‘Upadesha saara’ of sri bhagavan ramana maharshi:

1)    Eshwara himself is karma(work,deed) fruit(result) giver.

It is real corresponding fruits(results) are given  to their  works(karmas,deeds).but those fruits are  given according to decision(determination) of   god’s order.if there were no president of works(karmadhyaksha)  there would not have been  fruits to karmas(works).god,eshwara,paramathma(universal self) ,brahma,atheendriya (…………………..?)principle-all these are sameby will of eshwara  suitable rewards to  karmas(works).

 

2)here karma means  karma with desire(action with desire,kaamyakarma).those works which are done with  desires only are  only desires.desire,desire desire.action done with desires  is cause of falling in great ocean of karmas.fruits of  desireful works are  temporal(non permanent)and obstucle to  progress of path of liberation.

 

3)karmas done with intention of dedication to eshwara,if not done with desire,such karma leads to chitthashuddhi(purity of mind).sthrough that that karma  becomes means of liberation

 

4)worship,chanting, meditations  are works(transactions) of  body speech and  mind.one is higher than the other in order.  (corespondingly,systematically,gradually,ascendingly).

 

5)to serve world  with feeling(intellect) of eshwara is worship of  god  of eight statues.(astamurthy).eight statues of god include earth,water,light,air,sky,sun,,moon and individuals(lives,jeevas)

 

6)rather than better recital of stanzas(sthothras),,than loud and slow(soundless) CHANTING ,CHANTING DONE BY CHANTING  AND MEDITATION  DONE THROUGH  MIND  IS BETTER.LOID CHANTING IS CALLED VYKHARI,SLOW   CHANTING IS

UPAMSHU .(LOQ TONED)

 

7)EQUAL TO FALL (FLOW) OF  MELTED LIQUID FORM GHEE,LIKE FLOOD OF RIVERS ,SIMPLE AND  NATURAL MEDITATION IS HIGHER THAN  INTERUPTED MEDITATION.

 

 

8) RATHER THAN MEDITATION DONE WITH DUAL  INTELLECT (DIFFERENTIATIVE INTLECT THAT  MYSELF AND GOD ARE DIFFERENT,FEELING THAT MYSELF IS GOD, MEDITATION   IS HOLY.IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD.(SOHAM BHaAVENA PUJAYETH)(ABHeDA DHYAANA).

 

9) BY STRENGTH OF FEELING OF SOHAM(I AM HE) in good feel (sadbhava)of feelingless  ,to reside  is pure consciousness is devotion  only.

 

10) in paramartha (transcendental)  heart, mind geting melted and standing is  real  karma ,devotion, yogas it should be known.

 

11) by opposing(obstructing)  prana ,like a bird caught in  net, mind gets melted in athma(self). Therefore pranayama  is a means of controling mind.to melt mind in self  temporarily is called ‘amanaska yoga’.

 

12) spirit is source of  mind and prana.mind and air means  mind and prana.

Mind and airs have consciousness andand action(kfrfiyfa).spirit is source of

 Mind(chittha) and air(prana).

13)Mind laya(merging,partial destruction) and total destruction of mind both are means of controling mind.mind which is merged(or partially destroyed)  rises again.if mind is destroyed totally  no question of rising again.mind should be melted in self.

 

14)by control of breath  mind gets merged in self (athma) only.if athma is meditated upon  by pure concentrated mind then mind will get destroyed.

 

15)to high yogi who has destroyed  his mind  and having his own  natural state,no

Duties of any kind.no  rituals and performances.(anustanas).a high ypgi has no duties .

 

16)after destroying all  dvaitha world  totally, that mind shows spiritual form   of self only.this itself is thathva darshana,paramartha darshana,,truth darshan.

 

17)if reaserch is done  what is mind,there is no mind at all.this is called amanaska yoga. This itself is  royal path of athma jnana(self knowledge).this only is direct path.if enquired properly  there is nothing like mind only.s

 

18)ego is source of  all mental thoughts(vritthies).if aham thought is got all thoughts(vritthies) are got.to be true  ,thought means  mind only.there will be no mind if aham  vrutthi is destroyed.

 

19)from where this ego(aham) vrutthi(thought)  c0mes ?if searched(enquired)  there will be  no ego that aham  thought (vritthi) will be  be vanished.

 

20)if ego thought melts in  self,as soon as destroyed,self becoming self(athma) light form(svayamjyothi svarupa) enlightens by   myself myself (‘I’ ‘I’)form.

 

21)called by word ‘myself’(aham) this athma thathva called heart though aham(ego) vritthi(thought)  merges,always,,without being destroyed by itself,shines by  form of existance..athma(self,brahma) is not(never) destroyed.

 

22)body,senses,,prana,,intellect, and ignorance is not athma.because these are jada(nonmooving,non living) and false.then who am i?only one sath form.i am not body excetra but  sath(athma)

 

23)consciousness(spirit,chaithanya) is enlighting existance.apart from spirit(chaithanya) there is no other consciousness.consciousness exists in form of  sadrupa(athma,existance).i exist by that conscious form.s

 

24)when dresses of upadhi are left and seenone’s real form darshan will occuresha darshana means self realisation only.

 

26)to rmain in self  as self itself is self realisation(sfvaathma darshana)as athma(self) is  non second(advitheeya) self sincirity (athmaniste) is  natural and easy.by self realisation one should become self sincere(athmanista).

 

27)consciousness without  knowledge(jnana) or ignorance(ajnana) is  real  knowledge.apart from this there is no second thing to be known.is there ant other thing to be known?

 

28)on enquiring about  self form ,after self realisation  destructionless,birthless, complete only conscious form joy(bliss) remains.

 

29)great person who knows he himself is  brahma,in this life only  gets natural brahma bliss(brahmananda)  liberation.

 

 

30)without relation of aham prathyaya to know himself as athma is real great penance.there is no penance higher than  athma knowledge(self realisation).one should become athma sincere by going beyond  aham prathyaya.

hrudaya kuhara madhye kevalam brahma maathram

Hyahamaham ithi saakshaath athmarupena bhaathi|

Hrudi visha  manasaa  svam  chinvatha majjatha vaa

Pavanachalanarodhada  athmanisto bhavathvam

 

inside of ‘heart cave’ brahma  onlt is shining.it is  showing(expressing) in athma form.(self fprm).is is realised as ‘myself’ ‘myself’( I am I am).by mind searching  ‘I’

,in itself (in source of thought of’ I’) entering deeply,through pranayama you entering heart  become athmanista(athma sinciere).
