Meditation:

Mother,bhagavadgithe,taught by god  srimannarayana  to partha,added in the middle of mahabharatha  ancient maharshi  vyasa,raining advaitha amrutha ,destroyer of family,having eighteen chapters godess you  I meditate.

 

2) like blosomed red lotus  petals,having vast eyes,great intellect vyasa,my namaskarams to you , who enlighted bright   lamp of   knowledge,  filled up by  bharatha  oil.  

 

3)kalpavruksha to prapannas(path of devotion,sharanagathi),,wearing   stick( vethra )in one hand,added with jnanamudra;sqeezing geethamrutha  , namaskarams to krishna

 

4)all upanishaths are cows.gopalanandana is milk  sqeezer,

 partha is calf;great geethamrutha  is milk;jnanies  drink  it.(page no 8)

 

5)son of vasudeva,killer of kamsa and chanuras world teacher,(world lord),who produced supreme joy to devaki,to such krishna I bow   head(do namaskarams)

 

6)having bhisma and drona as banks,jayadratha as water,gandhara king as black  rock,,shalya as crocodile,,krupa as flood,karna as disturbed  wave,ashwatthama and vikarnaas severe rocodiles(makaras) ,dhuryodhana as whirl  ,having big river was crossed by paandavas.to cross this srikrishna was  boatman..

 

7)born in lake of  vachanas(words) of  son of parashara vyasa,containing various  types  of  kesaras (lion’s  hairs) of  aakhyanas(chapters ,discussions) ,expanded by teaching of hari stories used(served) by  gentleman bees everyday   with joy,destroying dirts of kali,having intensive fragrance of  geetha meaning,pure lotus of mahabharatha do  good to us.

 

8) whose grace makes  dumb  talkative,makes lame to  jump mountains,I do namaskarams to such maadhava.

 

9)whom brahma,   varuna,indra, rudra,marudganas praise by divine sthothras  whom saanagas(sama reciters)  anga pada krama upanishaths  containibg vedas sing,whom yogies  see by mind indulged in meditation,whose end divine and demon groups  can’t understand namaskarams to such god.

 

Srimad bhagavadgitha:

First chapter:

arjuna   condolance yoga:

dhrutharastra told:

1)hey,sanjaya,in kurukshethra which is  dharmakshethra, joined for the sake of war, what did our people and pandavas do?

 

Sanjaya told:

2)king dhuryodhana at  that time seing army of pandavas arranged in wirl form(shape),came to drona ,told this word.

 

3)hey,acharya see this big army constructed by dhrustadyumna who is your desciple,in   telligent,son of drupada.

 

4to 6)in middle of pandava army big archery  specialists (billugaararu……………?…)

Equal to  bhima and  arjuna,valients,yuyudhana,,virata  king  maharatha drupada , drustakethu,chekithana, valient kasi king,purujitthu,kunthi bhoja,high human shybya, valient yudhaamanyu,valient uttamoujassu and subhadra’s son,droupadi’s sons are there.these are all maharathas only.

 

7)hey brahmana,in our party who are predominants(chiefs) and army chiefs,know them.for your memory I will tell their names.

 

8)you,bhishma,war winner krupa,ashwatthama,vikarna,bhurishravassu who is son of somadattha and jayadratha.

 

9) and for my sake  to give up prana determu=ined  still many valients are there.all are   efficient in  various kinds of weapon hits(shasthra prahara…………..?)

And experts in war.

 

10) our army protected by bhishma is unlimited.but that army protected by bhima is limited.

 

11)all of you should stay at all  whirl doors(vyuhadvaara),in your parts should protect bhishma only.

 

12)elder in kuru group powerful   grand father  bhishma to pruduce enthusiasm to dhuryodhana from high note(tone) doing lion roar  blowd cone(shankha)

 

13)afterwards cones(shankhas) drums,and doles mrudangas gomukhas  excetra instruments(musical)  at once sounded. That war sound was fearful.

 

14)afterwards   siting in  white horses tied    great chariots  sri krishna and arjunas  

Blowing their  other worldly(aloukika)  cones.

 

15) hrishikesha blowd paanchajanya,arjuna blowd devadattha cone.bhima who can do dangerous karmas  blowd cone by name poundra.

 

16)kunthi’s son yudhistara  king blowd cone by name ananthavijaya,nakula and sahadeva  blowd sumoghamani pushpaka  cone(shankha).

 

17+18)hey land lord,(king),big archerian kashi king,maharatha shikhandi,,drustadyumna,viraata,  undefeatable saathyaki,king drupada,,droupadi’s five childern  prathivindhya excetra,great valient abhimanyu-all those blowd their cones(shankhas) seperately.

 

19)and that fearful  echoing in sky and earth split kouravas hearts.

 

20+21)hey king,,later monkey flaged(kapidhvaja) arjuna seing at kouravas who were ready for war,as time had come to  weapon treasure( shasthra nikshepa),held liting bow ,told to sri krishna like this.

 

22+23)till   I  see these people  with desire for war,till I decide with whom  I have to make war and till I see all those  valients who have  gathered here to produce war love  in  wicked dhuryodhana   such war desirers,till I see,hey krishna stand my chariot  in  between two armies

 

Sanjata told:

24+25) hey,dhritharastra,on telling like this,srikrishna stopped stope

d in between two armies ,in front of bhishma drona and other kings,stoping his better chariot,hey, arjuna  see all these kouravas gathered for sake of war.

 

26)afterwards arjuna  saw in both  armies fathers(uncles and big fathers,) grand fathers,gurus ,nephewies,elder and younger brothers,childerns,equal aged friends,father-inlaws  and   friends.

 

27)arjuna on seing all  those relatives with extrardinary kindness  told these words sadly.

 

ARJuna told:

28)hey,krishna on seing  these our people wth war desire  my organs are shrinking and face is also drying up.

 

29)in my body there is vibration and excitement.from hand gandiva is sliping  and falling and skin is also getting heated.

 

30)hey,keshava, is not possible  for me to stand also.my mind is feeling giddyby ficklenes  and I am also seing shakunas( bad signs) which are hinting non welfare(amangala).

 

31)+32):hey krishna if I kill good people(gentlemen) in war nobody can see shreyas(welfare).I WONT  DESIRE FOR   KINGSHIP    ALSO.HEY,GOVIMDA  WHAT IS TO HAPPEN BY STATE.WHAT IS USE OF  ENJOYMENT  OR WEARING    LIHE.?

 

33+34)hor whom sake  kingdon(state) enjoyments,joys are needed such these acharyas,uncles,big fathers childern and grandsons brother inlaws and others have  given pprana(life) and money  are standing in  war field.

 

35) hey,madhusudana even if I am killed for kingdom(state) of three worlds do not wan’t to kill them,what shall I say for this  earth?

 

36)hey,janardhana, if I kill these kouravas  what   good will happen?if I kill these sinners sin only  comes to us.

 

37)therefore to kill our relatives   kouravas we are not fit. Because hey,madhava by killing our people   how can we be happy?

 

38)+39:by desire of kingdom(state) occupied these people,without seing destruction of kula(family, caste)the sin of friends  cheating (traiter),hey janardhana we by knowing the defects of destruction of family (race) should return from this sinful wok why can’t we go back?

 

40) if family is destroyed permanent  caste religions  become destroyed,and if dharma  is lost all castes will be occupied (controlled)by  adharma

 

41)hey krishna,as adharma increases family females will get  spoiled.hey varshneya.if females become wicked  mix of colours (varnas)will  occur.

 

42)  intercaste to those who destroy families  and families will pruduce hell attainment.his fathers  without pithru shraaddha rituals they fall down  from  pithru loka(father’s world) .

 

43)family destroyers  lead  to varna mix (intercaste).by these defects   permanent caste religions and family religions  will be destroyed.

 

44)hey, jahey janardhanafor these people who have destroyed family religions(dharmas)have to reside  in hell for long time we have heard.

 

45) by which reason desiring to state joy(joy of kingdom)when we try to kill people,for same reasons we have decided to to do great sins.

 

46)not reacting in any way  weaponless me weapon   wearing kouravas kill,it will be more  safer for me.

 

Sanjaya told:

47)in warfieldwith sorrow disturbed mind arjuna  telling like this  removing (renunciating) bows and arrows,sat on chariot.

 

 Now arjuna vishaada yoga is completed.

Chapter  2(saankhya  yoga):

Sanjaya spoke:

1)in this way,kindful,filling tears blured eyes,griefsticken arjuna,madhusudana told like this.

 

2)sri krishna told:

2) hey,arjuna this unfit,opposite heavenly moovment bringing ill fame this fascination during this unequal(vishama) time how did it came to you?

 

3)hey,arjuma don’t be sterile(shandathana).this is not suitable for you..hey pain maker of enemies,leave this low mental weakness and rise.

 

Arjuna told:

4)hey enemy killar,madhusudana,fit for worshp bhishma drona how shall I face with arrows?

 

5)without killing great people(gurus),in this world it is better to eat beged foodis is better (higher).but if I kill  money desiring gurus,have to experience blood sticken(blood smeared) enjoyments  in this world only.

 

6)wheather we  will win or they only will win,which is better among these two that also we don’t know.whom we does not want to kill those kouravas  are standing in front of us..

 

7)shrunken by defect of humbleness,having foolish mind,I am asking this question to you.you decide and tell me which is better.i am your desciple.teach me who is surendered to you only.

 

8)on this earth  even if you posses enemy less  prospherus country(state),even if you have lordship on gods,which will solve this  my sorrow which are drying up senses.such techniques I don’t know.

 

Sanjaya told:

9)pain striken by enemies,arjuna told like this to   srikrishna that he  will not do war and kept quiet.

 

10)hey dhrutharastra,to sorrowful arjuna,standing in between two armies srikrishna told like this with laugh.

 

Srikrishna told:

11)you are sorrowing about those  who are not fit for sorrowing and speaking words of jnani.scholars don’t’  feel  sorry about  dead  or living people.

 

12)there is no time when I was not there.no time  when you, myself and these kings were not there.in future also there is no time when we will not be there.(  ie we will be present for ever)

 

13)to self(athma)with body,in this bodyhow childhood,youth,old age occurs,in the same way occurrence of another body also in this matter jnani  will  not become  mad.

 

14) hey kunthi’s sontouches(contacts) between senses and objects ,yield cold-heat,joy-sorrow,they are nature of coming and going.nonermanent.thereforeHey  arjuna bear with them.

 

15)because ,hey    high among  men who considers  joy and sorrow    (purusha shresta)equally,willl not disturb that  man who is jnani.he is fit for amruthathva(deathlessness).

 

16)non existant does not exist.existant has no destruction. This decission between

These two ,jnanies  will understand.

 

17)by which all this  is  know it as indestructable .nobody is efficient to think of  destruction of avyaya(destructionless,reductionless)

 

18)eternal,indestructable,aprameya(who can’t be proved,understood,measured)

 Body of this athma is temporary say jnanies.therefore arjuna do war.

 

19)he will be never born.no death.he is not pruduced  previously  and will also be not destroyed.he is birthless,eternal,permanent,old.even though body is destroyed he will nnot be destroyed.

 

20)one who thinks he  is killar or he is killed,who thinks like this both  does not know.this   athma(self)will not  kill ,nor neing killed.

 

21)hey partha,this athma is indestructable.(avinashi),eternal.birthless ,not reduced   one who knows like this that man will how  whom he will kill how? 

Whom he will make to kill?

 

22)as man leaves old clothes and wears   new clothes  like that athma with body leaves degenerating bodies and wears new bodies.

 

23)weapons can’t cut athma. Fire  can’t   burn water can’t wet,air can’t dry.

 

24)this athma can’t   be  cut, can’t be burnt  ,can’t be wet,can’t be dried..he is eternal,,all pervading,firm,non mooving, ancient.

 

25)he is unexpressed-unthinkable,changeless,.therefore by understanding him,you should not have sorrow.

 

26)in case if you think ‘athma’is always taking birth and always dieng hey,mahabahu(great armed) then also  you should not  be sorrowful

 

27)because to  born death is definite  and for dead birth is sure.therefore in unsolvable matter you should not be sorrpwful.

 

28) hey arjuna,animals are not seen   before birth.  seen after birth.not seen after  destruction(death).why sorrow during this time?

 

29)one sees this athma as a wonder.in sane way  another tells as womder.another sees him like a wonder.and another even if he hears won’t understand.

 

30)hey arjuna,athma who is in body of all(every body’s body) won’t  gets  destroyed forever.therefore you  should  not be sorrowful about all animals.

 

31)even if you look   at  svadharma (self religion) you should not fear because rather than religious war no other shreyas(good) to kshathriya.

 

32) hey arjuna war which has come  without ppraying and opening door to heaven,such war,only lucky kshathriyas will get.

 

33)if you don’t do this religious war,for that reason you will destroy svadharma and fame and will get sin.

 

34) not only this,people will talk about your ill fame.for gentleman this  this ill fame is more than death.

 

35)maharathi’s will think that you have returnes from war out of fear..to whom you were much respectable(honourable) will become light in front of them only.

 

36)   your  enemies blaming your ability will talk untalkable talks what is more sorrowful   than that?

 

37)hey arjuna,if you are killed you will get  heaven.if you winyou will enjoy earth globe.so decide to do war and rise up

 

38)considering  joys and sorrows,profit and losses,success and failure as equal be ready to make war.if you do like this you will not become sinful.

 

39)hey,arjuna this  intellect(advice) was told to you in saankhya.according to sankhya.you have this with references with yoga.if you come to know this knowledge you will  tear out bondage in the form of karma.s

 

40)this karma started in karmayoga is not  destroyer.for leaving  after starting there   will be no defect. Even little anustana(daily ritual or practice) of this religion of karmayoga will protect from great fear.

 

41)hey ,arjuna,in this karma yoga fixed nature of intellect will be firm in one(aspect).those intellects which are not fixed are of many branches and infinet.

???42)43)44):

Hey,arjuna avivekies (who are not able to decide good and bad)

Interested in  vedic sentences(except karmas  which are means of  this world fruits,those who argue(there is nothing else lustful,(desireful  those who consider heaven is important ,these people to  get worldly wealth given by karmas,to  techniques combined with  various  activities speak those words which are ‘apaatha manohara’(beautiful talk……?)mind captured  away by  these talks leaving interest in worldly wealths,there will not be fixed intellects.

 

45) hey arjunavedas talk about thriguna matters.(therefore you)thriguna less , dual less, always having sathva guna(nature),without any yogakshemas,athmaful man.

 

46)if water is filled up every where(well pond excetra)(source of water),  how much of use from little well (source of water),for brahmin  knowing principles(thathvas) is that much use all vedas.  

 

47)you have authority only in karma.let there be no interest in karma fruit(result)

Don’t be cause of karma fruit.let there be no interest in leaving karma.

 

48) hey arjuna,without interest having equal feel in siddhi-asiddhi,existing in yoga do karma.equanimity of mind is yoga.

 

49)hey arjuna,’desired action’ is  (action with desire,kaamya karma) is very lower than buddhi yoga.(jnana yoga). Therefore depend upon intellect. Those who desire fruit are poor(humble,deenas)

 

50)one who is yuktha(suitable) by intellect  will leave both papa (sin)and punya

( good deed). Here only.therefore   try for yoga yoga is nothing but skill in works.(koushalya).

 

51)because inteligent jnanies leaving fruit of karma being relieed  from bondage of  birthswill athman supreme post(liberation)  which is sorrpwless.

 

52)when your intellect goes beyond fascination form of dirt then you will get disinterest which is  to be heard in future,heard in past,in matter of karma fruits.(result of karmas)

 

53)being disturbed  by shruthis(vedas),when your intellect becomes firm and immovable in samadhi(trance).then you will attain  yoga.

 

Arjuna told:

54)hey keshava,whar are features of’sthithaprajna’ in samadhi?what he will speak?how he sits?how he walks?

 

55) hey arjuna,who is joyful in athma(self)  in athma(self),when he gives up all desires of mind,yogi is then called’sthithaprajna’.(firm minded)

 

56)having mind without excitement in sorrows,desireless in joys,without any interest,fear,anger  such  muni(saint) is called’sthithaprajna’.

 

57)who  being disinterested  in all things ,when he gets  favourable and unfavourable matters will not get joy or hatred his prajna(consciousness) is  is firm.(sthithaprajna)

 

58)as tortoise withdraws  it’s organs inside this yogi whois jnananista(knowledge  sincere,jnanabound) when withdraws all senses  from their objects then his prajne(consciousness) is  firm.

 

59)objects of senses return back from body of foodless.but thirst is not over(not left).after realisation of parabrahma  his thirsts also  return  back.

 

60) Hey arjuna,disturbing sensest  even trialful and jnani’s mind also  will capture  forcibly.

 

61)therefore by controling all senses indulging in me becomes peaceful minded becomes whose senses are under control  his mind  will become  firm.

 

62 ,63)

For a man thinking  about  sense objects imnterests will be bornby interest lust appears.from lust anger is produced.from anger fascination  appears. By fascination  illusion of  memory.by memory illusion  destroys intellect..by destruction of intellect man will be destroyed.

 

64)but being relieved  by love and hatred by senses under his control,experiencing senses   samyitha(………….?)  minded man will attain peace.

 

65)if joy (satisfaction) of mind is attained   all his sorrows will be destroyed.because intellect of  pure minded man will   become firm quickly.

 

66)for  improper (ayuktha) personthere will be no intellect.for one is improper no feelings.to one who has no feelings no peace.to one who has no peace where is happiness.

 

67)because   mind  which  mooving senses like a boat in water is  taken away by opposite wind,will capture one’s prajna.

 

68) therefore one who controls(withdraws) all types of sense objects   in  all ways his sense (prajna,consciousness)is firm

 

69)which is night to all animals  in  that sense winner(jithendriya)awakened state.in which animals are awaken that is night to that is night to  seing muni.

 

70)  how rivers waters join sea which is complete moovmentless(firm) sea so also all  karmas  enter whom he will attain peace.one who has desires lust can’t have.s

 

71)which man   leaving all desires without affection without   ego wanders  will attain peace.

 

72)hey arjuna,this is  condition of man who is in brahma.by having this  nobody will become mad.even at end  age also,stays(remains)  in this condition attains brahma nirvana.

Chapter 3 karmayoga:

Arjuna told:

1)    Hey janardhana,in your openion if jnana is better than karma why do you make  me to   indulge  in severe(fearful)  work?

 

2)by words of opposite meaning you are illusing my intellect. By which I can get good decide only that and tell me

 

3)srikrishna told:

Hey sinless, I told you two kinds of sincirity(niste) through  jnanayoga saankhyas

Sincirity through yoga path sincirity (niste) of yogies.

 

4)a man will not attain naishkarmya(not doing even though doing) by not starting karmas and will not attain siddhi by mere karma renuniation

 

5)nobody  can remain without work even for a single  moment.because each will be doing karma being controlled by(driven by) gunas of prakruthi.

 

6)who controlling senses remembering sense objects by mind he is called’vimudhathma’,’mithyachari’.

 

7)hey arjuna,one who controlls  senses by mind,becoming interested through  karmendriya(motor organs,work organs) begins karmayoga.he excels (goes beyond,exceeds) false behaviors.

 

8)you do daily karmas(works) because  karma(doing) is better than akarma(non doing). By not doing karmas even life journey is not possible.

 

9)except karmas which are done for yajna,all other place people are   bound   by karmas.therefore arjunaBeing relieved by interest do karmas (properly).

 

9) in past prajapathi along with yajnas(sacrifices) you satisfy gods.let those gods also protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme  shreyas(improvement).

 

10)in past   prajapathi   along with yajna (sacrifice) created prajas(people) and told like this. By this you develop(im prove).let it be kamadhenu fulfilling your desires.

 

11)through yajna(sacrifice) you satisfied gods.let these gods also  protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme shreyas(improvement)

 

12) the god being satisfied by yajnas blesses enjoyments liked by you.if anybody uses those enjoyments  without giving to them he is thief only.

 

13)saints who eat remains of yajna will be liberated by all defects.but those sinners who cook for themselves they eat sins.

 

14)+15)by food(rice,anna) animals are produced.by yajna rain is produced.yajna is produced by karmas..karmas are produced by vedas.vedas are produced by letters(aksharas)therefore omnipresent  vedas are always based in yajnas.

 

16)hey arjuna,the world wheel  promoted like this in their way who does not follow here,sinful sense enjotments relaxing I senses(indriya arama) will live only as waste.

 

17)any man having love in himself(his own athma),being satisfied in self,being ot joyful in self he has no any kind of duties at all.

 

18)he has no use from karma performances. No harms by not doing karmas.and in all animals he has no use from relation of any kind.

 

19)therefore do necessary duties with interest.because interested person performing karmas attains liberation.

 

20)janaka excetra got siddhi (achievements;readyness) by performance of karmas.even by view of world welfare you are fit for doing karmas.

 

21)higher people what he celebrates will be followd by other people.what ever he does as evidence world follows the same.

 

22)hey arjuna,in these worlds I have no duties. There is nothing  which I should possess or not posses.in spite of this I am in  karmas.

 

23)hey arjuna, if I cautiously do not engage in karmas always, people follow my path  by all means.

 

24)if I don’t do karmas these worlds will be destroyed.i will be doer of caste mixing(varna sankara) and I will be destroyer of  these people.

 

25)hey arjuna,ignorants  who are interested in karma, in same way  interested jnani desiring world welfare  should do karmas.

 

26)hey arjuna,ignorants interested in  karmas how they do karmas , one should not produce intellect differentiation.jnani performing krmas properly should get done by others also.(ignorants).

 

27)gunas(charecters) of nature do karmas by all means.an ignorant with egoful mind considers’I am doer’.

 

28)but hey arjuna,one who knowsprinciples of  divisions of  guna karmas will not get interest thinking  that’senses indulge in sense objects’

 

29)one who is carried away by illusion  of charecters(gunas) of nature,ome interested in guna karmas.jnani should not shake(disturb) those little knowing dullards.

 

30)by adhyathmic mind(philosophical mind) dedicating me all karmas(works) without desires  affection and pain do work.

 

31)those people interested (sincere),jealousyless who perform myopenions(thoughts)they also will be relieved by karmas.

 

32)but those jealousy people who don’t practice my openions(words) understand as all knowledgeless dullards(ignorants),spoiled one,intellectless.

 

33)even jnani(those who are having knowledge) walks(behaves)  according to nature.animals  have their nature.when it is like this what can control do?

 

34) in matter of all senses love and hatreds reside.one should not  be under control of  both because they are his enemies.

 

35)gunaless  self-religion is  is better than well practiced paradharma(other religion).even death is good in svadharma.(self-religion) other religion is fearful

 

36)arjuna tol:

Hey krishna,this man though not wishing,by what is inducted forced controled  na comits sins like that?

 

srikrishna told:

37)  this is lust. This is anger.this is born by rajoguna(rajas   character).this is all eater. Great sinner,consider this as enemy here.

 

38)how fire by smoke,mirror by dirt,uterus(womb)  by membrane of  jaraayu(placenta) like that knowledge is covered by lust.

 

39)hey arjuna  to jnani eternal enemy,difficult to fulfil,dificult to satisfy(unsatisfiable) by this lust jnana is covered.

 

40)senses are suporters of(residence of) mind and intellect.this by these covering jnana(knowledge) fascinates jiva(life).

 

41)hey arjuna,therefore you first controling senses destroy this sinner who destroys jnana and vijnana.

 

42) senses are higher  they say.mind is higher than senses..intellect is higher than mind..but who is higher than intellect is athma.(self).

 

43)hey arjuna, like this knowing what is higher than intellect,standind  mind by mind destroy this  lust which is enemy difficult to win.

Third chapter karmayoga is completed

Chapter 4.jnana  yoga(yoga of knowledge):

Srikrishna told:

1)this  avyaya (non  reducing) yoga  i told to sun,sun told to manu.manu told to  ekshvaaku.

 

2)hey arjuna,this avyaya yoga  was known by  rajarshies.that yoga which was for  long time it was lost.

 

3)as you are my devotee and friend this ancient yoga  was told by me to you.because this is better secret.

 

4) your birth is recent one, sun’s birth is  previous one. How shall I know that you had  adviced earlier?

 

5)hey arjuna,between me and you many births have passed.hey supreme penancier,I know all of them.you don’t know.

 

Sri krishna told:

6)Though I am birthless,reductionless(avyaya)regulater of all animals ,depending upon my  nature  I incarnate through maya.

 

7)hey arjuna,when ever there is fall of religion(dharma,ethics)when non religion develops then I incarnate.

 

8)For protection of saadhus(saints), for destruction of wicked,and for establishment of  dharma I incarnate in every yuga(epoch)

 

9)hey arjuna,one who understands my divine  incarnation,karmas (works)as it is

He after renunciation (rejection) of body will have no rebirth.he will attain me   only.

 

10)without  interest-fear-anger having mind in  me(rooted in me)depending only upon me,by penance in knowledge form(jnana rupa) attains me(my feet) becoming holy.

 

11)who how depends upon me.i bless them like that only. Hey arjuna,men by all methods(means) follow my path.

 

12)desiring for  siddhies  of karmas,people worship gods.because in human world the siddhies is got by karmas   is very fast.

 

13) four varnas were created by me through decesion of guna karmas(nature).

But though   I does know me as  avyya(reductionless) and non doer.

 

14)ancient mumukshus(those desiring for liberation),knowing like this were doing works.therefore you do those ancient karmas as done by your ancesters.

 

15)ancient mumukshus knowing like this  were doing their karmas.-therefore you do old  karma  done by your ancients.

 

16) which is karma which is akarma in this even jnanies are also illused.therefore by knowing which you will be relieved by  bad that karma I will tell you.

 

17)there are karmas  to be understood in  vikarmas  and  akarmas.(karmalessness).because path of moovment of karma is difficult to understand.

 

18)who sees  akarma in karma and karma in akarma he is intelligent man among men. He is yuktha and had done all karmas

 

19))whose all karmas are  relieved  by kamasankalpas(decision (determination)of desires),whose  karmas are burnt by  fire of knowledge him  jnanies call scholar.

 

20)leaving desires in result of karmas if one is eternally satisfied,indulges in karmas  without any dependency(independently),he is not doing anything.

21)yogi without any desires who has controled mind bodysenses(sense organs)only doing works needed for body protecton will not get contaminated.

 

22)one who is satisfied in what is got by itself,beyond duals,(dvandvas),jealousyless,having equal  mind in profit and losssuch yogi is not bound  even if he does karmas

 

23)interested liberated ,one whose mind has resided in  nana and one who performs karma  foy yajna sake(sacrifice) to such yogi karma will be destroyed totally.

 

24) dedication is brahma,offering havis is brahma,in brahma form fire  sacrifice was done  by brahma only.in brahma form karma  by man in samadhi(trance)  what is to be got is brahma only.

 

25)few yogies worship (upaasane) god’s yajna only;few others  do sacrifice(yajna) in brahma form fire self by self only.

 

26)still few people  do yajna all sense(organ) karmas in control fire only.still few do yajna   of sense objects  in sense fire.

 

27)still few all senses  karmas and prana karmas do  yajna(sacrifice) by self control yoga fire enlightened by knowledge.

 

28)few do material  donation form  yajna. Do  yajna of penance form.few perform  self study form and knowledge form  yajna.all these ar firm rituals(vrathi)  yathies.

 

29)few prana air in apana air,apana vayu(air) in prana air, do sacrifice.again few opposing(controling) moovments of both prana and apana do pranayama of kumbhaka.

 

30)few others by havimg limited food do airs of pranain prana air only perform sacrifice.all these are  knowers of yajna and who  have   removed sin by yajnas(sacrifices).

 

31)one who eats remains of yajna called amrutha they will attain ancient brahma.hey high among kurus,for one who does not do yajna when there is no this world only from  where other world will come?

 

32)like this many knds of yajnas are  extended in  doors of  vedas.know all those are  born from karmas.if known like this you will become free.

 

33)hey supreme penancier,than godly(divineful)  yajnas  jnana(knowledge)  yajna  is higher.hey arjuna hey arjunaall karmas end in jnana.

 

34)know it by  by long namaskarams,by  humble  concerned questions,by guru’s service.all karmas end in  jnana ,without  remainder(shesha)

 

35)hey pondava,if you get jnana  again will not have fascination;by knowledge you will see  all animals in self and me also .

 

36)though you have committed more sins than all sinners,that all sin you will cross   over by boat of knowledge.

 

37)hey arjuna,how well burning  fire  burns wood into   ashes  like that fire of knowledge will burn all karmas into ashes.

 

38)in this world there is no  holy thing equal to knowledge.one who has siddhi by yoga gradually will get that jnana in himself by himself.

 

39)one who is sincere(interested),engaged n that(thathpara),sense winner(jithendriya)    mumukshu(desirer of liberation) will have knowledge. By sgetting knowledge will get supreme peace soon.

 

40)knowledgeless,sincirityless,doubtful self-all these three will be destroyed.to doubtful self no this world no other wirld,no joy also.

 

41)hey arjuna,,who has renunciated all karmas by yoga,one who has destroyed doubts  by knowledge,selfful (athmavantha) man karmas can’t bind.

Chapter 5.sanyasa yoga:

Arjuna spoke:

1)hey krishna,tou tell about sanyasa of karmasand also performance(anustana) also.among these both which is higher(shreyaskara)  tell me it firmly.

 

2)renenciation and karmayoga-these both produce  liberation(moksha).but among them rather than karma renunciation karmayoga is better.

 

3)Who does not hate does not desire he should be known as nithya sanyasi(eternal sanyasi).because hey mahabaho(great armed)  one without dvandvas  (dualls) without tiredness will be liberated by  family bondage.

 

4)ignorants tell jnanayoga and karmayoga are different.but scholars won’t say like that.among these two one who practices well  will attain fruits of both.

 

5)the place which jnananistas(knowledge sincere) that will  be attained by nishkama karma yogies also.who sees jnanayoga and karmayoga as one  he is real seer.

 

6)but hey mahabaho(great armed),without help of karmayoga it is difficult to have sanyasa.muni who has practiced yoga attains brahma quickly.

7)joined with yoga puresellf, self winner(vijithathma) winner of senses, who thinks  self of all animals feela as his own self,such muni that  man  though doing karmais not attached

 

8+9)a yogi who is philosopher when he see,touches,smells,while eats,walks, breaths,while talks,while leavibg,while taking,while opens eye,closes eye, deciding that senses   indulge in  their own objects should know ‘ I am not doing anything’.

 

10)who puts karmas in eshwara,leaving interest in karma fruits(results) performs karma he-lke lotus leaf not attached to  water-will not be attached by sins.

 

11)by body mind intellect  and senses yogies leaving interest  in results(fruits),doing karma for sathva shuddhi.

 

12) yogi leaving interest in karma fruits attains peace in form of  sincirity(niste).

One who is not suitable(unfit) by lust induction  getting interest in fruit gets bound.

 

13)man who  has won senses leaving all karmas by mind,without doing anything  in body with nine doors without  getting done anything will be happy.

 

14)athma(self) has not created  doership to people, no kaema, no karma fruit relation.but  by  nature only does work.

 

15)self will not  take anybody’s  sin or punya(good deed).,knowledge is covered by ignarance. Therefore animals are  are geting fascinated.

 

16)but by athma jnana(self knowledge)  whose ignorance is destroyed their self knowledge like sun will make parabrahma to shine.

 

17)who  have firm intellect in brahma only,who has kept mind in  brahma only,who are sincere to brahma(brahmanistas),who remembers brahma only as fate,who have washed   dirt  by  jnana they will attain moksha.

 

18)brahmin with   education  and humbleness ,cow,elephant,dog and dog muton eater-in both these  jnanies are  equal visioned. (samadrishti)

 

19)whose mind is standing in brahmathey will win family here only.because brahma is defectless and equal.therefore they stand in brahma only

 

20)brahmajnani who has firm mind,fascinationless,who exists in brahma only,should not become  happy by having favourable(like)  and should not shrink by having unfavourable(dislike).

 

21)one who is not interested in  sound excetra external objects will have peace in inner mind(anthahkarana).this yogi who  has self with brahmayoga(athmayoga) gets eternal(reductionless,akshaya) joy.

 

22)hey arjuna,those enjoyments produced by union of senses and objects,they are cause of sorrow and have production and destruction.jnani does not rest(play) with them.

 

23)before fall of body (death) who tollerates  speed produced by kama(lust)and anger he is only yogi.he is happy man.

 

24)one who finds joy in athma only,rests in athma,like that has light   in athma(self) that yogi attains  brahma form(brahma svarupa) and gets liberation.

 

25)dirtless,dvandvaless(beyond duals)sense wimmers engaged in favour of all animals rushies will attain liberation.

 

26)those who are relieved by lust(kaama) and anger,those with controlled mind,

Those who understand athma properlyto those yogies(yathies) brahma nirvana

(liberation) is present everywhere.

 

27+28)keeping away external matters,keeping vision between  eye brows,making prana and apaana mooving inside nose equal,muni who has controlled senses mind  intellect  liberation  sincere (paraayana),without desireless  fearless  angerless he is always liberated.

 

29)enjoyer of yajna abd penance,maheshwara of all worlds,suhruth(good heart) of all animals nowing me like this,yogi attains peace.

 

Chapter  5 of sanyasayoga is completed

Chapter 6.dhyanayoga(meditation yoga):s

 

Sri krishna told:

1)without depending upon karma fruits one who does what is to be done he himself is sanyasi and he himself is yogi,one  without  fire(only sanyasi) ,action person(only yogi) should  not  be understood.

 

2)hey arjuna,what is called sanyasa call that only as sanyasa know that itself as yoga. Because nobody who   unless renunciates determination can,t become yogi.

 

3)to muni who wans  to have yoga karma is means it is told.to muni who is yogarudha peace is means it is said.

 

4)this yogi  not gets interest  in sense objects, in karmas,when he  renunciates  all determinations then he is called yogaruda

 

5)self should be developed by self only.should not shrink  by himself.because mind only is  one’s relative, mind itself  is   enemy.

 

6)by whose athma(self)  one’s mind is won,to such athma  mind is relative.

But for one who has not won senses one’s mind is in feel of hatred like enemy

 

7)for one who has  won  one’s  mind ,peaceful in heat and cold,firm in joys and sorrows ,honour and dishonour athma(self) is  specially united(samaahitha).

 

8) one who has peace of mind(satisfied mind) ,kutastha(firm),sense winnerwho sees soil stone gold equally,that yogi is called ‘yuktha’.

 

9)in good hearted  friend enemy negligent,middle one, hateble,-in all these,in saadhus(saints) and sinners one who has equal  intellect(mind) is high among yogaruda.

 

10)living in peopleless place alone,controling body and mind,desireless,,not accepting anything(aparigrahi)  yogi should always keep his mind in yoga.

 

11)in clearn  place putting one upon another-kusha(darbhe),leather,cloth ,firm  too high or too low putting asana(posture)-

 

12)siting on that  position(asana),concentrating mind,,one who controls  mind and senses should yoga for  purification of mind(innermind).

 

13,14)keeping body,head,and neck equally and firm,firmly  observing  tip of nose

,without seing directions,as peaceful and fearlessmaintaining in celibecy(brahmacharya),,controling mind,keeping mind in me only,thinking myself as para(high) should be proper(yuktha).

 

15)yogi who has controled mind,keeping himself in yoga always, will attain supreme nirvana and peace in me.

 

16)hey arjuna,there no yoga for one who eats excessively and for who eats very  less.to one who sleeps excessively and who is awaken much no yoga.

 

17)yoga destroys sorrow to him who is limited in food and walk,in karmasand in sleep and awakenness.

 

18)when controled mind stands in athma,then,having no desires in all karmas,is called yogi.

 

19)to yogi practicing athma yoga to his mind is given similieof’like a lamp undisturbed by a non blowing air region.

 

20,21,22,23)when by practice(service) f yoga controled mind becomes peaceful,when feels happy seing athma by pure mind in himselfand when knows intellectually grasps ,beyond senses,that joyfulness ,by staying in which does not moov by principle(thathva),by having whichdoes not consider any profit higher than that,by staying in which does not moov,even by great sorrows,that yogashould be considered(known).as yogawhich removes relation of sorrow.such yoga should be practiced.with decided(fixed and enthusiastic mind.

 

24,25)rejecting all kamas(lusts) totallywhich are practiced by decision (determination) controling all sides of  group of senses  by mind only

,with bold intellect should return slowly. Making  mind to stand in self(athma) nothing should be thought.

 

26)fickle,non firm mind comes out by which matters  controling  mind  from  that matters(objects)should be controlled in  athma.

 

27)peaceful minded,rajoless(desireless),dirtless,having brahma feelthat which yogi  gets better joy.

 

28)like this always keeping athma in yoga dirtless yogi without strain gets higher joy which is called’brahma touch’(brahma samsparsha).

 

29)equal   visioned every  where yogaful athma(yoga yukthathma) sees athma in all animals,and all animals   in athma.

 

30)who sees me everywhereand sees everything in me to him  I will not go without being seen  and  he will not go without seing me.

 

31)one who is residing in ekathva(oneness of all,samyak darshana)  who in all animals and worships me ,then yogi resides in myself,how ever he may be.

 

32)hey arjuna,one who sees equallyjoys and sorrowsin all animalsthat yogiis called high(shresta)(supreme).this is my openion.

 

Arjuna told:

33)hey madhusudana,which  yoga of samathva rupa(equality form)is told,as mind is ficklei am not seing it’s firm condition.

 

34)hey krishna,mind is fickle,of the nature of producing  disturbance(distraction),strong,firm,.it’s control is very  difficult like that of air.

 

srikrishna told:

35) hy mahabaho(great armed),mind is very difficult to control and fickle(unfirm).it is doubtful.hey arjuna, sby practice and dejection (disattachment) it can be controlled.

 

36)it is my openionthat yoga is not attainable(difficult to attain) to one who has not controled mind.but to triajful   sense winner(jithendriya)(by above said) plan(technique) it is possible to attain

 

Arjuna told:

37)hey krishna,even if one is sincere one who does not try and who has mind mooved awayby yoga that man,without getting yogasiddhi will attain which moovment(fate,gathi)

 

38)hey mahabaho great armed,,innocent in path of  attainment of brahma,ubhaya brasta(out of order on both sides?) ,non dependent (purusha)

 Will he not get destroyed like  broken cloud?

 

39)hey krishna,this my doubt you are fit to remove remainderlessly.except you nobody will be there to  solve this doubt.

 

Srikrishna told:

40)hey arjuna,to yogabhrasta (faiien from yoga)  in this world and other world there is no destruction.  Because ono does welfare works will not get lower level.

 

41)yogabhrasta(fallen down from yoga,out of order) having world of punya people.living there for many years,later  takes birth  good behaved(sadachara) and rich people.

 

42)or takes birth in intellectual(dheemantha) yogies family.such birth in this world is  difficult t get.

 

43)hey  kuru  nandana(divine kuru) there  related to previous lifewill get relation of intellect.thogh he is jignasu(desire of knowing ) of yoga .later for it’s siddhi trys vesy much.

 

44)by that previous practice he will be attracted dependently(not independently). Though he is jignasu(desir for know) of yoga   excels fruits of karmas  told by vedas.

 

45)one who is practicimg by trial(efferts) kilbishsa less(dirtless,defectless)having siddhi from many births ,such yogiafterwards attains supreme   fate(gathi,moovment).

 

46)it is my penion that yogi is higher than penanciers,,jnanies,and karmies

(who do karmas).hey arjuna become yogi.

 

47)one who is sincereand who  worships by mind having me,he is higher than all yogies.this is my openion.

9)whom brahma,   varuna,indra, rudra,marudganas praise by divine sthothras  whom saanagas(sama reciters)  anga pada krama upanishaths  containibg vedas sing,whom yogies  see by mind indulged in meditation,whose end divine and demon groups  can’t understand namaskarams to such god.

arjuna   condolance yoga:

dhrutharastra told:

1)hey,sanjaya,in kurukshethra which is  dharmakshethra, joined for the sake of war, what did our people and pandavas do?

 

Sanjaya told:

2)king dhuryodhana at  that time seing army of pandavas arranged in wirl form(shape),came to drona ,told this word.

 

3)hey,acharya see this big army constructed by dhrustadyumna who is your desciple,in   telligent,son of drupada.

 

4to 6)in middle of pandava army big archery  specialists (billugaararu……………?…)

Equal to  bhima and  arjuna,valients,yuyudhana,,virata  king  maharatha drupada , drustakethu,chekithana, valient kasi king,purujitthu,kunthi bhoja,high human shybya, valient yudhaamanyu,valient uttamoujassu and subhadra’s son,droupadi’s sons are there.these are all maharathas only.

 

7)hey brahmana,in our party who are predominants(chiefs) and army chiefs,know them.for your memory I will tell their names.

 

8)you,bhishma,war winner krupa,ashwatthama,vikarna,bhurishravassu who is son of somadattha and jayadratha.

 

9) and for my sake  to give up prana determu=ined  still many valients are there.all are   efficient in  various kinds of weapon hits(shasthra prahara…………..?)

And experts in war.

 

10) our army protected by bhishma is unlimited.but that army protected by bhima is limited.

 

11)all of you should stay at all  whirl doors(vyuhadvaara),in your parts should protect bhishma only.

 

12)elder in kuru group powerful   grand father  bhishma to pruduce enthusiasm to dhuryodhana from high note(tone) doing lion roar  blowd cone(shankha)

 

13)afterwards cones(shankhas) drums,and doles mrudangas gomukhas  excetra instruments(musical)  at once sounded. That war sound was fearful.

 

14)afterwards   siting in  white horses tied    great chariots  sri krishna and arjunas  

Blowing their  other worldly(aloukika)  cones.

 

15) hrishikesha blowd paanchajanya,arjuna blowd devadattha cone.bhima who can do dangerous karmas  blowd cone by name poundra.

 

16)kunthi’s son yudhistara  king blowd cone by name ananthavijaya,nakula and sahadeva  blowd sumoghamani pushpaka  cone(shankha).

 

17+18)hey land lord,(king),big archerian kashi king,maharatha shikhandi,,drustadyumna,viraata,  undefeatable saathyaki,king drupada,,droupadi’s five childern  prathivindhya excetra,great valient abhimanyu-all those blowd their cones(shankhas) seperately.

 

19)and that fearful  echoing in sky and earth split kouravas hearts.

 

20+21)hey king,,later monkey flaged(kapidhvaja) arjuna seing at kouravas who were ready for war,as time had come to  weapon treasure( shasthra nikshepa),held liting bow ,told to sri krishna like this.

 

22+23)till   I  see these people  with desire for war,till I decide with whom  I have to make war and till I see all those  valients who have  gathered here to produce war love  in  wicked dhuryodhana   such war desirers,till I see,hey krishna stand my chariot  in  between two armies

 

Sanjata told:

24+25) hey,dhritharastra,on telling like this,srikrishna stopped stope

d in between two armies ,in front of bhishma drona and other kings,stoping his better chariot,hey, arjuna  see all these kouravas gathered for sake of war.

 

26)afterwards arjuna  saw in both  armies fathers(uncles and big fathers,) grand fathers,gurus ,nephewies,elder and younger brothers,childerns,equal aged friends,father-inlaws  and   friends.

 

27)arjuna on seing all  those relatives with extrardinary kindness  told these words sadly.

 

ARJuna told:

28)hey,krishna on seing  these our people wth war desire  my organs are shrinking and face is also drying up.

 

29)in my body there is vibration and excitement.from hand gandiva is sliping  and falling and skin is also getting heated.

 

30)hey,keshava, is not possible  for me to stand also.my mind is feeling giddyby ficklenes  and I am also seing shakunas( bad signs) which are hinting non welfare(amangala).

 

31)+32):hey krishna if I kill good people(gentlemen) in war nobody can see shreyas(welfare).I WONT  DESIRE FOR   KINGSHIP    ALSO.HEY,GOVIMDA  WHAT IS TO HAPPEN BY STATE.WHAT IS USE OF  ENJOYMENT  OR WEARING    LIHE.?

 

33+34)hor whom sake  kingdon(state) enjoyments,joys are needed such these acharyas,uncles,big fathers childern and grandsons brother inlaws and others have  given pprana(life) and money  are standing in  war field.

 

35) hey,madhusudana even if I am killed for kingdom(state) of three worlds do not wan’t to kill them,what shall I say for this  earth?

 

36)hey,janardhana, if I kill these kouravas  what   good will happen?if I kill these sinners sin only  comes to us.

 

37)therefore to kill our relatives   kouravas we are not fit. Because hey,madhava by killing our people   how can we be happy?

 

38)+39:by desire of kingdom(state) occupied these people,without seing destruction of kula(family, caste)the sin of friends  cheating (traiter),hey janardhana we by knowing the defects of destruction of family (race) should return from this sinful wok why can’t we go back?

 

40) if family is destroyed permanent  caste religions  become destroyed,and if dharma  is lost all castes will be occupied (controlled)by  adharma

 

41)hey krishna,as adharma increases family females will get  spoiled.hey varshneya.if females become wicked  mix of colours (varnas)will  occur.

 

42)  intercaste to those who destroy families  and families will pruduce hell attainment.his fathers  without pithru shraaddha rituals they fall down  from  pithru loka(father’s world) .

 

43)family destroyers  lead  to varna mix (intercaste).by these defects   permanent caste religions and family religions  will be destroyed.

 

44)hey, jahey janardhanafor these people who have destroyed family religions(dharmas)have to reside  in hell for long time we have heard.

 

45) by which reason desiring to state joy(joy of kingdom)when we try to kill people,for same reasons we have decided to to do great sins.

 

46)not reacting in any way  weaponless me weapon   wearing kouravas kill,it will be more  safer for me.

 

Sanjaya told:

47)in warfieldwith sorrow disturbed mind arjuna  telling like this  removing (renunciating) bows and arrows,sat on chariot.

 

 Now arjuna vishaada yoga is completed.

Chapter  2(saankhya  yoga):

Sanjaya spoke:

1)in this way,kindful,filling tears blured eyes,griefsticken arjuna,madhusudana told like this.

2) hey,arjuna this unfit,opposite heavenly moovment bringing ill fame this fascination during this unequal(vishama) time how did it came to you?

 

3)hey,arjuma don’t be sterile(shandathana).this is not suitable for you..hey pain maker of enemies,leave this low mental weakness and rise.

 

Arjuna told:

4)hey enemy killar,madhusudana,fit for worshp bhishma drona how shall I face with arrows?

 

5)without killing great people(gurus),in this world it is better to eat beged foodis is better (higher).but if I kill  money desiring gurus,have to experience blood sticken(blood smeared) enjoyments  in this world only.

 

6)wheather we  will win or they only will win,which is better among these two that also we don’t know.whom we does not want to kill those kouravas  are standing in front of us..

 

7)shrunken by defect of humbleness,having foolish mind,I am asking this question to you.you decide and tell me which is better.i am your desciple.teach me who is surendered to you only.

 

8)on this earth  even if you posses enemy less  prospherus country(state),even if you have lordship on gods,which will solve this  my sorrow which are drying up senses.such techniques I don’t know.

 

Sanjaya told:

9)pain striken by enemies,arjuna told like this to   srikrishna that he  will not do war and kept quiet.

 

10)hey dhrutharastra,to sorrowful arjuna,standing in between two armies srikrishna told like this with laugh.

 

Srikrishna told:

11)you are sorrowing about those  who are not fit for sorrowing and speaking words of jnani.scholars don’t’  feel  sorry about  dead  or living people.

 

12)there is no time when I was not there.no time  when you, myself and these kings were not there.in future also there is no time when we will not be there.(  ie we will be present for ever)

 

13)to self(athma)with body,in this bodyhow childhood,youth,old age occurs,in the same way occurrence of another body also in this matter jnani  will  not become  mad.

 

14) hey kunthi’s sontouches(contacts) between senses and objects ,yield cold-heat,joy-sorrow,they are nature of coming and going.nonermanent.thereforeHey  arjuna bear with them.

 

15)because ,hey    high among  men who considers  joy and sorrow    (purusha shresta)equally,willl not disturb that  man who is jnani.he is fit for amruthathva(deathlessness).

 

16)non existant does not exist.existant has no destruction. This decission between

These two ,jnanies  will understand.

 

17)by which all this  is  know it as indestructable .nobody is efficient to think of  destruction of avyaya(destructionless,reductionless)

 

18)eternal,indestructable,aprameya(who can’t be proved,understood,measured)

 Body of this athma is temporary say jnanies.therefore arjuna do war.

 

19)he will be never born.no death.he is not pruduced  previously  and will also be not destroyed.he is birthless,eternal,permanent,old.even though body is destroyed he will nnot be destroyed.

 

20)one who thinks he  is killar or he is killed,who thinks like this both  does not know.this   athma(self)will not  kill ,nor neing killed.

 

21)hey partha,this athma is indestructable.(avinashi),eternal.birthless ,not reduced   one who knows like this that man will how  whom he will kill how? 

Whom he will make to kill?

 

22)as man leaves old clothes and wears   new clothes  like that athma with body leaves degenerating bodies and wears new bodies.

 

23)weapons can’t cut athma. Fire  can’t   burn water can’t wet,air can’t dry.

 

24)this athma can’t   be  cut, can’t be burnt  ,can’t be wet,can’t be dried..he is eternal,,all pervading,firm,non mooving, ancient.

 

25)he is unexpressed-unthinkable,changeless,.therefore by understanding him,you should not have sorrow.

 

26)in case if you think ‘athma’is always taking birth and always dieng hey,mahabahu(great armed) then also  you should not  be sorrowful

 

27)because to  born death is definite  and for dead birth is sure.therefore in unsolvable matter you should not be sorrpwful.

 

28) hey arjuna,animals are not seen   before birth.  seen after birth.not seen after  destruction(death).why sorrow during this time?

 

29)one sees this athma as a wonder.in sane way  another tells as womder.another sees him like a wonder.and another even if he hears won’t understand.

 

30)hey arjuna,athma who is in body of all(every body’s body) won’t  gets  destroyed forever.therefore you  should  not be sorrowful about all animals.

 

31)even if you look   at  svadharma (self religion) you should not fear because rather than religious war no other shreyas(good) to kshathriya.

 

32) hey arjuna war which has come  without ppraying and opening door to heaven,such war,only lucky kshathriyas will get.

 

33)if you don’t do this religious war,for that reason you will destroy svadharma and fame and will get sin.

 

34) not only this,people will talk about your ill fame.for gentleman this  this ill fame is more than death.

 

35)maharathi’s will think that you have returnes from war out of fear..to whom you were much respectable(honourable) will become light in front of them only.

 

36)   your  enemies blaming your ability will talk untalkable talks what is more sorrowful   than that?

 

37)hey arjuna,if you are killed you will get  heaven.if you winyou will enjoy earth globe.so decide to do war and rise up

 

38)considering  joys and sorrows,profit and losses,success and failure as equal be ready to make war.if you do like this you will not become sinful.

 

39)hey,arjuna this  intellect(advice) was told to you in saankhya.according to sankhya.you have this with references with yoga.if you come to know this knowledge you will  tear out bondage in the form of karma.s

 

40)this karma started in karmayoga is not  destroyer.for leaving  after starting there   will be no defect. Even little anustana(daily ritual or practice) of this religion of karmayoga will protect from great fear.

 

41)hey ,arjuna,in this karma yoga fixed nature of intellect will be firm in one(aspect).those intellects which are not fixed are of many branches and infinet.

Hey,arjuna avivekies (who are not able to decide good and bad)

Interested in  vedic sentences(except karmas  which are means of  this world fruits,those who argue(there is nothing else lustful,(desireful  those who consider heaven is important ,these people to  get worldly wealth given by karmas,to  techniques combined with  various  activities speak those words which are ‘apaatha manohara’(beautiful talk……?)mind captured  away by  these talks leaving interest in worldly wealths,there will not be fixed intellects.

 

45) hey arjunavedas talk about thriguna matters.(therefore you)thriguna less , dual less, always having sathva guna(nature),without any yogakshemas,athmaful man.

 

46)if water is filled up every where(well pond excetra)(source of water),  how much of use from little well (source of water),for brahmin  knowing principles(thathvas) is that much use all vedas.  

 

47)you have authority only in karma.let there be no interest in karma fruit(result)

Don’t be cause of karma fruit.let there be no interest in leaving karma.

 

48) hey arjuna,without interest having equal feel in siddhi-asiddhi,existing in yoga do karma.equanimity of mind is yoga.

 

49)hey arjuna,’desired action’ is  (action with desire,kaamya karma) is very lower than buddhi yoga.(jnana yoga). Therefore depend upon intellect. Those who desire fruit are poor(humble,deenas)

 

50)one who is yuktha(suitable) by intellect  will leave both papa (sin)and punya

( good deed). Here only.therefore   try for yoga yoga is nothing but skill in works.(koushalya).

 

51)because inteligent jnanies leaving fruit of karma being relieed  from bondage of  birthswill athman supreme post(liberation)  which is sorrpwless.

 

52)when your intellect goes beyond fascination form of dirt then you will get disinterest which is  to be heard in future,heard in past,in matter of karma fruits.(result of karmas)

 

53)being disturbed  by shruthis(vedas),when your intellect becomes firm and immovable in samadhi(trance).then you will attain  yoga.

 

Arjuna told:

54)hey keshava,whar are features of’sthithaprajna’ in samadhi?what he will speak?how he sits?how he walks?

 

55) hey arjuna,who is joyful in athma(self)  in athma(self),when he gives up all desires of mind,yogi is then called’sthithaprajna’.(firm minded)

 

56)having mind without excitement in sorrows,desireless in joys,without any interest,fear,anger  such  muni(saint) is called’sthithaprajna’.

 

57)who  being disinterested  in all things ,when he gets  favourable and unfavourable matters will not get joy or hatred his prajna(consciousness) is  is firm.(sthithaprajna)

 

58)as tortoise withdraws  it’s organs inside this yogi whois jnananista(knowledge  sincere,jnanabound) when withdraws all senses  from their objects then his prajne(consciousness) is  firm.

 

59)objects of senses return back from body of foodless.but thirst is not over(not left).after realisation of parabrahma  his thirsts also  return  back.

 

60) Hey arjuna,disturbing sensest  even trialful and jnani’s mind also  will capture  forcibly.

 

61)therefore by controling all senses indulging in me becomes peaceful minded becomes whose senses are under control  his mind  will become  firm.

For a man thinking  about  sense objects imnterests will be bornby interest lust appears.from lust anger is produced.from anger fascination  appears. By fascination  illusion of  memory.by memory illusion  destroys intellect..by destruction of intellect man will be destroyed.

 

64)but being relieved  by love and hatred by senses under his control,experiencing senses   samyitha(………….?)  minded man will attain peace.

 

65)if joy (satisfaction) of mind is attained   all his sorrows will be destroyed.because intellect of  pure minded man will   become firm quickly.

 

66)for  improper (ayuktha) personthere will be no intellect.for one is improper no feelings.to one who has no feelings no peace.to one who has no peace where is happiness.

 

67)because   mind  which  mooving senses like a boat in water is  taken away by opposite wind,will capture one’s prajna.

 

68) therefore one who controls(withdraws) all types of sense objects   in  all ways his sense (prajna,consciousness)is firm

 

69)which is night to all animals  in  that sense winner(jithendriya)awakened state.in which animals are awaken that is night to that is night to  seing muni.

 

70)  how rivers waters join sea which is complete moovmentless(firm) sea so also all  karmas  enter whom he will attain peace.one who has desires lust can’t have.s

 

71)which man   leaving all desires without affection without   ego wanders  will attain peace.

 

72)hey arjuna,this is  condition of man who is in brahma.by having this  nobody will become mad.even at end  age also,stays(remains)  in this condition attains brahma nirvana.

Chapter 3 karmayoga:

Arjuna told:

1)    Hey janardhana,in your openion if jnana is better than karma why do you make  me to   indulge  in severe(fearful)  work?

 

2)by words of opposite meaning you are illusing my intellect. By which I can get good decide only that and tell me

 

3)srikrishna told:

Hey sinless, I told you two kinds of sincirity(niste) through  jnanayoga saankhyas

Sincirity through yoga path sincirity (niste) of yogies.

 

4)a man will not attain naishkarmya(not doing even though doing) by not starting karmas and will not attain siddhi by mere karma renuniation

 

5)nobody  can remain without work even for a single  moment.because each will be doing karma being controlled by(driven by) gunas of prakruthi.

 

6)who controlling senses remembering sense objects by mind he is called’vimudhathma’,’mithyachari’.

 

7)hey arjuna,one who controlls  senses by mind,becoming interested through  karmendriya(motor organs,work organs) begins karmayoga.he excels (goes beyond,exceeds) false behaviors.

 

8)you do daily karmas(works) because  karma(doing) is better than akarma(non doing). By not doing karmas even life journey is not possible.

 

9)except karmas which are done for yajna,all other place people are   bound   by karmas.therefore arjunaBeing relieved by interest do karmas (properly).

 

9) in past prajapathi along with yajnas(sacrifices) you satisfy gods.let those gods also protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme  shreyas(improvement).

 

10)in past   prajapathi   along with yajna (sacrifice) created prajas(people) and told like this. By this you develop(im prove).let it be kamadhenu fulfilling your desires.

 

11)through yajna(sacrifice) you satisfied gods.let these gods also  protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme shreyas(improvement)

 

12) the god being satisfied by yajnas blesses enjoyments liked by you.if anybody uses those enjoyments  without giving to them he is thief only.

 

13)saints who eat remains of yajna will be liberated by all defects.but those sinners who cook for themselves they eat sins.

 

14)+15)by food(rice,anna) animals are produced.by yajna rain is produced.yajna is produced by karmas..karmas are produced by vedas.vedas are produced by letters(aksharas)therefore omnipresent  vedas are always based in yajnas.

 

16)hey arjuna,the world wheel  promoted like this in their way who does not follow here,sinful sense enjotments relaxing I senses(indriya arama) will live only as waste.

 

17)any man having love in himself(his own athma),being satisfied in self,being ot joyful in self he has no any kind of duties at all.

 

18)he has no use from karma performances. No harms by not doing karmas.and in all animals he has no use from relation of any kind.

 

19)therefore do necessary duties with interest.because interested person performing karmas attains liberation.

 

20)janaka excetra got siddhi (achievements;readyness) by performance of karmas.even by view of world welfare you are fit for doing karmas.

 

21)higher people what he celebrates will be followd by other people.what ever he does as evidence world follows the same.

 

22)hey arjuna,in these worlds I have no duties. There is nothing  which I should possess or not posses.in spite of this I am in  karmas.

 

23)hey arjuna, if I cautiously do not engage in karmas always, people follow my path  by all means.

 

24)if I don’t do karmas these worlds will be destroyed.i will be doer of caste mixing(varna sankara) and I will be destroyer of  these people.

 

25)hey arjuna,ignorants  who are interested in karma, in same way  interested jnani desiring world welfare  should do karmas.

 

26)hey arjuna,ignorants interested in  karmas how they do karmas , one should not produce intellect differentiation.jnani performing krmas properly should get done by others also.(ignorants).

 

27)gunas(charecters) of nature do karmas by all means.an ignorant with egoful mind considers’I am doer’.

 

28)but hey arjuna,one who knowsprinciples of  divisions of  guna karmas will not get interest thinking  that’senses indulge in sense objects’

 

29)one who is carried away by illusion  of charecters(gunas) of nature,ome interested in guna karmas.jnani should not shake(disturb) those little knowing dullards.

 

30)by adhyathmic mind(philosophical mind) dedicating me all karmas(works) without desires  affection and pain do work.

 

31)those people interested (sincere),jealousyless who perform myopenions(thoughts)they also will be relieved by karmas.

 

32)but those jealousy people who don’t practice my openions(words) understand as all knowledgeless dullards(ignorants),spoiled one,intellectless.

 

33)even jnani(those who are having knowledge) walks(behaves)  according to nature.animals  have their nature.when it is like this what can control do?

 

34) in matter of all senses love and hatreds reside.one should not  be under control of  both because they are his enemies.

 

35)gunaless  self-religion is  is better than well practiced paradharma(other religion).even death is good in svadharma.(self-religion) other religion is fearful

 

36)arjuna tol:

Hey krishna,this man though not wishing,by what is inducted forced controled  na comits sins like that?

 

srikrishna told:

37)  this is lust. This is anger.this is born by rajoguna(rajas   character).this is all eater. Great sinner,consider this as enemy here.

 

38)how fire by smoke,mirror by dirt,uterus(womb)  by membrane of  jaraayu(placenta) like that knowledge is covered by lust.

 

39)hey arjuna  to jnani eternal enemy,difficult to fulfil,dificult to satisfy(unsatisfiable) by this lust jnana is covered.

 

40)senses are suporters of(residence of) mind and intellect.this by these covering jnana(knowledge) fascinates jiva(life).

 

41)hey arjuna,therefore you first controling senses destroy this sinner who destroys jnana and vijnana.

 

42) senses are higher  they say.mind is higher than senses..intellect is higher than mind..but who is higher than intellect is athma.(self).

 

43)hey arjuna, like this knowing what is higher than intellect,standind  mind by mind destroy this  lust which is enemy difficult to win.

Chapter 4.jnana  yoga(yoga of knowledge):

Srikrishna told:

1)this  avyaya (non  reducing) yoga  i told to sun,sun told to manu.manu told to  ekshvaaku.

 

2)hey arjuna,this avyaya yoga  was known by  rajarshies.that yoga which was for  long time it was lost.

 

3)as you are my devotee and friend this ancient yoga  was told by me to you.because this is better secret.

 

4) your birth is recent one, sun’s birth is  previous one. How shall I know that you had  adviced earlier?

 

5)hey arjuna,between me and you many births have passed.hey supreme penancier,I know all of them.you don’t know.

 

Sri krishna told:

6)Though I am birthless,reductionless(avyaya)regulater of all animals ,depending upon my  nature  I incarnate through maya.

 

7)hey arjuna,when ever there is fall of religion(dharma,ethics)when non religion develops then I incarnate.

 

8)For protection of saadhus(saints), for destruction of wicked,and for establishment of  dharma I incarnate in every yuga(epoch)

 

9)hey arjuna,one who understands my divine  incarnation,karmas (works)as it is

He after renunciation (rejection) of body will have no rebirth.he will attain me   only.

 

10)without  interest-fear-anger having mind in  me(rooted in me)depending only upon me,by penance in knowledge form(jnana rupa) attains me(my feet) becoming holy.

 

11)who how depends upon me.i bless them like that only. Hey arjuna,men by all methods(means) follow my path.

 

12)desiring for  siddhies  of karmas,people worship gods.because in human world the siddhies is got by karmas   is very fast.

 

13) four varnas were created by me through decesion of guna karmas(nature).

But though   I does know me as  avyya(reductionless) and non doer.

 

14)ancient mumukshus(those desiring for liberation),knowing like this were doing works.therefore you do those ancient karmas as done by your ancesters.

 

15)ancient mumukshus knowing like this  were doing their karmas.-therefore you do old  karma  done by your ancients.

 

16) which is karma which is akarma in this even jnanies are also illused.therefore by knowing which you will be relieved by  bad that karma I will tell you.

 

17)there are karmas  to be understood in  vikarmas  and  akarmas.(karmalessness).because path of moovment of karma is difficult to understand.

 

18)who sees  akarma in karma and karma in akarma he is intelligent man among men. He is yuktha and had done all karmas

 

19))whose all karmas are  relieved  by kamasankalpas(decision (determination)of desires),whose  karmas are burnt by  fire of knowledge him  jnanies call scholar.

 

20)leaving desires in result of karmas if one is eternally satisfied,indulges in karmas  without any dependency(independently),he is not doing anything.

21)yogi without any desires who has controled mind bodysenses(sense organs)only doing works needed for body protecton will not get contaminated.

 

22)one who is satisfied in what is got by itself,beyond duals,(dvandvas),jealousyless,having equal  mind in profit and losssuch yogi is not bound  even if he does karmas

 

23)interested liberated ,one whose mind has resided in  nana and one who performs karma  foy yajna sake(sacrifice) to such yogi karma will be destroyed totally.

 

24) dedication is brahma,offering havis is brahma,in brahma form fire  sacrifice was done  by brahma only.in brahma form karma  by man in samadhi(trance)  what is to be got is brahma only.

 

25)few yogies worship (upaasane) god’s yajna only;few others  do sacrifice(yajna) in brahma form fire self by self only.

 

26)still few people  do yajna all sense(organ) karmas in control fire only.still few do yajna   of sense objects  in sense fire.

 

27)still few all senses  karmas and prana karmas do  yajna(sacrifice) by self control yoga fire enlightened by knowledge.

 

28)few do material  donation form  yajna. Do  yajna of penance form.few perform  self study form and knowledge form  yajna.all these ar firm rituals(vrathi)  yathies.

 

29)few prana air in apana air,apana vayu(air) in prana air, do sacrifice.again few opposing(controling) moovments of both prana and apana do pranayama of kumbhaka.

 

30)few others by havimg limited food do airs of pranain prana air only perform sacrifice.all these are  knowers of yajna and who  have   removed sin by yajnas(sacrifices).

 

31)one who eats remains of yajna called amrutha they will attain ancient brahma.hey high among kurus,for one who does not do yajna when there is no this world only from  where other world will come?

 

32)like this many knds of yajnas are  extended in  doors of  vedas.know all those are  born from karmas.if known like this you will become free.

 

33)hey supreme penancier,than godly(divineful)  yajnas  jnana(knowledge)  yajna  is higher.hey arjuna hey arjunaall karmas end in jnana.

 

34)know it by  by long namaskarams,by  humble  concerned questions,by guru’s service.all karmas end in  jnana ,without  remainder(shesha)

 

35)hey pondava,if you get jnana  again will not have fascination;by knowledge you will see  all animals in self and me also .

 

36)though you have committed more sins than all sinners,that all sin you will cross   over by boat of knowledge.

 

37)hey arjuna,how well burning  fire  burns wood into   ashes  like that fire of knowledge will burn all karmas into ashes.

 

38)in this world there is no  holy thing equal to knowledge.one who has siddhi by yoga gradually will get that jnana in himself by himself.

 

39)one who is sincere(interested),engaged n that(thathpara),sense winner(jithendriya)    mumukshu(desirer of liberation) will have knowledge. By sgetting knowledge will get supreme peace soon.

 

40)knowledgeless,sincirityless,doubtful self-all these three will be destroyed.to doubtful self no this world no other wirld,no joy also.

 

41)hey arjuna,,who has renunciated all karmas by yoga,one who has destroyed doubts  by knowledge,selfful (athmavantha) man karmas can’t bind.

42)hey arjuna,born out of ignorence  hiding in your mind regarding self cuting by sword of jnana(knowledge) practice yoga..hey arjuna get up to war.

Chapter 5.sanyasa yoga:

Arjuna spoke:

1)hey krishna,tou tell about sanyasa of karmasand also performance(anustana) also.among these both which is higher(shreyaskara)  tell me it firmly.

 

2)renenciation and karmayoga-these both produce  liberation(moksha).but among them rather than karma renunciation karmayoga is better.

 

3)Who does not hate does not desire he should be known as nithya sanyasi(eternal sanyasi).because hey mahabaho(great armed)  one without dvandvas  (dualls) without tiredness will be liberated by  family bondage.

 

4)ignorants tell jnanayoga and karmayoga are different.but scholars won’t say like that.among these two one who practices well  will attain fruits of both.

 

5)the place which jnananistas(knowledge sincere) that will  be attained by nishkama karma yogies also.who sees jnanayoga and karmayoga as one  he is real seer.

 

6)but hey mahabaho(great armed),without help of karmayoga it is difficult to have sanyasa.muni who has practiced yoga attains brahma quickly.

7)joined with yoga puresellf, self winner(vijithathma) winner of senses, who thinks  self of all animals feela as his own self,such muni that  man  though doing karmais not attached

 

8+9)a yogi who is philosopher when he see,touches,smells,while eats,walks, breaths,while talks,while leavibg,while taking,while opens eye,closes eye, deciding that senses   indulge in  their own objects should know ‘ I am not doing anything’.

 

10)who puts karmas in eshwara,leaving interest in karma fruits(results) performs karma he-lke lotus leaf not attached to  water-will not be attached by sins.

 

11)by body mind intellect  and senses yogies leaving interest  in results(fruits),doing karma for sathva shuddhi.

 

12) yogi leaving interest in karma fruits attains peace in form of  sincirity(niste).

One who is not suitable(unfit) by lust induction  getting interest in fruit gets bound.

 

13)man who  has won senses leaving all karmas by mind,without doing anything  in body with nine doors without  getting done anything will be happy.

 

14)athma(self) has not created  doership to people, no kaema, no karma fruit relation.but  by  nature only does work.

 

15)self will not  take anybody’s  sin or punya(good deed).,knowledge is covered by ignarance. Therefore animals are  are geting fascinated.

 

16)but by athma jnana(self knowledge)  whose ignorance is destroyed their self knowledge like sun will make parabrahma to shine.

 

17)who  have firm intellect in brahma only,who has kept mind in  brahma only,who are sincere to brahma(brahmanistas),who remembers brahma only as fate,who have washed   dirt  by  jnana they will attain moksha.

 

18)brahmin with   education  and humbleness ,cow,elephant,dog and dog muton eater-in both these  jnanies are  equal visioned. (samadrishti)

 

19)whose mind is standing in brahmathey will win family here only.because brahma is defectless and equal.therefore they stand in brahma only

 

20)brahmajnani who has firm mind,fascinationless,who exists in brahma only,should not become  happy by having favourable(like)  and should not shrink by having unfavourable(dislike).

 

21)one who is not interested in  sound excetra external objects will have peace in inner mind(anthahkarana).this yogi who  has self with brahmayoga(athmayoga) gets eternal(reductionless,akshaya) joy.

 

22)hey arjuna,those enjoyments produced by union of senses and objects,they are cause of sorrow and have production and destruction.jnani does not rest(play) with them.

 

23)before fall of body (death) who tollerates  speed produced by kama(lust)and anger he is only yogi.he is happy man.

 

24)one who finds joy in athma only,rests in athma,like that has light   in athma(self) that yogi attains  brahma form(brahma svarupa) and gets liberation.

 

25)dirtless,dvandvaless(beyond duals)sense wimmers engaged in favour of all animals rushies will attain liberation.

 

26)those who are relieved by lust(kaama) and anger,those with controlled mind,

Those who understand athma properlyto those yogies(yathies) brahma nirvana

(liberation) is present everywhere.

 

27+28)keeping away external matters,keeping vision between  eye brows,making prana and apaana mooving inside nose equal,muni who has controlled senses mind  intellect  liberation  sincere (paraayana),without desireless  fearless  angerless he is always liberated.

 

29)enjoyer of yajna abd penance,maheshwara of all worlds,suhruth(good heart) of all animals nowing me like this,yogi attains peace.

 

Chapter  5 of sanyasayoga is completed

Chapter 6.dhyanayoga(meditation yoga):s

 

Sri krishna told:

1)without depending upon karma fruits one who does what is to be done he himself is sanyasi and he himself is yogi,one  without  fire(only sanyasi) ,action person(only yogi) should  not  be understood.

 

2)hey arjuna,what is called sanyasa call that only as sanyasa know that itself as yoga. Because nobody who   unless renunciates determination can,t become yogi.

 

3)to muni who wans  to have yoga karma is means it is told.to muni who is yogarudha peace is means it is said.

 

4)this yogi  not gets interest  in sense objects, in karmas,when he  renunciates  all determinations then he is called yogaruda

 

5)self should be developed by self only.should not shrink  by himself.because mind only is  one’s relative, mind itself  is   enemy.

 

6)by whose athma(self)  one’s mind is won,to such athma  mind is relative.

But for one who has not won senses one’s mind is in feel of hatred like enemy

 

7)for one who has  won  one’s  mind ,peaceful in heat and cold,firm in joys and sorrows ,honour and dishonour athma(self) is  specially united(samaahitha).

 

8) one who has peace of mind(satisfied mind) ,kutastha(firm),sense winnerwho sees soil stone gold equally,that yogi is called ‘yuktha’.

 

9)in good hearted  friend enemy negligent,middle one, hateble,-in all these,in saadhus(saints) and sinners one who has equal  intellect(mind) is high among yogaruda.

 

10)living in peopleless place alone,controling body and mind,desireless,,not accepting anything(aparigrahi)  yogi should always keep his mind in yoga.

 

11)in clearn  place putting one upon another-kusha(darbhe),leather,cloth ,firm  too high or too low putting asana(posture)-

 

12)siting on that  position(asana),concentrating mind,,one who controls  mind and senses should yoga for  purification of mind(innermind).

 

13,14)keeping body,head,and neck equally and firm,firmly  observing  tip of nose

,without seing directions,as peaceful and fearlessmaintaining in celibecy(brahmacharya),,controling mind,keeping mind in me only,thinking myself as para(high) should be proper(yuktha).

 

15)yogi who has controled mind,keeping himself in yoga always, will attain supreme nirvana and peace in me.

 

16)hey arjuna,there no yoga for one who eats excessively and for who eats very  less.to one who sleeps excessively and who is awaken much no yoga.

 

17)yoga destroys sorrow to him who is limited in food and walk,in karmasand in sleep and awakenness.

 

18)when controled mind stands in athma,then,having no desires in all karmas,is called yogi.

 

19)to yogi practicing athma yoga to his mind is given similieof’like a lamp undisturbed by a non blowing air region.

 

20,21,22,23)when by practice(service) f yoga controled mind becomes peaceful,when feels happy seing athma by pure mind in himselfand when knows intellectually grasps ,beyond senses,that joyfulness ,by staying in which does not moov by principle(thathva),by having whichdoes not consider any profit higher than that,by staying in which does not moov,even by great sorrows,that yogashould be considered(known).as yogawhich removes relation of sorrow.such yoga should be practiced.with decided(fixed and enthusiastic mind.

 

24,25)rejecting all kamas(lusts) totallywhich are practiced by decision (determination) controling all sides of  group of senses  by mind only

,with bold intellect should return slowly. Making  mind to stand in self(athma) nothing should be thought.

 

26)fickle,non firm mind comes out by which matters  controling  mind  from  that matters(objects)should be controlled in  athma.

 

27)peaceful minded,rajoless(desireless),dirtless,having brahma feelthat which yogi  gets better joy.

 

28)like this always keeping athma in yoga dirtless yogi without strain gets higher joy which is called’brahma touch’(brahma samsparsha).

 

29)equal   visioned every  where yogaful athma(yoga yukthathma) sees athma in all animals,and all animals   in athma.

 

30)who sees me everywhereand sees everything in me to him  I will not go without being seen  and  he will not go without seing me.

 

31)one who is residing in ekathva(oneness of all,samyak darshana)  who in all animals and worships me ,then yogi resides in myself,how ever he may be.

 

32)hey arjuna,one who sees equallyjoys and sorrowsin all animalsthat yogiis called high(shresta)(supreme).this is my openion.

 

Arjuna told:

33)hey madhusudana,which  yoga of samathva rupa(equality form)is told,as mind is ficklei am not seing it’s firm condition.

 

34)hey krishna,mind is fickle,of the nature of producing  disturbance(distraction),strong,firm,.it’s control is very  difficult like that of air.

 

srikrishna told:

35) hy mahabaho(great armed),mind is very difficult to control and fickle(unfirm).it is doubtful.hey arjuna, sby practice and dejection (disattachment) it can be controlled.

 

36)it is my openionthat yoga is not attainable(difficult to attain) to one who has not controled mind.but to triajful   sense winner(jithendriya)(by above said) plan(technique) it is possible to attain

 

Arjuna told:

37)hey krishna,even if one is sincere one who does not try and who has mind mooved awayby yoga that man,without getting yogasiddhi will attain which moovment(fate,gathi)

 

38)hey mahabaho great armed,,innocent in path of  attainment of brahma,ubhaya brasta(out of order on both sides?) ,non dependent (purusha)

 Will he not get destroyed like  broken cloud?

 

39)hey krishna,this my doubt you are fit to remove remainderlessly.except you nobody will be there to  solve this doubt.

 

Srikrishna told:

40)hey arjuna,to yogabhrasta (faiien from yoga)  in this world and other world there is no destruction.  Because ono does welfare works will not get lower level.

 

41)yogabhrasta(fallen down from yoga,out of order) having world of punya people.living there for many years,later  takes birth  good behaved(sadachara) and rich people.

 

42)or takes birth in intellectual(dheemantha) yogies family.such birth in this world is  difficult t get.

 

43)hey  kuru  nandana(divine kuru) there  related to previous lifewill get relation of intellect.thogh he is jignasu(desire of knowing ) of yoga .later for it’s siddhi trys vesy much.

 

44)by that previous practice he will be attracted dependently(not independently). Though he is jignasu(desir for know) of yoga   excels fruits of karmas  told by vedas.

 

45)one who is practicimg by trial(efferts) kilbishsa less(dirtless,defectless)having siddhi from many births ,such yogiafterwards attains supreme   fate(gathi,moovment).

 

46)it is my penion that yogi is higher than penanciers,,jnanies,and karmies

(who do karmas).hey arjuna become yogi.

 

47)one who is sincereand who  worships by mind having me,he is higher than all yogies.this is my openion.

7)born in lake of  vachanas(words) of  son of parashara vyasa,containing various  types  of  kesaras (lion’s  hairs) of  aakhyanas(chapters ,discussions) ,expanded by teaching of hari stories used(served) by  gentleman bees everyday   with joy,destroying dirts of kali,having intensive fragrance of  geetha meaning,pure lotus of mahabharatha do  good to us.

 

8) whose grace makes  dumb  talkative,makes lame to  jump mountains,I do namaskarams to such maadhava.

 

9)whom brahma,   varuna,indra, rudra,marudganas praise by divine sthothras  whom saanagas(sama reciters)  anga pada krama upanishaths  containibg vedas sing,whom yogies  see by mind indulged in meditation,whose end divine and demon groups  can’t understand namaskarams to such god.

1)hey,sanjaya,in kurukshethra which is  dharmakshethra, joined for the sake of war, what did our people and pandavas do?

 

Sanjaya told:

2)king dhuryodhana at  that time seing army of pandavas arranged in wirl form(shape),came to drona ,told this word.

 

3)hey,acharya see this big army constructed by dhrustadyumna who is your desciple,in   telligent,son of drupada.

 

4to 6)in middle of pandava army big archery  specialists (billugaararu……………?…)

Equal to  bhima and  arjuna,valients,yuyudhana,,virata  king  maharatha drupada , drustakethu,chekithana, valient kasi king,purujitthu,kunthi bhoja,high human shybya, valient yudhaamanyu,valient uttamoujassu and subhadra’s son,droupadi’s sons are there.these are all maharathas only.

 

7)hey brahmana,in our party who are predominants(chiefs) and army chiefs,know them.for your memory I will tell their names.

12)elder in kuru group powerful   grand father  bhishma to pruduce enthusiasm to dhuryodhana from high note(tone) doing lion roar  blowd cone(shankha)

 

13)afterwards cones(shankhas) drums,and doles mrudangas gomukhas  excetra instruments(musical)  at once sounded. That war sound was fearful.

 

14)afterwards   siting in  white horses tied    great chariots  sri krishna and arjunas  

Blowing their  other worldly(aloukika)  cones.

 

15) hrishikesha blowd paanchajanya,arjuna blowd devadattha cone.bhima who can do dangerous karmas  blowd cone by name poundra.

 

16)kunthi’s son yudhistara  king blowd cone by name ananthavijaya,nakula and sahadeva  blowd sumoghamani pushpaka  cone(shankha).

 

17+18)hey land lord,(king),big archerian kashi king,maharatha shikhandi,,drustadyumna,viraata,  undefeatable saathyaki,king drupada,,droupadi’s five childern  prathivindhya excetra,great valient abhimanyu-all those blowd their cones(shankhas) seperately.

 

19)and that fearful  echoing in sky and earth split kouravas hearts.

 

20+21)hey king,,later monkey flaged(kapidhvaja) arjuna seing at kouravas who were ready for war,as time had come to  weapon treasure( shasthra nikshepa),held liting bow ,told to sri krishna like this.

 

22+23)till   I  see these people  with desire for war,till I decide with whom  I have to make war and till I see all those  valients who have  gathered here to produce war love  in  wicked dhuryodhana   such war desirers,till I see,hey krishna stand my chariot  in  between two armies

 

Sanjata told:

24+25) hey,dhritharastra,on telling like this,srikrishna stopped stope

d in between two armies ,in front of bhishma drona and other kings,stoping his better chariot,hey, arjuna  see all these kouravas gathered for sake of war.

 

26)afterwards arjuna  saw in both  armies fathers(uncles and big fathers,) grand fathers,gurus ,nephewies,elder and younger brothers,childerns,equal aged friends,father-inlaws  and   friends.

 

27)arjuna on seing all  those relatives with extrardinary kindness  told these words sadly.

 

ARJuna told:

28)hey,krishna on seing  these our people wth war desire  my organs are shrinking and face is also drying up.

 

29)in my body there is vibration and excitement.from hand gandiva is sliping  and falling and skin is also getting heated.

 

30)hey,keshava, is not possible  for me to stand also.my mind is feeling giddyby ficklenes  and I am also seing shakunas( bad signs) which are hinting non welfare(amangala).

 

31)+32):hey krishna if I kill good people(gentlemen) in war nobody can see shreyas(welfare).I WONT  DESIRE FOR   KINGSHIP    ALSO.HEY,GOVIMDA  WHAT IS TO HAPPEN BY STATE.WHAT IS USE OF  ENJOYMENT  OR WEARING    LIHE.?

 

33+34)hor whom sake  kingdon(state) enjoyments,joys are needed such these acharyas,uncles,big fathers childern and grandsons brother inlaws and others have  given pprana(life) and money  are standing in  war field.

 

35) hey,madhusudana even if I am killed for kingdom(state) of three worlds do not wan’t to kill them,what shall I say for this  earth?

 

36)hey,janardhana, if I kill these kouravas  what   good will happen?if I kill these sinners sin only  comes to us.

 

37)therefore to kill our relatives   kouravas we are not fit. Because hey,madhava by killing our people   how can we be happy?

 

38)+39:by desire of kingdom(state) occupied these people,without seing destruction of kula(family, caste)the sin of friends  cheating (traiter),hey janardhana we by knowing the defects of destruction of family (race) should return from this sinful wok why can’t we go back?

 

40) if family is destroyed permanent  caste religions  become destroyed,and if dharma  is lost all castes will be occupied (controlled)by  adharma

 

41)hey krishna,as adharma increases family females will get  spoiled.hey varshneya.if females become wicked  mix of colours (varnas)will  occur.

 

42)  intercaste to those who destroy families  and families will pruduce hell attainment.his fathers  without pithru shraaddha rituals they fall down  from  pithru loka(father’s world) .

 

43)family destroyers  lead  to varna mix (intercaste).by these defects   permanent caste religions and family religions  will be destroyed.

 

44)hey, jahey janardhanafor these people who have destroyed family religions(dharmas)have to reside  in hell for long time we have heard.

 

45) by which reason desiring to state joy(joy of kingdom)when we try to kill people,for same reasons we have decided to to do great sins.

 

46)not reacting in any way  weaponless me weapon   wearing kouravas kill,it will be more  safer for me.

 

Sanjaya told:

47)in warfieldwith sorrow disturbed mind arjuna  telling like this  removing (renunciating) bows and arrows,sat on chariot.

 

 Now arjuna vishaada yoga is completed.

3)hey,arjuma don’t be sterile(shandathana).this is not suitable for you..hey pain maker of enemies,leave this low mental weakness and rise.

 

Arjuna told:

4)hey enemy killar,madhusudana,fit for worshp bhishma drona how shall I face with arrows?

 

5)without killing great people(gurus),in this world it is better to eat beged foodis is better (higher).but if I kill  money desiring gurus,have to experience blood sticken(blood smeared) enjoyments  in this world only.

 

6)wheather we  will win or they only will win,which is better among these two that also we don’t know.whom we does not want to kill those kouravas  are standing in front of us..

 

7)shrunken by defect of humbleness,having foolish mind,I am asking this question to you.you decide and tell me which is better.i am your desciple.teach me who is surendered to you only.

 

8)on this earth  even if you posses enemy less  prospherus country(state),even if you have lordship on gods,which will solve this  my sorrow which are drying up senses.such techniques I don’t know.

 

Sanjaya told:

9)pain striken by enemies,arjuna told like this to   srikrishna that he  will not do war and kept quiet.

 

10)hey dhrutharastra,to sorrowful arjuna,standing in between two armies srikrishna told like this with laugh.

 

Srikrishna told:

11)you are sorrowing about those  who are not fit for sorrowing and speaking words of jnani.scholars don’t’  feel  sorry about  dead  or living people.

 

12)there is no time when I was not there.no time  when you, myself and these kings were not there.in future also there is no time when we will not be there.(  ie we will be present for ever)

 

13)to self(athma)with body,in this bodyhow childhood,youth,old age occurs,in the same way occurrence of another body also in this matter jnani  will  not become  mad.

 

14) hey kunthi’s sontouches(contacts) between senses and objects ,yield cold-heat,joy-sorrow,they are nature of coming and going.nonermanent.thereforeHey  arjuna bear with them.

 

15)because ,hey    high among  men who considers  joy and sorrow    (purusha shresta)equally,willl not disturb that  man who is jnani.he is fit for amruthathva(deathlessness).

 

16)non existant does not exist.existant has no destruction. This decission between

These two ,jnanies  will understand.

 

17)by which all this  is  know it as indestructable .nobody is efficient to think of  destruction of avyaya(destructionless,reductionless)

 

18)eternal,indestructable,aprameya(who can’t be proved,understood,measured)

 Body of this athma is temporary say jnanies.therefore arjuna do war.

 

19)he will be never born.no death.he is not pruduced  previously  and will also be not destroyed.he is birthless,eternal,permanent,old.even though body is destroyed he will nnot be destroyed.

 

20)one who thinks he  is killar or he is killed,who thinks like this both  does not know.this   athma(self)will not  kill ,nor neing killed.

 

21)hey partha,this athma is indestructable.(avinashi),eternal.birthless ,not reduced   one who knows like this that man will how  whom he will kill how? 

Whom he will make to kill?

 

22)as man leaves old clothes and wears   new clothes  like that athma with body leaves degenerating bodies and wears new bodies.

 

23)weapons can’t cut athma. Fire  can’t   burn water can’t wet,air can’t dry.

 

24)this athma can’t   be  cut, can’t be burnt  ,can’t be wet,can’t be dried..he is eternal,,all pervading,firm,non mooving, ancient.

 

25)he is unexpressed-unthinkable,changeless,.therefore by understanding him,you should not have sorrow.

 

26)in case if you think ‘athma’is always taking birth and always dieng hey,mahabahu(great armed) then also  you should not  be sorrowful

 

27)because to  born death is definite  and for dead birth is sure.therefore in unsolvable matter you should not be sorrpwful.

 

28) hey arjuna,animals are not seen   before birth.  seen after birth.not seen after  destruction(death).why sorrow during this time?

 

29)one sees this athma as a wonder.in sane way  another tells as womder.another sees him like a wonder.and another even if he hears won’t understand.

 

30)hey arjuna,athma who is in body of all(every body’s body) won’t  gets  destroyed forever.therefore you  should  not be sorrowful about all animals.

 

31)even if you look   at  svadharma (self religion) you should not fear because rather than religious war no other shreyas(good) to kshathriya.

 

32) hey arjuna war which has come  without ppraying and opening door to heaven,such war,only lucky kshathriyas will get.

 

33)if you don’t do this religious war,for that reason you will destroy svadharma and fame and will get sin.

 

34) not only this,people will talk about your ill fame.for gentleman this  this ill fame is more than death.

 

35)maharathi’s will think that you have returnes from war out of fear..to whom you were much respectable(honourable) will become light in front of them only.

 

36)   your  enemies blaming your ability will talk untalkable talks what is more sorrowful   than that?

 

37)hey arjuna,if you are killed you will get  heaven.if you winyou will enjoy earth globe.so decide to do war and rise up

 

38)considering  joys and sorrows,profit and losses,success and failure as equal be ready to make war.if you do like this you will not become sinful.

 

39)hey,arjuna this  intellect(advice) was told to you in saankhya.according to sankhya.you have this with references with yoga.if you come to know this knowledge you will  tear out bondage in the form of karma.s

 

40)this karma started in karmayoga is not  destroyer.for leaving  after starting there   will be no defect. Even little anustana(daily ritual or practice) of this religion of karmayoga will protect from great fear.

 

41)hey ,arjuna,in this karma yoga fixed nature of intellect will be firm in one(aspect).those intellects which are not fixed are of many branches and infinet.

Interested in  vedic sentences(except karmas  which are means of  this world fruits,those who argue(there is nothing else lustful,(desireful  those who consider heaven is important ,these people to  get worldly wealth given by karmas,to  techniques combined with  various  activities speak those words which are ‘apaatha manohara’(beautiful talk……?)mind captured  away by  these talks leaving interest in worldly wealths,there will not be fixed intellects.

 

45) hey arjunavedas talk about thriguna matters.(therefore you)thriguna less , dual less, always having sathva guna(nature),without any yogakshemas,athmaful man.

 

46)if water is filled up every where(well pond excetra)(source of water),  how much of use from little well (source of water),for brahmin  knowing principles(thathvas) is that much use all vedas.  

 

47)you have authority only in karma.let there be no interest in karma fruit(result)

Don’t be cause of karma fruit.let there be no interest in leaving karma.

 

48) hey arjuna,without interest having equal feel in siddhi-asiddhi,existing in yoga do karma.equanimity of mind is yoga.

 

49)hey arjuna,’desired action’ is  (action with desire,kaamya karma) is very lower than buddhi yoga.(jnana yoga). Therefore depend upon intellect. Those who desire fruit are poor(humble,deenas)

 

50)one who is yuktha(suitable) by intellect  will leave both papa (sin)and punya

( good deed). Here only.therefore   try for yoga yoga is nothing but skill in works.(koushalya).

 

51)because inteligent jnanies leaving fruit of karma being relieed  from bondage of  birthswill athman supreme post(liberation)  which is sorrpwless.

 

52)when your intellect goes beyond fascination form of dirt then you will get disinterest which is  to be heard in future,heard in past,in matter of karma fruits.(result of karmas)

 

53)being disturbed  by shruthis(vedas),when your intellect becomes firm and immovable in samadhi(trance).then you will attain  yoga.

 

Arjuna told:

54)hey keshava,whar are features of’sthithaprajna’ in samadhi?what he will speak?how he sits?how he walks?

 

55) hey arjuna,who is joyful in athma(self)  in athma(self),when he gives up all desires of mind,yogi is then called’sthithaprajna’.(firm minded)

 

56)having mind without excitement in sorrows,desireless in joys,without any interest,fear,anger  such  muni(saint) is called’sthithaprajna’.

 

57)who  being disinterested  in all things ,when he gets  favourable and unfavourable matters will not get joy or hatred his prajna(consciousness) is  is firm.(sthithaprajna)

 

58)as tortoise withdraws  it’s organs inside this yogi whois jnananista(knowledge  sincere,jnanabound) when withdraws all senses  from their objects then his prajne(consciousness) is  firm.

 

59)objects of senses return back from body of foodless.but thirst is not over(not left).after realisation of parabrahma  his thirsts also  return  back.

 

60) Hey arjuna,disturbing sensest  even trialful and jnani’s mind also  will capture  forcibly.

 

61)therefore by controling all senses indulging in me becomes peaceful minded becomes whose senses are under control  his mind  will become  firm.

For a man thinking  about  sense objects imnterests will be bornby interest lust appears.from lust anger is produced.from anger fascination  appears. By fascination  illusion of  memory.by memory illusion  destroys intellect..by destruction of intellect man will be destroyed.

 

64)but being relieved  by love and hatred by senses under his control,experiencing senses   samyitha(………….?)  minded man will attain peace.

 

65)if joy (satisfaction) of mind is attained   all his sorrows will be destroyed.because intellect of  pure minded man will   become firm quickly.

 

66)for  improper (ayuktha) personthere will be no intellect.for one is improper no feelings.to one who has no feelings no peace.to one who has no peace where is happiness.

 

67)because   mind  which  mooving senses like a boat in water is  taken away by opposite wind,will capture one’s prajna.

 

68) therefore one who controls(withdraws) all types of sense objects   in  all ways his sense (prajna,consciousness)is firm

 

69)which is night to all animals  in  that sense winner(jithendriya)awakened state.in which animals are awaken that is night to that is night to  seing muni.

 

70)  how rivers waters join sea which is complete moovmentless(firm) sea so also all  karmas  enter whom he will attain peace.one who has desires lust can’t have.s

 

71)which man   leaving all desires without affection without   ego wanders  will attain peace.

 

72)hey arjuna,this is  condition of man who is in brahma.by having this  nobody will become mad.even at end  age also,stays(remains)  in this condition attains brahma nirvana.

Arjuna told:

1)    Hey janardhana,in your openion if jnana is better than karma why do you make  me to   indulge  in severe(fearful)  work?

 

2)by words of opposite meaning you are illusing my intellect. By which I can get good decide only that and tell me

 

3)srikrishna told:

Hey sinless, I told you two kinds of sincirity(niste) through  jnanayoga saankhyas

Sincirity through yoga path sincirity (niste) of yogies.

 

4)a man will not attain naishkarmya(not doing even though doing) by not starting karmas and will not attain siddhi by mere karma renuniation

 

5)nobody  can remain without work even for a single  moment.because each will be doing karma being controlled by(driven by) gunas of prakruthi.

 

6)who controlling senses remembering sense objects by mind he is called’vimudhathma’,’mithyachari’.

 

7)hey arjuna,one who controlls  senses by mind,becoming interested through  karmendriya(motor organs,work organs) begins karmayoga.he excels (goes beyond,exceeds) false behaviors.

 

8)you do daily karmas(works) because  karma(doing) is better than akarma(non doing). By not doing karmas even life journey is not possible.

 

9)except karmas which are done for yajna,all other place people are   bound   by karmas.therefore arjunaBeing relieved by interest do karmas (properly).

 

9) in past prajapathi along with yajnas(sacrifices) you satisfy gods.let those gods also protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme  shreyas(improvement).

 

10)in past   prajapathi   along with yajna (sacrifice) created prajas(people) and told like this. By this you develop(im prove).let it be kamadhenu fulfilling your desires.

 

11)through yajna(sacrifice) you satisfied gods.let these gods also  protect you.if you feel mutually you will get supreme shreyas(improvement)

 

12) the god being satisfied by yajnas blesses enjoyments liked by you.if anybody uses those enjoyments  without giving to them he is thief only.

 

13)saints who eat remains of yajna will be liberated by all defects.but those sinners who cook for themselves they eat sins.

 

14)+15)by food(rice,anna) animals are produced.by yajna rain is produced.yajna is produced by karmas..karmas are produced by vedas.vedas are produced by letters(aksharas)therefore omnipresent  vedas are always based in yajnas.

 

16)hey arjuna,the world wheel  promoted like this in their way who does not follow here,sinful sense enjotments relaxing I senses(indriya arama) will live only as waste.

 

17)any man having love in himself(his own athma),being satisfied in self,being ot joyful in self he has no any kind of duties at all.

 

18)he has no use from karma performances. No harms by not doing karmas.and in all animals he has no use from relation of any kind.

 

19)therefore do necessary duties with interest.because interested person performing karmas attains liberation.

 

20)janaka excetra got siddhi (achievements;readyness) by performance of karmas.even by view of world welfare you are fit for doing karmas.

 

21)higher people what he celebrates will be followd by other people.what ever he does as evidence world follows the same.

 

22)hey arjuna,in these worlds I have no duties. There is nothing  which I should possess or not posses.in spite of this I am in  karmas.

 

23)hey arjuna, if I cautiously do not engage in karmas always, people follow my path  by all means.

 

24)if I don’t do karmas these worlds will be destroyed.i will be doer of caste mixing(varna sankara) and I will be destroyer of  these people.

 

25)hey arjuna,ignorants  who are interested in karma, in same way  interested jnani desiring world welfare  should do karmas.

 

26)hey arjuna,ignorants interested in  karmas how they do karmas , one should not produce intellect differentiation.jnani performing krmas properly should get done by others also.(ignorants).

 

27)gunas(charecters) of nature do karmas by all means.an ignorant with egoful mind considers’I am doer’.

 

28)but hey arjuna,one who knowsprinciples of  divisions of  guna karmas will not get interest thinking  that’senses indulge in sense objects’

 

29)one who is carried away by illusion  of charecters(gunas) of nature,ome interested in guna karmas.jnani should not shake(disturb) those little knowing dullards.

 

30)by adhyathmic mind(philosophical mind) dedicating me all karmas(works) without desires  affection and pain do work.

 

31)those people interested (sincere),jealousyless who perform myopenions(thoughts)they also will be relieved by karmas.

 

32)but those jealousy people who don’t practice my openions(words) understand as all knowledgeless dullards(ignorants),spoiled one,intellectless.

 

33)even jnani(those who are having knowledge) walks(behaves)  according to nature.animals  have their nature.when it is like this what can control do?

 

34) in matter of all senses love and hatreds reside.one should not  be under control of  both because they are his enemies.

 

35)gunaless  self-religion is  is better than well practiced paradharma(other religion).even death is good in svadharma.(self-religion) other religion is fearful

 

36)arjuna tol:

Hey krishna,this man though not wishing,by what is inducted forced controled  na comits sins like that?

 

srikrishna told:

37)  this is lust. This is anger.this is born by rajoguna(rajas   character).this is all eater. Great sinner,consider this as enemy here.

 

38)how fire by smoke,mirror by dirt,uterus(womb)  by membrane of  jaraayu(placenta) like that knowledge is covered by lust.

 

39)hey arjuna  to jnani eternal enemy,difficult to fulfil,dificult to satisfy(unsatisfiable) by this lust jnana is covered.

 

40)senses are suporters of(residence of) mind and intellect.this by these covering jnana(knowledge) fascinates jiva(life).

 

41)hey arjuna,therefore you first controling senses destroy this sinner who destroys jnana and vijnana.

 

42) senses are higher  they say.mind is higher than senses..intellect is higher than mind..but who is higher than intellect is athma.(self).

 

43)hey arjuna, like this knowing what is higher than intellect,standind  mind by mind destroy this  lust which is enemy difficult to win.

Third chapter karmayoga is completed

Chapter 4.jnana  yoga(yoga of knowledge):

Srikrishna told:

1)this  avyaya (non  reducing) yoga  i told to sun,sun told to manu.manu told to  ekshvaaku.

 

2)hey arjuna,this avyaya yoga  was known by  rajarshies.that yoga which was for  long time it was lost.

 

3)as you are my devotee and friend this ancient yoga  was told by me to you.because this is better secret.

 

4) your birth is recent one, sun’s birth is  previous one. How shall I know that you had  adviced earlier?

 

5)hey arjuna,between me and you many births have passed.hey supreme penancier,I know all of them.you don’t know.

 

Sri krishna told:

6)Though I am birthless,reductionless(avyaya)regulater of all animals ,depending upon my  nature  I incarnate through maya.

 

7)hey arjuna,when ever there is fall of religion(dharma,ethics)when non religion develops then I incarnate.

 

8)For protection of saadhus(saints), for destruction of wicked,and for establishment of  dharma I incarnate in every yuga(epoch)

 

9)hey arjuna,one who understands my divine  incarnation,karmas (works)as it is

He after renunciation (rejection) of body will have no rebirth.he will attain me   only.

 

10)without  interest-fear-anger having mind in  me(rooted in me)depending only upon me,by penance in knowledge form(jnana rupa) attains me(my feet) becoming holy.

 

11)who how depends upon me.i bless them like that only. Hey arjuna,men by all methods(means) follow my path.

 

12)desiring for  siddhies  of karmas,people worship gods.because in human world the siddhies is got by karmas   is very fast.

 

13) four varnas were created by me through decesion of guna karmas(nature).

But though   I does know me as  avyya(reductionless) and non doer.

 

14)ancient mumukshus(those desiring for liberation),knowing like this were doing works.therefore you do those ancient karmas as done by your ancesters.

 

15)ancient mumukshus knowing like this  were doing their karmas.-therefore you do old  karma  done by your ancients.

 

16) which is karma which is akarma in this even jnanies are also illused.therefore by knowing which you will be relieved by  bad that karma I will tell you.

 

17)there are karmas  to be understood in  vikarmas  and  akarmas.(karmalessness).because path of moovment of karma is difficult to understand.

 

18)who sees  akarma in karma and karma in akarma he is intelligent man among men. He is yuktha and had done all karmas

 

19))whose all karmas are  relieved  by kamasankalpas(decision (determination)of desires),whose  karmas are burnt by  fire of knowledge him  jnanies call scholar.

 

20)leaving desires in result of karmas if one is eternally satisfied,indulges in karmas  without any dependency(independently),he is not doing anything.

22)one who is satisfied in what is got by itself,beyond duals,(dvandvas),jealousyless,having equal  mind in profit and losssuch yogi is not bound  even if he does karmas

 

23)interested liberated ,one whose mind has resided in  nana and one who performs karma  foy yajna sake(sacrifice) to such yogi karma will be destroyed totally.

 

24) dedication is brahma,offering havis is brahma,in brahma form fire  sacrifice was done  by brahma only.in brahma form karma  by man in samadhi(trance)  what is to be got is brahma only.

 

25)few yogies worship (upaasane) god’s yajna only;few others  do sacrifice(yajna) in brahma form fire self by self only.

 

26)still few people  do yajna all sense(organ) karmas in control fire only.still few do yajna   of sense objects  in sense fire.

 

27)still few all senses  karmas and prana karmas do  yajna(sacrifice) by self control yoga fire enlightened by knowledge.

 

28)few do material  donation form  yajna. Do  yajna of penance form.few perform  self study form and knowledge form  yajna.all these ar firm rituals(vrathi)  yathies.

 

29)few prana air in apana air,apana vayu(air) in prana air, do sacrifice.again few opposing(controling) moovments of both prana and apana do pranayama of kumbhaka.

 

30)few others by havimg limited food do airs of pranain prana air only perform sacrifice.all these are  knowers of yajna and who  have   removed sin by yajnas(sacrifices).

 

31)one who eats remains of yajna called amrutha they will attain ancient brahma.hey high among kurus,for one who does not do yajna when there is no this world only from  where other world will come?

 

32)like this many knds of yajnas are  extended in  doors of  vedas.know all those are  born from karmas.if known like this you will become free.

 

33)hey supreme penancier,than godly(divineful)  yajnas  jnana(knowledge)  yajna  is higher.hey arjuna hey arjunaall karmas end in jnana.

 

34)know it by  by long namaskarams,by  humble  concerned questions,by guru’s service.all karmas end in  jnana ,without  remainder(shesha)

 

35)hey pondava,if you get jnana  again will not have fascination;by knowledge you will see  all animals in self and me also .

 

36)though you have committed more sins than all sinners,that all sin you will cross   over by boat of knowledge.

 

37)hey arjuna,how well burning  fire  burns wood into   ashes  like that fire of knowledge will burn all karmas into ashes.

 

38)in this world there is no  holy thing equal to knowledge.one who has siddhi by yoga gradually will get that jnana in himself by himself.

 

39)one who is sincere(interested),engaged n that(thathpara),sense winner(jithendriya)    mumukshu(desirer of liberation) will have knowledge. By sgetting knowledge will get supreme peace soon.

 

40)knowledgeless,sincirityless,doubtful self-all these three will be destroyed.to doubtful self no this world no other wirld,no joy also.

 

41)hey arjuna,,who has renunciated all karmas by yoga,one who has destroyed doubts  by knowledge,selfful (athmavantha) man karmas can’t bind.

Chapter 5.sanyasa yoga:

Arjuna spoke:

1)hey krishna,tou tell about sanyasa of karmasand also performance(anustana) also.among these both which is higher(shreyaskara)  tell me it firmly.

 

2)renenciation and karmayoga-these both produce  liberation(moksha).but among them rather than karma renunciation karmayoga is better.

 

3)Who does not hate does not desire he should be known as nithya sanyasi(eternal sanyasi).because hey mahabaho(great armed)  one without dvandvas  (dualls) without tiredness will be liberated by  family bondage.

 

4)ignorants tell jnanayoga and karmayoga are different.but scholars won’t say like that.among these two one who practices well  will attain fruits of both.

 

5)the place which jnananistas(knowledge sincere) that will  be attained by nishkama karma yogies also.who sees jnanayoga and karmayoga as one  he is real seer.

 

6)but hey mahabaho(great armed),without help of karmayoga it is difficult to have sanyasa.muni who has practiced yoga attains brahma quickly.

7)joined with yoga puresellf, self winner(vijithathma) winner of senses, who thinks  self of all animals feela as his own self,such muni that  man  though doing karmais not attached

 

8+9)a yogi who is philosopher when he see,touches,smells,while eats,walks, breaths,while talks,while leavibg,while taking,while opens eye,closes eye, deciding that senses   indulge in  their own objects should know ‘ I am not doing anything’.

 

10)who puts karmas in eshwara,leaving interest in karma fruits(results) performs karma he-lke lotus leaf not attached to  water-will not be attached by sins.

 

11)by body mind intellect  and senses yogies leaving interest  in results(fruits),doing karma for sathva shuddhi.

 

12) yogi leaving interest in karma fruits attains peace in form of  sincirity(niste).

One who is not suitable(unfit) by lust induction  getting interest in fruit gets bound.

 

13)man who  has won senses leaving all karmas by mind,without doing anything  in body with nine doors without  getting done anything will be happy.

 

14)athma(self) has not created  doership to people, no kaema, no karma fruit relation.but  by  nature only does work.

 

15)self will not  take anybody’s  sin or punya(good deed).,knowledge is covered by ignarance. Therefore animals are  are geting fascinated.

 

16)but by athma jnana(self knowledge)  whose ignorance is destroyed their self knowledge like sun will make parabrahma to shine.

 

17)who  have firm intellect in brahma only,who has kept mind in  brahma only,who are sincere to brahma(brahmanistas),who remembers brahma only as fate,who have washed   dirt  by  jnana they will attain moksha.

 

18)brahmin with   education  and humbleness ,cow,elephant,dog and dog muton eater-in both these  jnanies are  equal visioned. (samadrishti)

 

19)whose mind is standing in brahmathey will win family here only.because brahma is defectless and equal.therefore they stand in brahma only

 

20)brahmajnani who has firm mind,fascinationless,who exists in brahma only,should not become  happy by having favourable(like)  and should not shrink by having unfavourable(dislike).

 

21)one who is not interested in  sound excetra external objects will have peace in inner mind(anthahkarana).this yogi who  has self with brahmayoga(athmayoga) gets eternal(reductionless,akshaya) joy.

 

22)hey arjuna,those enjoyments produced by union of senses and objects,they are cause of sorrow and have production and destruction.jnani does not rest(play) with them.

 

23)before fall of body (death) who tollerates  speed produced by kama(lust)and anger he is only yogi.he is happy man.

 

24)one who finds joy in athma only,rests in athma,like that has light   in athma(self) that yogi attains  brahma form(brahma svarupa) and gets liberation.

 

25)dirtless,dvandvaless(beyond duals)sense wimmers engaged in favour of all animals rushies will attain liberation.

 

26)those who are relieved by lust(kaama) and anger,those with controlled mind,

Those who understand athma properlyto those yogies(yathies) brahma nirvana

(liberation) is present everywhere.

 

27+28)keeping away external matters,keeping vision between  eye brows,making prana and apaana mooving inside nose equal,muni who has controlled senses mind  intellect  liberation  sincere (paraayana),without desireless  fearless  angerless he is always liberated.

 

29)enjoyer of yajna abd penance,maheshwara of all worlds,suhruth(good heart) of all animals nowing me like this,yogi attains peace.

 

Chapter  5 of sanyasayoga is completed

Chapter 6.dhyanayoga(meditation yoga):s

 

Sri krishna told:

1)without depending upon karma fruits one who does what is to be done he himself is sanyasi and he himself is yogi,one  without  fire(only sanyasi) ,action person(only yogi) should  not  be understood.

 

2)hey arjuna,what is called sanyasa call that only as sanyasa know that itself as yoga. Because nobody who   unless renunciates determination can,t become yogi.

 

3)to muni who wans  to have yoga karma is means it is told.to muni who is yogarudha peace is means it is said.

 

4)this yogi  not gets interest  in sense objects, in karmas,when he  renunciates  all determinations then he is called yogaruda

 

5)self should be developed by self only.should not shrink  by himself.because mind only is  one’s relative, mind itself  is   enemy.

 

6)by whose athma(self)  one’s mind is won,to such athma  mind is relative.

But for one who has not won senses one’s mind is in feel of hatred like enemy

 

7)for one who has  won  one’s  mind ,peaceful in heat and cold,firm in joys and sorrows ,honour and dishonour athma(self) is  specially united(samaahitha).

 

8) one who has peace of mind(satisfied mind) ,kutastha(firm),sense winnerwho sees soil stone gold equally,that yogi is called ‘yuktha’.

 

9)in good hearted  friend enemy negligent,middle one, hateble,-in all these,in saadhus(saints) and sinners one who has equal  intellect(mind) is high among yogaruda.

 

10)living in peopleless place alone,controling body and mind,desireless,,not accepting anything(aparigrahi)  yogi should always keep his mind in yoga.

 

11)in clearn  place putting one upon another-kusha(darbhe),leather,cloth ,firm  too high or too low putting asana(posture)-

 

12)siting on that  position(asana),concentrating mind,,one who controls  mind and senses should yoga for  purification of mind(innermind).

 

13,14)keeping body,head,and neck equally and firm,firmly  observing  tip of nose

,without seing directions,as peaceful and fearlessmaintaining in celibecy(brahmacharya),,controling mind,keeping mind in me only,thinking myself as para(high) should be proper(yuktha).

 

15)yogi who has controled mind,keeping himself in yoga always, will attain supreme nirvana and peace in me.

 

16)hey arjuna,there no yoga for one who eats excessively and for who eats very  less.to one who sleeps excessively and who is awaken much no yoga.

 

17)yoga destroys sorrow to him who is limited in food and walk,in karmasand in sleep and awakenness.

 

18)when controled mind stands in athma,then,having no desires in all karmas,is called yogi.

 

19)to yogi practicing athma yoga to his mind is given similieof’like a lamp undisturbed by a non blowing air region.

 

20,21,22,23)when by practice(service) f yoga controled mind becomes peaceful,when feels happy seing athma by pure mind in himselfand when knows intellectually grasps ,beyond senses,that joyfulness ,by staying in which does not moov by principle(thathva),by having whichdoes not consider any profit higher than that,by staying in which does not moov,even by great sorrows,that yogashould be considered(known).as yogawhich removes relation of sorrow.such yoga should be practiced.with decided(fixed and enthusiastic mind.

 

24,25)rejecting all kamas(lusts) totallywhich are practiced by decision (determination) controling all sides of  group of senses  by mind only

,with bold intellect should return slowly. Making  mind to stand in self(athma) nothing should be thought.

 

26)fickle,non firm mind comes out by which matters  controling  mind  from  that matters(objects)should be controlled in  athma.

 

27)peaceful minded,rajoless(desireless),dirtless,having brahma feelthat which yogi  gets better joy.

 

28)like this always keeping athma in yoga dirtless yogi without strain gets higher joy which is called’brahma touch’(brahma samsparsha).

 

29)equal   visioned every  where yogaful athma(yoga yukthathma) sees athma in all animals,and all animals   in athma.

 

30)who sees me everywhereand sees everything in me to him  I will not go without being seen  and  he will not go without seing me.

 

31)one who is residing in ekathva(oneness of all,samyak darshana)  who in all animals and worships me ,then yogi resides in myself,how ever he may be.

 

32)hey arjuna,one who sees equallyjoys and sorrowsin all animalsthat yogiis called high(shresta)(supreme).this is my openion.

 

Arjuna told:

33)hey madhusudana,which  yoga of samathva rupa(equality form)is told,as mind is ficklei am not seing it’s firm condition.

 

34)hey krishna,mind is fickle,of the nature of producing  disturbance(distraction),strong,firm,.it’s control is very  difficult like that of air.

 

srikrishna told:

35) hy mahabaho(great armed),mind is very difficult to control and fickle(unfirm).it is doubtful.hey arjuna, sby practice and dejection (disattachment) it can be controlled.

 

36)it is my openionthat yoga is not attainable(difficult to attain) to one who has not controled mind.but to triajful   sense winner(jithendriya)(by above said) plan(technique) it is possible to attain

 

Arjuna told:

37)hey krishna,even if one is sincere one who does not try and who has mind mooved awayby yoga that man,without getting yogasiddhi will attain which moovment(fate,gathi)

 

38)hey mahabaho great armed,,innocent in path of  attainment of brahma,ubhaya brasta(out of order on both sides?) ,non dependent (purusha)

 Will he not get destroyed like  broken cloud?

 

39)hey krishna,this my doubt you are fit to remove remainderlessly.except you nobody will be there to  solve this doubt.

 

Srikrishna told:

40)hey arjuna,to yogabhrasta (faiien from yoga)  in this world and other world there is no destruction.  Because ono does welfare works will not get lower level.

 

41)yogabhrasta(fallen down from yoga,out of order) having world of punya people.living there for many years,later  takes birth  good behaved(sadachara) and rich people.

 

42)or takes birth in intellectual(dheemantha) yogies family.such birth in this world is  difficult t get.

 

43)hey  kuru  nandana(divine kuru) there  related to previous lifewill get relation of intellect.thogh he is jignasu(desire of knowing ) of yoga .later for it’s siddhi trys vesy much.

 

44)by that previous practice he will be attracted dependently(not independently). Though he is jignasu(desir for know) of yoga   excels fruits of karmas  told by vedas.

 

45)one who is practicimg by trial(efferts) kilbishsa less(dirtless,defectless)having siddhi from many births ,such yogiafterwards attains supreme   fate(gathi,moovment).

 

46)it is my penion that yogi is higher than penanciers,,jnanies,and karmies

(who do karmas).hey arjuna become yogi.

 

47)one who is sincereand who  worships by mind having me,he is higher than all yogies.this is my openion.
