YASHODHARACHARITHE (JANNAKAVIYA) TRANSLATED BY DR.RAVEENDRA HOSADURGA

 

 

           

JANNAKAVIYA YASHODHARA CHARITHE:A KANNADA MAHAKAVYA WRITTEN BY POET JANNA.PUBLISHED BY KANNADA SAHITHYA PARISHATTHU,PAMPA MAHAKAVI ROAD,CHAMARAJAPET, BENFALURU 560018. FIRST AVATHARA(FIRST INCARNATION):

1)Purudeva(Adithirthankara) excetras who were graced by liberation lass  Suvratha also  got graced.But to him good name “nondesirer of other’s wives”(nondesirer of other lasses)  came!He is god of god also.Such Suvratha  let grave suvratha(good vow) to us.

 

2)Jina,siddha,Acharya,upadhyaya, and sadhu called pancha paramesties  feet are only lotus gardens.They spreading fragrance called devotion, this mind called bee let do  to attack on them.

 

3)To me Veerasenacharya,jinasenacharya,Simhanandi, famous kondakundacherya, with friendship   produce their greatness properly.

 

4) whether they are Ganadharas,swamis, we have not understood their charecters. But by doing namaskarams to them,  surelywe will become holy.Such Samanthrabhrdras,ganadharas,pujyapadas(worshipable feet)  stories(akhyanas) let cool us.

 

5)”In samskrutha(sanakrit),in prakritha  ,in kannada, in this world who composed, their good intellect(sanmathi) to us easy word usage  system .let give help.By their good works, let rasavath usage  get accomplished(siddhi).

 

6)Nandi completed. Next like Devendra in god form in poets group, and like kalpalathas(imagination creeper), poets  having supremacy like mandara,,the work which I have to under take is  descrption of  family of  Balladeva .

 

7)Having imagination, very elegant(rasika), gentleman,,one who had studied scriptures,,having all charecters, such  except to that god, good poetry’devanampriya  will it ge hraspable?”

 

8)By mere listening of poetry(poem) only, he can match word(sound,shabda),,character,alankara,rithi,rasa, feel(bhaava),vritthi  named  all poetry related matters  each to each. For this reason he is sahithyalotus  matthamarala( king swan which gets intoxicated  by sahithya named lotuses called sahithya(literature) award he has got.

 

9)In vasanthike of Shakapura, a tiger with anger  was rushing binside. Then intending sala of  yadu family,,giving his brush’s stick  gurutold ‘Hoy sala’.ss Therefore he became hoysala.

 

10)Vikramadithya   made to blossom  lotus lake of  hoysala kings fame.He is father of king called Ereyanga. To bittideva he is grandfather.

 

11) In future vishnunripala(Vishnu king,bittideva) became king. Other nation Gangavadi  ninety six thousand  became under his control.Much area  he  gave to Brahmins donations.s He was seventh emperor  among hoysalas.

 

12)Guving donation, fighting, and protecting, character   as he came  equal to level of Vishnu,for remaining kings it was not possinle. Were remaining  were sons to Echaladevi and ereyanga king.?

 

13) To Bittideva who was treasure of boldness, was equal to that of Ballala. He was Narasimha’s son.Nobody was equal to him.These grand father and grand childern’sky only is like sky’ like this they are mutually equal.s

 

14) When Ballala saw stubbornness of  enemies, he was occupying  those forts(durgas).Then by hits of  valiant soldiers  on his side  tied in stable(laya) by hit of  hooves(gorasus), forts of enemies got destroyed without name.

 

15)ocean which sorrounds   whole eart,,great valiant Ballala’s  fame  was appearing  as   white flood. Kink conquered  earth upto ocean.produced fear to all kings.

 

16)His chalada(......?)  strength’s shining isazing. Valience emperor (chakreshwara) his brightness  in four directions  has got firm position. There  tjhree and other few king’s forehead (front head) it resided specially. It produces severe pain to them.

 

17) Previously who were famous for poetry wereMunja,bhoja,uthpala, sriharsha named kings. This ballala was  higher than those two times,three times,four times,five times.

 

18)In durbar of that king, mant art experts are there. In midst of those  lifting up figure standing  to win all of them who is very capable is janna.He  after becoming  four kind scholar, what shall I say about depth? .He is suksvi bhalalochana.(bhaala=?).

 

19) As an expert in grammer he has become grammarian(vayyakarana). He has  got scholarship  getting fun in logic(tharka). In dance scripture,kamashasthra(lust scriptures) getting good knowledge, who can make to appear style(charm) janna is poet rajashekhara.s As yadava rajacchathra  has attracted attention of all.As yadava rajacchathra  has become friend of all scholars.

 

20) As treasure of skills,,as residence(base) of challenge,as ocean of renunciation, as place  of adventure, as treasure highness(greatness) having life himself is janna. He is rathna of  kamme family ornament.

 

21) previously kannara gave award  Kavi chakravarthi(poet emperor) to ponna. Later thailapa  liking Ranna  gave award kavi chakravarthy(poet emperor). Ballala honouring janna  gaveaward poet emperor(kavi chakravarthy).

 

22)His guru Ramachandra ganda  is liberated. He was bead of kanurgana. By effect of such guru only, janna ggot great greatmess(mahamahime). Among all bhavyas (liberation desirers,followers of jina) he shined as rathna of art.

 

23)s Vani parvathi  joined and made a miracle(pavada). To poet sumanobana  as son poet Bhala lochana is there.Like this  made name spread to  all world.

 If they have done in this way with love means,there is no need to wonder.

 

24) At the time of Jivadayastami( Astami of navarathri,eighth day of navarathri)

 Shravaka people  undertake fasting. For sake of  making parane through ears to them,,let there be this one story .with this consideration  janna has written this poetry(kavya).

 

25) History is one clean  Amrutha ocean. Like kalpavriksha born in that,

 

 This story is born rasaful(rasathmaka). It produces to inellect’s group   no wonder in giving much joy.s

 

26) To listen Yashodharacharithe means, is like happening of moon rise. Then all  dark like sins will melt. Firm faith in dharma (religion)itself is  sanyakdarshana(right vision). To people who perform jivadayastami  this samuakdarshan on hearing this story  like naidiles(water lilies) gets blossomed.

 

27) rajapura is capitol of  Bharatha continent’s Ayodhya  country. It was shining to whole world like  head ornament. There higher level of beauty residing  there, was producing joy to all people.

 

28)King’s palace  high like Meru and shining with grandeur in that city. Sea shines like ditches(kandaka) to it. Diamond(vajravedike) stage itself  shines as it’s prakara(avarana,enclosure).Totally rajapura   as though collecting  summary of all jambu islands here only.

 

29)In that city shine manimadas In their loves(........?)  threading group of new pearls   have decorated. By that vspreads cool light.This light to sun who moves during day seen as though appelying  layer of Srigandha(sandal).

 

30) In deep dark also it appears as though  there is flood of flood of tender sunlight.Hire(gourd.?) flower golden colour having skilled work  of  by upstairs this pure brightness spreads.

 

31)In those high upstairs  lasses are moving from here and there slowly like kingswans.Not able to equal  to be their  face system(mandala) moon is performing chandrayana  vow(vratha).

 

32)Many jina mansions(bhavanas)  have decorated that city.As their kalashas are made up of red  crystals even at night  time crossing red colour of Sunriseenlighten.Flags of jina temples rising to very heights, standing   getting friendship of kethu planet make ill fun of solarsystem.

 

33)Rajapura like this  to development of all treasures  as birthplace,mother house(thavaru) of renunciation,enjoyment bhavana(mansion) as though.Who rules that is Maridattha named king.

 

34)sOn south side of Rajapura is residing  chandamari named godess.Always killing of many jivies(lives) itself is  joy stimulating to her. In sin art she is great scholar.

 

35)All people of that city, ,making their king in front, in months of ashwayuja and chaithra(spring) month, there jathre(car festival) should join.All kinds of worships should be performed.If not done, that godess  will destroy all people at once.

 

36)sOnce chaithra month came. Appearing coming child moon(balachandra) was like head bait  used for worship of godess,  buded out ashoka tree, was fire swing,tone sung by cuckoos  only becoming blaming words, Vasantha season cane.

 

37) To give harake(offerings) to that godess(devi), catching head only, under flowered mango tree, munchikeyalii((before only?) killing him by cutting(chaping) kept  as though flesh mass ,in that garden withered fallen  mutthuga(....?)buds were appearing as red.,

 

38)In garden king parrots were singing loudly.”hey,mari godess,malayamarutha(hill air) group of new lotuses, named kenda(burning charcoal)  doing  deerghadanda namaskaras  is coming.Keep  attention  this side”.

 

39)s In that way arrived vasantha time  Maridattha king,city people,all gathering together  to chandamari godess ,so as to please to celebrate jathra (car festival), gathered there.

 

40)Piercing by sword, dedicating worship, and also offering harake in  other ways, lakhs and lakhs of godess worshipers, became ready there.gathering all of them Maridattha  did pradakshina to  godess temple.Did namaskarams.Later stood in ddrama  stage(rangamantapa) of temple.

 

41) Calling his thalara(thalavara?)”you make to come  ‘manushyayugma’ now only. As usual myself only sacrificing ( killing)s them should worship.If we don’t follow custom godess may get angry. As effect she will also not miss and behave regarding us.Therefore  make quickly.

 

42)All remaining citizens are going to give sacrifice of many life masses. Don’t delay.Like this he ordered.

Thalara telling order of  Chandakarma,  gave answer.suddenly  by this time my servents might have  brought sacrifices.Thinking like this,

 

43)Tender aged, having good features, intelligent, born in good family,searching for human pair,  he went from  Mari garden,

 

44)On this side Sudatthacharya  named guru,  added with  his five hundred desciples , comimg to  garden of capital , to atonement of arrival(gamana)  had  stayed   there only.

 

45)His character,his  mind control,his penance, all these were not possible to ordinary people.If  his name is told  enough,to that tongue mother’s breast milk also  will not be  tasteful.

 

46)like a Sun who makes to blossom lotuses Sudatthacharya

 Was  cause for expansion of  desciples group.They joining these munies groups  as part of vow(vratha) did fasting.Later calling two children   sent for doing bhiksha and bring.

 

47)Those  children   doing namaskarams to feet of guru, went.At bthat time only  like tiger catching  two little deers, chandakarma held them.

 

48)Abhayaruchi and Abhayamathi  named  those two children chandakarma was indulged in sinful works, caught and started to cut.Both came to know his intention.Abhayaruchi with his sister “hey sister, don’t be afraid that death has come near us”like this  started to talk.

 

49)“who can cross fate rule?If feared for that what is the use?If anything happens  to bear it itself is  justified path. To win over  coming”parishahas(twenty two kinds of kleshas) itself is  called by name penance(thapassu). Has penance two other horns?”

 

50) Abhayamthi  grasped  brother’s words  well. She also started to talk..”brother, shall we not eat fruit of  what we have done? Why nto fear for that?After taking birth  , naturally all  changes(vikaraas) come.this we know?

 

51)to crores of dangers this body itself is  house?After wearing this body,to search for happiness is one only(same), In stony hill  to search for matured madala fruit is also same.

 

52)To which forest rain was needed, it rained there only.Some how let us spend burden of this body.To me and you  this appearing disappearing (drowning) trouble is  played(ploughed) land,eaten medicine, seen topic”

 

53)brother sister ,sister brother  consoled each other like this.These who are princes  talikg consolation words like this,s moving forward with  no worries  entered that Mari’s house.

 

54)Mai temple was like kitchen of  yama.cutting keepin g palms and soles  few valients, valients who pull out eye and keepingto devi(odes) few,,pulling out intestines  few were tieing festoons. Few who bwere burning legs,baking rice by blood, were filled around

 

55)Digging mouth making palate to appear,piercing bait there,,making gait to come out in head top(netthi), swining at height  valiant purushas  were appearing in line and line. Making birds to fear in land,  for  making to run away, tieing berchus,  making to stand, here these valients  to protect sinful crop  were made to stand.

 

56) Brought for sacrifice goat,sheep,hen,he bufello, excetra animals  community (group)  with fear were screaming  harshly.Echo of that screaming had spread through out   forest. Land dried up ,naturally had split.

 

 For trouble  of those dumb animals, as though whole forest is crying,,as though earth broke chest due to sorrow, was appearing.

 

57) In  front of outer prakara (enclosure, compound) of Mari temple, in all directions  killed(sacrificed)  human skulls, were kept in line. Mari godess desiring  flesh (mamsa,mutton), very much  outside life(jiva) masses , with many faces as though seing, that vision was fearful.

 

58)In midst of these Bhairava’s,yama’s, mari’s muri(........?)”Maridattha  standing. Those two valiant children,  came near Maridattha and stood. On seing their  form(swarupa), he did not know what to do.

 

59)people on the side of king,”bless, bless  our king(rajendra)!” like this shoulted. Then valiant  like  mandaragiriAbhayaruchi,”high among kings,protect  earth clean  religion!” blessed like this.

 

60)As soon as he heard this blessing words, king without cutting keeping,”what is this! Before this  to all those who enter this temple   feel aas though jiva goingoffIn this way  non fearing  I have not seen so far!

 

61)to pulled out sword,,to standing myself,  death form  without fearing even a little,  to anybody they have spoken.s Their behaviour is very great! Truely these children, are valients only!

 

62)spair of moons  wearing human form, so as to take birth on this earth,  brightness of these is  shining. Relly beauty of these, to  eye, sweet like  thavaraja(...........?) sweet. To this child.These children I found today.

 

63)Childern, which is your family? Whose children you are? From where did you come.Why did  you undertook this  bhiksha vritti?” In  this tender  age , why have you undertaken  this bhiksha vritthi?” like this maridattha  asked.

 

64)”king listen” like this started Abhayaruchi.”our behaviour(conduct) is pure(clean).It is tasteful only to those who are  in favour of religion ,and not liked by others. To tell you, path of that religion is more distant  than  Narmada. Why to ask us?

 

65)Let those words be like that only. Hey king, what you feel suitable  do it.For us all matter is  from bottom to tip  are like amla(nelli) in palm. This worldly (bhava) bondage only has made us to   yield to various kinds of sorrows.

 

66)King, character rathna ornaments of  good charectered,,to those whovare bad hearted, can’t be seen well.If  oil is attached to mirror  will there be  bright  reflection image”like this told  Abhayaruchi.

 

67)Suddenly   Maridattha’s lotus palm  closed. Abhayaruchi son, while talking, his teeth’s brightness spreading, felt as though moon rise has happened.Then sum of all  dark sins, disappeared somewhere.whenlotuses close  bees go outside.Like this , Maridattha’s sins went off.

 

68)When money is found, mind of poor  attack to it. In same way all servents of king, foreheads , to abhayaruchi who is polite treasure, bent. Then that son  to Maridattha with love told like this.

 

69)”shahabbas(good) king! You made to reside your mind in  kindles.Ahaha! What you questioned is for your good only.Next  you are going to live in good path  properly.Will kalalabdhi  makes to miss path?

 

70)king, how you heard in the same way give mind and listen.The good story  which I am going to tell, brings you  victory(jayasri)  and liberation lass.No doubt in this.

 

71)From lotus face of Srimath  thirthankara  came out mangala(good doing) words. It is consoling to all languages. Through that  words(vachana) path only  I will tell a story which we have seen.listen”telling like this  Abhayaruchikumara   started to tell story to Maridattha.

 

72) Mind running only in violence  to Mardattha Abhayaruchi  kumara  telling matter of punya(good,merit) brought him to path of dharma(religion). Such mangalakara(good doing ) story  listening with much joy, bhavya prabhu meet, mangala sampath(treasure)  play shines.”

SECOND INCARNATION:

1)    That story is like this:Avanthi country is shining like  bhudevi’s(earth godess)face. In that smile(bud)  shines like nose Ujjayinipura.

 

2)To that city  as king  Yashougha was shining. Many kings  while doing namaskarams to him,in their heads with crown, Yashougha’s brightness(thejas) was enlighting like  padmaraga lamp.

 

2)    Among famous kings, prominent(thilaka praya,equal thilaka) Yashougha’s queen  Chandramathi. His eyes only are protecting her like body guard. His mind is ornament to him. Rajyalakshmi is her companion..when it so, to her also queenship has resided properly.

 

4)At night moon, day time vasantha(spring), in queue system,, as body protecter(body  guard), are protecting their love. Day and night kama himself is doing their service.

 

5)To Chandramathi and yashougha who were in so much love, Yashodhara  named  took birth as son.,to bow of sugar cane and  to nane(......?) rope  as janamohana(people fascinating)  arrow takes birth.

 

6)Kumara yashodhara  in beauty  extraordinarily  like Vidyadhara  was very attractive. To see him luck to eyes. To speak with him to mouth  very much sweet rasayana. To lift him and pamper is punya(merit) of arms.

 

7) when he was seen, whether he is child moon(balachandra),,or arrow of manmatha  or malayamarutha(mountain air) curiosity was produced to all those saw him.

 

8) His both arms were long and stretched. In enemies work of  holding pulling out knot of  rajyalakshmi, as those were engaged, in his broad(vast) chest, resided lakshmikariniLakshmi named female elephant),to prevent from moving away to other place  on both sides like fixing  two rathna pillars, his arms were shining.

 

9) Yashodhara’s beloved only is Amrithamathi. To kama who is hunter by  attracting  that king, arresting mind came(happened). He making Amrithamathi herself as humble(deena)  made to get fascinated. Yashodhara had liked Amrithamathi very much.

 

10) wearing shield, on seing forward moving  age  to his son, Yashougha seing making to wear rathna ornaments rajyabharathi (state ruling) upon him, to  swing himself in in manmatha’s love ocean, made a chance.

 

11)Thief drlling hole, getting caught situation came. Then him a small lamp light  unexoectedly shows him.Indulged in shringara(decoration,make up), holding wrong path  yashougha  also coming to right path  good situation as though coming itself by nitself. On one day in durbar when he saw his face in mirror, saw his  hair whitening. 

 

12) In light of enquiry, he saw different only.”to his face which is palace like, nare(whitened,matured) wild pegion, entering  produced amangala (non good). In this palace, Kamini darshana named king how he will perish?” As soon as this thought (worry) came, yashougha, renunciated(left) all  sense attractions.

 

13) Therefore to carry  burden of weight, made yashodhara to agree. Now to yashougha  like an elephant tied pillar,getting  as though liberated, felt happy. He went to penance garden. Following  him  other hundred kings also  went off.

 

14) As yashougha went off,to earth godess(Bhudevi) pain of separation increased. To cool this burning  she applied  sandal  called fame of yashodhara.Not only that, yashodhara  always while giving vdonation, pouring continuous  water rain, got help of.

 

15)””Ayyodifficulty! Father sent off  rajyalakshmi you held hand! Friendship of people like you, is not acceptable to us” like this leaving yashodhara  went up to horizon(digantha).his kirthikamini(famelass).

 

16) Brightness of his victory, spread on all sides. With strength of these, other couples  losing lordship (husbandship,gandagalike), earth  tolerated brightness.

 

17)sWhole earth rised his shoulder. But to that king family shekhara (rajakulashekhara),like kasthuri thilaka it was  decorative and not a burden. Like ornament of youth, got earth he  corrects in face mirror of Amrithamathi.

 

18)sonce, king  yashodhara  was in rathna fixed  assembly mantap(durbar). Rising from there  like swan  rising going to  pulina sthala(pulina place) rising pure mansion  entered his bed room.

 

19)Kama to people’s mind garden(janamanovana) as though has  opened  tube(channel) of fragrance smoke creeper kalagaru*blackscent)  was emitting spreading out from window. From that bed room  that smoke  was black like wingof pegion.

 

20)There kasthuri powder,dust of campher was spread.Tender bees attacking fragrance  were coming around there.Then i arising whirl wind  those powders were flying above.On seing this blue pearl light powder  as though buding out from premarasa(love rasa) was appearing.

 

21)Shining like thi in that   white house (dhavalagara), chandramathi’s son  Yashodhara  joined with Amrithamathi.Adding with abhrama(..?) Airavatha  with much celebration  as though coming to bed room, these couples were  appearing.

 

22)Rathna fixedbeautiful cot’s peace  had beautified hamsathulika thalpa(special bed) much further.When both of them sat on that, brightness of rainbow  spreaded  sharath seasons(winter,or end of rainy season) on  clean cloud garland  shining gandharva couples were appearing.

 

23) one was seing another with love.Those two’s  glance(kataksha)  light bud  touching each other ,both of them started to sweat.When moon light touched marble  bead doll, as it melts pouring water.

 

24)One’s body touched another’s body.,mutually embraced.kissed. neck tone started to listen sweet. By expertness in union  they both forgot each other. They had no sense of sorroundings.As dancing machine of kama both of them united.

 

25)  srxual  Intercourse joy  made them to lose control(paravashathe). Then though they lost tightness of body embrace,,without forgetting  mutual arms  were knit.they  became sealed by sleep.

 

26) Their eyes which were drowned in deep sleep ,when they were closed,their eye brow joining two  sugar canws, like tied bow was appearing. Like this  as though tieing beeas garland  as here(thread,string tied to bow) their thick  eye lid’s hairs were  were shining.

 

27) Both beloveds were sleeping. In session’s ukkadas(oictroi) rounding here and there yamikas  noise hided.Then mavutha(elephant care taker)  by the side of that palace, as his queue came  started to sing for his own joy.

 

28)His son’s melodious tone  to sleep of Amrithamathi became like   kathakaseed(cleaning agent, also called chalbija).She got out of sleep. Listened song by giving eaar.It touched her mindSuddenly  gave mind as gift.

 

29)sVery much joyful  stylish(charming) good tome, joined with jhampaya(a kind of thala,rythm).From there it continued in special essay.Lter flowing in special dance,in a kind of artificial  jump  that tune(raga) got formed.

 

30)Same Malavasri desi tune(local raga), lamp fleme in upstairs  became more bright, this tune got  shringara(decoration,make up).That contineuing  safely Walked in proper way.

 

31) without counting rythms of beats also, while listening only, prabandha(?) joining with respective beat movement of  that that jathi(group), was listening.

In this way  that song,giving suitable form to it, was singing.”

 

32) When that mavutha  was singing that song  very melodiously   his very new song, was listening to ear. Mind of Amrithamathi got disturbed. To her became in eyes only. Till morning how shall I see him,how shall i join,this worry  boiled  and flowd like  sea.

 

33)As soon as it became morning, she called her   lovable friends. With her opened all desires of mind. She sent her to mavutha.As per order of  lordess( mistress,odathi) she came near mavutha.As soon as she saw him from distance,to her mind and eye  vomiting sensation occurred. She without able to stand there, immediately returned.

 

34)”Ayyo god! Where Amrithamathi  where  low form(low beauty) Astavanka?’peculear!woman(lass)  loves with unfit’this talk happened!To that bad fate  no eyes at all!”

 

35)  Thought  like this, came in her mind. Carrying this only she returned. What  to see her?That king’s wife has dried up her face only. When she will  return thinking like this she is seing  path only by keeping eye.

 

36)”like sword in the hand of kama, getting much beauty  shining thanugathri(...?) you are.Such you, how did you search this kind of kamadeva!how did you love?I don’t know these things!

 

37) Comparing in which type he is,,to show  nobody in world can be like him! Curved words of friend Amrithamathi did not understand. Her curiosity increased( got irritated) further.”tell,tell! Is my beloved  so much  handsome?Hey messengress (lay messenger),tell quickly. Without telling you are killing me!” like this  hastened her.

Gara gara sound.sIn eyes tears filled. Cheat shook. Like a deer  pierced by arrow of hunter she became stagnant(immovable). Later slowly started to talk.

 

42)”colour of kasthuri is black. Is it neglected due to it’s colour? As it is nodule nodule(nodes,nodes)  will any body reject log of  sandal wood?Though rain bow is bent(curved) nobody will blame it.Mad, If there is defect  in biody of whom we like, that becames their speciality.

 

43)Apart from that, if mind likes, again there will be no question of beauty only. After effect what is the use of cause?Today he is my family god. He himself is kamadeva. He himself is Indra, he himself is moon!”

 

44) Amrithamathi gave bribe to her. She made her to be unde her control.s She told what is to be told with her. She got her  words of acceptance also. She sent her to her beloved. Maid messenger(messengress?) added hands to  her work . Made both of them to meet. From that day onwards  Amrithamathi day and night when ever is   there was leasure, started to  spend her  time in his company.

 

45) To Amrithamathi who was like godess of beauty,in company of that handicapped(vikala chethana)  and in union, found very much taste. To crow which likes neem will mango taste? To Amrithamathi also mind   dried up (murutu) in Yashodhara. 

 

46) By the time she saw her husband,while talking with him,in situation of kissing(pampering), Amrithamathi was not like before. On observing that Yashodhara, flashed in mind to pursue (parambarisu)well.

 

47) Once he acted as though sleeping  by forgetting body.Then Amrithamathi, female bee caught in  naidile(water lilly),when it comes out   when day is spent  ,relieving from arm bondage of husband,  went  to her  jaara(womaniser).

 

48)Yashodhara also got up. Like punishment going in search of defect,,holding removed out(sacked out) sword,,he without seen by anybody, went behind her only. On that side was burning  with anger as queen was not coming at  right time.

 

49)sAll  flower,sandal,thambula(pan), excetras he  spilled and spread(dispersed). Holding pulling her hairs, like (vulture sgiduga) attacking on king swan, to her back hit strongly  with  skin whip.

 

50) Catching her fill haired knot, as  as kudiya(.........?) crushes fibre, crushed her. As this much is not enough, hit with his  split leg  so basto peel her skin. But still falling on his feet  rolled like kere snake.

 

51)”slowly,there was delay true,beat as you like, but don’t be angry upon me. I did I  delayed causelessly?That sinner king   making me to sit on thigh, started decoration mischief. I had to keep quiet simply.

 

52)gajavedanga(mavutha),  To me your tone tasteful to ear,your beauty tasteful to eyes, if you also leave me death is sharanu(surrendering)! Other males are equal to  brothers only,believe”like this in many ways  so as to produce faith in him , consoled.

55)” In war field  bathing in valient’s blood  becoming holy, this sword creeper, should it lose  brightness  by mud of  this black faced dirty jiva(person)?If it happens so , fame which is spread up to eight directions  bud becomes like drinking  bitter gouard(kahi sore)?

 

56) I have  now found that she is in  desire with other. But for that reason if I cut and throw  will her desire fulfil(end)?When female misses  and walks  shall I leave her simply  telling “chi!dirt!”? By winning like that  I may have to take birth in hell in which she takes birth.This is not skill!”

 

57) thinking like this, deciding not to use sword to hit,he returned to palace  without standing there, and slept in bed as before. In short time Amrithamathi also returned. Thinking king is in deep sleep,slowly came near and slept.

 

58)To his back her touch happened. Previously by her touch only he was experiencing  joy. Now as vame became anti  breasts which were  vritthapeena

(circular), breasts to him now became hanging (swinging)breasts

 

59)If  sour  touches milk,if honey is mixed with water, will  taste  remain? When yashodhara was in bed,in his wife to whom very low person’s arm  is touched in his wife not even a little taste remained.

 

60)On telling this much only, maridattha who was listening with  indulgence  became excited. Arms which were embracing such a husband, what made to embrace that  ugly person(handicapped) is  that fate.

 

61)on hearing this, abhayaruchikumara, explained to him nature of fate. Whe fate play’s  help is got    maye of manmatha  destroying people  makes total destructions  makes victory announcements.s

 

62) The drama stage which is got for this is,  authourity pride(ego,adhikara mada)),Those who do this, in front of their eyes only, kama through lasses thinking bad pride, makes to play various kinds of  dramas.”

 

63) MARIDATTHA’S MIND COULD NOT TOLLERATE.”Even such beautiful wife also  becomes renunciable(rejectable) like that,,loving wife,or getting love from them, talk is satisfaction to lass only!Making masses of  who have such wealth, should be put to fire  chi!

 

64)The wife whom I loved, as fickle, if she is interested in love means, what joy?Instead of that if liberation is  loved  to me treasure of supreme treasure will also be got.The fruit of liberation also exists permanently  upon me.s When it is like this,no relation of any kind of females is not needed.”

 

65) Yashodhara who enquired in many ways like this,,struggling in that only, made morning in eyes only.Mangala(good) instruments of good morning, sounded. That sound  was sas though awakening him by patting thigh.

 

66) He bent back and got up.As daily routine  gave donations. Saw his face in ghee. Touching body of kapila cow  moved forward. Reached vicinity of queen. She  listening  skilled words of  few aquainted people, was expressing her likings.

 

67) Yashodhara moving near as though interested in love,talking some words (chatokthies)of decoration(shringara),with the some nepa(false reason), hit her with naidile(water  illy) flower. Suddenly Amrithamathi became unconscious. As soon as champaka flower fragrance touched bee will forget it’s body. By her acting, yashodhara became angry.

 

68) He made it to appear in bent words.”Ayyayyo! got very much pained!She is very much beautiful(sukumari). Lift and treat!”  like this told  with bent

69)By grace of god , bad death  that might have come today,

 Was also avoided! Ear ornament naidile(water lilly) flower  has become ear ornament today. As time of death is nearing, became likesacked  one ornament!

 

70) Bad work which happened yesterday night, yashodhara expressed like this through blaming words. Debatured Amrithamathi  was not without knowing Then she got bored once. While she recovered yashodhara was not there.As his mind was disturbed, without standing there, had gone near his mother.

 

71)When son came  she  saw his face only with attention.sDue to increase in son affection(kindness), her breast milk  spilled and flowd. It became  holy bath water to yashodhara. Mother chabdramathi lifted her son who did namaskarams to her. Blessed him. Embraced with love. Corrected curley hairs which were dispersed here and there, she talked and showd way of her son.

THIRD INCARNATION (AVATHARA):

1)Yashodhara,in vast chest  making eternal vasantha(spring)   to reside,there to sri lass making pearl garland as swing,kings who make to swing that and this side in that apart from you who is there”,

 

2)To you nandies are doing mangalashamsana(appreciation). I n their  house yard lakshmidevi is playing   vanakreeda(garden play,forest play).To this,here and there  creeped grown  mandara,nameru(suragi), parijatha, excetra trees  have come into effect as steps.

 

3)    Among humans  you  only are manobhava(manasija,mind born).

Mama’s kalpavalli  waves  divine garden like, Abalaraja ,in your play vasantha ,added with stylish charm  having bent, are going nanekone(............?).

 

4)    Your valience on seing bangles in hands of your enemy kings withjealousy detaching them, fame dishakalabhagala(............?) to ivory teeth(canine teeth), is making to wear those bangles.

 

5)your order has spread up to sea(sea bed),not only that much,sacking   rathna cruwns of kings,treading,making to roll,,pushing, hass sat on their head top(netthi) only”.

 

5)Till now you have no anykind of  deficiency.But your body brightness losing  water has  become like dried up pond.I don’t know why it is like this.While seing you today my  mind   like water dried up, pond fish  has undergone pity.

9)”Mother, by  strength your blessings who is goddesses(devies), I have no deficiency of anykind  mother! But I found a peculiar dream yesterday night! In that in  pond of golden colour lotuses, moving one swan, in dirty kovali’s(.......?), pond found  one swan which was moving freely with joy.

 

10) after seing such  incidence, my mind on seing godame(........?)  became like a peacock.”Tumulted like a swan  which found rainy season.,Not only that, like   a  separated(virahi)  seing  non flowered creeper  got pained”.

 

11) without telling directly  about bad behaviour of wife, told it by giving dream form.on hearing that there was tumult to chandramathi. By that she was expecting bad only. By cheating  anywhere,at anytime, at end  has good happened?s

 

12) He concealed and prevented mistake  done by his beloved. As an effect of that, his mother in future  till seven births, told bad words  causing wicked. If one adds seven will add.these words are true!

 

13)”father  this dream indicates happening of bad only. Therefore it should not be neglected. By your sword flood, cutting tied sheep,if you dedicate, chandika godess  destroying all  amangalas(non good things) , will show kindness also. “like this suggested.

 

14)In mother’s speech  words of  amangala(non good)  destruction came.As it indicates amangala only, he  illused.He”shantham papam shantham apam!”telling like this, closed ears.

 

15)mother! If you want highness ,murder  will not  produce  favour. Is human life permanent?one who is clever  now or after sometime  will give grass and gets destroyed  to a horse which is about to die?””like this  yashodhara consoled his  mother.

 

16)On listening these words mother’s anger came down. But still she with  fascination freeness  came near yashodhara and told like this,as putting prevention (obstruction)to  his further liberation path.

 

17) ”will you refuse our words? Do you don’t know  Guru’s words are uncrossable?Accept my words with honour. Will n ot kings follow words that by religion only peace?tell” yashodhara told.

 

18)” though if considered as religion  with aviveka(lack of power of descrition) if such peace is done  will it be right? If violence is done, in future   with bhethala shape  wicked happens! Later how to remove it?

 

19) Kindness towards jiva is jaina religion. To those who  wish favour to all jivies  how will he get fascination of  violence? Your words are not proper mother! If protecters only hold kane(........?) wjo will prevent?” mother told again.

 

20)”but  at least  starch(hittu) hen should be sacrificed.,child!If you cross this to that devi(godess) I will offer myself . At least by this only  without solving  this sin which has come today ,son!

 

21) When this much was told,  yashodhara could not   refuse words of mother.He due to fascination on mother, gave acceptance to her words. Mind became enquiry oriented. Asrava is produced due to  count of mind only” To me which kind of sin occurs!

 

22)If mothers words are not followd I have to face mother’s death.If done, it will disturb my liberation(sadgathi). What shall I do ! like this yshodhara’s mind, without  seing front and back swinged. At last king held path of ignorance only.

 

23) He and chanramathi on day of Bhoumastami  before mahanavami by many kinds of worships came to perorm worship of chandidevi.

 

24) to give sacrifice  a hen was constructed  out of starch(hittu). It’s special beauty attracted one  pishacha(devil,ghost). It joined inside that hen.At correct time  as chandramathi blessed son loudly, king killed that hen.

 

25)Immedeately, tht starch(hittina) hen  shouted kokkoko. Forth coming difficulties only,  as though calling   like this it was that cry. As though not leaving   that cut head  body of hen  jumped to little distance.

 

26) As soon as hit by sword happened ,on listening cry of hen, sword in king’s hand rolled and fell down.As though somebody is cutting himself ,as though snake moving on body of  coward he wondered.

 

27)”Ayyo! Why did I tell it as dream? Why my mother made me to give sacrifice? This artificial hen why did it cry now?  Fate’s play to happen like this, who will know?

 

28) Amrithamathi named sinner  maye itself became  garden.s mother chandramathi’s  words only  became effective as net.violence itself became  amazing arrow. Deer called athma(self) became sacrificed to it.

 

29) King’s mind underwent  pity and pained.Starting from there he went to ouse. There also excitement did not come down. He thinking why this burden of state ruling,,leaving it, undertook decision of leaving.

 

30) keeping family relatives and pradhanas submitting state ruling to his son yashomathi, determined to go to penance.At that time only amrithamathi came as though death has come.

 

31)Deva(god), I will also come with you to penance garden. Will fragrance  exist without flower?But before going  tiday you and godess mother in lawShould come to palace  and should take meals and go”compelled like this.

 

32) Though Yashodhara had no mind, accepted some howAlong with his mother  came to palace of Amrithamathi. There himself and his mother  poisonous laddu (sweet) which she served  tasted and ate.

 

33) Immitating words of king keyd and stood   stood in mind of amrithamathi. But outside showing style  on that day that sinner  crossing honour killed her husband only. What a wondering  is female’s behaviour! It is not possible to remove  stunt  attitude(mental make up)!

 

34) To yashodhara  there taken meals  became stimulation to death. Not only that  to birth creeper  sinful works done by him,resulted as seed. He died there    vindhya and took birth  in stomach   of  female peacock and came

 

35)Taking birth like this, egg broke becoming kid that jiva. It was not having energy even to move forward. Tender feathers had not appeared yet.strength to legs had not come.It did not open eye also properly.s When it was in this stage a hunter came like yama’s messenger attacked that forest  for hunting.

 

36) as soon as he came, chased(made to run away) mother which was with kid.He did not leave kid. He caught brought and gave  to hand of wife and rear. She  kept it in nest and started to protect. Gradually on growth  natural body brightness appeared to it.

 

37)With due course  that peacock grew like rain bow  kid kept in navarathna cage, lifting it’s feather, started to dance around. It’s beauty defeated it’s  whole world.

 

38) Died chandramathi  coming inkarahata(...........?) as hunting dog  took birth. This dog and peacock   they brought it separately and gave to king as gift.slike this mother and child  reached palace only.

 

39) They came in a situation  in which they were fearing to them ,to them only fearing condition  happened now. Those who were eating their remains(left outs) Saliva(enjalu,remains)  now they had to eat as  dog and peacock.King see fruit of sin!

 

40) Once  in amrithamathi’s bed room  peacock was playing.There mavutha(elephant rider and care taker)  astavanka  came. Amrithamathi  as usual  submitted to his union(samagama). On seing this , peacock with anger of past birth pecked eyes of Astavanka.s

 

41)”Ayyo I died!”telling like this that  kulate(prostitute) rushing towards peacock, on hiting it  with moon object  a pacche medal  rolls down,  fell from upstairs  and died.

 

42) at the same time yashomathi  who was in excitement  playing nettha(........?)”take !” like this kept dice. Grasping that  king will ask to catch peacock, dog caught falling peacock.

 

43) skilled dance doing  peacock  dog ate..fot this intolerable anger came to king. He hit head of the dog with  nettha board(wood). It’s head broke and opened. It  also died .

 

44) When dog and peacock died,on seing it, to king  sorrow happened which was equal to sorrow when fsther and mother die.Though I does know will not guts(intestines) know?Fascination of many births will not leaving  without producing sorrow.

 

45) Dead dog took birth in  Vindhya mountain  as snake. Peacock also  took birth there only  as thorn pig(mullu  handi).This thorn pig, with increased enemity  killed and ate snake.Ox weaves grass rope like this only.

 

46) Thorn pig  swallowd  snake. Tiger caught it.cat catches crane like this only. One who produces sorrow  to others ,fate will call near him.This is natural.

 

47)Thorn Pig(mullu handi) took birth as fish in  simpa river in ujjayini.one which was snake,in the same river  getting birth as crocodile, was growing.

 

48) one day as though river winked eye,  that fish rised up suddenly. On seing it crocodile  rushed towards it.Then yashomathi’s jester(fun maker)  short(dwarf) who was there,  was caught by crocodile. King made to pull it out through  netters(net players).

 

 49) By many kinds of peculiar violence that crocodile was to be killed. Crocodile which died like this, in holageri of same town  joined womb(uterus) of a goat.,growing there only, got down to earth in goat form.

 

50)On another day,thorn pig taking birth as   fish,when net was thrown it was caught by it. On seing it king, that  red fish itself is high for shraddha(ceremony), cooked it as food  from one side.

 

51) For jiva shraddha (shraddha while living), keeping it in water,,baking, it’s jiva was rising downing . those great people who came for shraddha  taking meals stomachful, were taking utthara aposhana(post aposhana). Then that fish remembered it’s  matter(ttopic).

 

52)”myself getting fish birth  am dieing. These Brahmins and yashodhara be happy in heaven!” like this  they are  shouting! This king also has  believing their words.Ayyo fate!”

 

53) by memory of past birth only  you l telling ike this  within yourself, lost jiva. Chandramathi was born as goat in past only. That fish took birth as male goat(hotha,he-goat) in uterus of that goat and grew. Wneh there was sufficient youth ,  this he-goat became prideful with lust(kama).

 

54)To mother also it was time of heat(bede). Prideful he-goat  rised to that only.”prideful  bull  climbed mother”like this this incidence! Then another he-goat came  killed by piercing it. Dead this goat  joined mothers  womb(pregnancy) only.

 

55)s\ It was growing there as he goat(hotha,lip?) womb slowly filled  and grew. Mother goat was moving slowly.Yashomathi had gone for hunting. He did not get single animal there. As flesh was needed, ,which came in front pregnant goat only  shooted arrow and killed.

 

56) As though taking birth through  yoni(vagina) is not suitable, that tender he goat(hotha,male goat), through wound which was due to touch (hit)of arrow, fell down. It’s mother’s jiva(life,prana) also went off. To king kindness was produced  on goat’s kid. He gave it to  madara to protect it.

 

57)To Yashomamathi desire of hunting became intensive again. He told harake(bali,sacrifice) to mari and went forward. He came across a deer there. Later he killed   onehe bufelo. He gave sacrifice  village mari.s That only gave to mahalaya(great temple).

 

58) But  that flesh became spoiled  and insects were born. Therefore to dry it up ,it was  spread in sun light.Dogs and cows came  touched and spoiled  purity. Purohitha informed method of purifying.

 

59)”if dog touch  defect is produced  while digesting flesh  if goat’s rajassu is put  it will become purified.Like this it is in veda clearly”.King on listening these words, believed it.therefor  made to bring well grown hotha(he goat) only.

 

60)By that flesh was purified.(killed it). Eating purified flesh Brahmins ate and became purified.When they rised and moved,”did yashodhara and chandramathi are they enjoying heavenly joy?” like this

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yashomathi questioned.Thay  announced  “oho!oho!”.

 

61)  Brahmin’s that announcement to memory of yashodhara  was like inviting(avahane).That goat’s kid “Ayyo! Myself is yashodhara’s jiva. Yashomathi is my son”.  

 

62) I have born here as hotha(he goat,billy goat). Whe n I am like this  how to eat in heaven? Stomach filled Brahmins tell(chat) as they like. Those  who tell  by killing hotha(billy goat)  that hotha has joined heaven  what not they will tell?

 

63) This city is My Ujjayini. This is  upstair’s bhavalagara(white house).This residence house of  Amrithamathi. She put poison to me. I died here only.

 

64)s Is she indulged still in astavanka? How is she ,I am not knowing.!”like this he was counting.As though to his difficulties horn has appeared,this thought also came to him.Trouble increased.

 

65) On this side due to hit of arrow of yashomathi, died. Goat got he -bufello’s( kona)  body. It became under control of one merchant.One day he on it’s back  burdening u  unbearable weight, brought and later removed burden  and allowd it  on bank.

 

66) To that thirst became intensive. Drinking water in simpa river which was near only, drank water   and there only  it half drowned in water and slept. Tired he -buffalo  was  appearing as though katte(stage) of nilachala  to sea.

 

67)King’s lovely dog also came there only to drink water.this he-bufellow  piercing with both horns  killed only. This resulted in ashwa-mahisha(horse –he buffalo) njustice.This news reached king.

 

68) kona’s(he buffalo) war curiosity is  death to plant.like this  king made all merchant’s camp  to disperse. Made tto bring that kona(he-buffalo). He killed it in a peculiar way.

 

69) To it’s hind anf front legs  made dasi(.........?) to fix. Finally with it’s help  swinging upside down,  from below  holding flame of lamp to shoulder region of  kona(he-buffalo) only that much part was burnt. From there fat was  oozing out.Such fat filled flesh only  was removed from there.

 

70) From it’s backside,,from front mouth, mixing musterd,pepper,salt was pushed inside. Later it was  baked by  one kind of burn(flame). Concealing this baked flesh  sent to Amrithamathi,yashomathi

 

71) Some how it died.went. On tasting it’s flesh Amrithamathi  came to kitchen  house  tied hotha(billy goat), used for eating. While it was cut and killed, her maid servents  were talking about her among themselves.

 

72) From her body pus and blood are pouring. Body is completely spoiled. Still she has not stopped thid dog intellect. This bad smelling woman  to carry  yama also hesitated it seems.

 

73) Like  Manmatha was beautigul(handsome),her husband. Her mother in law was like  amritha. Both of them did not like her. Killed both of them. Her sin also  will not  swallow  her! This sinner should die by filling of insects  omly she will not die as waste.s

 

74)To her who has contact with leprosy patient(lepper) leprosy is attached. To this disease flesh and liquors are poisonous son has told many times. Butshe is not leaving those. To her very m uch durghata(..........?)  hell only  is likable.

 

75) all these talks that tender hotha(billy goat) listened.It ,who was his wife  who had joined jaara(womaniser) kind  found. These two kinds of darkness covering , baked with pain,s that hotha lost it’s prana. As it’s half part was cut, had eaten flesh by removing, It did not die only.s

 

76) Undergoing fearful killing both that he buffalo(kona) and  hotha(billy goat), gave up their births. Both of them  in that city’s  outskirts  holageri’s  madara’s house    hen’s womb(uterus) took birth. On seing growth of  both of these ,he found it suitable to dedicate(submit) to king.

 

77) He   submitted  matured both chicks ( hen kids) to yashomathi.He on seing them,giving them to chandakarma  asked to rear.  

 

78) Cock(roaster)  got  kesaras(hairs around neck) like loyus. Like a valiant to it’s  shout kurpu(.........?) was produced.like a renunciater it’s kottu(beak,kokku?) shined. Like radha  knot became curved(bent) at height. It appeared beautiful  good pakshas(wings?). joining pet  became beautiful like good thing.

 

79) to Maridattha who was msking mind forward in violence only, Abhayaruchi kumara  telling proper  topic. Brought him to dharma path. Such mangalakara(good doing) story listening with much joy,tto bhavyaprabhu meet mangala wealth play shines.

CHAPTER 4(FOURTH INCARNATION)(FOURTH AVATHARA):

 

1)    As kama and rathi  come to see extrardinaryness of garden together,Once yashomathi and his wife kusumavathi  came to garden together.Under golden umbrella which was shining at height  with joy he came.

 

2)    Then vasantha season(spring) also came.Buds of flowers themsekves becoming sword in hands,,sining of Cuckoo itself as  speech fun, mango buds red itself becoming lamp,when king comes  correcting garden  gardener(garden maintainer) vasantha(spring) came.

 

3)    On back only(behind him)  mala marutha(hill air)  appeared as nattuva(one who tells natthvanga  un dance). Jumping of buds, shake of tender creepers, beats of waves of  clear lake,beautiful view of trees and creepers, by these  he made mind of king fun.

 

4)    In every pillar(pole) of garden, white umbrella was seen clearly. On seing it, as though  ages(.........?) of  moon system are fixed here andthere, was heartful.like drops tickling (withering)rom clouds of rainy season, in each branch of tree, big big midies were shining.

 

5)    In places where leaves are withered,in eyes and eyes,at the place of leaves  jasmine creeper broke nodes. Same node becoming sharp  nanekone (...........?) went.Later bud appeared  itself started to blossom. These new flowers  to kid bees, to south air became lovable(lovely).

 

6)    To prince called mango, kama  made to tie  to throne. Then hombale fan(chamara) blowd. As lifted white umbrella moon shined. Dancing peacock only  became throne.

 

7)    There highlasses  beauty of cutting flowers itself is beautiful. Their end  eyes  joined jasmine with kedages. To padari their  selluguru(nail)  united with champaka.

 

8)Few lotus faced  lasses were playing water game If seen truely,  applied sandal too breasts, kumkuma to curley hairs, picture decoration  put to cheek-these due to various colours , was appearing as though  rangoli has been drawn on water.

 

9)Like vidyadhari  who goes to  open sky rising, there one rised  artificial mountain there. Then she  to kameshwara’s palace    like hand doll of manmatha, was appearing beautifully.

 

10)Another one  wearing white  cloth in bud chappara(roof) was shining by playing swing. Then in lotus rathna mantap  as though keeping balachandra(child moon)  in cradle,swining  beauty was spilling.

 

11) Yashomathi also swinged with  kusumavali  in lake.Inj buded  white mango tree  played swing(uyyale). With love played okuli(colour water). Later at one place sat in play group(archestra).

 

12) Chandavarma  as routine wandering, came towards that garden.To him there ,at the base of one tree,  he saw  akampanas sitting . Then to him felt as though blind has seen kopparige(bid vessel).

 

13) hre concentrating mind, had made to stand between two eye brows. In that mind had made air to stand(held air). In that air made to stand all senses. He putting padmasana(lotus position), had indulged in athma(self) contemplation  that yogi.

 

14)Though he was not knowing  what is honour  chandavarma bent hi head  himself by himself in front of him.After seing treasure bud of lamp bends towards that side.Is it not! By the time  Chandakarma did namaskarams  that muni opened eyes! On seing who bent his head blessed.Chanfakarma started to talk.

 

15)”God,huttha(snake house) and  naked are not empty”tells. For that reason  you like owl sitting in one place,with firm  eyes without shaking even a little, sitting  in mind remembering something!What is that?”

 

16)To Akampana  muni  came to k now that he is  asannabhavya  though Avadhijnana. Therefore he without any change, I was remembering athma(self)”told. Chandakarma put question again.

 

17) “where  is  athma? Whatn is sign(mark) of athma?””all those who are b ody wearers  in  allparts(organs) athma has occupied. Soil,water, air and fire, named four kinds of five great elements(panchabhuthas),apart from these four elements, he is different from body.s athma,His chaithanya is  unlimited(Aparmitha).

 

18)Your words are not acceptable sir. I enquired few to see athma. Killed many animals and saw.In all situations  I have found  body and not athma.

 

19) To see where athma is hidden, cutting body of one jivi(life)  I cut into small pieces,powdering bones, peeling skin, separating all intestines what is got,,examining all inside,I saw.s I did not see it anywhere. If athma is there where did he go?

 

20)sPushing one thief in hagevu(a big container,grain store house),pouring lime above applying, later I opened and saw. There is no athma inside. But body did not go anywhere.Did  land swallowd that athma?

 

21)Another thief I kept in balanced and weighed. Later he was murdered by pressing  nose and mouth. Later when his body was weighed, body weight did not come down.When it so there is no separate part. Only body will be there.

 

22)After listeningto words of Chandakarma whobis thalara(thalavara), guru started to speak. His serious tone, fearing  animal called ignorance which was in ditch(kandaka),making to run  like sound of Dundhubhi  sounded.

 

23)”take a stick  and cut. Chap off,slit, What ever done no fire will come out of it. When rubbed only fire is produced from  it.Like that jiva is different. It is kn own by viveka   kriye(process), it will be found that  it is different from body.

 

24) While in Hagevu(a big container)  if cone(shankha) is blowd, though there is no split in hagevu will it(sound) not come out? That sound is different from  cone (shankha) only.In the same way  athma is present different(separate) from brahma.

 

25)Filling up air in pump, thoufh weighd and seen,,though weighed afterbremoving air from it, in weight there will be no difference.,air is different,pump (thidi)is different.This is sure. In same way  body is different jiva is different , think and see like this well,son!

 

26)Next what is form(svarupa) of brahma do you know?He has  no beginning and end.,destructionless chinmaya(conscious ful). He does not belong to any region.  He is upadeya (.....?) everywhere. When liberated from  from liberation  he becomes god(paramathna).

 

27)In stone no gold,in milk no ghee to sa like this is not correct.They are there.In same way why nto say there is no athma in body?If a blind can’t see anything  can we say that things are no there.One who can differentiate this difference he will come to know there athma(self).

 

28)sAthma is one who does all. Enjoyer of all what he has done is himself only.Though swings on sin ocean,or joining in punya(good deed) ocean ,to cross ocean of  births  is possible by athma only.

 

29)Then if you ask how is paramathma, he at end(charama) wearing body,later he will not wear body. He is equal to all world.without parts,,eternal, without undergoing any sin,ananthajnana(infinet knowledge,omniscient) anantha  darshana(infinet vision), Anantha soukhya(infinet bliss or happiness) he has.

 

30) That god himself is paramathma  to whom kevalajnana is eye.  sHis words are agama,kindness upon jivies(jivadaya) is  religion, this feel  standing  belief  well   is calledsamyakthva.

 

31) one who desires upper world  should not kill(murder),should not tell lie(false), should not mind on other’s wives(females),should never steal, should not desire  what is not possible(which does not happen).

 

32)These are first Anuvrathas(small vows). One who does not pollte them(follows properly) and behaves joys of this and other worlds without any rise and fall  will experience. If one pollutes them(disobeys) them, in many births and biths becomes  partner in sorrow(undergoes sorrow).

 

33) preparing a hen artificially   who killed it yashodhara  and  chandramathi ,

After these two died, taking many births, once again as nest hens have taken birth.Before this getting many  animal births have tired very much.

 

34)A vow called non violence(ahimsa)  as this kind of ill treatment  happened  to them this condition came.If there is break in other four vows what will happen?If a valiant comes with four part army what he will not do?

 

35) Therfore otners sholould be considered as own. Animal violence should not be done. Kindness is source of  Dharma(religion). Child!listen with peace of mind. It produces favour to  bhava of three worlds.”

 

36) On listening to advice given by guru  to both hens  past birth memories started.Getting happiness in mind, undertook this vow(vratha).

 

37) Tears joy produced to them  rolled down as  rain drops. Then clouds called dharmanuraga  as though thundered  wings of those two hens  produced sound. And with over joy  sounded(kaledavu?.....). This shout fell to ear of king.

 

38) he showd his svaraveda(shabhavedi) education  to his queen. Made mind to shine.Devi(godess)see!!” telling like this, he used one arrow.Tha arrow killed both hens at once,as though their longevity was same.

 

39)both hens got Samadhi death(trance death). Dieing like this both of them in uterus of kusumavali ,as though  replica of that couples love(as though moulded,pressed) took birth as twins.

 

40)by name of abhayaruchi and abhayamathi  like this yashodhara and chandramathi  took birth.These children having good features  started to grow in a natural eay.

 

41) beautiful hairs black brightness,white of body liked by eye, in that male and female children, shining like eyes of rajyalakshmi(dstate lakshmi), they were growing.

 

42)one day yashomathi went for hunting. There was one penancier  sitting sat distance in forest. After seing him he did not get even a single animal for hunting. Thibking that  to this hunt fun  troublesome are these savannas(jainamunies),he got angry.

 

43) with anger king allowd his five hundred   dogs  at once chu. He did not got disturbed. Then hewas firm like Meru dogs losing their all boldness, wandere here and there as  forest deers.

 

44) In front bof muni,when dogs lost their stiffness, king got much more irritated. Woith anger he became forward to cut  with sword.Then Kalyanamithra who was with him, smooth merchant,

 

45)”Simply you took out(sacked out) sword! One who does not from doing sinful  Work,,such friend bis not at all a friend! Therefore I should prevent you.otherwise hundreds of wicked things  will trouble  you in future” told like this.

 

46)”king ,the hands which are to be used for doing namaskarams you are using for  cutting  hands.He is hand mirror of three worlds,lord of ability,residence of virtues(good charecters).With them this work is not suitable.Keep you sword on that side.

 

47)coming for worship of lotus feet of  those rushies,,coming and seing them, ,nearing ‘to weak as support king is there ‘like this requesting with him, is duty.But you angrying upo him.?Are you mad?

 

48) Do you know who is? Lord(thilakapraya)  to three worlds ,clean to amritha ocean  called samyakjnana he is full moon.Godsmhumans,serpents(uragas), do namaskarams.They have got more good charecters (sadgunas) than others.

 

49)”You have to excuse mistake which I have done without my knowledgetelling like this shold do namaskarams to  his(their) feet”like this merchant informed.Then king he is of which caste,,who he is  excetra without knowing, taking bath,,drowning in water  bad smelled, ball  shall I bend?”questioned like this.

 

50)Apart from this “As i found  bad smelled person,  I did not get even a single animal in hunting.!”like this damned(dhikkarisu).”lord,if punya statue is seen  sin will not come and join! Therefore only you did not get hunt”like this kalyanamithra  consoled.

 

51)”body is always dirty for all. Athma only is clean. If crow takes bath  will feel clean?All those who take bath will  all become  pure? Though hhundreds o rituals  are done will dirt(amedhya,stool) become  kumkum?think!

 

52) He was emperor of ganga kula(ganga family). He was king of kalinga country. When it is confirmed that this family is useless (themeless) he went to penance. His name is Sudatthacharya.”.

 

53)On telling this much mind of yashomathi changed. He dedicating pradakshina namaskarams to that muni (thapaswi,penancier), for ill work which he had done   decided to worship his lotus feet with his head  lotus.

 

54)All about king Sudatthacharya came to know  by his avadhijnana(clairvoyance knowledge).”don’t don’t” like this when he prevented king wondered.”why so like that?” questioned like this.he told about died  grand father grand mothers  conditions started to describe.

 

55) “your  grandfather yashougha king  as valiant penancier(thapaswi)  performed vows(vrathas). Fter death  he in heaven  better  divine lasses   smile’s grace  to black naidiles  as moon has become god.

 

56)Amrithamathi becoming mad of astavanka  her mother in law chandramathi  husband yashodhara  gave poison and killed. Later she reducing(degenerating) gradually   suffered from leprosy(kusta disease). After death  she drowning in  in fifth hell called dhumaprabha is suffering.

 

57) Your father yashodhara  killing starch(hittu) hen ,after death peacock,thorn pig,fish,goat,hotha(billy goat),hen  like this  getting births and births  has become Abhayaruchi.

 

58)That chandramathi queen, respectively as dog,snake,crocodile, goat,kona(he buffalo), hente (cock?) took birth.. as she heard guru’s words  has taken birth as Abhayamathi.

 

59)abhayaruchi who was born to you  and kusumavali ,abhayamathi  named two  twin children know all previous bith well.Ask them only. You will have faith.

 

60) the cruel work  which you killed, matter you only know. By your violence shock(Aghatha) fish,crocodile,goat,billy goat(hotha,he- goat), kona(he-buffalo), in these births even died also know.

 

61)Where is cry of hens? Listening that  note(sound) done arrow  usages?Fter death of those hens  on getting human birth. By  this  what a condition dharma will provide   is directly proved?”

 

62) On listening these words of munies,,enquring this matter by children also, yashomathi who came to know properly y determined killin(sankalpa vadha) obly this much  difficulties came. If muder is done b y hands what not will happen.?” he thought.

 

63) myself how many animals are there,killing all of them  continuously,have eaten them. But still life is not satisfied. To me what kind of hell  is  awaiting?fate!”

 

64) After coming of this thought, yashomathi did not go to even palace also. Giving state ruling to son Abhayaruchi  he took jaina deeksha(initiation,consecration).

 

65) Kalyanamithra also took deeksha. Then”as king so citizen” to make these words bnlessed, many kings decided to take deeksha.

 

66) Not to prevent father to go to job of penance Abhayaruchi  accepted to rule the state. Later he gave state ruling to his brother and went to penance with his sister.

 

67) From dark of ignorance  coming out, joining in good behaviour under control  joined desciples group of Sudatthacharya. Got mastery(expertship) in thathvas(principles).

 

68) myself is that abhayaruchi kumara. Fameful Abhayamathi isshe. By various kinds of karmas we have become like this. Maridatth what is there to be to be  listened  by  you?

 

69)today as per order of guru we were coming to bhiksha. Then they have caught and brought us. There is no meaning in fearing for that. But when your wickeds are counted   kindness(pity )is produced about you. Even fear is also produced.

 

70) bydetermined violence only, I experienced  these sorrows of births and births. You worrylessly going on killing  this much of jivies(lives)! Is there liberation from hell to you?”

 

71) These words told by abhayaruchi  like giving  fearlessness  announcing drum to  all jiva communities .It told seriously. Maridattha  underwent excitement  was in much wonder.

 

72) At the same time chandamari godess appeared. She thanking to Abhayaruchi, showd he himself is acharya. She gave instructions (indications)  so as to be heard by all people in jathra.

 

73)”Citizens listen, you in future water,sandal,garland,rice,incense(dhupa),lamp,charu thanbula(pan), by these only you should worship. If anybody does animal sacrifice I will ,get angry upon you”.

 

74) announcing  this much, Chandamari disappeared. Then Maridattha king, released bondage of all animals. To all anf his sister’s children, joy producing  Abhayaruchi and Abhayamathi  he loved(pampered).

 

75)From eyes of king, without gap  tears were flowing. To solve got ashubha(non good)  to do mangala bath  tears bath happened. His nephew and niece  as though he can hide in he embraced  them deeply .Hot breath was emitting.

 

76)  due to sins done  up till then, he hesitated.Therefore now he tieing throne of king  to  son kusumadattha, took deeksha(initiation).

 

77) For few vtime  he indulged  in  severe penance. Lsater getting Samadhi death, in third heaven ,like blaming kali,s became god only.

 

78)later Abhayaruchi and Abhayamathi  were in group of desciples of Sudattha(acharya). There behaved according to scripture words.  Both of them indulging in penance,,performing viws, when body was died took bith in eshanakalpa.

 

79)once again Sudatthacharya  had come there for  dharma(religion) movement.Then yashodhara came to know about better fate(condition)  to his people. Worshiped lotus feet of guru.

 

80) In place of my  maternal uncle(mava), there was no name of jivadaya(kindness in jivies).To them also divine condition happened.To my brothers  and  sisters also  such grandeur  happened.When so what will not happen by dharma?”like this gave mind to Dharma.

 

81) In jinamatha divine  garden making  donation creeper to grow, poring dayarasa(kindness juice) , made it to creep on roof(chappara) of world.. In that new fame  blossomed as flower.

 

82) Yashodhara  becoming sajjana chudamani(chudamani of good people), by his punya  getting brightness thousand times  that of his father  Yashougha, in Ujjayini was  ruling happily.

 

83)Silver,silver hill(kailasa),star(moon),cone(shankha),pearl garland,snow,milk river, hara’ds laugh, like cloud of sharath season(end of rainy season,or winter),like these clean(pure) yashodhara kavithilaka.

 

84)Who were liked by Yashougha  Yashodhsara and chandramathi, killing starch(hittu) bhen, became peacock and dog. Later became  thorn  pig and serpent.later as fish and crocodiles, later becoming hotha(billy goat) and goat,later as hotha and kona(he-buffalo), got birth. Later took birth as two hens.As they had heard words of penancier sudatthacharya, this son and mother took birth as twins.

 

85) To Msridattha who was indulging in violence only, Abhayaruchi kumara,telling about  matters of punya brought them to path of dharma(religion).Such mangalakara(good doing)  story,listening with much joy, to bhavyaprabhu meet, mangalakara treasure play  shines.

 

86)Sri giridurgamalla  king’s state  for better progress, Shukla year(samvathsara) ashwini Krishna panchami  pushya star  Thursday  this work  got good prestigious  condition.Highness of renunciation(thyaga) and enjoyment(bhoga), poet Bhalalochana  shined

 

87)High jinandra shasana(religion) named  year,let   this poetry  called cuckoo’s tone spread!Asahaya shura( valiant without help of others who can win)(ballala) let success happen to his arm!state lord  janardhana feva (janna),in  lotus face  alwats let saraswathi reside like fragrance!
