers  and mothers,hand bheld wife,worshippsble god, serving with  lord’s devotion  army relatives, renunciating bold people are not there in thia world!

Singers: We have not asked things which you have told! We asked satthige(respect,devotion).

Harishchandra: This satthige(respect,devotion) itself is  my  mother father! As it gives coolness of shadow it is mother, as it has come from heritage(parampare)  it is father!A thing not to be given to other ,so wife, As it is worshiped at the time of throne ceremony, this is worshipable god, In warfield  as it makes enemies to shake. This satthige only is my army relation!, Those who beg such svethacchathra  are  are mad,it is to be told.

Singers:king,knowing that you are world famous donater  with desire we came to you. Will you make our  prayer fruitless(useless)?do you make us leave long sigh, and to pity! If you can’t give satthige marry us!

 

 On hearing vtheir words, harisgchandra got irritated by anger..”Abba! at the time of birth of this world only, born ancient Sun family  kings we are1In family,in fame,,in shoulder strength becoming equal to us ,kings who come to give brides, till now are not born in this world!

 When it is so these holathies, have come and telling  We will become your wives.’they are telling.! Is this kala mahime(greatness of time).,or greatness of this land! See see!’ like this shouted.

Singers: king, giving holy milk  cows udder’s  flesh better/ Housefly which produces sweet honey  is it better? Mriganabhi(navel of animal)  whivh gives kasthuri  is it higher? Milk excetras  thinking as having better charecters, will you not dedicate to god? When there is character defect should not be counted. When there is beauty and youth in us why talk of kula(family,caste)!

Harishchandra:s yes,yes, if bath room water is clean  is it fit for bath?Is dog’s milk fit for drinking? In you who are holathies,pride of youth,,bauty,,if cleverness are there will you become touchables/shiva shiva ! these are dirty words!

 

Singers: Ear which has heard song has no breasts ,no hole. Mouth which  does not praises by talk,   no hole! Eye which has seen beauty no hole! Coming air from  by  body and head(knot)  to nose which inhales  fragrance no hole! Sis touching skin became hole? Among five senses  four  becoming low,one became  high?

 

Harishchandra: to which which is comparable? Eyes excetra sense organs are  at distance and will not touch? What a talk of stubbornness it is! If kenda(burning charcoal) if touched  will burn,if seen -if smelled  will they burn? You don’t trouble. Go away from here! Better people should not see low  women.,though seen should not talk, though talked should not be honoured. Though honoured  should not call and give.In spite of this, honouring you,if prize is given ,tou are speaking non acceptable  words?

Singers:king, due to sin we took birth in bd family. Holding you hands who are high born we came to get purified!

Harishchandra: king, for your sake shall I spoil my family?

Singers:king,why your family(caste) will get destroyed? To Ganga river which washes sins of sinners, is there any application  ogf sin?

Harishchandra:s kuladharma is not of this kind? To spoil one pot of milk  how much sour is needed?

Singers:King,to talk to talk Is not suitable .Your fame,valience,beauty,youth,good charecters(virtues),on hearing  getting mad ,losing intellect came near you. To help(treat)  those who have come  is it not your religion? You should become my husband! We will follow you without leaving back!

Harishchandra:what to come and do?In my servent class there are many holeyas!

Singers:May be! We will try to mke you like us  become mad.If you won’t accept ,in all nooks and corners of country  we will  wander and blame and announce you.

 

Harishchandra with anger and took whip to hand! Minister took another whip. Both of them joined together  and beated them with whip well.Maya lasses shouting crying  suffering  ran towards Vishwamithra. His knot was spread.tears were pouring. Dress were lose,,blood had flowd,Chest had shook .

Again looking back,running, coming feared eyed  those females  coming in front of leaf hut(parnashale). Listening to their tone, koushika muni came outside. Those females”muni, we went near Harishchandra as per your order. On asking ’who are you?’ like this he on asking ‘ we are from house of vishwamithra muni  who is like second parameshwara!we told. Then king beated us with his own hands. We have not done any crime.sending us you made us to get beats!” like this lamented. Vishwamithra “don’t cry,my mind desire fulfilled!”told.

Their eyes spread spark, mustach hairs burnt becoming ash, Stiff words  spitted flames He  came to place where Harishchandra was there.Harishchandra showing  muni to chandramathi,”beloved,see there, Fruit of crossing guru’s order  and meaning of my dream  are getting body and coming! What happens in future parameshwara only knows!” telling like this ,  welcoming muni dedicating valuble rathnas as gift, fell to his feet. Vishwamithra  hit king and  shouted and blamed.Harishchandra told like this with politeness.

Harishchandra:Maharshi,  Due to god’s worship and feet service of nmahathmas(great souls) – as fruit of these, I had daeshan of your lotus feet. This is indication of my good work.I am blessed. If I thank you with joy  you hit me. Your soft feet pained. Touch bead statue even if hit becomes gold!

 

Ishwamithra: due to you do you think(know) my leg only has pained?my mind,intellect,chittha,  excetra all senses got pained!Which ever wickedness is present do and finish. You are talking of another wickedness of Cheating!

Harishchandra:swamy(lord), Which wickedness I did?

Vishwamithra: In our ashrama vayu(air) god  fears to blow wind(storm).Devendra fears to pour rain here and there, Sun fears to emit  burning sun light, forest fire(davagni) will not cross border  and come in, yama’s servents  can’t keep their steps inside Ashrama. In spite of knowing this  ,you in order to insult me  rushing into penance garden  have come and put camp.is it not?

Harishchandra : To see guru and to donamaskarams  disciple will come to guru’s temple(house). This is due to punya desire. When like this what is rushing coming adventure?

Vishwamithra:obedience in speech,,in behavior  stealing (abduction) of all things(sarvasva). Danger to guru’s prana only! By this  valience which punya you will get? What kind of discipleship is? By advicing to kings ,bringing wealth  I have not filled in this Ashrama! Leaving enemity  wandering with joy  this animals group, in all seasons  carrying bending fruits these tree mass, never drying up these lakes- These only are my all. Piercing,breaking, drinking  shining  is it not all  things(sarvasva) abduction(stealing) is it not?

Harishchandra:muni, How if you talk with anger only?pierced animal,,broken tree, drunk and dried up  showd and told”what do you say for this?pond   which I have done?

 

Then vishwamithra  shouting Previously broken  fallen at some time one tree,,one dried up pond,wounded from arrow of Harishchandra  one pig  “what do you say for thi?’roaring told like this.

Vishwamithra: In past  who shined from  pride of treasure, like Durvasa muni who dipped in water, I will do! King did you made to  grow enemity  with me? Know that you have grown enemity  with forehead fire of Hara! All your camp  killing making to shout  burning neighbours keep bottu(tikli)! Do you know who I am?

Harishchandra:Mahathma,you yourself only  who can do creation,maintainance,destruction  putting mistake on me blaming is it possible to avoid by me? Iam an insect playing in cradle of your kindness. I am all criminal.o father,grace,leaving kindness don’t get excited.

 

Telling like this  Harishchandra kept his head on feet of S that muniand did namaskarams.Again maharshi only,by doing namaskarams to guru desiring to go disciple should be excused. You who are knowing all if you show  virasa how?”told.

Vishwamithra:Let this wickedness be away. Why did you hit my lovely  daughters?As they are abales(weak)  you have beaten so as to dieHey,giving hand in mouth of severe(fearful) serpent  have tried to break  dade(kore teeth)!

Harishchandra:Yes I have beaten these women true.I don’t say I have not beaten.

Vishwamithra:good! Without knowing who they are I have beaten.you have not told this formality words also!Apart from beating ‘beated!’ like this you are telling me only.You have cut nose and showing in mirror?Do you think I am poor  man who is your subordinate?Hey,king,like holding tiger’s mustache and shaking you have done!

Harishchandra: Rushi,as they told that they belong to your house, I left at stage only.otherwise, drilling their nose  tieing negilu(plough) I would have ploughd land!

Vishwamithra: Which mistake did they do?

Harishchandra: Maharshi,what shall I say? They complled to give my white umbrella to them. Otherwise you have to become our husband they told.If I won’t accept for that  that they will  go to each corner of country  bleming me,they will blame and spread.like this they told.

Vishwamithra:As you are king  and might rasika(elegant) also  they might have asked you.Is it a big crime?

Harishchandra: Will king give his white umbrella to anybody?will I marry holathues?

Vishwamithra:’not possible’you might have told For that will you beat  them in this way?

Harishchandra:They told that they will bring bad name to  me in country  by blaming like this they announced. For that vwickedness  I beated them.

Vishwamithra: What to beat? I will cut beated hands! On my behalf if people turn, will burn country only!To save country if that muni comes I will hide his pride.If gods come to save him, I will destroy the! Do you don’t know my ability?Vasista Irritating me  the troubles which he faced has he not told you?

Harishchabdra:anger,cruelty(severeity),noin truth leaving all these  earning animal kindness  you have become brahmarshi. You only getting burnt,killing munies,,vanishing three worlds,squeeze  gods,as king of this country  myself who is ‘durula(wicked)kshathriya’ can I do so?

 

Vishwamithra:Do you make fun? Don’t  make fun (levadi) of me.After doing this  Next I will see how you will do your kingship. I will come and trouble where ever you go,where ever you enter. If you live you can know!

 

Telling like this koushika muni became angry. In world wicked person’s cruelty is severe. Rather than that cruelty forest fire is more.Than thunderbolt is severe.,than thunderbolt  sea fire(badabagni),than this pralaya(total destruction)  time fire,than that  Rudras forehead eye is  is more cruel.Than forehead eye of Rudra  anger of koushika muni  became more cruel!

 

Knowing  stiffness of his anger Harishchandra “this anger is cruel It will not reduce. It is not suitable to pride.”thinking like this “Mahathma,I did mistake without knowing.father”told like this. Along with wife and son did dirghadanda namaskarams  on land.

 

Vishwamithra:Without even a little hesitation,rushing into my ashrama,campingdoing thousand mistakes ,beating my children  so as to die, again blaming me byfunny)(levadi) words ,,now if tou tell”excuse me father” will I leave? Son! Will I leave without drtlling your horn?

Harishchandra: Maharshi,In world cruels,lows,wicked people, also if told’sharanu’will leave enemity.When it is so,As sarvasanga parithyagies(retired from all bondages)  getting called mahathma in beging me will you not show kindness?

Vishwamithra: Marry my daughters ,I wll leave angers.

Vishwamithra:king,you only are guru,you only shiva, will be as you keep, will follow your words ‘ like this speaking big words of politeness  Immedeately you will break my order! What politeness is this?

 

Harshchandra: can you give non religious oder of marrying holathies?shall I follow it?

 Vishwamithra:Guru makes various kinds of orders.Among them I will do what I like,what nis not wanted I will leave!”if told like this which kind of guru devotion it is?

Harshchandra: To know the maturity (moderateness) of mind  you have ordered like this, did not speak these words heartfully.

Vishwamithra:not like thatI did not tell  to know maturity(moderateness,hada) of your mind.I have told geartfully only. In this matter no doubt.Marry them.

Then Harishchandra taking biurth in high family,for sake of chandala females I am not ready to go to hell/.Don’t give such order telling like this joined hands.

 

Vishwamithra:King walking in path of vedas,,leaving false,leaving pride,though left greed, at end hell is not avoided!This is fixed. When many causes are added for hell,is this one more? To filled cart wikk one mora(winnowing fan)  is it heavy?

Harishchandra:to all kins ruling earth if hell is fixed, myself alone shall I say  no? but intensionslly  behaving with wickedness,,making company of holathies, I don’t want to roll in severe (fearful) hell!Munies like you  To us “worship shiva, do donations and religions,honour bhusuras(brahmins),maintain state well,do yajnas, leave Agraharas,serves maharshies, protect oephans,keep away wickeds,don’t leave truth,follow better family behaviors,”without advising like this,you are telling”join holathies!”.

 

Vishwamithra: Why do you call those holathies  holathies? Myself who delivered them  is holeya.your openion!

 

Hsarshchandra:Munishwara, If an ash applied man is scolded is it like scolding shiva? Reflecting on holageri water  Sun can he be called holeya? Competing with brahma,who can create all life masses,you,, thinking as father of those women,,will you  see like ordinary man?You spoke without knowing moderateness(hada).

Vishwamithra:Harishchandra ‘ in whole earth   fame,very among  sun family who is world eye, all king of kings such Hsarishchandra e,eror,married children of vishwamithra muni’,mean I will get honour in world.Brightness comes! Provide that I will join hands and request.

 

‘Hara hara sadashiva Mahadeva!’telling like this  Harishchandra closing his both ears,”who are getting namskaams done by  all munishwaras ,you, joining hands to me  are you desiring to send me to hell/maharshi,whet is this?”told. vishwamithra “by joining hands to you,let there be deficiency to  my greatness,Provide one this thejas to me’like this told.

harishchandra: in this wat if you trouble, ,I will give all my state,but this request will be not fulfilled.

Ishwamithra:let it become so! All listen. Harshchandra is king of donaters!sarhyavathamsa! Harishchandra has given all state  to me.Like this I will make to announce.

IMMEDEATELY VISHWAMITHRA   CALLING HIS DESCIPLES, told in his ashrama festoons(thoranas) are to be tied. There will be procession of donater harshchandra  sent words! Harshchandra keeping figure on nose  as digbhrantha(not able to know what to do),told like this.

 

Harishchandra: For which reason you are doing procession  to me?

Vishwamithra: “Now only you have told that you will give all state to me is it not? Are you talking of teaching?”

Harishchandra:”I will give all state but I can’t fulfil your request’I told.That I will not marry them is my intension.

Vishwamithra: when You said I will give,it is like giveb only! What happens if you  turn talk now? All is my state only.

Harishchandra: As you have severe  ability to punish severely ,like this  can you sack state  from me?

Vishwamithra: if you have so much fascination  about state, marry my lasses! I will whole state as gift!

Harishchandra: Along with this state,,though my body,this wife,this son – all these  are missed I will not marry chandala lasses. I am not ready to drown clean Raghukula in water. You did not see my mind’s depth. Munishwara,I join hands and request  don’t rise the topic again and again .s

Visgwamithra: To one who knows bottom root,  should one say by showing leaf?if you marry holathies will your  family spoil?Hey! do  I don’t know defect of your family?

Harshchandra: to show defect in  my family not possible by brahma and shiva.

Vishwamithra:oho! Then listen, due to curse of vasista my father Thrishanku was holeya!He was state corrupt.Who uplifted him powerful is myself. For other whom it is possible to lift up? To me who removed  dirt of curse only ,as per my order is it not possible to remove  dirt which comes from marrying according to  my order?

 

Harishchandra:my father did not do any sinful karma. When he  started to do yaga(sacrifice)  due to curse there was  a defect(deficience) produced. This can’t be compared with that. To marry holathi and to becom chandala which justice(ethics)?I won’t agree.

Vishwamithra:  Is it so!  I will not leave without making chandala.

Harishchandra:Carryinmg esarth only when it becomes angry and vibrates, when sky explodes(hits),when breath itself  pierces body, when breast itself drinks milk, when pot itself eats  food,-who can do what?  You  who has to bless and protectif you only give curse with anger, then who can protect? Let those words be there, Let curse come,let ill fame  come-Harishchandra king will not move in non religious path.

 

Vashwamithra:Rightmright,If you are not fearing to  curses also will you bend to  false? In family which does not know false only you  took birth as defect! Now giving state only as donation to me, you are telling ‘no’. this is not your mistake.  My mistake of believing you!

 

Harishchandra:To me illfame will not come.False wll not come from my mouth In suryavamsha these is no defect!s if you so much pride on state ,see, I have given my state to you!

Koushika muni  on seing boldness of king, liked and noded head with wonder.”how ever much angry,how ever much ppained   this king will not bend! Is it possible for me to bring out  from his mouth.?thinking like this  worried. Again remembering something in mind,”Harishchandra ,getting bored by my trouble if you only tell tht Ihave given state to youit is not enough.How is openion of your wife,children,and ministers? Make them to agree”told like this.

 

Haridhchandra:muni, is there illusion to you?is myself one not enough? Wife and children may talk anything.is it their desire? I am giving with happiness,accept.

Vishwamithra:Then donate according to rituals classically.

Harishchandra: is there need of putting aposhana  to forest burning fire?when you are taking state with challenge why dhaare?If dhaare uninturupted flow of a stream,ninterupted flow of a liquid) is not poured will you leave state to me?

Vishwamithra:I will give up .you marry my children!

Harishchandra:don’t tell bad words. I will  give ritually pour dhaare uninturupted flow of a stream,ninterupted flow of a liquid) and give.

Harishchandra saw face of minister. Them empress(queen) chandramathidevi “king, When direct parameshwara like vishwamithra is requesting, what is  situation of planning(consultation,samalochane)? Donate whole state doubtlessly. !”told.Then Harshchandra taking water  gave vall state by pouring dhaare dedicated. All gathered munies noded head.

Vishwamithra :which which you have given bu pouring dhaare?

Harishchandra:fourpart army(chaduranga sene),alltreasury,  capital,power of giving order, along with awards and medals  I have given Islands! Now leave compulsion  and grace.

Telling like this,  Harishchandra did namaskarams to feet of koushika muni. He imitating Harishchandra  with laugh”go ayya,go”told like this.

Harshchandra  I his mind”he sent me without asking my prana! Better happened” telling like this  went near his chariot.Vishwamithra  called him. Harshchandra  came near  vishwamithra  joining hands  asked“What is order?”

Muni told” when you have given all  why areyou going without giving vornaments which you are wearing?You keep tou,minister,wife,children, worn ornaments here and go”They all removed ornaments and kept in front.”keep peethambaras also which you are wearing “on telling like this,king without knowing directions  joined hands and stood sinply.Vishwamithra”for this only

Kings are mads it is told! Plan did not flash?”I will show!”telling like this, making to bring one old  cloth and saree distributed to all. Harishchandra excetra all four, without hesitating even a little  on wearing old torn clothes ,

 By his shodasha(sixteen) kales ,protecting plants and trees, charmlessly leaving sky getting down, like padya(first day of fortnight)moon  appeared. He joining hands to muni again,”shall I go father’on asking “go go” like this told with negligence.By the time he went short distance again called and told like this.

 

Vishwamithra: I have to tell a matter in my mind.you will not get angery.is it not?

Harishchandra: By knowing which I got angry?

Vishwamithra: When you did bahusuvarnayaga previously,,you gave one mass of gold  you gave as dakshine(remuneration). All I had kept with you only. Now give it and go!It is not possible to go  by retaining loan.

Harishchandra: All dakshines given to you are  safe  in  king’s treasury only.When whole treasury is given to you ,under my control  which loan money?

Vishwamithralaughing loudly) bhala! Bhala!  When you gave dhaare dakshine money also is included  in that will you tell like this?

Harihchandra:when one has given whole cart does tax is to be given?

Vishwamithra: Thogh borrower dies loan will not get cleared!By going of lordship of state will loan will also go? Thet money you have to give.

 

 On hearing words of vishwamithra who  is Cheating planning expert,dharma sincere  Harishchandra did he shrink?worried? that bold person ,muni,now there is no money with me.if you give one period  I will bring that money and give”told.

Vishwamithra:goodten days period!duration is not enough.

vishwamithra:twenty days.

Harishchandra:not possible.

 Vishwamithra:From today forty eight days! Next it is not possible to give time.

Harishchandra: duration bis small,money to be repaid is more, to me who will give? Let it happen so. I will earn and bring.

Vishwamithra: for recovery  I will  send one therakara(……?).Give him all loan. What is the amount of loan? Standing on big elephant , if kavade(dice?) is thrown   upowards  how much height it goes,that much gold coins!remember. For belief that you will give give promise and go!

    

Harishchandra: within duration if you don’t repay money,one who does not worship shiva,,who crosses guru’s order,who loves other’s wife(females), who has  defied(damned,dhikkarisu)  mother and father,,setting fire to other’s house,.who has not maintained  kula dharma(family religion), in getting down hell I will also get down!

 

Vishwamithra:good, you should not beg in this state which I rule,should not undertake service profession ,should not do agriculture, you should not reside in this country only! By gong to other countries ,within duration  should repay my loan.

Harishchandra: let it happen so.

Vishwamithra: seven Islands also belong to me! Where will you go?

Harshchandra:  Maharshi. Kashi piligrimage and pampa piligrimages  does not belong to you. Thereis no place to your order. To those  Vishwanatha and virupaksha are lords. Pampa piligrimage is not suitable  to me. Myself reaching kashikshethra will give money which I have to repay.You who are shiva form, should  grace.

Vishwamithra: Right ,repay within gibven time.

Boldness treasure  Harishchandra  falling to feet of muni went. His face brightness did not get disturbed even a little. Seing bold charm of Harishchandra  vishwamithra in mind”Aha!though he lost all his wealth did not lose  did not shrink.,did not collapse,he did not hesitate even to   do oath  that he will repay the loan. From his mouth false will never come.Akata!what next? Myself  since infinet time, with great difficulty(sorrow)  collected  penance’s fruit  time of giving to him has come! Then there is strength of penance  will these munies join me in their group?let it be. Them myself standing in middle of panchgnies(five fires)  performing severe penance  ,collecting penance strength(tapo bala), And again making shiva to like  mind boldness (mental boldness) is in me.Iam not afraid of that.But oath of vasista muni will win!”pitied like this.Again”In munies meet  there will be insult t me.’fighting with vasista  without capability,  lost his penance fruit is this man’like this  showing me munies will laugh. To this suitable should be found” thinking like this  found one plan:”Harishchandra should be carried  to capital.On seing richness of city,,grandeur of palace, and his treasury  and harem(anthahpura) lasses  will not his mind change. ?”thinking like this, again calling Harishchandra  told like this.

 

Vishwamithra: Harishchandra come here, I have to tell you one word.Believing your words if I go to Ayodhya ,will town people(citizens) keep quiet?’Hey mad,Where is kingship to you?’ shouting like this, will they not throw stone balls upon me?Therefore you only coming to capital , making people to understand ,make an arrangement and go.

 

Harishchandra:all right.

 Vishwamithra:then go,climb chariot.

Harishchandra:I can’t climb chariot.

Vishwamithra:why?

Harishchandra: I won’t use other’s things.

Vishwamithra:If I give can’t you use?

Harishchandra:We are kshathriyas .to us acceptance(prathigraha) is not acceptable.Vishwamithra:any way this is your’s only?

Harshchandra:No,before giving it was mine. How it will be mine now?

Vishwamithra:I request rise chariot.

Harishchandra:Muni, Surely I will not rise chariot. I have seen directly what I have done?  You rising chariot with grandeur come to capital along with four part army. , Don’t trouble me.Time to repay is very little. The path I have to go is very far. If you don’t waste my time,you have punya  of making  me  to rise to heaven! I join hands and request.

Vishwamithra: I did not ask you to rise  chariot with pity! As per acceptance  without coming to capital  you may run away.So I told!

Harshchandra:yo can put guard(watch) upon me?

Vishwamithra:guard means  your soldiers!

Harishchandra: let them not. Let your desciples come as guard.

As per that  vishwamithra muni ,calling few munies of Ashrama,ordering to bring them to capital  rising chariot, Chathuranga  army  also  come along with him,giving order ,with celebration  came to Ayodhya nagara.

 

On entry of  to capital soldiers instruments sounded,thinking that their king is coming, with celebration  ,people decorating house houses,streets and streets ,swelling with joy, to welcome came in groups and groups.  On seing moon rise  like sea boils(spils) gathered.In middle of army, king’s chariot  with styles was coming.pearl jhallaries,,fans(vchamaras,white umbrellas excetra signs ,thinking  same Harishchandra  is sitting in chariot, went near it. ‘jaya(victory) to king”like this doing jayakara  when chariot was approached, in chariot a  beared  muni was found sitting!Aha! What to describe that situation!citizens who came to see their king  with joy,  became like bees covering buds! Like parrots biting severe freen nut!Became like kids licking  bitter! Became like cuckoos which precked wood, ,like calf searching motherS,those citizens got bored and tired.On hearing that king is coming between  munies  by walk  went there.

 

In midst of those munies,  Harishchandra like moon  kale(mark)appearing at day time , like garden of severe summer, like leaf thrown in sunlight s, losimg charm,drying up, wearing torn clothes,along with wife,son,ministers  was coming in watch(guard) of koushika muni.  Citizens not knowing anything, on seing his condition feared.With upset only  coming doing namaskarams “king accept gifts”telling like this, suitable gifts kept in front. Harishchandra “dear people,.to me kingship went. Now oneards vishwamithra muni   himself is king. Follow their orders”told.people did not accept.  Harishchandra gave proper information , teaching  should behave like this only,with compulsion,  made to give gifts to vishwamithra. Later vishwamithra’s chariot   entered city.Harishchandra with silence seing gathered people, walked street of city. To see  kinmg  all town women  had gathered in streets,in house doors,and in upstairs  also  were standing. Few had desired to do  bless Harishchandra,,to lift Arathi,,to keep sese(manthrakshathe),.Few females to shine their beauty  wearing navarathna fixed golden ornaments , were waiting with enthusiasm. All of them looking vpresence of king, became like flowers branch caught in  fire heat! Vishwamithra without counting all these, directly went and  entered palace.Holding hand of Harishchandra  holding hand ,went  near throne, “hey,Harishchandra, see this throne.See  army filled with  elephants,horses, chariots.See unlimited treasury. There is  safe capital   protected  by strong fort. there are innumerable    family relatives.Your wife,son,minister, these harem females –if you don’t want them  not to under go sorrow,marry my daughters(lasses). I will go off without troubling.”told.Now Harishchandra “maharshi,  will anybody sell delivered mother and purchase  thotthu (dasi,maid servent). By cutting  nose will anybody  see face in mirror? Will anybody  pledge  manikya ornament  and bring glass?For marriage will anybody dedicate prana?giving kasthuri will anybody eat  hurigalu(fried gram)? Marrying holathies ,till twenty one heads  shall I send them to hell?told.

 

Vishwamithra:Harishchandra,din’t say no.

Harishchandra: I will tell no only?

Vishwamithra:why?

Harishchandra: Why should I not tell no if told no what is wrong?

Vishwamithra:Right,if so-your officers, army chiefs(commander in chiefs) calling all of them,in front of them  submitting  country,treasury,lockseal, all  to me, you go off from here quickly!

Harishchandra  quickly  made to come to palace  all minster excetras.

 CHAPTER     10:WANDERING IN FOREST:

Later treasure of boldness Harishchandra   king  his all family relatives,,four part army,females of palace, showd and introduced to Vishwamithra. Gsathered faces of people had  dried up with sorrow(depression).Tongue was dry,tears were pouring, Intellect had shrunk(dulled). Long sigh had grown. Legshands  were collapsed,mind had  pitied, joy had faded.In palace  tieing rich mudi(knot),,preparing thambula, preparing Arathies, fanning fans(chamaras), rubbing sandal, holding kalasha mirror,-doing various kinds of services, maid servents Harishchandra  submitted to control of Vishwamithra muni. That truth sincere  carrying  koushika muni to each place,”this rathna treasury,this is gold treasury, this is coins treasury, this is silver storehouse, this is  bronze(kanchu) store house, this is weapon house,  this is army place-see all of these. This is award seal,this is city, this is  palace,

This is accounts book,”-like this  like this dedicated all.  Later”muni, all these belonged to you?shall I go now?” telling like this did namaskarams and went.

 

Like this Harishchandra  while submitting all to vishwamithra and going,peoples getting upset,pitying, getting tired, breating out hot air, requesting  shouting coming”king, Did you forgot all who had liked(believed) you,left,sold?” lamenting like this, searched  here and there.”getting down from elephant ,not knowing to walk, how will you kep bear feet? Sleeping in bed  how will you sleep in stone floar? You who was  coming under shadow of white umbrella like this cried.   How will you tolerate severe sunlig ht? Those town people blaming Vishwamithra “hey kindless fool! On coming out from capital will anybody

causelessly  on the way,will anybody beg donation? King who is of  simple nature of giving anything on asking, is available did you rob everything?nirasa(useless)! Characterless !low! killed all of us? Sorrow fire burning in our body  will not leave without piercing! You are not vishwamithra, you are death of Vishwa(universe).!”like this was telling himself. “gey muni, removing jate  you desire to become  king?Removing silk cloth will you wear Pithambara? By throwing rudraksha mala(garland), will you wear  bead ornaments? Leving roots and tubers (kamdamula)  do you want to eat festival meal?Throwing bundle of Darbhe   will you hold sword?Leaving forest did you got desire of  living in capital? Instead of vibhuthi do you want tp sprinkle sandal materials? Keeping away  senses winning  will you tie with wife? In this old age ,did your penance also  became old!” like this blamed. Again few”hey,koushika,  without winning six enemies(arishadvargas) , will he win enemies in war field? One who cant keep senses under control  which state will you keep under control?You who can’t earn  purusharthas by penance strength ,in which way you will collect money?fool!”like this were telling.

 

Gathered around,citizens(people)  seing Harishchandra getting upset,”Ayyo! Punya of our city is wearing purusha form  and going. Our luck is going forest. Surrounded by seven seas  richness of earth  beauty is under taking ajnathavasa(unrecognised living). Joy of poors and orphans  is hiding.”like this requested(prayed). There was hahakara (upset) of sorrow. As though thi earth has opened mouth,,as though sirections are getting tired and  crying,,as though sky has shed tears, ,Harishchandra consoling all of them, came out of city.behind koushika muni was coming.Harishchandra regarding him,”muni,

,previously with pride that I sam king, by bringing holathies  family should not bre destroyed, with sorrow, gave oppsite answer to you and spoke what nis not to be spoken. I am chandala who spoke non obedient words! Nobody lower than me! I became all criminal. Fathyer don’t leave kindness in me’like this  joining hands begged. Seing family relatives,”you don’t worry(pity) in mind. Don’t be angry,don’t get pained, don’t lose firmness. As you served my lotus feet ,you serve his lotus feet also. Behave with politeness and fear”. Telling like this,  joining hands, prayed. Againg turning to Vishwamithra  “mahathama(great soul), world famous, born in surya(Sun) family,Ikshwaku king , excetra kings  maintained state this is.  These  family relatives, and town people  have not faced any problem or poverty. You maintain them with love I pray you. Who is the taxman (therakara) coming for recovery of  loan?”told. Vishwamithra observing his desciples group, selected Nakshathrika who was  forefront in  false,jealoudsy,low profession, hesitationless(nirdakshinya)kindlessness(nishkarunya).

 

Carrying away to distance”hey nakshathraka, you should follow back of  Harishchandra and recover   my loan. Whether loan which he has to give comes or not,,that is not important to me. It is to be established that Harishchandra has told lie(false). Binding him in forest  for few days ,making him to fast, telling that my body condition is not proper for few days ,making him to miss path,keeping promise-some how you have to  pull on for forty eight days.This

You have to establish that he has spent forty eight days. Don’t show even little mercy in his  matter. Don’t follow him and behave. Don’t give chance  even to stand simply. You cau undertake any plans. If you are intelligent,,if you have guru devotion, ,some how spoiling his oath(promise)  from his mouth false should come.you have to do this.!”like this taught.

 

Nakshathraka “guru,Will Harishchandra bend to these?is this work possible by me? Told. Then vishwamithra “Nakshathraka  you be there fir neva(reason,false cause) Do what is possible by you. I will surely come. Myself as  sun light, as storm,as stony land, as vishama(uneual) fire,,as various cruel animals,,as severe forest, Roaring as kavira  ghost and bhethala ,,troubling by giving hunger,thirst,sleep,laziness  entering where he enters producing tension,  I will make him to speak false! Is there any path which I don’t know?” telling like this made nakshathraka to accept.Later regarding Harishchandra “he is my disciple Nakshathaka.  He comes with you as raxman(therakara). He has grown in happiness. Can’t bear tiredness without troubling  him within limited time  give money.  Now you can go!” Harishchandra doing namaskaram to his feet, went with eife and son. Minister also followd him. Ripubala surekara ( enemy  army   roberor?....?) that bold on going  gathered people  getting thirst,screaming, started to cry.Harishchandra walked forward. All people  pouring tears,missing step, falling, Followd.

 

 Then Harishchandra lifting up hand,”you should not come with me. Those who are favourable to my truth path  stop here only. Wishing my better  be in your house and be doing your duties. Don’t come with me Promise thrishanku king! Told. Citizens9people) “don’t worry even if promise is crossed..we can’t leave you and stay. Told  like this.”citizens , till today  not attached even by little false  to this sun family  will you wish defect(deficiency). When I hesitate to truth you have to tell no. when I am going in truth path   will you get tired like this? Will you come with me? Somehow  after repaying the amount, I will inform you. Upto that you remaining here only should follow order of Vishwamithra muni.’informing like this,  joined hands to all. Citizens”king, even full moon also as charmless, may not be seen. But chakora birds which have drunk  rain water, again  he returns with  full marks(kale,kales)  will be hungry. Will they srink sun light? You who is our king  if you carry us with you,,till you return   we will hold jiva in ete, other purushas we will not serve”told like this.

 

 Mahajanas(great people) don’t trouble now. This challenge is not needed. This kind of stubbornness is not acceptable. I join hands and pray’ telling like this  joining both hands ,did namaskarams. Without seing other path, those people”king, do what comes to your mind as correct.don’t worry about us”told like this. Harishchandra moved forward and consoled them.  All gsathered praising good charecters of  king   with wonder  stood seing him only. When Harishchandra  left all town people s,they became like motherless kid.  Like moonless naidile(water lilly),luke hose from which wealth has moved away,,like lifeless body,like oil reduced lamp,like waterless pond, like tree with cut fruits became.

 

Minister Sumathi showing path,  was moving forward. Behind him  Harishchandra holding hand of child(boy) Lohithashva,  Behind Harihchandra  chandramathi,that king who had lost everything , pressing aside that worry  to repay muni’s dakshine(remunirationm) money  leaving south direction, to find answer to asking of loan,holding north direction, went! He in his mind “for maintainance of truth  Any much trouble I will bear. But this  child and wufe  have not seen  chiils air,,sunlight,hunger . No footwear to tread. No saree to cover back. Walk receded.  Chandramathi “If I remain back husband may get angry To walk fast beyond my level  legs are paining. Very much.Whsat shall I do?” like this became sorrowful. Harishchandra used to stand  ubder a tree  waiting for his wife  to come. Harishchandra  who was king of seven Islands,his queens dried up lips,,dried up mouth,spread curley hairs, pouring sweat,  know spread on back, dried up eyes,legs having boils due to pressing of stones,,swollen fingures,,seing way of keeping feet slowly, was leaving long sigh. Lifting up son now and the,consoling wife who was not able to walk,,treating tired minister,  troubles of stone,thorn,wind,sun light,hunger ,thirst  bearing.Akatakata!Harishchandra  joining hands  to  time’s greatness (mahime)  walked. Like this getting tired, ,while all of them were going, as Rahu comes near moon, Therakara(taxman) Nakshathraka  came near Harshchandra.  Vishwamithra muni increasing  heat of sun light bt hundred times, On path  hills and rivers,,birds animals, trees and bamboo forests,  created. Gave various kinds of troubles. BBy his maya power,  keeping rocks on psth,,heating land so as to burn, ,gathering thorns in shadow,,spoiling pond water so as not to drink, by various forms of animals obstructed across. Whe  god only neglects what  will  not  happen?

 

Though Harishchandra was king, now no people to treat. Though lord of earth  earth only getting heated like   heated oven  Did not give chance to keep leg.Akata(ayyo)! Though born in sun(ravi) family,  to sun who was showing  burning sun light, Harshchandra appeared as though other. Without able to talk, while consoling tired wife,child Lohithashwa started to cry  without tolerating hunger. Harshchandra was about to pluck and bring fruits in  forest  and give it to son,,therakara Nakshathraka  came to front like mari “I am hungry, first give me meals! In this burning sun light  are you making tired?”like this  asked.Harishchandra “whatnis near me? Next if we get any place I will earn and bring” told.”to wander with you with hunger is   not possible to me. If it is not possible to give meals,,give the loan what is to be given!” like this Nakshathraka started to trouble. Like  this experiencing various  troibles ,while Harishchandra was moving, it became evening. Sun reached west end.

 

“taking birth in my famous family ,as an emperor, Harishchanda wha had earned world fame, due to trouble of Koushika muni, did  I became goal?”by this worry ,without able to his difficulties  as though Sun set(drowned) in western sea. Not vable to see difficulties of harshchandra  as world sorrow  emitted out  deep dark covered. King who was anxious about sorrow ,,to see what he is doing in dense forest  with curiosity  As though sky blossomed eye, stars appeared! In deep dark  king’s wife and son may fear , with douby they may be afraid ,as though night goddess(Nisha devi) enlightened lamp  moon system rised(appeared). Then vishwamithra creating clouds by his maya power, concealing moon  on fanning hands, In forest where Harishchandra  was present  deep dark covered. How it’s density was means , Harishchandra excetras  first touching their body,  they had to get confirmed that they are present! In burning sun light  by walking,getting tired,  hungry H bead fixed salabhanjikesarishchandra  slept on land of forest. Previously in karumada in wollen bed of  kid swan  in bead fixed  salabhanjikes clear light king who was sleeping happily ,in midst of forest ,in covered dark, in ups and downs  on stny floar  inm thorn bed he had to sleep. When there was no blanket to cover, snow started to pour. Sleeping on his left and right side  wife and son,now and then  Harshchandra was stroking and seing. He hesitated to talk with  minister. Because knowing hint of humans  ox or tiger may come and eat. Let them eatm but  but in the way in which he gave words to muni  illfame that I died without repaying loan, will come to me  that was fear of king. At that btime on chest of boy  scorpion moved! Nesar vwife vserpent  roared bhuss! She was afraid and cried. At bdistance roar of tiger and bears heard.Devils and bhethalas  which were there came! Chandramathi and lohithashwa  shook gada gada  and embraced Harishchandra tightly. King msaking them to believe,,consoling telling’shiva shankara virupaksha’ like this  was telling to remember god.

 

Prsent near only, therakara(taxman)  Nakshathraka “Harishchandra  you becoming part of forest, why do you pain  wife and children? This severe foolishness  nothing else?At least now do as my guru tells  and be happy!”    Harishchandra “don’t tell those words. This is which pain?which difficulty? 11)DARSHANA OF VISHWANATHA:

Harischandra taking bath in a river, completing sandhyavandana, worshiping lotus feet of  Indushekhara  did sthothra of guru. Later that bold lifting up son, consoling wife, talking with minister, answering to question of Nakshathraka , holding further path,  walked. Due to rising sun light head top(netthi)   became hot. Leg started to burn. Hot air started to vlow. In stomach hesat of hunger,in mouth heat of thirst, while hesitating bending moving forward , with kindlessness  Vishwamithra  started wicked  trick(techniques,tactics).

 

 In front severe  fearful forest fire rised up  moving towards them, covered. As karthavirya  killed jamadagni muni,rised up jamadagni’s  anger fie drinking sea, without getting hunger reduced  burning earh as though moving,Kalagni rudra  in untime   caale pralayagni  with hands  as though , forest fire(davanala), rushed and came with force. Burning into ashes  abundant  big bamboo forests,,cutting breaking hill, reducing esart into burnt charcoal, blowing grown trees, burning,smoking,spreading  flowing jumping ,responding, covered around.

Bhugi bhugil, chili chilil, churi churil, Chata chatir  burning dhaga dhaga, ghulu ghulu  swollen jumped  dense flame, growing into creeper, spreading red spark,  covered around. Harishchandra holding hand of wife and child  fearing  to avoid  forest fire, wandered(struggled) from that to this side. Around so as not to miss, forest fire covering around, Harishchandra without knowing what to do further, as digbhrantha( not knowing what to do,not knowing directions)  stood simply. At that time fearing to fire  shvapadas(…..?) ran and came where Harishchandra and excetras were there. Serpent,sarangi,tiger,lion,fox,wulf, forest he bufelo,pig excetras  getting half baked ,getting upset, covered around. If moved fearing to forest elephant, behind tiger roars! In another place bear is standing! If turned another side, Lion roars! On that side wild he bufelo(kadukona), this side cutting dog,  In Another place serpent hissing bhusss! That amaze what to describe? All opened mouth and pitied. Gods seing disaster  got by Harishchandra  melting,”Shiva shiva  Mahadeva, karunakara, Protect Harishchandra king” like this prayed in parameshwara.  In that condition Harishchandra  who was bold and great valient,did he shook?feared?suffer?no. when parivesha(……?) sorrounds  like sun shining in middle,at the time of churning of  sea  covering three worlds, like parashiva standing in front of kalakuta, ,when flame attacked, shined brightly like lamp.”did not reach kashi, did not pay muni’s debt, did not cross and go donated  givenland,  on completion of longevity  did bot die,,apart from him only along with wife son minister  in dense forest has to undergo bad death?” like this worry troubled him.

 

In warfield  beting enemies  giving feast meals to mari, ,not reaching heaven by death, caught by fire I have to get vanished!” like this pitied. Later regarding minister”sathyakirthi , my wife and son also  being caught by fire  an dieing I can’t see .later my death is unavoidable. Therefore I will  hide in this fire. Don’t prevent me. Don’t be sorrowful.”told . then sathyakirthi ‘king, shall sorrow of lord can servent see? Who is more sinner than me? If I  die later what is the use  which is got? In front of lord if servent dies there is punya.  Servent without going in frontS, can king walk? Father don’t speak eveil words”like this joined hands. Harishchandra: Sathyakirthi   you are better brahmin  born in brahmin family. You are shiva devotee knowing  all vedas and Agamas  leaving house and children , though old you have come behind me. If I put you  in fire  directly in front of eye, shall I not get hell? I can’t become goal to such ill fame.If you keep step forward my promise.\!

 

Lohithashwa: gfather let fire god  take me as sacrifice.Being satisfief by that , he will save you all.Send me.

Harshchandra: cild, you live long(Chiranjeevi). You should rule this empire

Lohithashwa:Did you not give empire to vishwamithra muni?where is empire?

Harishchandra: Child, if there is grace of god which is not possible? Though step mother refused Dhruva did he no become emperor? Shiva is there.There is luck of ruling state to you.

                                                          

By that tima chandramathi” has talk not completed?Forest fire is rushing coming.king, give permission, First I will become sacrifice(ahuthi) to fire.”she told.Queen,’harishchandra for  sake of truth  losing all wealth, protecting wife and son, became   sacrificed (hutha) in fire’these words are  to remain .’he pushed his hand held wife  to fire,this talk should not come’told like this.Chandramathi”my lord, this fire without destroying  all  will it destroy  me only? Myself to leave prana after you is  lowness. In mutthaideship  I will close my eyes in front of you. Send me’like this falling to feet,pampering  requested.  As there was no time to make talk to grow, Harishchandra holding tight  boiling sorrow  accepted as yes. When chandramathi  falling to feet of husband and  on starting to  go lohithashwa “mother,I will also come with you”told. Chandramathi  embracing tight, playing  trunk,,wiping tears,”child don’t cry” telling like this saw husband and joined hands. “king thinking that you will  give with  thios freedom, I have behaved  beyond my fit ness level. Without fearing and hesitating to you, I have sit in seat in which you sit. Often I might might have given opposite answer also. Excuse all my crimes and  graca.” Like this falling to feet of husband   getting send off  walked opposie to fire.with boldness standing in front,’in births and births  let  Harishchandra  kind  only be my  husband,let Lohithashwa become son,let sathyakirthi only become minister let Indushekhara be god!”like this requested. Lter’if I am not pure from both families, except Harishchandra king, if I had remembered anybody , I have eaten another by giving one to husband,If I have not worshiped Eshwara with pure devotion, ,let this forest fire burn me into ashes! Otherwise leave path and move away!” speaking like this, that Sadhvi  Shiva shiva Mahadeva!entered entered fire!”

 

What  a wonder! Enlighting Sun became as though  entering black dark(rainy dark)!koushika muni’s  artificial fire, flew and ran! In front of better people, falseness will walk up to when? Gods poured flower rain. Heat of land  reduced. Hjarishchandra embraced wife  with joy. Minister fell across her feet. Lohithashva enjoyed. Later king,’by graca of Hara, fear of fire went. Period9duration) given to muni  came near. Now I should not  delay. Go quickly” telling like this with all of those. Crossing many  cities, forests, hills  in front ganga river appeared.  In that river covering waves,behind waves  relatives of  whirls,,surrounding, washing away, coming water flood,  due to horate(….?) of flood, boiling foams mass, hiding foams again rushing coming   waves, to greatness of Ganga river  vedas only are withess.If asked  sin remover, if remembered punya doer, If speaks siddhi (accomplishment)giver,If seen bhava destroyer,  to those who praise that river, Devendra post.to those who ntouch brahma post. To those who drink it’s water liberation.

 

All of them with joy, taking bath in holy ganga,river, went  towards vishwanatha temple. At distance high  vyasahastha appeared. Very high that vyasa  hastha ‘equal to  vishwanathaswamy  another is not there in fourteen worlds!It announces and tells,’hey sinners,don’t be afraid! Remember vishwanatha and become blessed!’like this gives Abhaya(fearlessness)’those who want punya fruit come here!’ as though calling like this, appeared. On the path seing many bgolden kalashas , announcing  praising greatness(mahime) of Eshwara , pressing  devotees who were doing namaskarams , going Harishchandra visiyed  Sri vishwanatha. In avarana(enclosure) devotees gathered-

 

Jaya janardhana vandya,jaya jalajabha pujya

Jaya badarinatha, jaya pujanathitha

Jaya jathavedaksha, jaya Jahnavi makuta,jaya

 Jaramarana dura|

Jaya jaya jithananga, jaya jaya jagathrana,

Jaya jaya Chidananda, jaya jayomaramana.

Like this were doing jayakara. Jagadishwara Harishchandra saw. Supreme joy hjappened to  his heart. He swinging in joy rasa, praising singing god,re questing for firm devotion, doing namaskarams  went from there. Later Kameshwara, vibhandeshwara, daksheshwara – excetras lingas they visited.

By forgetting all difficulties  which have come to him,while enjoying seing grandeur of temples,nakshathraka  came in front and stood like mari!”give my money firest! If you delay still  my guru will not tolerate. Shall I get blamed?”telling like this held cloth of Harishchandra. Harishchandra “muni, kindly become peaceful. I am doing darshan of god”on telling like this,”the duration which you were telling gets completed today. If you don’t give this day your sathyavratha (truthvow) will also gets completed!”like this Nakshathraka obstructed across.

CHAPTER 12:SALE OF WIFE AND SON,SELF ADVENTURE(ATHMA VIKRAMA):

 When Nakshathraka told that itself is last day only for repayment of loan,then only Harishchandra remembered.He suddenly jumped  and got afraid. Duration  had reached. Therakara(taxman) was very cruel. Nobody is aquainted to me in this city. No place to keep leg. To beg is insulting. Even if begged  who is the giving king! No place to earn  Whsat shall I do? For sake of truth gave all empire and came. But still I could not save truth! What a sinner I became!  Thnking like this, king  with pained mind,losing intellect, losing boldness,with filled tears  sighd .Face blackened. Bent head. Therakara nakshathraka  was pouring stiff (harsh)words only.

 

Sadhvi Chandramathi”In worry  fire  flame  my king may get melted”thinking like this told.

Chandramathi: Duration is for two sessions(java) only. What  happens  by thinking simply? Sall myself and child  and repay loan!

Harishchandra: By making you go under this much difficulties, aprt from bringing to outside country, shall I have to sellShiva shiva! Shall I do thjis work when I am alive?

Chandranathi: Region should be protected even leaving  wife and children.Is it not? If hesitated for truth vow(sathyavratha) will shiva like? Doubtlessly sell us. Next what  is to happen let it happen.

 

Without seing any other path, Harishchandra agreed to words of wife. Pressing awa shyness, on  both their head  keeping grass blade, in streets and streets  and lanes and lanes of city “I am selling them. Anybody can purchase!”announcing like this,  truth treasure Harishchandra  wandered. At that time agnideva(fire god)  according to order of Vishwamithra  muni coming in  disguise of  brahmin,”who will sell whom?”asked like this. He on showing his wife and sin,”Ayya,he is small boy,she is old aged.who other else nis there?” like this brahmin enquired. Harishchandra”I am having only two, purchase them and help”told. Brahmana”good, What is the rate(value) you tell?If profitable I will purchase! But to give monet still seven  eight days are needed.answered like this. Harishchandra”swamy,  within This day evening only  I have promised to give one mass of gold coins  If promise is not fulfilled ansartha(meaningless) happens.  Therefore father grace. Without doing bargain  now only give how much money you feel  and finish business”like this told.

 

That vipra(brahmin)”to this boy twenty thousand,to this woman twenty thousand -total forty thousand I will give”told. Harishchandra  showing the  nakshathraka”he is the lender. If he tells got it is enough”told. Lord at once brought all coins and  kept in front. Harishchandra”Nakshathraka  Take this money.did your money got?”like this asked. That muni disciple .”what is to be given  my Bhathye(…….?) is got! Not loan! For these wandering with you  I have laboured a lot. This the retuns which I have to get!what amount is to be given to guru give away!”answered like this. Harishchandra without knowing what to do, seing brahmin”viprotthama, this much amount to take as bhathye (…..?) is it suitable?you only tell as mediater:on telling like this, That brahmana  higher than elephant you have to give golden mass  as loan.When you have to give this much of loan, this forty thousand is  very little! This is bhathye (……?)of

 Therakara onlyThis much honour is to be given!” told like this.harishchandra with sorrow  “when lotus comes out from water  even to Sun also anger upon it! On seing baseless  poor who will not get angry?” like this told.

 

 Vipra ‘if what is seen is told,kenda(burnt charcoal) like anger!  Did I got angry?go ayya go,by your anger what will you do?” telling like this, turning towards chandramathi and lohithashva “hey woman-useless! Go to house work. Hey boy you should go to forest and bring woods(sticks). You go quickly!” told like this harshly. To Lohithashva sorrow pressed and came.’father shall I go”asking like this, embracing father tightly,shed tears flood. Chandramthi doing namaskarams to feet of husband, bent head and stood.  That brahmin’s eye became red. “abba! See see! Owner who have purchased  when I am here, Adventure of seller’s  acceptance!” like this pulling blaming both of them, carried with him.

 

Harishchandra” did not fight and fail in war.did not gamble, State went.capital went.”wealth went. Family relatives left hand.At end wife and children  separated. Cruel loan duration (period)  was about to close. Debt in which way  answer and become pure?Past bad karma is  sqeezing and drying me.”like this   covered by sorrow. Then minister Sathyakirthi “lord, In war winning six seven worlds   who can win  capable you are. Great valient like you that poor muni,by show(trick) of talk, stealing whole state,,as though not enough has  burdebed loan also.This is bad luck only.this is never bad karma(work). Don’t lose boldnessgo”told. Later Harishchanda deciding to sell himself ,in city street In generation of surya family  Ikshvaku king , born shanku king’s elder son I am! My name is Harishchandra Anybody can purchase me  can take my service!” like this went on announcing. Wandered in streets and streets.”in this city is there nobody who will purchase me! Let there be purchasing,not even enquirers also..nobody to life eye and see. To duration of loan still half session(java) is remaining. After completion of duration will muni remain quiet? Later given how ever much  he will not leave without blaming me.What condition(fate?” like this he worried.

 

On this sideVishwamithra muni  thought” if asked to marry  lasses  shall I marry holathies?like this this big man refused? I will make him  to become servent of holeya   and make him to guard (watch) graveyard!”like this  deciding  severe fool that muni  calling yama”you reside in kashi as chandala dress wearer.  Purchase  Harishchandra  and appoint him as watchman(guard) of graveyard!” informed like this.As per that yama  by name veerabahuka  was residing in kashi city. While Harishchandra was going in street to sell himself , veerabahuka came out of house. His body pure black.red eye, drunk fattened  stomach, a stick in hand.

 

Heavy jade rising to spread hairs on head  had covered around. He belching darr,shouting at servent, sent one servent near Harishchandra. He came near “what ayya who will give for vsales? Whatnis the rate(value)? Where is king who is going to get sold?My lord veerabahu nis interested in buying.”informed like this. On knowingv  that a holeya is desiring to buy him, Harishchandra got birritated. “Abba!  As Surya family born  kshathriya having grace of vasista muni,myself  a chandala is buying?what a boldness it is! Without fearing even a little, crossing border and coming, this man is tellind servent to his owner. Is this tima  character or my karma fruit? Though pepper  becomes sour  is it lower than jower?” like this shouted. Now virabahuka came forward  and asked “whom you are objecting?”.

Harishchandra: I objected you servent,without enquiring low and high  will you become servent to chandala?-like this can he ask?

 Virabahuka:Who is low?who is high? Myself who nis duty sincere  am I chandala? You who are carrying dirt of falseness  are you chandala?

Harishchandra: What false did I say?

Virabahuka: Any rich persons can  buy me .did you not tell like this?

Harshchandra:true.

Virabahuka:therefore only I  asked. Do you say only better brahmins only should buy? I came to know that you are a truthful person. Your words only became enemy to you? Falseness is dirt(hole). One who carries this hole  is he is not holeya  who?you are telling that you are  king. To king hell is not avoidable! Will you hesitate to false hell! By talking with you Why should I  carry defect!

 

Telling virabahuka returned. Harishchandra  with wonder  bhapure!

 Fate has made me to touc here! If I won’t sell myself to him,it will be another false. Who will buy me now only? If duration passes off,  As I did not fulfill promise given to Vishwamithra  another false ties up(attaches). On this losing state shall I  get illfame of falseness arguer? What nis fate’s  barren play(goddata?)  let it happen!”thinking like this  called veerabahuka. He  turned back and saw “why are you calling again? Who is carrying dirt of false!”told.

 

Harishchandra: rolling in burden of loan, without knowing talked one false. I decided to wipe out false  which you imposed upon me.

Harishchandra: Standin on elephant If kavade is thrown (emitted)  how much height it goes  that much height’s golden mass.

Veerabahuka:Good, If that much money is given which is the work you do?

 Harishchandra Sat any time  which ever work is told I will do it without saying no!

Veerabahuka:If so I will give!

Akatakata(ayyayyo)! Sun family produved  Harishchandra will become servent of chandala.As per order of veerabahuka  sevents filling up in baskets baskets(butties) brought and poured. Standing on elephant  and thrown kavade’s ,equal to that much height coins mass accumulated. Nakshathraka with woder noded head. While Harishchandra and Nakshathraka were were seing, that mountain shaped money mass Like Meru mountain  surrounding ,When Hsari and brahma are argueing  for  for their eldership ,in middle incarnated (taking birth) giant jyothirlinga  as though it appeared.

 

Harishchandra seing Nakshathraka “maharshi  to period  which I have told, there are two moments(galiges). As per words will loan come? I will not tell lie.is it not? By me to you verymuch tiredness happened. I made you to wander very far.My mistake should be excused. Should be excused with courtesy heart. Inform the fact that I have repaid loan” telling like this thanked.

 

Nakshathraka”Harishchandra  Why are you making me to shy? Truth sincere  and god devptee people are not there in this world. Let good happen to you like this blessing wilfully ,started   arrangement of  shifting money. Truth treasure Harishchandra  Along with his owner veerabahu  went to holageri. Godds did jayakara.

 

 Outside house of veerabahuka  various kinds of  animal’s wet skins were hanging. On another side  holding pulling screaming animals ,they used to cut and bake. In another place they were sqeezing  intestines (guts)and spreading. As blood was sprayed to wall it was dirty.Veerabahuka entered house ,tieing nerves,in a cot constructed by bones,on wet skin bed sat with style(pride).Harishchandra sat on ground  by the side of cot. Later veerabahuka  iun human skull  made to bring cow flesh  eating started to drink, alcoholic drinks(liquors).While drinking drinking that holeya Ayyayyo(akatakata)! On shoulder of ravi family thilaka  on Harishchandra king  stretched legs! Harishchandra was peaceful without talking.

 

Veerabahuka:Hey! Is it true that you were king?will a king sit on ground without hesitation  on ground? If you were high family born  were you carrying  my legs who is holeya? As told by munies iy you were doing  sathvika shiva worship , were you coming to this dirt without hesitation? No,no, you are king! Somebody working in bhavi’s (man who is in family,this worldly,iha,mundane) house!

 

Harishchandra  I have accepted to do any given work.’kill cow,pierce dvija(brahmin),probe son,cut wife, drink poison, catch snake,fall in fire’-even if ordered like this, I should do. When it is so shall I  straighten (sedeyuvudu) to this small? The words that I will follow what I speak  will not  losen?

 

Verabahuka:Then,if you are appointed for any work also you will do without missing is it not?

Harisgchandra: Surely I will do. Did you not pay money mass so as to burry  desd elephant?Is it donation given to me by you? If I don’t follow given words will this land carry me?

Veerabahuka: Right, I have appointed to  watch(guard)  grave yard of this city!

Harishchandra: all right,what are it’s rules?

 

Veerabahuka:This is the rule. To one dead body coming there  four hagas(a measure of money) head tax,that tax and  cloth  of dead body collecting(recovering)  you should bring and give me. The rice thrown of dead body by house people  your salary!  Your meals excetras should be carried out by tha. In any situation you should not hesitate.should not lie, should not leave tax.

 

Informing like this veerabahuka As a sign of power(authority) gave betel leaf(vilkaya) and kambali(wollen blanket)and stick  to Harishchandra. To Harishchandra  emperor who was ruling whole earth  watching graveyard power seal! Later that holeya”hey! You should inform city people that you are  graveyard tax officer.Holding drum in streets and streets  announcing introduce to people who you sare. Now go”told. Truth ful(truth treasured) Harishchandra  immediately taking drum(thamate)  beating, announcing who he is  walked in street and street.”All listen! I have taken over power seal  of graveyard I have undertaken. To one dead body(cadaver)  four haga(a measure of money) tax,,deadbody cloth,head rice -all these should be given to me.  Without giving this fees if anybody  comes at night as thief  and burn dead body My promise! Promise of feet of wife of  owner veerabahuka’s wife! If fee is not given I will obstruct them across!” like this  went on announcing.

 

 After announcing in streets and streets of city, Harishchandra went to graveyard. To secong rudra called vasista muni, disciple ,rudra worshiper bt himself  along with pravathi  pramatha gana(group) who can make to like and bring  Rudra devotee, satidfied by vision(darshana) Of Rudra  such harischandra  resided in grave yard. One who speaks lie is holeya. One who touches is another holeya. When it is like this who is not holeya on earth?To avoid communication with holeyas  truth treasure Harishchandra  wearing dree of holeyas, might have decided to live in graveyard! Seing burning dead bodies, drinking bad snell of smoke, Listening to Amangala tone  of crying women  treading human bones spread on land, Harishchandra entered graveyard. Immedeately obstructing those who come for  collecting fees  tax , carrying cloth of dead body by tieing knot(bag),chosing head rice, wandered in grave yard. Lsater choosing  burnt wood used for burning dead body,,removing ropes of chatta  built a  high attic(atta) ,on that built a hut also. If sit on attic(atta) grave yard was seen fully. Without considering day and night  harisgchandra staying on attic  started to watch graveyard.

 

Minister sathyakirthi was in service of  his king. He getting up in morning, taking bath in Ganga River, worshiping vishwanatha  with humbleness”Mahadeva—vishveshwara ,grace. Relieve my king from this bondage”was praying like this. Later coming near king, pressing body-legs hands you”king, Don’t remember the past.,don’t be sorrowful, be bold, Vishwanatha will bless you. Like this was consoling.

 

HJarishchandra was bringing head rice of dead bofy  and used to give to  sathyakirthi. He was  feeding one fixed ox . Later bringing it’s cow dung(gome) washing in ganga water, separating undigested remaining rice  was giving to Harishchandra. Harishchandra “Mahalinga-‘vishwanatha ,dedicated to you only’ telling like this dedicating to god, eating drinking ganga water was spending days.”Kasipura itself is Ayodhye, graveyard itself is palace.attic(atta) of catch itself is throne,peace of mind is meals, Boldness itself is four part arny,,kambali stick itself is sword(long knife), truth itself is treasury, Following order of veerabahuka itself is  kshathriyas religion”like this Harishchandra thought.

CHAPTER 13DEATH OF LOHITHASVHA:

In this way  Harishchandra king following orders of his owner, smelling bad smell of  burning dead bodies,.picking up rice and cloth  thrown to dead body was spending days.  Daily drinking parashiva meditation, ,getting satisfied, was trying to forget held worries. Like this while Harshchandra was shining his truth sincerity, what to say about condition of house  in which his wife and son were staying?

 The house in which they were pledged was house of butchers. That nis residence of demons. Snake box. Yama’s city. Kitchen of death, mari’s mouth, How can wife ans son of king  will be with peace of mind?

 

House  owner(master) is of very angry nature.His wife is great fool. Son was severely wicked. Daughter was very kindless(nisture).Others who were present in house were wicked. Neighbours were liers. Reared cows were very naughty. House owner with anger frequently was hitting  mother and children. What ever done showing mistake all house people were  beating these two. These mother and children   were daily dieing taking birth. Chandramathi was drawing water from well, hitting paddy,-excetra works doing continuously eating food what is served were there. To her day and night became same kind. Child Lohithashva  at early morning  rising up, with friends boys  going to forest  has to bring  grass and sticks after gathering and  had to return to house carrying them  had to return at evening.

 

If there was any waste fallen in house ,house master will  angry upon her. If tried to tie  cattles those naughty animals were  hitting. If back is not wiped properly daughter in law used to beat chandramathi. That owner’s son  used to beat thinking that  she has not given water for  leg washing,for not rubbing back properly . Liers(pisunas) in neighbour  hoiuse were slandering(false allegating) that chandramathi  is thief. Then house mistress used to beat her. Like this  Chandramathi  with intention(decision) that she should not bring  defect(deficiency) to  her husband Harishchandra king,tolerating troubles  was carrying out hell life.As though it is not enough  to her lovely child one disaster came and attacked.Not to live-not to  go,  not to live-not to die, in such condition  Chandramathi got son’s sorrow.

 As routine Lohithashwa  rising up in the morning along with friends of same age group  went to forest  and gathered  grass and sticks. In afternoon severe sun light sweating,baking, tieing all as bundle, carried on head. While  his head collapsed,walk getting spoiled, with thirst when he came with long sigh, a huttha(snake house) was seen. Around that tender grass had grown  with shining.Lohithashwa in mind”If I cut and carry this wet grass  to house master will be happy. At least today  he may not get angry todat!” like this thought. Immdeately getting down carrying bundle ,holding sickle rised and went near huttha(snake house)!Harahara! It was as though sun  going  near asthadri(setting mountain)! Lohithashwa rising huttha while he was cutting  densely grown grass,a severe  serpent there bited his wrist  immediately rising  hissed. Boy with fear shouting ha,spreading hand and legs fell with neck below. Snake which rised from huttha,,knowing has bitten Lohithashwa, friends getting feared  left him there only and ran. While lohithashwa was crying calling  mother and father poison rised to netthi(head top).’my family bud dried up today’due to this sorrow  as though  Sun jumped into western sea.

Though it was evenin son did not come. Daily coming time crossed’ like this to chandramathi worry happened.’why did my child did delay?’ like this mind pained. Sigh hot air,pitied,  got upset,  broke (bent) her last figure. Forgetting her body only, listened to sound which comes from outside frequently. On this side she was  working fearing to  mistress. Tumult(upset) of mind of Chandramathi what house people know?’has child come?’- like this if chandramathi goes out of house and sees,’oho! She is trying to run away!’ like house people blame. If crying with tearful eyes,’Che amangala woman from where did she come?!’they say. In mind only remembering  charecters of son, if lamenting’whom you are scolding?like this they shout. With direction illusion( (digbhrame) if kept quiet withour foreseeing,’Abba! What  a work thief!’ like this blame.  If sighed with sorrow ‘Did you got tired by working?’like this beat. To chandramathi who was in midst of   house people like maries, her son’s sorrow  like pain of wound caught at tip of arrow happened.,like potter’s furnace’s  (oven’s)fire,  Acting like friendies enemies  heart’s  anger was drilling inside only.

To her  it was as though her heart was breaking. Chest sides were hicuping(beating).from  eyes tears were pouring. Throat became swollen. That Sadhvi was like banana plant  in seege bush.

 

 In burning sun light Lohithashva getting hungry,tired, as though falling  like this she thought once. While tieing cows did they  pierced anf made to fall, like this once goes to cattle house and sees. Without bringing grass and sticks(woods) fesaring to come inside he might have stood outside. Thinking like this she comes out to street and sees. In forest he might have missed path,,he might have caught by mouth of tiger,,thieves might have caught and carried away,,he might undergone bhuthacheste(devil’s mischief),,might have fallen in pit due to slipping of leg,,while he had raised tree for stick(wood)  due to breakage of branch, might have  fallen,or due to pain of hunger did he stop there only, or some serpent might have bitten!-thoughts like these  covered chandramathi. Without  knowing direction, standing in dark of yard, cried. If I tell I will go and search house mistress will hit. Like this responded. Keeping hand on cheek,’Ayyogot spoiled!’ like this cried. If anybody comes in street,,if stood, even if air sounds,’lohithashva,lohithashva’  like this called like street calf.

Then one boycame seing chandramathi”A serpent bited your son! He fell there only?told like this. Chandramathi’s chest felt jhal.She”why did it bite?where?when?”on asking like this,Then that boy told  under such a tree in this direction, there is one huttha(snake house).While cutting grss there snake bited and that place is not very distant he told.

 

 Who can describe  sorrow of Chandramathi? Sorrow boiled beyond border. She went inside  and falling across feet of owner”my child is  bitten by snakeAnd died”told. That vipra(brahmin) without counting  told like this

 

Vipra:good happened.let him die if he dies!

Chandramathi:father,send servent and make to search.

Vipra:Now it is too night. Where are servents? I have to sleep! Don’t trouble simply,go.

Chandramathi: before foxes drag  shall we not burn ,father?

 Vipra: shudras aho have died from bad death  We won’t burnt!

Chandramathi: shall I go and dedicate to fire?

vipra: you do household works completely then you may go!

 

Later Chandramathi  swallowing spilled(boiled) sorrow  after completing house works  went. After starting from house only her prevented   boiled(spilled).Crying ‘ho’ in deep dark falling ,missing step,,treading thorns,,missing step in pits,praying, without considering whether  head opened(spread), dress losenes went running. On going to  place as told by friends ,she saw a grass bundle  leaned and stood to a tree. Guessing that my child should be here only, That mother”son,son, child of Harishchandra king, where are you? Where are you? Can you not say ‘o’? will you not say come here Am I not needed to you”like this lamented. With anxiety she searched here and there. She saw by wiping wiping tears. Due to burn of stomach  shouted and called.  By sorrowing ,getting  tired searching at last came near huttha(snake house). That Harishchandra’s qeen saw child saw son who was dead and slept.

 Due to spread of poison smoke green body,foam ozed chin,,dried up nail.Half opened eye,spread grass,held hand, due to hunger  stomach rised to back,bent neck.powder rolled mouth.On seing child  chandramathi collapsed there only.Shiva shiva! Embraced child tightly and rolled. Again again pampered. Keeping face of face played  trunk.loved.cried and became bendu).Is there any breath to son  like this examined whether breath is playing in nose. Is heart responding  she saw. Is there any blood in nail she searched. In  body parts  sensation poer,,whiteness in eye,,sweat in forehead,,vibration in throat, in sole to find heat tried. She tested  fingures,tongue,hairs. She did not see any sign of life..Again started to cry.

“son, delivered stomach became powdered. The fact that there is a son,swollen mind became burnt. The eyes which wree seing enjoying  dried up. Stroking body  getting romantic  hanf broke. Lohithashva calling like this  enjoying tongue’s bud  got nipped off. The ears which were enjoying  by listening your words became deaf. O my child  what ever difficulties may come had held life(jiva)  by seing you.pity of losing wealth,baseless worries,,shyness of entering  other(foreign) countrys,insult of becoming servent  of other’s house,nonrecognised(ajnatha) living of  your father,,troubles of house people, had forgotten so far.child you drilled my neck. Now to whon shall I live? If your father Harishchandra   king  leaving  hunger and sleep,earning with much labour, to relieve us  and asks to call son  which answer shall I give? Shall I say  snake bited and died? In ivory made cot, in hamsathulika bed, listening cradle song of harem’s women, sleeping prince you,in this forest dark  sleeping on stone is it suitable? My fate writing became like this? Child from where this thunderbolt  attacked? When snake bited didi you shout ha?while dieing did you call amma( mother?” like this crying rolled.

 Flame of son’s sorrow  exploded.Chandramathi crying”god, my mirror is broken.golden kalasha rolled. Golden statue’s prana went. Bud of sun family(surya vamsha)  dried up. The kalpavriksha sowd by king broke and fell.O son,son, in the head inm which you have to wore  bead crown you carried dry stick(wood) bundle? In hand which is to hold sword you held axe? You who eat feast meal(mristanna) , have to take ganji(ambali)?O god, how shall I bear this sorrow?Grace me death god, I can’t live further”like this cried.

 

“In births and births whose wealth I abducted,to whom I brought sorrow, which garden grow by whom  I spoiled- otherwise this kind of trouble would not have been come to me? Delivered stomach is burningson, You cut lifted arm son, seing by putting soil in  singing mouth,in seing eye pouring lime(you did) shall I say ‘don’t cry mother’ If died  son.If spoken who have delivered sin, seing  angry son , with me? Without giving fire to father and mother can you go forward?”like this cried.

 

Ike this after crying for long time chandramathi awoke. If I stay like this only,house owner may come and carry me to  house works. It will obstruct burning(funeral) of  my son?”thinking like this, lifted and carried son. Whilw searching where is graceyard, light of burning dead bodies  was seen at distanca. Thinking it as grace yard  chandramathi went there. On path according o induction of vishwamithra  to make chandramathi to fear, bhuthas-bhethalas  came in disguised(ugly) form. Grief covered chandramathi,without considering any of them, carrying child, reached graveyard. It was the place where Harishchandra was watching(guarding).Chandramathi getting down son’s dead body  collecting (choosing)baked remaining  black woods(sticks)   brought and gathered. On that chithe made lohithashva to lay down. Bringing fire which was burning  at another place  standing near “son, take birth where you are born,grow where you grew’like this  stretched hand to burn fire to dead body(chithe). But she could not make fire to touch deady collapsed. She started to cry loudly ‘ho’.

 

On hearing crying tone at night, Harishchandra who had slept on attic(atta)  awoke.’aha! in this mid night one woman only has come to graveyard, who is this valient woman? Like this wondering getting down quickly coming”hey,without paying tax have you come to burn  deadbody in theft?s if fire is made to touch promise of veerabahuka!

 I will break bone!”;like this blamed. Suddenly with anger throwing away bruning wood stick) in hand , he held and pulled legs of Lohithashwa who was laying down on chithe(wood too be burnt). Chandramathi’don’t throw ! don’t throw! There will be pain to child!’ like this screaming embracing dead body(cadever), leaned to her chest. Later stroking body, turning towards watchman,”father!  Without seing family, I am requesting.s Thinking him as your own son grace. Give permission to burn”s like this requested. Watchman /mad, tax of burning dead body, and dead body cloth is to be given.  What ever you tell I will not leave”told. Chandramathi’to give tax I have one money, working in other’s house poor maid servent I am’told. Watchman s”In your nech there is golden thali! Pledge it and bring money.later  get released  thali” told like this.

 

Chandra wondered.”shiva shiva! If my husband Harishchandra were to live, ,will this thali appear to shvapacha?my mutthiade ship is also  completed?” this worry  rised her sorrow  boiled.’O cjild to you who is born as son sapthadvipadhipathi(king of seven  islands)  this grave yard became enemy?

 Here also you have no place?  Valient who can give order to three worlds son,it became one chandala ordering  us? To you who is son of lord of nava nidhies there is no money to even head tax?ayyo son!” like this lamented. On hearing words of her lamentation  chest of Harishchandra shook.’did vishwamithra muni  brought and kept another trouble how?” worrying like thjis”hey lass, this boy is son of which king? Without able tp pay tax you are telling names of big people in order to slip(glide,in order to avoid) do you want to tell like this? While crying you adding false? I will never leave tax” told.

 

Chandramathi: if past richness is remembered  if remembered now will it come?On my part it became false only.what is wrong?

Harishchandra:what is the name of that king whose son he is? Which state he was ruling?

Chandramathi: He ravi kula thilaka named Harishchandra king. Son of thrishanku  king’s son. King of Ayodhya.

Harshchandra(with illusion): what happened to his wise and son?where are they?

Chandramathi:  That earthlord (king)  go by putting  harake(blessings) son only is  this child.I am his wife.

Harshchandra: What is the cause of death of this boy?

Chandramathi:A vipra(nbrahmin)   purchased(buyed) both of us  for value. When this boy had gone to bring grass and sticks to owner’s house  he was bitten by  snake and died. His fate became like this. What  fate  happened  to my husband!

 

Harshchandra:I have heard his  story! Without knowing  how to talk with intelligence,losing all state, as borrower  country corrupt (desha bhrasta)  dullard he is! Wandering  in forest like sheep, aviveki who sold hand held s wif and son! Coming to kashikshethra ,leaving family behaviors  has become servent of chandala. That laughable  at that  sinner why do you remember?

 

Chandramathi: Don’t talk without knowing  eligibility of my husband! Shiva though as  jata wearer  wears skin, residing in graveyard  holding skull  begs bhiksha(Alms), ,though drinks poison,though wanders with devils wearing skull garland,he is parameshwara only! World lord only. Un the same way to me Harishchandra  only  is destination(fate).he himself is intellect!

 

 Wife’s words entering  ear of Harishchandra,drilling his mind(anthahkarana), vanishing boldness,disturbing all senses, tearing pride, hit sorrow and made to rise! Tears shed pala pala.  He felt that he did a crime to his wife.” This Sadhvi,this punya statue,,this chaste woman(pathivratha) – made to undergo this much of difficulties. I so;ld to cruel brahmin(vipra). This son,this happy, this lovely child -made to kill by  biting by snake.I carried such dirty  burden(bundle)” like this  with sorrow and upset to prevent sorrow though tried without able to do so  fell near  body of his son.

 Chandramathi came to know who he is.”o my lord, why did this fate come to you? Depending upon equal  kings by earning money bringing  Yiou will relieve us from  arrest(bondage) like this I had thought.As servent to madiga  watching graveyard  luck  has come to you.?”like this lamented. In front of death of son, husband’s fate(destination) became like this-like this  that Sadhvi thinking getting upset, maravattu(……?) became kola wood.

 

King started to cry.”o child, myself as state corrupt(rajya bhrasta),as servent of chandala, as sinner,as low, became family less. You without becoming like me  like your grand father Thrishanku king with desire that you will become king to whole  state  with this belief I was.Ayyo like this you have died causelessly?appa cjild,’In kashi kshethra(piligrimage), giver od desires of devotees  visheshvara’s lotus feet  you worship with devotion.  By his blessings  again  getting richness becoming famous on earth, Suryafamily(sun family) kings name you will make bto stand firmly’like this I had believed. Without living in this way  you  became sweet thutthu(food,gulp) to snake.Can you do like this,tell son, why are you not talking with me? Next earth which you are going to rule as I gave to others  are you not talking? Bringing both of you I sold,for this reason are you not talking? Serving chandala ,to blameless surya(sun) family as I  brought defect you sare not talking? Whsat is moderateness(hada) of not talking?tell. You have not died fighting with enemy kings. You have not died while protecting munies sacrifices. You have not died favourable to god. To those who have begged flesh donation   you havenot given body aridaridu(….?).  While bringing grass  in forest bited by snake did you die? You made laughable to blamers? Can you die like this ,child’like this lamented.

Then Chandramathi”king,if remember chatecter of child  and cry no end. Like this only night passes. If morning happens  house people make to search  by pulling bringing  will beat me. Harishchandra” Without giving tax it is not possible to burn .if there is money give.If no money  beg owner and bring.”told.’owner is not the person to give”on she telling like this “beg andsee, if not given make loan and bring.If loan is also not born, leave worry of burning.s what ever comes let it come!” like this Harishchandra told.Later, taking cloth of lohithashva walked towards his attic(atta). Chsandramathi without knowing direction,I will ask my woner vipra and see.Like this she went.

 

Koushika muni  to give more trouble to  those couples(pairs)  thought one plan.By his maya power creating thieves”hey, you go to house of kashi king’ palace,kill his child,keep on the path in which vhandramathi comes!” like this ordered. According to that thieves went to palace.

CHAPTER 14: VISHWANATHA REALISATION:

 

 Thieves went to palace and stealing prince  brought one place nof city. On stealing all ornaments on body  that boy cried loudly. Thievesc cutting his neck  throwing ornaments there only left and ran away. In that path only chandramathi was coming. Due to burden of sorrow ,losing  intellect  to chandranmathi who had become mad like, heard cry sound.”somebody is troubling !” illusing like this, ran to place. Child which eas tired  due to  thieve’s knife,thinking vher as own son, stroking body   searched. At that time king’s servents  hearing  crying sound of child, came to there with force.

 On seing  chandramathi  near boy  with blood filtering “hey, She is demon only. For desire of ornaments  she has killed boy. Tieing her hedemurige (will full bent body)  with stolen materials  let us carry her near king”like this decided. cCut and dried boy  carrying from her only,beating, in guard(pahare) of swordMade her to walk to palace. Due to pouring on boy’s blood  her whole body became wet. Chandramathi holding path and walking in mind”when they enquire me which answer shall I give? I found all sorts of sorrows. Ate and got cooled. Which other higher difficulty  will come? In case if  king of city asks ‘yes,  I have only killed that boy’telling like this I will show ornaments I will embrace death”like this decided.

Kashi king who became kenda(burning charcoal)  due to anger, giving order to servents  was sitting on throne.at that time king servents  pulling chandramathi  making her to stand in front of king’great lord,stealing prince and killed demon we we have caught and brought,give attention(avadharisu)” like this requested.king saw chandramathi “who are you? Why did you kill boy?”asked like this. I am nor demon.mahishi(queen) due to desire of ornaments I killed  this child!” answered like this. Don’t be afraid.tell as it is present. Due to induction of people did you tell like this  or is your work true? Tell without fearing. Calling dharmadhikari(judge,magistrate,officer of justice)  I will make to enquire. I will give you protection”told. Chandramthi ‘o this why dharmadhikari is needed?what he will do by coming? True I killed this child. Dead child is in hand only. Why enquiry? Order punishment  which you feel”told.

 

People who had gathered there”when she herself is accepting that she has killed why enquiry/ to makeher to be killed  itself is religion. Cutting  crevices crevices(joints,nooks and corners of body)  should be spilled. Ears and nose should be cut” like as they thought were talking among themselves. Chenduga without seing  back and front, holding her forehead pulling carrying  to  graveyard  made her to stand her near  his attic(attanige). By that it was morning.

Chandramathi with peaceful mind sitting in lotus position(padmasana)  closing eyes, joining hands to  guru vasista muni, remembered  clean form of Parashiva. Later seing above”till this earth sun moon stars exist Let Harishchandra  king become  famous  as truthful(truth sincere), and live. Let my son become liberated. Let what minister remembers let it happen., State king vishwamithra let live long!This is harake(blessings) -hit!”told.

 

On listening harake(blessings)  harishchandra’s chest sounded jhal. He jumped suddenly with wonder”Bhapure! This is chandramathi! Anger of fate came up to here! Yesterday showing bad death of  son ,now head of my wife holding myself directly with hand, mde to cut?Let it be.I am not the person to hesitate for this. Owner’s order should be fulfilled. Like this holding swprd became ready.

Without doubt prepared to hit on seing firm feel of Harishchandra, Vishwamithra standing in sky, don’t hit! Marry my daughters(lasses)! I you marry I wll lift(make to live) your dead son. Will protect her.  Returning wealth which I have taken from you,releasing  from bondage of Holeya,carrying to state keep you on thrown as before only.!”told. Harishchandra lifting up head  seing vishwamithra muni,”muni. To your greatness(elderlyness) are these words fit?listen! what if richness goes what if state goes,  What if I serve whom? What if son vanishes what if wife is killed with  hand directly? Harishchandra maintain sword,  sword ned  truth  without leaving- this is enough.-if told enough. Flashing lifted sword and  “ I am experiencing  difficulty due to my bad works till today . Now also will show your goddata?Will a holeya  feeling dirty to  murder of wife give back? To make to caught in dilemma to your gannagathana(…….?)  Will I straighten?sadiphadhe!” telling like this  lifting sword  on neck of wife’elele shiva shiva mahadeava,hit hit!’

 

 Holding  last hit of  hit sword’s  mouth ,present on left side girija’s neck embracing,red jades,moon’s charm, divine river’s filtering eyed phani kundala’s( serpent ornament) , five faced, tiger skinned, dressed  Ksashi ramana(lord) vishwanatha  slowly keeping step appeared! CHAPTER 14:BOON GIVING,THRONE RISING:

  On hearing punya news that purahara (vishwanatha)  graced Harishchandra gods excetras came and gathered.Ganeshwara,asta vasus, nine brahmas,gods,munies,yakshas, guhyakas,siddhas-excetras   came and gathered.Mahavishnu,brahma,moon,shanmukha,dvadasha suns(12 suns),nine planets,-all came. What to  tell  name these those? Non comparable god of gods towards  virupaksha all gods came. Munivarenya(high among munies), vishwamithra came with vasisya maharshi!

 

 Medicine though bitter to mouth to body  it happy maker(helpful). Vishwamithra muni though appeared to eyes of world  though severe angry person to Harishchandra brought and gave kalyana(welfare) heritage. Troubling him  testing tuth in testing stone(ore), at end making realization of  lord vishwanatha   fame that he is truth sincere(truthful)  made to spread in three worlds.

 

 From sky gods showered flower rain. Cone(shankha) bheri(drum) excetra mangala instruments sounded. Girijaramana(girija’s husband)  parameshwara embraced Harishchandra with love.harishchandra joining hands”hey holy statue,myself as  servent chandala, carrying  murder dress, watching graveyard  eating rice of dead body head  without hesitation, living low person.Seing death of son directly with eyes, low person who killed my own wife directly with my own hands.near this fool,hey lord why did you come?”telling like this did sastanga(eight parts) namaskarams to  to feet of Shiva.then parameshwara “Harishchandra to you to whom truth only is pranaservice of holeya is guru’s service.Carried holeya dress holy,punya special. Protection  of graveyard is protection is yajna protection. Deadbody head’s rice  eating is chandrayana vow.death of son is vanishing of births and deaths.Killing of wife is killing of maya. Don’t be afraid.rise up king’ telling like this   held hand of Harishchandra and lifted up.

 

Wiping his tears ,applying sacred ashes(Bhasma) in forehead  embraced.later calling vishwamithra muni “hey munipahold hand of that sukumara and lift up” telling like this, showd hand towards lohithashwa. Vishwamithra went near that child  holding hand”child-lohithashwa rise up!’on telling like this,  child who had died due to poison rise opened eye! Like moon coming out from mouth of Rahu, shining with thejas  enlighting,,as though rising from sleep Lohithashwa arose.  As soon as he rised  child becoming romantic embracing her mother”virupaksha swamy,I surrendered”telling like this, did namaskarams to feet of shiva. Parvathi’s husband stroking head of  Harishchandra”yathi who tells false himself is Holeya. Who never tells false is yathi. Panchamahayajnas which behave(practice) false are  fivesinners(five sins).Truth maintainance itself ia shivarchane(shiva’s worship).This is summary of vedantha. My order.harishchandra  who are truthful(truth sincere) are there in this world.?”like this admired. To vishwamithra “hey munishwara ,Harishchandra is truthful(sathyasandha,truth sincere) , there is no not even a little false in him if this is proved(firm),which you had told to give by pouring dhare all those you give now like this informed.Vishwamithramuni “I have performed penance  for a period of fifty crores years with sincerity. In that I will give half I had told.I troubled this king without leaving continuously.Now I liked.Harishchandra take half of my penance!’telling like this poured dhare. Later in front of shiva “Harishchandra to you I will hand over king’s post in Ayodhya city.go,rise chariot”told like this.

 

Harishchandra”muni, I have sold myself. Purchased owner is there. Leaving this work I  should not come. Apart from that  I will not keep step  in the land which I have donated. Please don’t  cpmpel me in this matter.like this requested. Vishwamithra  maharshi laughed”king Where I am?where state? Why state to me? To examine your truthfulness(truth sincerity) acting as though taking  all state  troubled and saw.whole state is yours only. Veerabahuka is not holeya. Direvct yamadharma only.According my indication  present in that dress  has transacted as though purchasing(buying) you!Believe my words,nothing artificial in this!” told like this.

Vasistamuni:Harishchandra, In Indra durbar  there was argument  between  me and  vishwamithra.’if Harishchandra tells lie,myself leaving muniship  drinking  alcoholic drinks in human skull, facing south direction I will go’ like this I had done oath.you saved my respect and maintained truth. Like this with kindness(affection)  embraced king. Parameshwara “ask what ever boon you want”on telling like this,Harishchandra”swamy(lord), In this kashi piligrimage where there is  your temple  let my name stand permanently.”like this requested. Pampsa virupaksha lord  gracing“let it happen so” seing gods and rushies”all of you send Harishchandra to Aydhya city and come.”ordering like this  disappeared.

 

Later arrangement of  Harishchandra’s journey  took place.Harishchandra  along with sathyakirthi  wife sin rised chariot  and went towards Ayodhya. Goda and rushies travelled with him.  On hearing that king will return, present in capital town people and family relatives  enjoyed with joy. Armed soldiers went forward  welcoming  Harishchandra  brought with grandeur. Mangala instruments sounded.

 

When full moon rised as sea boils people group gathered. On both sides of rayal street  lasses holding kalasha mirrors,to wecome  stood.Along with chariot and family relatives  Harishchandra approached  Ayodhya city. People group announcing ‘jaya jaya!’ as sun enters lotus,as vasantha rnters garden, Harishchandra king entered Aodhya city. King giving Abhaya(fearlessness) to peoplesnoding vhead to variety of grandeurs, seing flags rised in houses houses ,enjoying, walked and came to palace.At great door of palace  lasses holding mangalarathi  enlighted. Vipras threw manthrakshathes  and blessed.Vandimagadhas(praisers,admirers,appreciaters)  recited awads. Singers sang. Servents joined hands. Instruments sounded. Vishwamithra muni himself holding hand of Harishchandra entered palace. Is vishwamithra ordinary? High among all munies. Praised by all munies. Greatly great(maha mahima  who can bless(grace) dharma(religion,duty,values)-artha(money)-kama(desires ,lust)-liberation(mokasha).

 

Later regarding Harishchandra”king see all your things! In things what you had kept  no deficiency has happened.this is elephant hall, this is horse stable,this is treasury,this is store house,this is lock key,this is seal, this accounts book’telling like this  gave all materials to Harishchandra. Later  Harishchandra came to durbar hall and sat on throne. Did much donations. Samanthas gave gifts. Treating all by giving fearlessness (Abhaya),Harishchandra  Vishnu,brahma,indra -excetra gods did namaskarams. All of them  getting send off  went to heir their  worlds.sharishchandra doing sastanga(eight parts) namaskarams to “maharshi, you become pleased and blessed  me. You protected me”like this requested. Vishwamithra and other munies  blessing vishvamithra   went off. Those who had come to durbar chola,malava,Magadha excetra kings giving gifts ,showing  hospitality  Harishchandra sent then off.

 

In hara’s durbar,in nurahara’s meet,in function of vagdhara, in meet od Devendra,in durbar of sun,in fire’s meet, in moon’s function,in munies meet,in kings durbar-story of Harishchandra only. Words of appreciating him only. Other newses did not enter.
