MANOBODHA (MIND TEACHING) TRANSLATED TO ENGLISH BY DR RAVEENDRA HOSADURGA

                                                             

 

            ‘MANOBODHA’ (MANACHE SHLOKAS) WRITTEN IN MARATI  BY SRI SAMARTHA RAMADASA SWAMYJI  SIMPLE KANNADA TRANSLATION   BY SRI SADGURU GANAPATHA RAO MAHARAJ,KANNURA. CHAPTER  1:ETHICS TEACHINGS(shloka 1 to 21):

 

1)     Success(Yasha)-sri-jnana excetras  lord of all charecters, first expression

(manifestation) of  Ganesha and   Cause of pashyanthi excetra  4 vanies(speeches) Sharada devi , doing namaskarams   shall  move in devotional path of  Srirama.

 

 

2)     Hey good mind,you should go by devotional path only, .then naturally god will be got. For thst you should give away  what is considered as low. What bis considered  as worshipable  should be done with interest.

 

 

3) daily morning do meditation of rama.Afterwards also  should recite  rama’s name mainly by speech. Apart from that good behavior only is high.  It should not be left.  One who behaves like this only becomes blessed among  humans.

 

 

4) Hey mind, bad desire is not work. You don’t do sin matters for ever! Mind, you should not leave ethics. Father let there be  high topic in mind.

 

 

5) Mind concept os sin, good desire  should be worn firmly. In the same way  imagination of matters(sense objects)  should be left. Because due to enquiry  In  people there may be chipat(scold,blame).

 

 

6)mind, sorrow giving anger,kama which has many vikaras(changes),desire of money, strong jealousy, dambha(show off) don’t grasp these things.

 

 

7)O mind, Getting good boldness inside, be bearing  others low talks.you always  by speaking polite words  make all people happy.

 

8)Gentle mind, though body goes  which retain fame hold such  behavior.Tearing(save) like sandal  make mind of sadhus.

 

 

9)Mind, Don’t desire for others money.  Excess selfishness is also not good. Because by that there will sins collection.Karma  fruit of that bad work wou will have to suffer(experience).Together by  greed and selfishness   your desires without getting fulfilled, there will be much sorrow and fear.

 

10) Keeping continuous  love in rama  sorrow should be left in yourself by yourself.Thinking  sorrows got by pratabdha ,thinking as happiness ,by enquiry  should become samarasa  in athma svarupa(form).

 

 

11)Mind,In humans who is always happy?You only enquire and see. You will come to know that nobody is happy!Mind,As you had accumulated harmas only, now enjoyment of sorrws and joys.Remember this.

 

 

12)Mind, Don’t bring sorrow in you.don’t  cry and worry.But by enquiry leaving ego(ahamkara) that I am body ,egolessly  without body feel  experience joy of liberation.

 

 

13)Mind,Tell what happened to condition (fate) of Ravana who was very strong? All his state excetras drowned(destroyed)!Therefore leave intensive  low  kama desire quicklyand don’t forget that  time(yama) will chase back all.Don’t forget this.

 

14)To jiva birth hasVery big people also went through death path only. Like this it is impossible to coint number of people  who have taken birth died.  come according to his past karmas.  But what if,at end he succumbs to death!

 

 

15)O mind,This is deathful world(marthhya loka)It is true?Though like this all people in their short span of life’naa-naa’! All of them think themselves as chiranjeevies  only! But suddenly leave all and go off!!

 

 

16)If one dies another cries. That another also dies at once in future!Like this to cry for others  and to die by himself  it has run continuously.true. In world all desires will never be fulfilled. Not only that much,it will rise up and burn  when there is chance.So you will have to take rebirth again.

 

 

17)Man simply worries in mind.but what is to happen it will happen surely!All your sorrows and joys are produced  due to  past karmas.

 

 

18)mind, Except Rama don’t desire for anything.  And you don’t do  apprecisation of humans.Because to describe paramathma  what veda-scriptures-epics(puranas) are praising  poaramathma only is suitable!

 

 

19)Mind, Don’t leave truth for ever.  Never propound (prathipadisu)false. Truth is always truth. And false(myth) is always false.Therefore hold truth and leave false from your words.

 

 

20)Mind, what shall I say about pain suffered  while in mother’s womb?dont don’t it is fearful!Inuterus as upside down  baking to that tender child there is intolerable sorrow(pain).

 

 

21)good charactered mind, remembering pitiable sorrow of   uterus residence-to take birth -to go to deathworld -cause Vasana(desire,memory)  and desire of kama and kanchana(money)  you leave!make me darshan of rama!

 

 

 

2)TEACHINGS REGARDING DEVOTION:

 

22)Hey good mind,fixing Srirama in heart, achieve your favour.lord of Hanumantha,lord of three worlds  rama prabhu  is developer of all.

 

 

23)Ramchandra’s memory(remembrance),-keerthana except don’t speak any other thing.There is no use in talking with people  meaninglessly(uselessly)!Time is  abducting your longevity every moment  at the time of death  among them who will come to release you see?

 

 

24)Mind,Leaving Ramachandra simply why do you get tired?Like ignorant people simply why do you talk(galahu…….?)?Let Ramanama reside on your tongue always. And sinful ego(aham) let not show her face to you!

 

 

25) O mind, don’t be bored by my teaching words. If you don’t listen  can rama be got at any time? As soon as joy goes there sorrow behind.At end all will get destroyed and nothing will remaim.

 

 

26)mind, Though how ever much you try to to protect body ,time(death) at end carries away! When it is so,  leaving that plan, do devotion of our Ramachandra.By that remove worry of birth and death.

 

 

27)

Mind  like a coward why are you anxious about worry of birth and death!get boldness and remove fear.when there is Ramachndra like lord is there for your protection,he will nevere leave your hands.

 

 

28)hey mind,on seing Ramachandra who isaring bow, yama will shake in chest!Know this firm statement as true.  Rama who is abhimani of his servents   will never leave hands of own people.

 

 

29)at feet of Ramachandra always  birudu(award) is getting announced. Apart from that , towards head of enemities of devotees,his bow will be doing tamkara.carrying all Ayodhya residents to  parandhama (liberation) in aeroplane,  Abhimani of servents  Rama will never leave hands of his people.

 

 

30)Who is there in world who sees  omnipotent (sarvashaktha)srirama lord’s devotees with curves(bent) vision? That means nobody is there.

Dasabhimani(abhimani of devotees) rama will never hands of his people.

 

 

31)who liberated gods from Ravana’s arrest  who ere in fear and sorrow, all high in valience  and ability,meditated by Shiva Parvathi  such dasabhimani  rama  will never leave his own people.

 

 

32) Ramachandra uplifted  Ahalya who was fallen as stone.  Merely by touch of Raghava she became divine form(divyarupa)!Impossible even to be described  even by vedas  dasabhimani rama  will never hands of his people.

 

 

33)Meru-mandara excetra mountains,Suns-moons,stars group, clouds series, who has created all these  by mere playand who made his   two servents(devotees)  Hanumantha and Vibhishana as chiranjivies ,devotee abhimani  rama  will never leave hands of his people.

 

 

34)In nature of Rama there will no  negligence for ever. But ignorents people will have no faith!In githa  ,epics  and smruthies excetras , who has given words’I will carry (look after) yoga kshema  of devotees” dasabhimani rama  will never leave hands of his own people!

 

 

35)In whom there is such feeling ,od also lives in him in the same way.  Srirama will protect his devotees .No doubt in this. That dasabhimani will never leave hands. Of his people.

 

 

36)Though god is living near his devotee only with kindness he will be examining devotee a little. Complete joy liberation giver dasabhimani Sritrama  will never leave his people!

 

 

37) As sun solves sorrow of chakravaka bird,,rama lord at the time of trouble of  devotees  comes down and destroys sorrows. Eshwara devotion  sorrow destroying  stick appears and is shining! Totally dasabhimani(prideful of dasa or devotees)  rama will never leave

Hands of his people.

 

 

38)Mind,A ptrayer to you,you be order wearer (ajnadharaka) of that rama.Don’t neglect  this fact for ever! Good mind  Live rama form(svarupa).

 

 

39)Sadhu mind,,whom vada,-scriptures-18 epics  describe  and by whom consolation is reflected,,for such Srirama  leave all your worries.Live in him only.

 

 

40)Good mind,in place where all joy is got with love have to give attention(Lakshya). When it is so by enquiry  leaving low imaginations  live in Rama form(svarupa).

 

 

41)good mind,by over wandering no joy. By that you will only get tired and no favour is got. Therefore by teaching to mind(anthahkarana), live in Ramasvarupa.

 

 

42)Good charactered mind,  By all ways  in this theme(saara bhutha) only  keep attention.-make Rama prabhu as yours. Thinking as Ramachandra as protecter of poor(humble) , when his  footwear(kalthoddige?)  is announcing award  live in rama.

 

 

43)O good mind,you hold one talk tightly.  Inm world make your favour,and to achieve self favour (svahitha) except  ramachandra’s name and character singing (praise) excetras, don’t speak other words.! Let there be same contemplation in you always.

 

 

44)Mind,in mind present like dumb ,do rama Keerthana  with sincirity

(indilgence) . Apart from that for true happiness, leave house where there is no rama devotion and go to forest!

 

 

45) breaking your peace  and in friendship of bad people  who are attached to ego(ahamkara) what is the use? By facts of loukika people mind leaves Rama only.

 

 

46)Mind, Except Rama chinthana ,even if you spend one moment, you are doing loss to you.know. Because except Ramachandra  all remaining are tiredness only.  One who is clever among people only, gives attention

(Lakshya) and listens.

 

 

47) In mind,in eyes, seing god only, among people  one who is jnani devotee, and wearing love(prema) in saguna (gformful), who is practicing sadhana(achievement,practice) method  sch devotee is blessed.

 

 

48)always tearing by in  devotion work only,,always doing rama nama smararane by speech, and behaving with high svadharma (self religion) such rama devotee is  blessed in world.

 

49) always following(behaving)  what is told, seing only one god in all, and without even little doubt, doing saguna bhajans(worship)  devotee is  blessed in this world.

 

 

50) One who has no mischief of kama(lust) inside, desireless,who is practicing  shamadamas excetras ,follows brahmacharya(celibacy),who is peaceful in mind,who has no not even a little thamo character,  such rama devotee  is blessed in world!

 

 

51)pride-jealousy,who has left selfish intellect, who is without family troubles,  and always speaking sweet soft words, Rama devotee is blessed in this world!

 

52)thinking of parathathva(supreme principles),spending time in story telling,  not touched by dambhika(show off,)  argument, and doing discussion with love about source  thing(mula vasthu,god,parabrahma) rama devotee is blessed in this world!

 

 

53)Always polite(obedient),popular(loved by people) , who always supports truth, enquiring person,who will never tell tell lies  by thrikaranas  for ever, such Rama devotee is blessed in this world!

 

 

54)at the time of  force  of longevity only  without getting caught in imagination net, doing lonely life and firm decision in mind,that unbroken Rama devotee,is blessed in world!

 

 

55)One who has bad desire in mind,but in mind having intensive  esha love thirst,  and by his outstanding devotion  who makes ggod only as debter(runi) ,such rama devotee is   blessed in world!

 

 

56)one who shows kindness on poors, delicate minded,ho is friendly,kindful, mauntainer of those who are gfaithful,angerless, rama devotee is blessed in this world!

 

 

57) in this world by famous ramanama ,karma-devotion worship(upasana) ,by routine rules(regulations), should become blessed.  Got by karma excetras  dualless(nirdvandva)  condition only is all high.By that mind remains liberated at all times.

 

 

58) due to previous sin only  desire in gross things resides ,leave such kind of Vishaya vasane(sense objects desires)! Without having even little imagination,  always without desires  meditate rama!

 

 

59)Mind, imagining imaginations ,if walked they becoming innumerable   grow and by that  you will never meet Rama! Through desires  to one who has no rama inside  will not get devotion!

 

 

60)Mind,kalpavriksha-kamadhenu,luck treasure,chimthamani Rama who is all these, what shall I describe?  By whom all abilities run, to such Rama lord who is equal?

 

 

 61)Standing under kalpavrikasha ,if sorrow is felt, to him always sorrow only happens!Like that  by going near  sathpurushas(good people),if prepared for argument,  for ever you will have to take part in sorrow.

 

 

62)to that  arguer  anusandhana(contemplation)  getting cut ,in mind worrow and depressions will reside! By difference (bheda) intellect  happiness and joys get drowned ,due to that condolences(vishada)

  His decisions will fly and go off!

 

 

63)Without listening to  devotional  advice(teachings) of jnanies ,if argument is started,,when there is Kamadhenu in house, it is like giving butter milk to it!when there is all high chinthamani is in hand,  it is like thinking it as glass bead!!

 

 

64)On seing condition of devotionless  worldly interested people,to extraordinary dullard(fool,ignorant)  intellect  will not be firm.To one who is ubder control of kama in mind there will be no Rama. To outstanding greedy(lobhi)  sorrow is unavoidable and to extraordinary  sense objects interested  always  humbleness(dinathe) will not leave!s

 

 

65)mind,devotionless,low humble life is not acceptable. To such fool(ignorant) , at all time sorrow doubles!for that sake  with respect to  house,gold,excetra sense objects joy  without  keeping desire  in rama wear mindful(willful)  love.

 

 

66)sSadhu mind, This family is useless (themeless,summryless),. Examine and find this.  By eating poison is there any happiness? Leave desire of family  meditate upon Rama.

 

 

 

3)GREATNESS(MAHATHME) OF RAMA NAMA:

 

67)clould like blue coloured,beautiful to eye,valient,boundless bright,serious9gambhira)s ,protecter of devotees at the time of difficulties, such Srirama daily at morning time,remember.

 

 

68) Having exceeding ability, in front of Rama prabhu  whjo is wearing bow,  fearful yama also shakes gada gada! Whe it so whst about small human? Throw.Therefore  leaving pride, daily at morning time  be remembering Srirama.

 

 

69)killing fear,giving joy and happiness, lord,with unique(ananya) devotion  to worship is suitable is it not? When like this, by enquiry leaving  pride daily at morning time remember Srirama.ss

 

 

70) Fulfilling desire, spell rama nama always. By daily rule of  namesmarane(name chanting) troubles will get destroyed! When it is so,leaving dry pride -laziness  daily at morning time  be remembering Srirama.

 

71)By whose name pitiable defcts get solved,high post is got,punya collection happens  Such Sri rama should be remembered daily at morning time.

 

 

72)to tell ramanama in mouth money is not needed. And to that there is no labour(strain) also!When like this, to win very fearful  family enemy  Srirma should be remembered daily at morning time.

 

 

73) Punishing body  by penance(thapa) and vows(vrathas)  are very sorrowful. But if nama is taken,present sorrows will go off! Direct shankara himself is doing  Sri rama nama smarane!!when it is so, at morning time daily  be remembering Srirama.

 

74) In other practices(sadhanas)  there will be bvarious kinds of difficulties. Vow(vratha0-donation-udyapane-these are possible by money only! For tha sake without any difficulty  remember srirama who is relative of poor at morning time.

 

 

75) truly among all sadhanas(practiced)  namasmarane (name remembering) is high.If you don’t know this  examina all and see. Simply leaving low doubt  daily morning time  be remembering sritama.

 

 

76)In this world karma, dharma performance, yoga any one of these  will not practice(achieve) properly.s Complete emjoyment is not possible. Complete renunciation is also not possible.such is the the situation.

 For that  what ramadasa says is  leaving habit of karma excetras  have belief  in nama smarane.be remembering Srirama daily.

 

 

77)Desire of Rama will make man is waste labour .is it not? desireless(nishkama).rama’s form  makes him  makes form of all jivas only.If there is firm faith in Keerthana  if srirama’s character singing is done, that love makes that man liberated from duals(svandvas) of joys and sorrows.

 

 

78)See!to low man who does not have  devotion in rama  all will give trouble!without believing liberation giving  lord Srirama , to worry about 

 Body and world  is waste labour.Is it not?

 

 

79)Mind,making to reside holy devotion in you only, throw off family worries.  Truly to all jivas  bondage(nbbandhana)  is mere illusion only ,grasping of that false became useless!

 

 

80)Hold seethapathi  who is heart resident of shankara. Catch and cross   great sea of hard world.cross and go! Though put how ever much  not filled  greed  push away .keep away  and hit jealousy of foolishness.hit!

 

 

81)mind,due to negligence don’t leave  nama(name)! but contemplate (Anusandhana)with  with good love!among all means nama is high. Though any second method is balanced with it,nama will  never become less!!

 

 

82)s any other namas will not come to weight of ramanama(name)!

But to godless  low person  this fact is not known!directly  shankara to poison of halahala  took medicine of Ramanama.  Who will ask poor humans?

 

 

83)Mahadeva who burnt  kama performs rama meditation!and along with  Parvathi  makes his guna gana(character singing)!Shankara who is treasure of jnana(knowledge),-vairagya(dispassion) also there is this much of Shraddha(sincerity,interest)!!

 

 

84)Vittala has worn Mahadeva in head. But in such Mahadeva also Rama’s meditation has resided. Know rama!penance statue  direct shankara only to get peace ,what is doubt that rama will liberate jivas at end?

 

85)Worship rama  who is resting places of high yogis.Shiva -parvathi have kept  ramanama japa only as rule(nema).Apart from that  great penancier(thapasvi)   shankara  himself is  consoling all”Rama will liberate you  at end”!!

 

 

86)If in mouth there Rama nama (name)  there only rest is there. Always be experiencing Paramananda(supreme joy).Except him all are  doubtful tiredness only!It’s source reast place  this nama will destroy sorrow at source!

 

 

87) in whose mouth there is rama nama  to him kama(lust,desire) will not disturb(trouble). By fascinating matters  his boldness  will not come down!summary is rama devotee only has power of destroying kama! In world Such devotee  brahmachari (celibant)  hanumantha  is famous.is it not?

 

 

88)this ramarayas name is better.very beautiful.small,easy, and free ,if nama is taken, it will  pull  out family bondge along with roots! To man this itself is true final  condition(stage)!

 

 

89)at the time of meals  nama should be prounced from speeh.with extraordinary love  prose poetry should be spelled in high tone and by doing rama smarane rice should be eaten.If done like this  naturally you will get rama.

 

 

90)To one who does not  tell Ramanama 

 Big accident(lnjury) happens!He will became low  creature in world!! Let it be. Vyasamuni has described  in veda-scriptures-epics  nama greatness  very well.

 

 

91)without getting bored to matter of Rama,  tell Ramanama  with much love.There is no spending of money.it is available freely. For that do announcement of  seethapathi’s name!

 

92) If nama is roared with devotion,all defects will run away to distant  hills and caves!rama getting happy by his nama recital(telling)  and graces with love!to shankara in mind there is madness of  Rama.

 

 

93)On enquiry ,in world  rama only gives rice(food),,to him only  there is all worry of protection! To tell in mouth  kindful rama’s valuble nama what  knot(gantu,money) you will lose.tell!

 

 

94) shankara  who has anger of burning three worlds only,taking name of Rama  became peaceful! World mother Parvathi,  is chanting nama with love! For that you chant such high Rama nama.

 

 

95)sinful ajamila  due to fascination on  son  though told ‘Nsarayana’,due to that nama telling only got liberation.!Prostitute to teach to parrot though told “rama rama”   by that only became famous in puranas(epics).

 

 

96)  Hari devotee Prahlada taking birth in demon’s family  was always chanting  Ramanama. His angry father was not able to tolerate it! Thsat Hiranyakashyapu  demon in mouth had never spelled rama nama  even by missing!!

 

 

97)To one who has no namechanting(nama smarane) from where is liberation?   Through  ahamkara(ego)  he sinply enjoys sorrow ,at the end  at the time of death, will get kindness producing condition. For that tell deva devesha(god of gods) Rama!

 

 

98) Ramanama makes to cross  even stone surely,,by that many people have got uplifted. It is not a wunder! But in great Ramanama also ,always getting doubt,  those who don’t spell namas  are merely sinners only!

 

 

99)In world there is very punyaful  kashi piligrimage is there. If  we go there there will  be upliftment of our elders.right! But kashi’s adhidaiva

Shiva to jivas”always  from mouth remember(chant) Ramanama” like this is giving favourable advice!

 

100) Easily(sangopanga?)  karmas will also not happen. Happened  karma’s punya  also  will not  fall to fold . In ani,mals there will be no kindness! Therefore at least free namasmarane  can be done.not  doing that also!!

 

 

101)One who does not  accept(do) namasmarane(name remembering,name chanting) yama will injure!Ha! To one who argues with bad feeling(durbhava)   hell is reserved!!Chi chi to him! Realising this fact,with love nama should be taken.  If nama is pronounced (spelt)  defects will move away by themselves.

 

 

4)SAMKIRTHANE  RXCETRA  SAGUNA DEVOTION:

(SHLOKAS  from 102 to 135)

 

102) With natural character  with much politeness  people and specially  sathpurushas(sajjanas)   should be made happy.  And with love doing saguna bhajans  body should be made blessed.

 

 

103)Mind, At the time of kirthana(singing) devotion should be kept in rama. And at the time of nirupana (description)  body ntellect(body sense) should be forgotten.  Apart from this other’s money other’s female(paradravya,parasthree)  should be left willfully.

 

 

104) Without performance  simply  few will tell jnana! But their  sense object desire(Vishaya vasane) only will make  hem shy!!Mind,to man who has high running imagination  how will be esha got?

 

 

105)Mind, you replace bad behavior with good topic9enquiry). And with good love depend upon good behavior.You follow what you speak! Leave imagination  which is cause of worldly sorrows!!

 

106) One who does bath and sandhyavandanas with  exctra daily karmas  with sincerity,one who covers mind  when  displaces from athnasvarupa,who has kindness towards animals,  and one who is  premasheela will get peace by devotional feel.

 

 

107)Mind,In me there should not be  anger and defect.but there should be love in company of santhas. Mind,leave low facts  become eligible to liberation.

 

 

108)Mind,By continuous  company of sajjanas9good people)  behavior getting converted , devotion appears. For that  you by leaving talking   without behavior  cutting all doubts  to do jijnasa(desire to know), conversation is favourable!

 

 

109)Argument should not be done with anybody.  But with them happy conversation can be done! Bcause by such  lovable discussions only,  sorrows will get destroyed.  Summary , cutting all doubts,to do jijnasa conversation is favourable.

 

 

110) To argue myself and yourself  when it gets destroyed only  it is called conversation. By ahamkara(ego) only  argument grows.By viveka ‘myself’ should be won. Totally leaving argument  doing jijnasa conversation is  is favourable!

 

 

111)To achieve self favour  to talk is essential only. For sake of self favour  by enquiring all delicately   refute( to do nirasana)  wicked nsthikathe . In summary ,  to converse to destroy all arguments  is favourable!

 

 

112)Among people though time was spent on telling and hearing only, real topic to be grasped  remained like that only!Making to grow doubts only ,discussions  are always  great dambhika(dogmatic?) only! For that sake  to destroy all arguments  and to converse  regarding jijnasa(desire for knowledge) itself is  favourable!

 

 

113) the so called scholars ,neglevcting their true  welfare(kalyana), due to ahamkara(ego)  became brahmarakshas(brahma demons)!to whom  else such great scholarship will be present?So mind leave  waste ahamkara(ego).

 

 

114) to give advice simply  what expense will be there to whom? But by that day by day ego will increase!actionless talking  sould not be done!!

You only enquire about these true things.

 

 

115)Leaving ahamkara(ego) by   total enquiry(viveka), with sathpurushas(sajjanas) only  conversation of athma favour  should be done who can remove doubts.  Apart from that,  among people  behaving as one talks ,with pure kriya(deeds,actions), should go in devotion path only.

 

 

116)  due to curse of Durvasa rushi  as king ambarisha went under sorrow , Srivishnu himself  enjoyed birth for his sake! To Upamanyu graced  milk sea only. Such devotees kaivari(……?) god  will never neglect his debvotees.

 

 

117)

 While Dhruva chilfd was  praying for  god’s grace s Narayana gave visit to this. To that love mine(khani)  gave place in star system. ! such devotee kaivari(………?)  god  will never neglect devotees  for ever.

 

 

118) Gajendra getting caught in severe fearful disaster, while desiring for relief(liberation), Srihari ran and came for  him! God jumped suddenly  killed crocodile and gave prana  to Gajendra(elephant)! Such devotees kaivari will never neglect his devotees.

121) when  High devotee Prahlada  was under violence,for his sake became Narasimha! To that kenda(burning charcoal) emittinmg  fearful form  ,to come in front  except Prahlada  there was no boldness to anybody!! Such devotees kaivari  god   will neglect devotees!s

 

 

122) when Indra begged  for kindness , for his sake  Vishnu became vamana.  For sake of  protection of brahmins  sharhapani   wore parashurama incarnation. Such devotees kaivari god  will never neglect  his devotees for ever!

 

 

123)When rama was moving in forest at the time of forest living,, uplifted ahalya who had fell as stone.  And releasing  gods who was arrested by Ravana  hit success(jayabheri)! Such devotees kaivari  god will never neglect his devotees!

 

 

124) Srikrishna for sake of protection of honour od Droupadi ,throwinall back  coming speedily .In Kaliyuga  he became silent Buddha! Such devotes kaivari  god will never neglevct his devotees!

 

 

125) Like this god for poor and helpless people  will do incarnation.And he will be getting incarnated as  kalki next!On trying to to describe him vedas got tired! Such devotees kauvari god will never neglect his devotees.

 

126) For sake of people  god will incarnate. With love gets various kinds of forms! People who are not knowing such kindful god are wickeds,lows,sinners.this should be known!

 

 

127)indulging in listening rama’a stry  and getting satisfied with joy  is blessed in this world! By experience of Rama  consciousness of his body  flies pff,delicate Vasana(desire,memory,smell)  of mind will drown in rama svarupa(form)!

 

 

128)Hey mind, Let your desire be in Vasudeva only. Don’t desire for  kama enjoymentds! Hey decent mind, leave useless matter imagination

 And do friends with santhas(sajjanas).

 

 

129) even wicked intellect of  wicked people will also get converted .when it is so  for one’s upliftment  santhas friendship(association) is needed. As kama(lust,desire) is  bad,without giving place (chance) to him   be in nirvikalpa (changeless,non attributed) condition.

 

 

130)Hey mind, without doing sankalpa and vikalpa even a little, ,in mind wear  true matter(Sathya vichara). At least leaving wicked overtalk(badabadike),,in loneliness do bhajan of Rama.

 

 

131) By ’one speech,one bani(?)(behavior)’ss do bhajan of  non dual9advithiya) Ramachandra! By recapitulation of his story only  all people will become blessed! Follow celebration pof such seethapathi(rama).

 

 

132)taling after enquiring, and behaving seing favour and non favour,  from such viveki  those who are baked in three kinds of thapas(pains) will also  become peaceful. For that sake, you without doing full enquiry , don’t talk anything.s let your behavior be  pure and limited!

 

133)dispassioned, completely experienced,s , who made to reside  decision in mind,,such rama devotee’s darshan -by touch  punya is got. And by conversation with him  false doubt will get cleared.

 

 

134) prideless(egoless),disinterested, forgiveness-peaceful,kindful,no money desire, no pain, no humbleness(no dinathe).recognise yogi king with these charecters.

 

 

135)hey mind, which is sathsangathi 9good fact) which can convert  nature of wicked person! By sathsangathi (by dsathsanga) only path of devotion and knowledge . great fearfulm yama himself will get destroyed.

 

5) SEARCH F TRUTH FORM(SVARUPA)-JNANA ADVICE:

 

136) whole world is covered with fear.only  sathyajnana Anantha(truth -knowledge-infinet)s brahma only is fearless. If brahma is known not even little dvaitha is seen. And in mind fear will never remain.

 

 

137) high sadhu santhas   have taught  to jivas in detail and one ,s jivas remained as ignorents only! Their useless  body  oriented (deha buddhi)  works will not get destroyed.  And lost ancient(purathana) treasure will not be got   through  ahamkara!

 

 

138) with illusion  his own money is not got to himself , to jivas  born poverty has come without missing! Their dehathma buddhi( knowledge that body itself is athma)  is not moving away.And lost ancient treasure

Is not got through ahamkara(ego)!

 

 

139)  what ever seen in front is athmaful(athmamaya).  But to bad luck people  this world appears as stone and soil only! By non faithfulness punya will not fall into fold  and lost ancient  treasure will not be got through ahamksara(ego)!

 

 

140) binded by thrigunas, to jivas who are experiencing  sorrows  his lost property only is not got . what is condition of mind. It is not becoming guna rahitha(without charecters). And lost ancient treasure is not got through ahamkara(ego)!

 

 

141)Inm summary what ramadasa tells is  for athma knowledge(self knowledge) surrendering to jnani  his service should be done.s because except Anjana called guru  tou by your ahamkara,will not get ancient treasure!

 

 

142) by practices done by self intellect   paravasthu brahma,rama0 can’t be got,doubts will not get cleared.  Ego(ahamkara) will not go. How ever much tried(adventurous) athma(self) will not be got.s

 

 

143) due to ignorance  man is not able to know  athma.  Due to illusion  lost joy is not got! For sorrow bondage  ignorance and illusions are causes.  Without examining directly what if coin is tied to fold! Who knows it is true or false?

 

 

144) If examined and seen, which is true in world?  There is nothing. You search and see truth with jignasa(desire to know).If seach is done withpout gap,  truth form god is got,ignorance(ajnana0,bayaly(field), illusion  all will get vanished.

 

 

145)  Jiva contineeouslt thinking about sense objects(Vishaya) ,by ego(ahamkara) and ignorance (ajnana) has come to birth! But really he has no birth at all,by viveka should indulge in  his athmasvarupa(athma form).

 

146) what is seen by eye   will not remain permanently. What which has come to shape  suddenlt time  will destroy suddenly! As all things in front will get destroyed ,for this sake mind, search and see eternal(Nithya) complete  thing.

 

 

147) Sadvasthu(brahma,existing thing) will not break.will not move. Will not shake and always resides every where.  But due to ego(ahmkara) it is not known! to single  thing(ekameva vasthu), second is not tolerable!!

 

 

148)trying to describe  formless brahma  which is source to brahma god (four faced brahma also) also  even veda speeches failed! Therefore mind, without trying to grasp brahma by intellect ,with viveka reside as brahma form. like search and see nithya(eternal) complete  thing.

 

 

149)sadvasthu  can’t be seen by eyes(skin eyes). It can be seen  by jnanachakshussu.  But vision all people is wasted in seing  view(Drishya) things only! Mind, you with viveka search complete thing(paripurna thing) and see

 

 

150) Athma form(svarupa) has no colour like yellow-white-black-blue excetra .or neither expressed nor unexpressed. What ramadasa tells is by shraddha9sincirity,interest) only liberation is got.  Hey mind, In this way search  eternal(Nithya) and paripurna(stotal)  thing and see.

 

 

151)shey mind, all are searching truth  since long time.  They teach much about that also! But due to friendship of santhas only  listeninf(shravana)  excetra all happen  and yathartha jnana(as it is knowledge ) is obtained.s

 

 

152) body knowledge,knowledge of principles(thathvas) of world, ,singing,playing instrument, eight parts yoga,yajna, renunciation(thyaga),,not got by these things consolation(peace of mind) is got through santhas.

 

 

154) to bring into vision  delicate moon of bidige(second day) moon  of Shukla fortnight(paksha) we are asked to see branch9twig) of one plant (tree). Then viewer will be able to see moon by leaving branch,,by description of  panchikarana and thathvamasi  great sentences   athma secret will be known.

 

 

155) find out thing which is not seen anywhere. In seen with knowledge vision  properly  secret is ready there only.! Buf tried to catch like jada9inert thing0 it is not got. Though it is filled everywhere(in all) it is not known.

 

 

156)one who tells ‘I know athma’is fool only! Because it is not possible to athma  through intellect. By wearing ahamkara(ego) athma can’t be seen.If athma is observed  as it is, you will not remain separate!!

 

 

157) study of many scriptures is one great forest only! To one moves in it, a fixity(nischaya) is not attained(got)!! But caste(matha) excetras are fighting by opposite  scriptural knowledge.! By yathartha(as it is) experience  knowledge   running of intellect stops  and peace is got.

 

 

158)What does scriptures expansion says.rugveda excetra vedas,purva Mimamsa,,Nyaya-vaisheshika excetra scriptures,18 epics excetras smruthi books, and their skillful  siddhanthas(doctrines)!! Apart from this  when thousand tongued adishesha has sit silent ,mind, how much is your knowledge?  For that leaving all habits  observe athma svarupa.s

 

 

159) to one who has eaten housefly of Ahamkara(ego) from where taste of jnanamrutha (knowledge Amrutha) meals  come?to one for whom ahamkara in mind is  not destroyed,jnanaform rice9food)  will not get digested!

 

 

160)Hey mind, don’t do sorrowful  arguments! Leave thought that’opposite man is different’ which leads to anger!mind, as still ahamkaa is residing in mind,don’t try to teach pothers!

 

 

161)yes,by ahamkara only all sorrows  are produced. And that knowledge spoken from mouth becomes blessed!if you are really happy all will be joyful only. But examine and see that your ahamkara(ego) will no dothat.

 

 

162)even an enquierer also leaving ethics due to ahamkara  behaves.by his nonethical behavior gets honour! Thall all these topics are flashing in his mind,due selfish matters  his viveka will be away!

 

 

163) Man deciding  firmly  that I am body only, ,beyond body feeling  to athma joy will be helpful!therefore now he should convert body intellect into athma intellect and for that he should do daily  service of santhas.

 

 

165)Body-female-sons excetra family worries  in mind Vasana(desire,smell,memory) roots in ,by that will get caught in  birth and death! But rather than that doing athma chinthana(athma thought), mukthi sthri(liberation lass) can  be got(to remain  natural state  without vasanas). For this purpose daily santhas friendship should be done.

 

 

166)As abhimana(pride ) of  body has already grown, from that  there will be fascination towards  wife,childer, close people,friends excetras. But giving sorrow through out life(birth) should be refuted(left,nirasana). Therefore for that sake daily saint’s friendship(coliving) should be done.

 

167) What ramadasa tells is  forgetting doubt only,  firm decision of  permanent thing should be done.ss for that doing friendship of santhas(saints),each moment of longevity  should be made blessed.

 

 

168) With bad desire without becoming low and humble(poor),

  Who makes mind peaceful is  santha.this is to be known.  Worldly man will develop  deha buddhi(imtellect that body itself is athma,dehathma buddhi), to santhas who move in  peaceful athma svarupa  what effect will happen?

 

 

169) About destructionless  infinet thing, santhas should be asked(listened). Grown from ahankara(ego)  false world should be condemned.forgeting body feeling(feeling body itself is athma),non attributed  brahma without charecters  should be thought. 

 

 

170)Lstening to advice of knowledge,should leave dehathma buddhi(the knowledge that body itself is athma).  And by viveka should know athmasvarupa. Mind f practitioner(sadhaka)  will not usually in athmakara.so he should be careful abot nidhidhyasana.

 

 

171) very high  true thing  is latent,in front of eye  inert(jada) world only appears. This illusionless Nirguna(nonm attributed) form   akalane(…….?) will not happen. As jiva though much is imagined  it can’t be known.

 

 

172)originally  imagination form maye is composed by  by two forms.They are vidya and avidya.Runnng of imagination  towards sense objects itself is avidya.  Prathithi of  maye and brahma itself is vidya maye. But due to viveka of jnana  those two kinds of imaginations    merge with athma svarupa(form).

 

 

173) In athma svarupa(form)  ahamkara (ego) form rahu  rises and covers whole chidakasha(conscious sky)! Where ever seen ignorance form  deep dark has occupied.Enquiring true conditon  well with viveka  see.

 

 

174)Nirguna athma can’t be seen  with eye. But if he can’t destroy his family sorrows   by knowledge, nobody can save him!As witness  wearing charecters like kindness excetras  athmadeva , gracing his devotee gives sayujya liberation.

 

 

175) Brahmadeva while  making to take birth  writes forehead writings of all. But who writes on the forehead of brahma?  In the same way shankara at the time of pralaya(total destruction) burns world . At end who will burn shankara?

 

 

176) In universe 12 Adithyas,11rudras, Innumerable Indras  excetra gods are there! But how ever much searched  a god is not got. Who is chief god is not known!

 

 

177)chief god  will not tear,will not break, will not move with humbleness,  will not shake! He is not knowable to vision for ever. To ego(ahambhava) is not seen-there won’t reside!

 

 

6)NECESSITY OF SADGURU_SADGURU FEATURES (SHLOKA 178 TO184)

 

178) Each will do devotion  which he desires. But nobody will  enquire  god’s form! In world there are crores of God. Who has devotion in which god that itself became big!

 

 

179) Nobody enquires about  all high god who is cause of  creation of three worlds! That god of gods is hiding. Without guru his darshan is not possible.

 

180)If gurus are searched ,there are crores of gurus  who teach many kinds  of manthras. But such kamanika guru  who uses chitaki  excetras is useless and he can’t give any liberation!

 

 

181)Not of chitaki vidya not cheating,not abducing(capturing) money,not blaming,non jealousy, not devotionless, not fattened,not under control of  addiction,Not bringing loss  due to fact, all these bad characterless  jnani only can become  great guru!

 

 

182)Mind,Keeping desires in stomach, to speak superficially (outside) to talk is  is not sadguru feature.  That is only actionless  overtalk ! But one who  behaves as he talks  himself is sadguru.Find out this.

 

 

183) jnani devotee,viveka-dispassioned(viraktha),kindful,independent, forgiving, indulged in meditation,efficient,Daksha(samartha), scriptures knower,  and greatly skilled. From guru who has got all these features only peace is got.

 

 

184) Untrue maye is created(formed).s what really does not exist is in front. This fact  came to know  by teachings of sathpurushas only.Mind,after knowing maye like this,athma vasthu(athma thing) which is beyond  speech . It is indescribable.This has to be told by speech only. For that by listening excetra  Sathya jnana Anantha  thing be searching.

 

SECRET OF PRACTICE OF JNANA(SANGATHYAGA)UPASAMHARA:

(SHLOKA 185 to 205):

 

185) In its own form  worryless,fearless  athma(self)  should merge with very much love.  Athma rama is not outside ,me as different,he is always with us in union(Aikyathe).

 

 

186) Sathnaguni mind,rama is near me only without leaving. Kim bsahuna athmarama’s  and your sadoditha meeting yoga will be there.Knowing this truth  ahamkara formed viyoga(separation) leave.

 

 

187) Five great elements form(panchamahabhutha rupa) pinda-brahmandas( body and world) in athma svarupa  don’t know to show face! Therefore mind,  body excetras  apprear in front.Leaving interest in them  should become complete joyful.

 

 

188)By knowledge sword,cutting off illusion of body, should go jn bodyless athmaikya(athma union) path only.  By dispassion strength  all bad charecters of body intellect(deha buddhi,the thought that body itself is athma)  should be left.  But importantly truthfulness of all all  and leaving interest  one should have complete joy.

 

 

189) One  should recognize(identify)  who is god who constructed world. If he is realized there will be liberation to jiva.  Those Nirguna(attributeless) forms should be seen  in sagunas(attributeds)  also. But leaving truthfulness intellect  and interest  should br complete joyful(happiness).

 

 

190)God is not  turely doer of  works. Not maimtainer of creation also. But not related to worldly  apperence(illusiuon)  beyond all he will be theres. Should be doing enquiry of such nirvikalpa(changeless) brahma. But mind leaving  truthfulness intellect  and interest  should be completely joyful.

 

 

191)To one who  has  fixed  dehathmabuddhi(knowledge that body itself is athma.This is wrong), will not get knowledge even at the end of kalpa(epoch)! Till there ahamkara(ego) parabrahma is not got. Shunya feeling of mind -ignorence will not go!

 

192)Mind, All high god’s form  is not known to intellect. By thadrupa only he has to do meditation!To that god there are no examples(illustrations) itself is speciality of god.In him In him there is no feeling of attachment and non attachment(nissanga).

 

 

193) Parabrahma can’t be known. As it is matter of experience  can’t be unknown also. As it is so veda-scriptures—epics can’t describe him! He is not a thing to be seen, not invisible also.or not witness of Drishya adrishya.Even vedic sentences can’t know his residence!

!

 

194) What a practitioner(sadhaka)  asks is  who is the god residing in  heart?  After leaving body  where he will remain ? and again  where will he see his place?

 

 

195) God residing in heart is like this see! He will omnipresent like sky.Always filling  everywhere ,he will not come and go! There is no empty place without him.

 

 

196) Moving in sky , in place of anu(particle) renu(pollen grain)  also  there is athmarama! On seing him  he himself becomes that. And inthsat condition  all which is given attention and all what is not given attention all  will get drowned!

 

 

197)this scarupa(form) of rama is like sky. If he is neditated in mind, source of family bondage  will get cut off.  If he is follows and seen,body feeling will not remain.love joy of mind(antharanga)  will never be felt enough for ever.

 

198)o be told really ,sky which established world  will not be suitable example  for athmarama!Because as there is no other thing,who is himself by himself  how to simply say  vyapaka(occupier)?

 

199)Athma svarupa( form) is very ancient,vast.In that even little relation of intellect  is also not tolerated! Though athma is very latent(secret) ,by grace of sadguru ‘it is not different from me’.if this secret is known  surely now and then it is easily got.

 

 

200)s when knowledge rises by guru’s grace , stage of all witnessship gets destroyed  svarupa prapthi(form is got)happens. In that unmani condition  mind and speech become stagnant. That itself is rama form

(ramasvarupa) residing everywhere!

 

 

201After knowing rama svarupa ,where ever seen except Rama nothing else is seen.In mind dvaitha will not remain even a little!RamaRama!after long time, meeting you, by Videha congition  whole body got cooled!

 

 

202) Mind this your secret  I came to know.but for it’s firmness  it is necessary to try. If always shravana(listening) there will be  fixity(of knowledge). Holding true fact  become blessed!

 

 

203) Mind leave body and world excetra.  Biut sathsanga should be done  with love. By company of sajjanas  without  tiredness  of any special means , path of Paramartha is got. By this pitiable worldly sorrows get destroyed.

 

 

204)Mind,sathsanga making to leave all other sangas(companies,attachments),immediately  liberation  is got. Sathsanga breaking dvaitha fully, liberates practitioner(sadhaka)  intensively.

 

 

205)What ramadasa tells at end is, by listening two hundred shlokas of this  book(mind), defects will get destroyed. Dull intellect will become suitable for practice.  To him jnana(knowledge) vairagya (dispassion) comes. And if he is sincere and interested he enoys liberation bliss(joy)!

2)By shravana(listening) and understanding meaning of  two hundred and five shlokas of  Manobodhe, practitioner will get  secret only. To Ramadasa sadguru  very much lovely  yashavantha what he tells is “To achieve Paramartha this only is very easy  path!”
