KABBIGARA KAVAM:

1)Whose beauty  defeat all those who see him,whose flower arrow  by it’s strength  is bending head of valients, whose bright success  getting developed  residing standing  in all eight directions, Such kama king  to my skilled words  bless brightness.

 

2)Lakshmipathi Mahadeva, and brahma- red lotus feet of these three  us who are like kid bees, by their high fragrance  protect.

 

3) as bsase to honour,,as mother house (thavaru)to beauty, as border to greatness, as residence to truth,as house of knowledge,extraordinarily, as residence to fame, always residing in  mind of clevers, who gets appreciation, Such saraswathi  with love  for development of highness of poetry.

 

4) Extrardinary skill of karnaparya, Ranna’s ojas(vitality),Gajaga’s charm(style),Aggala’s vision power, success of janna, let be present in this poetry(poem) forever.

 

5)acceptable  shining vakrokthies(curved words,bent words), speech highness which nis fine and tasteful like milk,words design, so as to reside,corrected by many people , to anybody, like new pearl’s Ekavali, will it be ornament to neck?

 

6) Meamingfullness,poetry features, poetry beauty, adding together  so as to become beautiful;Thirulu(theme,kernel),features, and brightness  added wi these  rathna like  will it not be beautiful?

 

7) One who is skilled, good words bof kannada let him previously see and know. In rathna mirror, to one who sees himself, will there be any defect?

 

8) beautiful poem only poets can  like and not others.gama gama fragrance in flower  only bees can understand  and not mites.

 

9) high among scholars Andaiah, except Arhantha  to any other  even in dream will not bend. Apart from scholatrship he will not  like any other thing. Even by forgetfulness also has not done  other wives(females) friendship.

 

10) his sons santha,Gommata, and fameful vaijana  were high in scholarship. Very clvers in talking with knowledgeable persons. High in beauty and treasure.Who give honour to elders and live.s Will not be angry upon those who are angry. Like this they were living so as to be liked by people.

 

 Tree,11) As though he is only first among three, to honourablesantha, to beautiful Ballavve, as son  high scholar Andaiah took birth.

 

12)(when he was child) clothes worn by lasses(youths)   became his cloth; Their shining face became mirror. Like this Andaiah grew.

13) Arhantha’s delicate feet  as were  residing in his mind, Lakshmi will be always with him.What is wonder in this.

 

14)like flock of parrot kids,like coming bees group,like bunch of red tender buds, like glance(kataksha) of  lasses seing fixing, like  brightfully showing  moon light beauty, kam’s poetry(poem) will not make to defeat anybody’s mind?

 

15) Without mixing beautiful Sanskrit(samskrutha)  to tell poetry beautifully in kannada,previous big  poets were not able to tell. Ability  to  to tell finely  just like talking  he has got completely. Not to others.

 

16) Those who knew like this as they have told by themselves, in order to fulfil their desires, in pure kannada bandha by grace of kabbigara kava   I told.

 

17) as progress to decoration(beauty),so as to fill beauty, as vakrothies(bent words,curved words) spilling so as to meatch  words of highness,as knowledgeable persons like, b eautifully,with brightness, as thogh moon light beauty has spread to eight directions, will tell liking valience of kama.Vachana||how it means,(how kannada land was means) In each place  blossomed lotuses in ponds  attacking fragrances  humming female bees, Following those bees,  moving  in garden (forest) beautiful  lasses  words and behaviour so as to  blame keeping slowly  flocks of female swans,

 

 In vastly spread field  growing fastly sugar cane sticks, To them flowing as  long neck , tender coco nut  river, To crop filled  lands  birds attacking enthusiastically, chasing them making to run non scholar beaties,defeated by beauty of those lasses  standing tourists(travellers), by batches of beautiful  appearing prominently to eye,,as though loving(pampering) towns of  heaven world   upstairs rised to sky, mango trees which are residence  talking parrots group,,in their branches singing cuckoos,-having these kind of beauty,

 

18)Even adishesha also can’t describe  that land.When it is so,mere humans ho can they describe.having one like this  meaningful  kannada named that kannada,by slow air,,by lakes with blossomed  flowers,,by ponds,,by small villages, b y lands was beautiful.

 

19)In that country which are villages, which are towns, which are flock of clouds  standing bent towards below(down),,which is forest, which is famous garden, is difficult to know and tell.

 

20)Jasmine,champaka, pomegranate, beautiful red coconut,mango, areca-apart from these, other plants and trees  are not there in that land.

 

21)monkeys rising up trees, pulling strongly  and throwing, tender coconuts suddenly getting broken, continuously leaking tender coconut water, standing ass pit, were protecting gardens there.

 

22) In severely burning sun light, forgetting us, without making to worry, protected channel it is,like this as though  falling to feet  crop bunches paddy crops  shined everywhere.

 

23)lotus getting angry in lakes  struggling there like them only, through water birds srinkled drops  wet air  is slowly blowing.Vachana|| In that land  keer(...?) is horse’s iron. Cover is chappara(roof), bandhi means one ornament.ey(...?) is Is matter of upstairs.  Madi is  maruga’s alavala,mo....) is relation of  nentas.pode is in grown land,ka......?)is in  cow watchers(gopi ?),Pidi is female elephant.Apart from this meaning, usage of these words  was not in usage. To these words poet vivakshitha(.........?)  other meanings are keer= low,  cover=abduct,eju= wound,more=crying, pode=hit,kal=kalanka(defect), pidi=hold, bandhana.

(few defects in this poem meaning).

24)s creeper non creaped,garden without pond, lotusless pond,  Fruit giving mango tree without male cuckoos,channelless river, beesless flowers, pond without swans, loveless prostitutes, fameless humans, there are not anywhere.

 

25)Lotus ,jasmine, new sevanthige, blossomed champaka,-by these’s sweet fragrance through  flower holalu(.........?) is name was shiningful to that btown..

 

26)Shining upstair foam, surrounding golden fort bankand high inside residences are  hills.like this that town  is beautiful like sea.

 

27) surrounding  creepers group;  having  twinkling  tender buds,roofs(chappara)  having new flowers jasmine creeper mantap’s beauty  that town’s  garden was beautiful.vachana|| And contibeously  wandering near clouds, tired vidyadhara lasses  water stores(aravattiges) as though  shining  carrying tender coconuts, rised to sky red coconuts trees,,cracking(splitting) due to  blowing air,,oozing  by new fruits bunches  making shining tender branches as residence coming speaking  to tender parrot [arrots  flocks mother house(thavaru)  bushes of Immavu(mango tree)bees kids attacking with love  attracting  to fragrance abundance,residence hombales bending areca trees lines,slowly beautiful ,carefully, swinging  naughty monkies, iften hanging up to ground  as bunches bunches  fruit giving  small branches ,by beautiful pomegranates, coming coming in mid day only  playing okuli(colour water),  added with lasses body’s kumkum  haing red lotus flowers  beautiful,  by lotus lakes, that garden was  residence to vasantha(spring).apart fron that

 

28)humming bees, joyful   uniting swans,talking parrots, singing sweetly to ear cuckoos,-all these  sweet sound  produces sorrow to sepersted ones.

 

29)s wher where there are bitter buds where  fickle smooth leaves are there,where where there are  matured buds,where where there are blossoming  pets petals buds, where where there are beautiful flowers, where there are beautiful nuts, where there are fruit bunches, there there  that garden makes anybody mad.

 

30)coming in clear water lakes,lifting droplets, added with new new fragrances, mixing in new sweet  jhenkara of bees, being caught in  bunches ofred buds, attracting sweat of  mixing lovers, there air blows slowly.Vachana|| Like this attracting mind of lookers strongly, surrounding  garden   inside beautiful golden fort,

 

31) from flower garlands falling from knot,absorbing their cool  fragrance,

 Sounding in groups groups  female bees, with jhanathkara of  leg rings(bangles), coming from all sides  females,,by royal females  who barev residence of skills, by valients listening  praising of appreciaters(hogalu bhatas, vandi mahadhas), that royal street was beautiful to eye.

 

32) Sorrounding their ghama ghama fragrance breath  on showing  fragrance of new flowers,beautiful faces  emitting brightness of pure lotus,long figure nails  forming line of  kedage’s small feathers, there  high garland maker  lift beautiful Basigas and show.Vachana|| By group of flower sellers  who are added with beauty, by side of beautiful prostitute lane(slum),

 

36) highs,archestra makers,famous vitas(womanisers),archestra makers,scholars,famous poets, educateds, strong people, high letthagaras(......?),chaduranga karas,veena players, to all these greatness,happiness, as providing base, prostitutes lanes are shining.

 

37) Keep rathna ornaments  given by varunadeva.Today wear  kalabatthu saree given by sri Vishnu,wear flower sent by moon, these words are only heard on  prostitutes lane(red light area) everywhere.Vachana|| and that town  shining beautifully , gold works done, in upstairs  in wonderful  loves(.......?) coming  sounding with joy, by sounds of pegions, lifted by flower sellers  getting mad of  garland flower fragrance,covering, humming bees kids, sweet sound, by bambling and own  gold mass,horse, big elephants, chariot all these  groups donating in flocks flocks, in front of prince, reading and getting prizes , due to noise of scholars, knowing time of  durbar, going coming to palace  lasses, great samanthas,make up people,coming near only  bantas(servents), matched in their shields  beautifully, by tones small leg chains,,going out to drink water,  standing throw  red dust, smelling smell of earth,getting intoxicated,moving to different directions,   without condisering  mavuthas(elephant riders and care takers),  standing at distance,  seing words  coming intoxicated elephants  leg chains Indra’s town (Amaravathi) is getting celebration of treasure.

 

38)After he became king,  all earth(people on earth) are living well. Like this  all people appreciating  day and night  Naneyamba is protecting that  city continuously.

 

39) so as spread his fame through out the world,, on making to fear  valients who are famous for  valience, protecting those who have surrendered to truthfulness, work of renunciation  cooling  poor with joy,so that  fit people  liking describing, naneyamba got(wore) earth burden  on his right shoulder(arm).

 

40)  His words were  residence  to truth. Became mirror youth progress to hand highness gave place to elders. Beauty became famous. Valience became residence of  intensive patience. Inthis  way all people of that country  were liking and appreciating frequently  Naneyamba.

 

41) Enemies who  who fall upon and touch  makes them to defeat by  valience through arrows.In town’s streets females those who come in front  by his flower arrows  his beauty makes to defeat.

 

42)As soon as they come in front  as though seing mirrors , kings children  become quiet.When it is so, who will survive  those who hold sword in front of him?

 

43) After  valiant Naneyamba’s  lifting up white umbrella  other king’s  unbrellas  grown in groups mushrooms(nayikodes) became white umbrellas. How shall i admire it?Pa|| though he has shining like  lotus is not Vishnu, though has valience like thunderbolt  is not called sun. Like hand of bowman(billugara),though has adopted  stitching  arrows  is mot malegara(garland holder?......)Though has  heals which  are  clean like  Brahmins street,  is not called  chariot. Though has shine like sky is not called sea. Though has donating hand like  like mango tree  is not called intoxicated elephant. Having this kind of fame  he was ruling for many days.

 

44) To service of king of this land, with joy, coming to submit as though  stammering words of singing  cuckoo  as was coming near seperateds(virahies), for troubling vasantha(spring) season came.

 

45) As seperateds got tired with fear,,as heat of body of sun rised,,as winter had run off quickly ,ponds getting dried up,,mud also dried up,as bees came towards flowers, madhavi creeper wearing plenty of flowers,  lotuses appearing, time of progress of vasantha(spring)  came.South air blowd. Vachana||and that air  born  on sides of small hill,neem,gobbali,trees fragranceful like that, making in sandal mountain, taking birth, by walk of naughty monkies, flower pollen(pushpa paraga)  withered there, getting applied,in hill kibbies(........?) grown  ashoka trees, making house, singing continuously  female cuckoos tines  emitting stammering speech, contineouly  i sea shore , as there was extraordinary of Hombale(........?) In dense erected standing  in areca lines playing game standing in outskirt of city, their beloveds who had gone to other places, remembering objecting, by beauties long breayhs  getting youth, having beauty, moving new lasses  entering inside of narrowness of  lasses circular breasts,,there shaking neck of big pearls, grown by vside of paddy madies, having fragrance of red kanagile, flowing river channels  drinking  droplets –like this doing  mischieves of fickle womaniser(vita), while blowing-

 

46) this south air called kama’s elephant, is coming freely. Therefore  separated  you quickly go from here,go like this announcing telling drum  beat(dangura), as though  having plenty of  buds and midies(nuts),  present in  mango tree, cuckoos were  sounding intensively.

 

47) Catching  loving loves  troubling highs(proudhes), I will stop  construcyed by vasantha  many creepers bindings(chains) as though, in one plce flowered Padaries, attacking in lines lines bees, attract mind.

 

48) extraordinary fragrance of these, with desire of getting  themselves,  blowing air without touching, as though have stood as guard, group of  bee  kids, closely has  gathered madhumalathi  attacking.

 

49) Without thinking king who came to house  of enemy , as later king goes off,   like this bee  coming near champaka bud , later it escaped. On seing that jasmine laughed!

 

50) Though  In a well erected branch  continuously blossomed flower’s bunch Were filled  by champaka to bee’s  violence happebed.

 

51)As soon as legs touched pouring drops of nector(makaranda) champaka flowers  singing in soft tone female bees  as though catching strongly  were there.

 

52)Biting  kone(........?) sounding cuckoos ,as though servents of archestra ,flock of parrots  like  beggars batchs , emitting new fragrance  like fragrance of kasthuri  singing bees like singers, were there. Fruit given mango trees  were like durbar of Kamaraja were there.

 

53) Big branch which absorbed  buds,buds,flower bunches,nuts having in plenty gujjugombu,,budsflower bunches, nuts,matired fruits, got thin horn, methodically  were in mangotree(Immavu).

 

54) In jasmine bee is humming. Fragrant air  is blowing from south,In newly buded mango trees, cuckoos are singing in high tone.like this vasantha  season came.Beloved without coming yet, prevented like this tender youth lass  poured tears.Vachana|| Entering a garden  grown around  golden upstairs, another beauty  regarding her hidden beloved, told like this  with  vyaja(fraudless).

 

 

55)Hey cool air, why do you trouble me? Hey bee kid, why do you bite grass?cuckoo,why are you anger? When my beloved is not with me near  why should you painVachana|| On listening this word her sorrowful  friend  going near her beloved, slowly told like this.

 

56) to buded jasmine,to blowing air, to bees singing in flocks and flocks, to coming  swans,to coolflowers pond,to speaking birds, to sounding krouncha birds, added with small small nuts, mango tree she fears. Why this anger in her? Now what is done is it not enough?At another place-

58) Hey blowing air, falling to feet with love,,consoling without delay, if you bring your  my beloved,always wirh fragrance of my breath, will protect you well .Vachana|| In vasantha season(spring) which came like this, once Naneyamba  his close friend jester  asked to come. Then all his make up(decoration) servents   knowing his mind, as they went in groups and groups from near him, calling friend near, listen to my mind ,told like this.

 

59) As though attracting  shining  moon light,,from shining body light, attracting my eyes, to morning I found  when there two moments earlier.

Vachana|| And starting from her smooth feet, slowly rised up, her long eyes ,seing bending of her thin waist, could rise above hip(nithamba).

 

63)s In  her very deep navel(umbilicus), drowned mind, lift me up and remove  like this  as though lifted hand, eyes attached to baase(......?), caught in her thrivali(.......?) could not go forward. In her hard  round breasts, eyes caught in  crevices(narrow place) in pit collapsed fallen deer started to vibrate(shake).,in beautiful new lotuses  attacking with desire, bees kids started to come out. On her forehead  like moon, coming as creeper creeper  caught in hairs  eyes, like deer  caught in  could not keep steps. Apart from this-

65)Shining pearls ole(ear ornaments) by white brightness, extraordinarily, she shined like big wave of milk sea. Like statue of moon light,,like a beautiful marble doll, beautifully her coming I saw in dream”. Vachana|| In this way,  as heard by Manmatha(flower arrowd), slowly jester(fun maker) told like this.

70) as bunches bunches  red ashoka buds,fragranceful flowers,,mango nut, new hombale(two leaflets around first flower of banana andareca),,maruga, fine banana fruit, well filled  naidile and  lotuses buds white sugar cane pomegranate fruits  a gardener gave.Vachana|| giving gift like that, spoke like this”other country kind, defeated by you ,due to depression , like his reduced body brightness, by right thumb  seing jaaji, blossomed as though laughing surahonnes, with challenge stood against  opposite kings, applied new blood shining like your sword, shining with blood pallavas (buds),,by shining ashokas,,burning by your anger fire, enemies residence,mflower left around, by thorn mutthuga trees, your feets uniquely(ananya) b elieved ,palaces by beautiful golden palaces , having gardener, having kosagi trees,carrying your  beauty without mixing with you, like cheeks of lasses, flower filled whitened,bakulas residence of fun  garden you should see.On telling like this  giving him likes -

74) glances (katakshas) passing flashing buds, as beautiful teeth giving  giving moon light, as red feet spreading  red lotus flowers,s,eye brow giving beauty to sugar cane stick, arms with stretched  tender horns, competiting,heeks with excess  smoothness  resembling mirror, many beauties  came there with charm(style).

 

75) three threads garland itself is shining pearl mass,breasrs themselves are hills, thrivalies are waves,,when it became  like sea of joy  young lasses  with shining  ingroup  came.

 

76) Due to heaviness of dense(congested) breasts,,thin waist  mind of those who see shaking, few stylish lasses kept steps together with enthusiasm.

 

77) like jhenkara tone of  new bow , kama who is about to use arrow, to all eight leg chain sound  spread. Then beauties walked and came. 79) After soft touch of that air, sweat and tirednesss were removed noise prathiharies increasing, naneyamba  entered garden with joy.Vachana|| entering like that  pacches,kanagile’s, padari’s,  jacj fruits, coco nut’s areca’s  attack  davana’s,marugas,jasmine’s, mango’s,Madala’s,uragi’s,,surahonne’s,Iravanthi’s, sevanthi’s, fragrance spilling,  in between  champaka plants lines, while Naneyamba was walking, giving hand on right side,coming jester told like this-

 

80) Having flower bunches, jasmine flower’s sandy, thrown by horns, mango tree fameful upstairs,,constructed  play hills(krida shailas), kedage surrounding new houses,,pacche’s paakaara(compound,enclosure), having this shining, manmatha (flower arrowd)’s became equal  this garden.

 

81) knowing your arrival  with joy lifting flag before only, tied, added with touch of new flower, standing erected, as though by bud  lifting up and sowing  sign, jasmine shines.

83) filled tasteful  fruits splitting,withering from them, everywhere  in masses  seeds  got extrardinariness  many pomegranate trees  were shining like rathna shops.

 

64) Due to excess brightness of  twinkling flowers  having filled lotus leaves, spread like  kanchugara’s(metal workers)  shop  here appear by sides.

 

85) Beautifully with  soft slow walk  including swan birds creeper mango lines  By charm of famous prostitutes  mind attracting  like redlight area(sulegeri,prostitutes area) are present in this garden.

 

86) densely bossomed  flowers  shining  very high  shining hill lotuses, beauty –as new residence of  neauty  as though  manmatha residing  upstairs .

 

87) Due to weight of  buds and flowers  bending head more, by tender branches  shining well, these champaka trees, appear to make to bend those who does not bend.

 

88)s high sevanthika’ hiuses broadly  there are many sphaticas(alums)  flat stones are there. They like gadduges (stages) aeeanged for you only, are appearing in front. Vachana|| this garden is like town   first  what  is told Gradually making true walking that and this side,  upto few Vanthara (ghosts...s.?) contineuing-

 

89) kasukaada(cascade(natural arrangement of  natural or artificial waterfalls......?) buds residence smooth  buds nother house(thavaru),,red leaves house, bush of ripened buds,smiling buds big house place of  bud,

 

90) Ubder mango tree as though forest godess  one shined. Sininging bees her  her hairs, chakravaka birds her swollen giant breasts, naidile’s her eyes, red leaves her hands  were defeating.Vachana|| at once seing all those in front of him,naneyamba  thought in his mind like this.

 

91) Shining very much this beauty  produced wonder to his eyes.”on earth who is she? When well grown  white  lotus’s   stems were worn,wearing flower ornaments, appears like yogini. Her honourable close friends(sakhies) bringing above above, applied sandal’s  cool kalka(.......?) when filled  she finding in  in hasthidantha (elephant’s tooth), is like constructed doll. Along with shore(bank) crossing  coconut’s tender cocont  entering boundless   vclear water  ponds  when lotus  green leaves are kept on body,smooth colour of tender bamboo, having  jalakanya(water lass)  she is present.
